I fully can’t remember if I ever posted all of these lol, but Pokémon au designs! My v3 Pokémon au takes place in the Johto region (hence everyone’s teams being only kanto and johto Pokémon) and focuses on Maki, Shuichi, and Kaito journeying around battling rivals (Himiko and Kaede), defeating Team Rocket (Kokichi and Gonta), and taking on the gym leaders (the rest of the cast)!

pokémon saiouma AU i’m working because i’m a nerd..

just pokémon i think they would have..

shuichi is a detective. he doesn’t own many pokémon but he has had an absol since he was a kid. he also has a male meowstic, lucario, Alakazam, and a zorua. he mostly keeps them outside their pokeballs unless he’s going out on a case, and they sometimes help (although zorua is keept mostly at home).

shuichis uncle has a gardevoir, and a malamar

kaede is a pokémon preformer who has a silvion, Audino, Jigglypuff, Primarina, gogoat, Togepi, beyleeef. sometimes they do mini performances at the senior citizens homes and she plays piano for them.

kaito is a personal trainer (he also trains pokémon) Machamp. he also has Riolu, Primeape, Pangoro, and a Oranguru

maki has a mawile and a Lopunny

rantaro is a pokémon groomer. also a pokémon sitter (mostly for his sisters). his partner is a Hatterene. shiinotic, volpix, Nickit, ralts, Espurr, Litten, Pumpkaboo, Dragonair, Goodra, Leafeon, Umbreon, Espeon (most of his sisters have at least an eve or an eve evaluation)(he also takes in pokémon from the streets and grooms them and most of them just stay with him, he has a lot..)

kokichi is the leader of DICE; they’re just pranksters who know a lot of people.. kichi partner is Mimikyu and he also has a Misdreavus, Banette, ditto, Nickit and a Haunter who help him with pranks and, taking things..?

celestia is a gambler who runs a underground casino, and works with fuyuhiko. she’s also close with ouma. she has a purugly, gothitelle, and a Persian.

AU is mostly about kokichi helping shuichi with a case, i was thinking something similar to what happened with the bridge girl ghost in pokémon black and white (lmao at least following the theory around it)

but it would be funny if they met like.. shuichi gets too caught up with the case he can’t figure out; and he didn’t realize zoruas run off (to be part of a prankster gang) and he needs to find him but weird things end up happening (because kokichis pokémon are jerks who like playing pranks on him, and they think he’s a jerk for leaving zorua home all the time), maybe kokichi didn’t even know and he’s also looking for his other pokémon (who he’s haven’t seen in a while). mimiku helping him) LOLZ

I really love AU's, and especially Danganronpa ones, cause they have all different kinds.

Your favourite character died? No, in this fic they didn't. You don't like the killing game. What killing game?

Like, I love them. And not just those ones.

I can only speak for fics that mostly center around the THH characters, but they're awesome.

Like, if you were in the DR fandom during 2020, you've heard of the fic that is Never Say Never. It's a very popular fic. And after dissapearing for 3 years, it got updated again.

Then, there's If Despair Never Ended which gives us some really good Mukuro development.

But, those are killing game centric, in one way or another. There are many other fics that are just as good if not better.

Like, there's this one Fantasy AU which I really like. Read a Pokémon one too.

But, my favourite one has to be Ultimates. Like, damn, that shit's good. It has lore like I'ce never seen before and just makes all of the characters better. It's now finished, but the author is writing a sequel called The Show Starts Now which is just as awesome.

It centers more around the V3 cast, but the THH casts are currently getting a bigger role. And it's being updated every week eith chapters around 10K words. 10K. And here I struggle to write 1/4 of that (I haven't updated my fic in over three weeks, but I'm working on it-)

And those chapters are just pure perfection. Like, every once in a while we'll get these jaw dropping lore drops, like damn.

Not to mention that we've kinda created a little fandom at this point. For a fic.

Yeah, dunno how it happened.

