I'm just hoping with Imola, since it's right before Monaco, that the upgrades solve some quali problems and Charles gets comfortable with the set up, so that maybe, just maybe, he can take Monaco this year

I think we’re all hoping that. It’s clear from interviews that Charles has his sights set on Monaco, as if you can qualify on pole it gives you the best chance of pole to win conversion of the entire calendar. We can only hope! Save us Imola upgrades!

Do you have any head cannons involving the Steam Powered Giraffe robots playing charades? Go to teams, banned topics, ect

Every single time they play, they have to make a multitude of new rules because they feel like everyone finds a way to cheat. The more rules they make, the more personal they get. Eventually they start getting violent, which will eventually cause Peter to ban Charades from the manor.

Since Rabbit and The Spine were banned from being on the same team together, (they’re just really good and everyone hated that. So they’re not allowed on the same team anymore) they switch out regularly. Mostly because everyone loves The Spine when he’s on their team, but HATES it when he’s on someone else’s team. He’s really good in particular.

Here’s a list of some of the rules they have and who broke it first, and who assigned it

Do you machine sew or like hand sew ? I had tried to hand sew once .... sprained my wrist and had a headache for a week.

i used to hand sew everything bc i was deathly afraid of sewing machines, but it always took too long to be function and left me with calloused fingers + a sore wrist,,, i have since Befriended the machine and am currently much happier with far fewer injuries. if you're interested in sewing but don't have a machine, i'd suggest looking into a very cheap, very old model (if it has a screen avoid it at all costs) or investing in a hand-held sewing machine, which probably isn't going to cut down on the time but will help to stave off early onset arthritis for another decade or so. i do still embroider by hand, but other then that, you wouldn't be able to tear my machine out of my cold dead hands. i've taken care of her like a retired warhorse and she and i are now emotionally bonded.

#that being said #(and this part is only going to be coherent with people who are also in the trenches or have been before) #i am thinking about upgrading soon #i have an elderly janome right now #and i do love her bc she's not too picky about string tension or needle type and takes a thread jam like a champ #but i am also missing every single specialty foot she came with and have never actually seen the manual #i'm not sure if it actually makes that much of a difference tho #perhaps another pilgrimage to the holy land (45 minute trip to joannes) will reveal the answer #personal #anon ask

• Sonic and Tails try to find a better place to put the Master Emerald since they almost forgot the cooler

• Sonic and Tails rebuild the plane they used during the Death Egg Robot fight, complete with all sorts of unnecessary upgrades

• Sonic takes Tails on a world tour to satisfy the latter's curiosity about the planet because watching Discovery Channel wasn't enough

• Sonic wants to become a social media influencer, so Tails takes it a step further by inventing TailsTube and broadcasts it not just on Earth, but to the whole universe

• Tails asks Sonic to teach him how to defend himself since the latter's the next best teacher after Knuckles, and Sonic goes along with it until Tails reveals he wants to defend himself because he's getting bullied and Sonic goes into protective big brother mode

TWENTY YEARS oh lord i can’t believe you wrote this when you were fourteen!! i did not have nearly half the talent at that age, nor the patience and work ethic to write as much as you did… you were a machine! (this is jily titanic anon In case it wasn’t clear lol)

I don't know if I'd call it work ethic when I really was just a lil fucking nerd who spent most of her time writing whenever and wherever I got the chance, and had a pretty minimal social life so I could be on the computer all the time. If anything, I was ambitious and wanted to rule the fandom as a Big Name Fan and get published at 19 (lol), like a teen with no serious responsibilities would.

Also, not to sound like a boomer, but fandom really was a different place back then. There weren't as many distractions as there are now. Social media didn't exist, so fic and art were some of the main ways to participate in fandom outside of message boards and fan sites. You could make gifs or videos, but you had to have money, skill, and good tech to do that, so that was out of reach for kids like me who were always using a refurbished computer one operating system behind. So I stuck with what I could do, writing and drawing.

Obviously, only one of those stuck, and that's how I ended up carting all of these around with me for the rest of my adult life.

(If I had work ethic, I would've finished those fics!!!)

Still crazy to me how we used to pray that Ferrari would have less tyre deg, and now I'm wishing Ferrari would heat up their tyres more.

It's also why I am not concerned about Charles' performance - he learned to master all those godawful tyre-eating Ferrari's and managed to make them look like relatively normal cars. He babied those tyres so much that he's now too gentle with them on the new car. He's just having to relearn how to manage tyres that can take more heat in them.
