Palaeophis is a type of giant aquatic snake that spawns in tropical oceans and rarely in mangroves. Palaeophis prefer to use coral or plants as cover to ambush their prey, they mostly prey on dolphins and don't hunt players because I'm not adding vore to minecraft.
Tumblr media
In real life, palaeophis was one of the largest survivors of the K/PG mass extinction reaching lengths of up to 40ft long, making it the third largest snake behind Gigantophis and Titanoboa.
Edit: More recent finds suggest that it was even bigger than Gigantophis, albeit still smaller than Titanoboa.

First band: Rammstein. I would make my stuffed animals headband to Sonne and Mutter. That band taught me to count to ten in German around the same time that I learned to count to ten in English.
Last song:  I think Lights by Ellie Goulding or Zero by Imagine Dragons. Angst-adjacent songs about growing up have been vibing with me lately.
Favorite band:  Sleeping At Last. I love songs that have theatrical or poetic lyrics, and O'Neal's voice adds a beautifully emotional touch to everything he sings.
First book:  Green Eggs and Ham or And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street.
Last book:  Flowers for Algernon. Haven't stopped thinking about it since.
First game:  Mario Golf or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask
Last game:  Pokémon Café ReMix, though I did just purchase Superliminal
Favorite game:  It changes constantly, but Supergiant's Hades is a recurring contestant
Working on:  I'm currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and watching The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. My dream is to publish a fantasy novel that I'm "working on."
Last movie:  It’s been some time, but I believe the last movie I watched was Murder on the Orient Express (1974). In theaters, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3.

Lord Of Light by Tom Scioli
with the attached caption: Here’s a tribute to Barry Ira Geller, who died last year. Barry commissioned the Lord of Light drawings from Jack Kirby for a proposed film. Unbeknownst to Barry or Jack, the production was part of a CIA operation as detailed in the film Argo.

Zoophobia, or animal phobia, is the irrational fear or aversion towards animals (excluding humans). Zoophobia is the general negative reaction to animals, but it is usually divided into many subgroups, each being of a specific type of zoophobia. Although zoophobia as a whole is quite rare, types of the fear are common. As mentioned before by Sigmund Freud, an animal phobia is one of the most frequent psychoneurotic diseases among children. Zoophobia is almost never towards mammals, but instead towards non-mammalia creatures. A list of common zoophobias is shown below.
Ailurophobia- fear of cats
Arachnophobia- fear of arachnids
Batrachophobia- fear of amphibians
Chiroptophobia- fear of bats
Cynophobia- fear of dogs
Entomophobia- fear of insects
Equinophobia- fear of horses
Ichthyophobia- fear of fish
Lepidopterophobia- fear of butterflies and/or moths
Melissophobia- fear of bees
Musophobia- fear of mice and rats
Ophidiophobia-fear of snakes
Ornithophobia- fear of birds
Ostraconophobia- fear of shellfish
Ranidaphobia- fear of frogs
Vermiphobia- fear of worms

Yes, honestly, I don’t know why, but I literally do headcanon Terry had to overcome a sort of trauma connected to snakes because, in layman terms, it is never pleasant when you nearly ended up in a pit of full them, alongside countless other soldiers before your friend interjected and saved your life, but seeing how much of a tendency towards controlling everything he has, I think Terry would go above and beyond to overcompensate for what he perceived as a crucial, pivotal moment of weakness in that cage and he’d literally drink snake poison, in (self) prescribed dosages, that he’d let the same reptilians slither over him, skin on skin, to make the sensation more acute and more disconcerting to the senses; often, they’d bite him and he’d take it. He’d frequently invite it, baring a piece of flesh, pushing and poking at the animal to anger it. Make it bite him. Challenge himself that way. Push his own limits. He never saw it as self-harm, he saw it as growth. He taught himself to endure it. Disciplined himself out of his trauma the best way he knew how. Verging on torture. He confronted his fears head on until it they weren’t there anymore --- or at least, weren’t so noticeable, suppressed somewhere beneath all the self-induced pain. He despised being afraid of something, and by extension, controlled by it --- made vulnerable through it --- so he ensured he was neither afraid, nor controlled. He forced that anxiety out of himself by spending weeks and weeks in self-induced fever. When he was done with himself, he relished in snakes. His body started developing a natural immunity. Terry imagined himself reborn. Next time a life poses him with a snake pit; he’d be prepared.