But, really. Go check both Ultimates and The Show Starts Now out. They're my top fics forever.

Good morning!

This is the first post we post in our collective blog for the Koneli system.

We are a parogenic system (Born voluntarily by the exercise of tulpamancy) and we use non-standard terminology. Most of our members are fictives of either the host's original stories or the host's fics.

We haven't quite managed to front, but we manage the interaction by eclipsing.

I am the host, my name is JAMS, and my inability to let other people front is because I kinda need to be in control to mask adequatly, as we are autistic as well.

We remember everything I do, but for most of the tulpas it's just informed stuff and not actual memories.

He has his Hajime memories but personally rejects that identity. ---Tsumugi Shirogane (She/her): A Danganronpa fictive straight from Danganronpa V3, after her canon death. ---King Napoleon (He/him): A fictive of my own story: "Mem's Legacy". ---Snow King (He/him): An Adventure Time fictive from my AU "Snow King", where Gunther never became the Ice Thing and, after the comics "Simon and Marcy", Simon put on the rebooted crown and wished to be Ice King but not insane. ---Winter (He/him): A Pokémon fictive, an Iron Bundle who's sophont. ---Showbiz Fredbear (He/him): A FNAF fictive from my own OC Animatronic Models from my own AU. ---Melissa (She/her): An original tulpa, she's a Celesgynoid, a robotic angel. She uses the UTAU voice of Tei Sukone, but nothing else. ---Aventurine (She/her): A fictive of my Steven Universe Lapidot fusion OC. Unfortunately, some of these people might disappear, I'll try to keep them together, but some of them become dormant when I get sick.

Hello? Hello? Danganronpa self shipper? Please share the F/Os and S/Is I crave this content bestie

Okay, so you asked this like, weeks ago (I’m sorry) but I am now officially not too stressed to enjoy anything other than Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I also had to write this in two sittings. So let’s go :3

My S/I is literally just me plopped in there. A tiny trans-guy being neurodivergent and trying his best. Like, I sometimes play with more backstory of me finally being able to study abroad in Japan and visiting Hopes Peak (except I’ve graduated now without ever studying abroad, thanks COVID :,3) and y’know, shit hits the fan. after those Sneaksy Twins™ start putting plans into action that involve one of them “disappearing” Mr. Jin Kirigiri was like “shit, need to find another one to fill in the gap so that we can have adequate pairs of Make Babies just in case everyone else dies. YOU. ASSIGNED FEMALE AT BIRTH.” :/ Which leads to survival, which leads to Future Foundation being like “hey can you babysit these guys on an island for us real quick” which justifies in my head my participation in the first two games. It also forces me to think dialogue in Japanese, which I desperately need to practice. But that’s all very messy and I generally don’t think about it too hard. That is for “canon” timeline anyway.

I do prefer non-despair AUs though, and also the “before everything went wrong” part of the anime. My idea there is that (by means I haven’t bothered to figure out) a woefully unqualified me is able to sneak into class 77 after stealing a Main Course uniform. Any time someone asks about my ultimate talent the answer changes which eventually leads to “haha, guess and I’ll tell you if you’re right ;)” My S/I does not have an ultimate talent, which does lead to angst. Yes, you already know where this is going, but let’s start with THH.

Oh, just so that I don’t have to name quite so many, I adore almost all of the characters platonically. There are, of course exceptions, but I think only Junko and Hiyoko, do I really dislike.

So in Trigger Happy Havoc, the only character I really ever desired romantically/intimately was Leon Kuwata. Much to my chagrin, he is a fuckboy. That’s okay though, it started out as a “hey if we’re all going to die, why not a little hedonism? I don’t wanna die a virgin, you game?” Alas ._. Anyway, we’re more fuck-buddies than anything, or we were because now I’m in a more committed relationship :3

Let’s hop over to V3 for juuust a sec before I absolutely gush on my SDR2 babes. ^^

So, either kinning Shuichi led to f/o-ing him, or f/o-ing him led to kinning. One or the other. My best friend kins Kaede, so go figure. Either way, I love him ^^ That said, I’m also a simp for Kaede, she’s such a good girl. I like to think of the three of us in a polycule.

