between the line a HOND Modern Day AU fic for @twolionss

the day after Frollos attack on Cardinal Lustiger, the cardinal recived a respones to the letter he sent to the nunciature

To His Eminence Jean Marie Cardinal Lustiger

Archbishop of Paris

i want to have a private meeting with you, Frollo and Aupetit meet me at the nunciature as soon as you get this letter

Mgr Luigi Ventrua Apostolic Nuncio to France

Cardinal Lustiger went to the Nunciature where Aupetit and Ventrua were already there so was Frollo who did not look happy to be there

"You submited a report concernig the abuse of a minor at the hands of Monsignor Claude Frollo correct" said Ventrua as he looked trouge his papers on his desk

"That is correct" said Cardinal Lustiger

"Quasi as the boy is called is not safe with Frollo" said Aupetit

"I have told the Holy Father everthing im just waiting for his response" said Ventrua

"YOU TOLD THE POPE ABOUT QUASIMODO" yelled Frollo

"Frollo your treatment of Quasi is compleatly unaccepteble we have the hope of the Holy Father defrocking you" said Aupetit

"WHAT,THE HOLY FATHER JUST MADE ME A CHAPILAN OF HIS HOLINESS" said Frollo

"Im Sorry Claude but you made a vow of obedience to me,and the Holy See you have broken sevral of your Vows" Said Cardinal Lustiger

"I DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT MY VOWS YOU PACK OF SNITCHING WOLVES" Yelled Frollo

"I Will inform the holy Father the minite i get back to Rome" said Ventrua

Frollo walked off but not before mutturing under his breath "pack of cassock wearing wolves"

"He must be defrocked as soon as possible" said Aupetit

"All we can do is wait for the Holy Father's response" said Ventura

The next day a letter from Rome came in

To our Venrebel Brother Mgr Luigi Ventura Apostolic Nuncio to France

I have decided that the actions of our dear son mgr Claude Frollo do not consult an offense of cannon law but rather sate law

I cannot defrock him until he is tried by the state

My beloved friends and comrades,

it’s been a tough year for us all, it’s getting tougher. So I decided to count my blessings and started with some “grounding”, which is looking around and seeing objects - the obvious yet very important, very tangible things that make me happy. Objects are symbols and they do make a difference, especially when sent by friends.

So here they are:

@twolionss made me an exquisite Valoris friendship bracelet which can also be used as a bookmark. 🥰

On to other hand-made gifts, @green-ann ‘s fabulous watercolour card (she knows all too well my obsession for nevalyashka dolls 🤭).

Perhaps one of the most beautiful vintage cards I’ve ever received, THANK you @owlboxes . 🥰🥰 I’m a an absolute sucker for anything vintage, and this card is so precious with all its little details - doesn’t that ashtray look like Valery’s?? And the Krasnaya Shapochka waffle, it’s all in the card I tell you. 🤩

More bottles, more cards. 🤗💕 @alyeen1′s beautiful reminder of why we love Valoris so much - the unspoken words, the silent gazes, the meaningful gestures that show how much they care for each other. And here’s a rendition of one of many scenes that convey so much with so little dialogue - the vodka scene. Art by @itisa-profoundbond-sarandom

Also @alyeen1′s gift for my birthday. ^^ A most precious notebook that captures the Valoris aesthetic perfectly: the radiation symbol, the quote, the font, our beautiful Soviet husbands. And of course, the colour that makes Chernobyl even more Chernobyl: ORANGE. 🧡

And now for @litttlesilkworm’s insanely amazing gift: the Afghanka hat with the pin. 😍😍😍 What more could I ask for? It’s the kind of hat Bacho wore (the pin is more like Pavel’s, they probably mixed and matched after they had sex lol), and of course I will wear it proudly. ^^

@litttlesilkworm also sent me this card, it is one of the stained glasses at the administration building of the Chernobyl power plant. It depicts Prometheus handing fire to mankind - and we all know where that led. Prometheus’ intentions were good but Zeus knew very well why he had to punish such an act, didn’t he?

@johnlockismyreligion’s lovely card also came with lovely stickers on its envelope - do I spy an Arsène Lupin III lookalike or...?? So I had to match it with my Lupin crisps package (you guessed it, I have a huge variety of collections).

@stellan-pip-69 is a life-saver - some Stellan films are just too hard to find. Thank you, dear, they were worth the wait. 😘

Last but not least, a whole package of gifts from one of my first tumblr friends, sumerlaa, including TWO Disney dolls, a card and a sketchbook. 😍😍😍

I’m an avid collector of dolls and Wendy is simply adorable with her ginger hair and blue dress (bestest combination ever). As for Esmeralda... well she is Esmeralda. Disney will never have a more badass underrated “princess” than her.

Comrades, let’s hope that this year will be as beautiful and unique as your gifts. For everyone.

All 3 nights?!?!?Wooooah!!! RESPECT. My ticket says Gradin O, Rang 15, Place 37, pretty sure I was sitting at the same side as you (as you see the stage, on the left), still can’t believe I listened to Garou, Daniel and Patrick singing “Belle” live!

OMG WE WERE SITTING AT THE ALMOST SAME RANG EVEN. I WAS RANG 16, PLACE 42.

We had 8 for Friday and Sunday, and on Saturday 16.

That’s an easy one.

1) The Three Musketeers.

Read the Mother of all Bromances dating back in the 19th century. Read a book where the most efficient ruthless killer among them, the suave sweet-natured Aramis, decides to become a monk and give up on his friends and their quest after getting a serious injury (and a serious fall out with his sweetheart, whom he thinks unfaithful) only for D’Artagnan to bring him a letter from her and say “Well, since you decided to become a monk and leave our adventures behind, I guess you have no use for that scented letter anymore, right? So I might as well throw it to the fire. Right??”

And Aramis springs to his feet and goes “Wait WHAT??? What scented letter?”

“Oh just a silly thing I happen to have with me, here, let me throw it to the flames since you don’t need it anymore.”
