Knitting: I made a cardigan! I ended up not following a specific pattern for this one. Instead I used inspiration from cardigan patterns I like and just improvised. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end.

Ski trip! Buzz and I went on a mini ski/snowboard trip with our friends. It's been a long time for the both of us but we got back on the slopes and had a lot of fun. I am sooo sore today.

thanks for asking and for waiting 🥰better late than never that they say... i wrote more than i tought i would so i put it under the cut ♥

(there was no signal at all so there weren't any lives i'm guessing) i arrived there late-ish and i was alone so while i tried to find a place towards the middle i ended up in the back of the venue, where i had more space, it wasn't as hot (it was REALLY hot, as you probably can tell by louis changing) and i could actually see the stage and not people heads.

this might be a bit of a disappointing recounting cause it's all a bit mixed up in my head. it was good, cause louis is always good live and he keeps improving, but i wasn't in the best place, phisically or mentally (i didn't even realize he didn't sing JHO until afterwards when i read about it... even asked if i could go sit upstairs after a few songs, but i was told there were no seats, which is a lie).

OTP were better than i remember, probably new songs? they started early, i did notice that 😂

my first thought was "wait is that PINK???" 😂 (now i know it wasn't pink but red but in my brain it is pink). it was amazing to start the show with we made it live, i got this mushy feeling "yes babe WE MADE IT" 🥺🥺🥺

after a few songs, since i was feeling better i decided to be bad and pretend i was looking for my friend, i got to a good place but got greedy and tried to keep going and i couldn't see anything again or remember where i was right before so... back to the back 😂 yes, i know, that wasn't nice of me, i'm not used to being at the back it felt weird.

overall my favorite memories are probably beautiful war, cause now that i know the lyrics and the melody i can focus on his voice and i closed my eyes and swayed there in the back and it feel so... beautiful and getting to hear copy live for the first time, finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm also very grateful that i was part of... OTB. i had a flag in barcelona, and held it very proudly first row, but it was nothing like how many flags there are right now. someone handed me both a orange sticker for my flashlight and a small lesbian flag and it's so nice to just... be there, and feel that sense of belonging.

i made a concious decision to not film (other than hoOoOme, i had to) or take many pictures so that helps making it feel even more unreal 😂 i focused on screaming at the top of my lungs and jumping and giving my everything (not for LBD, i sat in the floor for that one, sorry louis i can't support your wrongs this time).

i also didn't sang that line in habit and screamed louder than everyone else for the next part cause i wanted him to feel my love from the back of the venue and that i needed him in front of me. oh, and during TTD everyone went crazy the venue was vibrating... i saved energy for KMM. yeah. i'm petty.

anyway, the stage was brilliant. the lights and the screens and the fireworks and LOUIS. he was really small from where i was but he looked very pretty in the screens and in both outfits ☺️☺️

and yeah i thought i had less to say... i love louis so much ♥ and he sounded amazing ♥

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Definitely Sly. He’d just bring them out of nowhere cause I’m sure he likes surprising her at every turn with it.

Gets jealous the most: I mean, Carmelita, but I feel like both of them can be. She’d most likely tease him about it once she finds out he seems a little peeved.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Carmelita. Definitely. I feel like she can hold her liquor better than Sly, whether he chooses to drink a lot or when he’s hanging out with the gang.

Takes care of on sick days: I feel like they’re take care of one another when either of them are sick. They could be pretty stubborn in a good way to be with them when they aren’t well and may feel guilty leaving each other behind if they have to work.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: I’m not sure if either of them are the swimming type. I think both of them are just going to chill on the sand.

Gives unprompted massages: Sly would. He could see how stressed Carmelita is and just go for it despite her reassuring she’s fine.

Drives/rides shotgun: Carmelita. She couldn’t totally trust Sly with her own car. Not yet.

Brings the other lunch at work: Sly would, I think him traveling around the world would give him a lot of ideas for recipes to try and cook for Carmelita.

Has the better parental relationship: I’m a little confused with this one, but I guess who has a good relationship with their parents? I want to say Sly before he lost them because he has fond memories of them and they want him to continue the lineage. Carmelita might have had it tougher since in her own family they could have pushed her a lot to train and become the best inspector in Paris.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: Absolutely Sly. Just look at him. He would initiate it or most likely ask for consent of it first.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Sly, but secretly, Carmelita had a night or two when it happened and she refuses to talk about it whenever it’s brought up.