I also love love love Kiibo so much!!! He’s such a good boy and he’s trying his best! I like to think of us becoming closer in my Japanese daydreams because I rely on him to translate some of my more complicated thoughts (trials) when I don’t have the vocabulary to communicate them in Japanese.

Okay! Now for SDR2! I could honestly make a separate post just for them. I’ll put the meta in this post and make a separate post for my canon ^^

Alrighty, so I think that my first boyo was Kazuichi Souda, Mr. shark teeth himself. It was real quick, I don’t remember exactly when, but I do remember commenting to my friends that I wanted to kiss him on the mouth pretty early on though. It became a running joke ^^ Pretty simple though, I thought he was attractive and had almost exactly the same personality type as Leo Valdez a la Percy Jackson, who I also had a huge crush on back in the day.

Next, chronologically and in terms of how complicated the route to understanding the feelings, is Fingers-In-His-Ass himself, Nagito Komaeda. So in the beginning I thought he was a pretty decent guy, but 1. I’d been on the internet long enough, and 2. My friend who had played the DR games before had a <_< attitude about him, so I knew something would happen. After the first trial, my pre-played friend was like “yeah, never really liked him. I thought he was pretty annoying” and my friend who was playing for the first time with me was like “lmao wtf” and despite everything, I couldn’t find it in me to hate him. I was kinda confused about it, but hating him didn’t feel right, despite the awful things he did. It wasn’t until I was contemplating after waking up at 3am or something, that I realized I couldn’t hate him because he was just like me. When my depression gets real bad, my self loathing monologue is his self deprecating monologue almost verbatim. From there, I was more inclined to sympathize with him and try to defend him. There… there was a little bit of an “I can fix him” thing going on, I’ll be real. But he doesn’t need to be “fixed” if it’s a non-despair AU and everything is fine anyway!

And finally, the MOST CONVOLUTED WAY TO CATCH FEELINGS EVER. Ft. Teruteru Hanamura :3

So, a little about me: I just graduated college with a bachelors degree in Japanese language. The school I went to required a senior thesis to graduate, for a Japanese degree that meant writing a 25 page paper about something related to Japan/Japanese language/culture. My topic of choice was the localization of Japanese video games for US audiences.

Actually, the whole reason I stumbled upon this topic was with the help of Teruteru and Miss Lotta Hart, from the Ace Attorney series. I wondered why in these two games (that I played in English) both had a character that spoke with a US southern accent, when the original games were written in Japanese. Obviously this had been a choice during localization, but why? How did they talk in the Japanese versions, and what’s the connection between their characters?

Well, for Lotta, she speaks with and Osaka dialect and portrays a character trope for loud, direct, and headstrong characters. Osaka characters are a character trope, pretty cut and dry. Teruteru doesn’t really fit into that, and only speaks with an accent near the end, so what does that mean?

I ended up writing a 7 page section titled “The Fascinating Case of Teruteru Hanamura”. I studied his dialect usage during the trial—it is not the same as Lotta’s dialect—I studied the way that he talks before he slips into that dialect, compared the stereotypes associated with the dialect that he uses and a US southern accent, and finally did an analysis of his character, why and how he masked where he was from, and why localization did a good job of conveying that character arc. Yeah, I did a lot of researching and thinking and writing about Teruteru.

And thesis? It’s stressful. I had a good many breakdowns over the course of the semester, but the only way to make myself less stressed was to do it. The trouble is, I have a really hard time organizing my thoughts on paper, but I can speak them really well. So in true self-shipper form, I found myself talking out my thoughts and planning my writing with fictional characters. And who’s the fictional character who was always on my mind? Teruteru. I ended up talking to him a lot, I got stressed a lot.

