10 Things to hate about Steve Harrington

You barely have a minute for the two of you on your own. His "adoptive children" and "the wine aunt" (cough... Robin...cough) are always around. Not that you don't like them, you love them actually, but sometimes they make you wish it was just the two of you.

His cooky smile, insufferable and irresistible at the same time.

The way he stings to hairspray. No matter what time of the day it's, his hair has already revived the "special treatment" it deserves. Sometimes you joke about how he smells like a granny.

His "motherly" nature becomes annoying from time to time. Got sick? Need a jacket? Have you eaten today? He seems like a supernnany most of the time.

How he makes you worry about him. A purple eye, bruises in his arms and legs, a cut on his cheek or lips... You have lost count of the times you have told him to stay away from fights he can't win.

His ability not to know what's going on half of time. Whether Dustin and you are talking about videogames or books, or you are facing the dangers of the upside down, he has no clue of what he should do. Although he claims that he manages to deal well with the pressure while appearing confident (or that's what he thinks).

How he is always apologising and being ashamed of the person he used to be. If you met him back on his High School years expect lots of talks about how "He is sorry for being a dickhead then".

His lack of knowledge in not mainstream movie/literature/music culture. Take him away from his comfort zone of sports and he is clueless. Luckily you, Robin and Eddie are there to fix it.

His touchiness, he is like a giant teddy bear. Hugs from behind, kisses on the cheek, always wanting to hold hands. The gang has a conspiracy theory that says he is attached to your hip.

But in the end what you hate more about Steve Harrington is that he changed your plans. Jocks like him were always a waste of time, some people you had to tolerate until you will leave High School become great and forget about them. Yet he turned your world upside down and taught you that he was much more interesting you would have believed initially.