Still cries watching Titanic: I feel like they’ll both shed some tears for it. :)

Firmly believes in couples costumes: Sly, he’ll think they’ll both be the coolest at the costume party. Plus he always hams it up anyway when he’s in disguise, may as well have fun with it while Carmelita begrudgingly does it for him.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Sly, he’ll just spoil Carmelita no matter what and give her fancy jewelry, a watch, nice dresses, etc. (She might be suspicious and think he stole it, but he’ll definitely save up his money to spoil her)

Makes the other eat breakfast: Carmelita. She can only imagine what Sly did or did not eat as a proper breakfast before they got together.

Remembers anniversaries: I feel they might both struggle at remembering them at the start of the relationship, but first would be Carmelita and eventually Sly.

Brings up having kids: Perhaps at the same time, they both might be hinting at having a child until Carmelita finally says so.

She unfortunately couldn’t truly say why she had to hide her face from the social media picture. But the ruse of it being a case of camera shyness was a good enough one all the same.

The way she'd seemed to talk so much about her client and her job and just how much it was all so stressful was mindblowing. Pari could barely keep up with Caroline but she tried.

"Nice to meet you, Caroline. I'm Pari and.. I mean, sure. I'm not doing anything at the moment and I'm not really busy. So.. sure. I can come along if you would like the company! But what about your client? Will they be joining us.."

She didn't want to make things awkward at all, given that she didn't even know this lady all that well either.

Smiling triumphantly about having bagged herself a new buddy for the next couple of hours, she nodded away in the direction of the aforementioned bar, ❝C’mon, it’s only a couple of minutes walk! You said your name was Pari, didn’t you...? I swear, that name rings a bell from somewhere...❞ Caroline tapped her chin in thought, but it was only a fleeting memory of something that now seemed vague and distant.

The bar was adorned with multicoloured tea tree lights with little flickering candles inside them, fitting in nicely with the tropical theme of the place. The tables were made of thick, heavy wood with palm-leaf shaped beer mats & brightly coloured menus. ❝Isn’t it so cute here? I was able to drag my client out for a drink last night & the atmosphere was really fun here!❞ Not that he’d appreciated it in the slightest, ❝They have waitresses & bartenders in the dusk that sing & dance and, like, put on little shows and stuff! I can’t wait to see it again!❞ she beamed, shrugging off her cardigan and tossing it onto the back of one of the sturdy wooden chairs, flicking her blonde hair out of her eyes. ❝Alright, first round’s on me! What’re you drinking? You strike me as a gin & tonic kinda girl! Or maybe, like, a dry martini...?❞ She bit her lip with a playful giggle, ❝Or one of each?❞

Last Movie: I watched The Great Wall with @the-halo-of-my-memory last night because she’s humoring my Pedro Pascal era—until she fell asleep that is 💀 (love u sleepy girl)

Last Series: I rarely watch tv shows to be frank. I think the last thing I watched was the book of boba fett.

Tea or Coffee: Tea all the way. Coffee just doesn’t do it for me, it makes my pee smell weird. I’d rather be relaxing sipping on lavender earl grey or rose chai.

Currently working on: Writing wise there’s this Arthur fic I have been working on for years, over 15k words on part one of what I’m thinking will be 3 parts lol. It focuses on overcoming trauma and healing from it; the reason why I haven’t given up on it is because the message is really important to me, and Arthur is the ultimate safety comfort character to explore those themes 🥺 Also some Joel headcanons because the fics that are out there are too dark and ooc for my tastes and I just want to give him a fucking hug 😭

Embroidery wise there’s a little sign I’m making that says “fight the good fight, write the good write” with a sword and a pen wrapped in vines and roses—something to put up by my desk to give me the motivation to keep writing. I’ll for sure post it when I’m done 😊

James’ world closed down to just this: Cordelia was here, she was with him, and she looked frightened. He would do anything to stop that look on her face. He caught her in his arms, and the relief was incredible — he had not realized how much he wanted to be touching her until he was. Until he was holding her, and her strength and warmth and softness were all pressed against him, and her face was so beautiful it hurt, and her lips were parted in surprise and without another thought he kissed them.

He could feel her sharp intake of breath with his hands, clasped together at her lower back. She gasped, but did not draw back, or away — he thought he would have died if she had — she leaned into him, her full lips opening under his. She was kissing him back. He tasted honey, smelled jasmine and smoke. His hand slid up her warm cheek and into the soft fall of her hair.

Time stopped.