And ya know what? I think he’s exactly the f/o I needed to support me at that time. When I get super stressed, I don’t want to eat. I don’t want to go somewhere on campus to get food where people can see me falling apart. But it was a lot harder to skip meals when he was right there to bug me about it. “Honey, when did you eat last?” “Nah nah nah nah, I don’t think so. C’mon sugar, let’s go find something for you to eat.” “I’ll come with you, it won’t be so scary.” <3 <3 <3!!!!!!

So eventually my interest in him could not be considered solely academic any longer ^^;;;

So yeah, Souda-Pop, Teru Chan, and Nagito are my main polycule. I adore them. But this post is a novel as it is, so I’ll make a post just for them to continue gushing ^^

Part two of Pokemon AU!

Shuichi -His partner pokemon is an Umbreon, which he raised from an egg -Umbreon is the only pokemon he has that evolved -Besides Umbreon, his other pokemon are Sobble, Rockruff and Shinx -He doesn’t particularly enjoy battling, but he knows how to  -Kyoko is his idol -Kaede only managed to convince him to go on a pokemon journey with her by promising that they would visit Kyoko’s gym lol

Kaede -She loves sound-based pokemon, and dreams of one day being able to perform with them -Her partner pokemon is a Chatot, who doesn’t battle -She also has a Jigglypuff, Swablu, Sylveon, and a baby Togepi -The pokemon she battles with most is Sylveon -Trying to evolve her Swablu, which is the main reason she wanted to go on a pokemon journey -But she didn’t want to go alone so she convinced Shuichi to join her -She can sing duets with Chatot, and is practicing to do the same with her other pokemon

((Also, the reason Angie has such good luck with encountering rare pokemon is because she’s actually Nagito’s niece, whose biological parents died at a young age. At that time, Nagito was struggling with depression and his many illnesses, meaning he was in and out of the hospital frequently. He decided that he was incapable of raising a child, and gave her over to Celeste, who he felt would have a more stable environment for Angie. Some of the luck he has must have rubbed off))

Tsumugi and Miu for my PMD AU! The two are on an exploration team together, though I. Haven't actually come up with any team names for anyone yet dgshss

Yet again, there's more information under the cut! And yet again, there are DRv3 spoilers below as well!

With two exceptions, the v3 kids are all trainees at the Hope's Peak Guild! None of them were part of an actual team at first, and instead they all entered as individual explorers. Eventually, after spending some time doing jobs alongside various guild mates, they were officially paired up with the person they worked best with. (So for example, Shuichi had done a few jobs with Kaito, Maki, Kokichi, and likely others before ultimately being paired with Kiibo).

Keep in mind that not all Rescue/Exploration Teams are necessarily romantic! Some are, like Naegiri, Saiibo, and Kaimaki, but others, like this one, aren't.

Miu is researching the mysterious phenomenon she calls "Mega Evolution", which allows a Pokémon to go beyond their regular capabilities for a limited amount of time. The technique comes at a price, though, and can be dangerous if not done properly. She does end up evolving during the story, and as such is able to personally benefit from her hard work

Miu is actually the one credited with the discovery of Mega Evolution in this universe! It didn't exist during the THH and DR2 crews' adventures, and is only usable towards the end of the v3 kids' story.

Also, while I don't particularly like Miu as a character, I'm really happy with how this design turned out--

Tsumugi is actually a Marshadow disguised as a Mimikyu, and is of course the villain of the v3 cast's story. She eventually reveals her true form to the group and betrays everyone, starting the real adventure. I haven't quite figured out her motive yet, though. Perhaps I'll draw her true form once I do

Since Tsumugi's a cosplayer, I thought it'd be more interesting if she was actually dressed up as a specific Pikachu! So, I gave her Ash's hat from the Pokémon anime. Maybe a similar show (or book?) exists in this universe, except that Ash is a Pikachu rather than a human

She's been paired up with Miu for... Plot reasons =)
