Don’t get me wrong, he can be hilarious. I really liked him when he was first introduced. But after his revival? Way too anxiety-inducing. Also. Like. I get it. You hate Eclipse. NO EXCUSE TO KILL HIM. Makes you JUST AS BAD AS HIM, you CHILD.

Hey guys we need to talk about this again it seems

I got a ask yesterday from that stinky anon who got REALLY aggressive about me refusing to back down from reblogging @tsams-confessions and. My god guys this is not normal.

To summarize what the ask said, it basically blamed me for causing repulsed aspecs to harass and accuse Solarmoon shippers. It went on to say that nobody cared about their concerns until I started reblogging confessions. The ask goes on to call these concerns "whining" and was angered that repulsed aspecs in particular had a "big voice" (me) to back them up. They called repulsed aspecs to be annoying and demanding, calling our opinions puritanical. Then they said that this is why other aspecs turned on us.

So, if you couldn't tell by reading that summary, it's the most blatant display of aphobia ever seen. To say that we were annoying for being upset that the little representation we had is constantly being erased? I personally am not even going after solarmoon shippers specifically anymore, this is about GENERAL APHOBIA in this fandom now. To be so upset about aspecs that just want to have representation in media they enjoy is petty and if you can't understand that it's aphobic the way you're putting your ships before their opinions I don't know what to tell you.

Alloromantic asexuals and Allosexual aromantics have always been favored in bigger lgbt circles, and repulsed aroaces never get any representation, or get treated differently than allos. I'm sorry you got harassed, no one deserves harassment, but maybe you should revisit if you're just aphobic or not. I'll be linking a video that talks about aphobia in a fandom.

Sun analysis !!

had some thoughts after i read this tsams confessions post about Sun and how it doesn't feel like he has bonded with his family outside of Moon. you should probably read that first bc i'll be quoting it.

so here's a bit of a (completely lowercase) rant on some of the (in-universe) reasons why i think that might be

'-seeing your entire family grieving over someone [solar] who didn't really give the same amount of love to you as they did to them'

yet sun still acted extremely upset after solar died, which is understandable, but i think has deeper meaning than just 'oh he's sad because he was close to solar (he wasn't) and then watched him die'

it could be an extension of the grieving he never got to do after old moon and lunar died

acting more distraught than he really is makes him fit in more with the rest of his family, who all were close to solar and are deeply affected

he did watch solar die so, that does contribute

not to say he wasn't upset about solar dying! or shouldn't be! it's just that he didn't really...know solar. or talk to him. they never once connected. so why would he be as upset as he is?

'How Sun just leaves, and Lunar, Earth, and Monty go off to grieve without him.'

i think this comes from how him and old moon never talked about their problems. if they felt bad, they had to suck it up and deal with it alone-- after all, you wouldn't want to burden your already stressed out brother with your insignificant problems!

sun and old moon followed that pattern for long enough that it's nature to sun now: he can't be emotional around his siblings, he's not supposed to. it's why he leaves once earth and lunar are going off to properly grief.

'When he speaks to them, he doesn't know what to say or how to respond most of the time. It sometimes sounds like he is talking to a complete stranger.'

sun and old moon were tremendously codependent. they were so close. concerningly so. sometimes, it felt as if they had zero connections outside of each other:

they spent the first years of their life in the same body, together 24/7. after that, they still live and work in the same place, once again being together 24/7. at the start of the show, it seems as if moon doesn't talk to anyone outside of sun, and that sun rarely talked to anyone else; monty and roxy, sure, but they're relationships with sun weren't great, either.

even once lunar rolled around, sun and old moon only believed they could truly trust each other. they were each other's purpose.

sun will never have that amount of a bond, or those intimate of experiences, with anyone else. sun only talked to old moon for so. long. how can he learn to talk to anyone else, if they're not him?

'-said he’s in the best mental state he’s been in a while, but sitting alone in your house just seems extremely lonely.'

old moon would get annoyed with sun easily. sun was anxious and felt the need to check up on moon a lot, make sure he wasn't doing anything that hurt him-- but moon never liked it. he got snappish.

sun and old moon's conversations went better when old moon initiated them.

sun is too afraid to try initiating affection with his siblings anymore. after all, what if they get annoyed? they have real things they're dealing with, what if he's just bothering them? not just with his problems, but with wanting to talk at all?

why even try if it'll probably end up bad anyway?

Okay so WHATTTTTTTTT ECLIPSE GOT THERAPYYYYY!!!!

I know Moon made him go but I think it actually did him a little good! I’m being actually truthful, here, I think Eclipse really considered confessing a few things, but I also might be wrong. Eclipse could definitely still be putting up an act for all this but like he’s said in previous episodes, he never actually did anything he’s hated for doing. That was the previous copy of him, he’s just a replacement.

When he was asking about how Lunar was dealing with the whole *BOOM* thing and Earth was like, “We ain’t gonna talk ‘bout that” I’m honestly kinda glad. That would’ve probably flourished into a weird, long, argumentative conversation. On Eclipse’s part, tho, Earth’s pretty chill :)

When they were talking abt how Earth was coping with seeing Eclipse explode and Eclipse was like, “Yeah, how does that feel btw? Terrible? Scary?”

and then stuff happened and it led up to him saying, “You never know when your just going to go BOOM.” holy heck I should draw that. lmao I’ll probably be drawing a lot for this ep

also at the end when Moon fricking APOLOGIZED??? HUH??? Where was that hiding the whole time??? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am so happy Moon finally said something to him, and damn it silenced Eclipse, too!

When he said, “You probably don’t want to hear it, but, I’m sorry for leaving you behind.” And eclipse DIDN’T SAY A SINGLE THING LIKE- holy moly man Eclipse I wish you actually took that relatively seriously. When that part came I was just-

ALSO when Moon said that specific line “I know you probably don’t wanna hear it, but,” we forget Sun has said the exact same thing to him before, except not him, it was Old Moon he said it to. In that episode, Sun said VERY DISTINCTLY, “I know you probably don’t wanna hear it, and I know I don’t say it often, but,”

This honestly probably means absolutely nothing, it’s just something I’m pointing it out—

Anything thing, when Eclipse first came in and Moon was like, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he was talking like he went into a dentist’s office and his kid was misbehaving. Also Eclipse is a five year old at heart and you can’t change my mind. The way he walked in and just started insulting everything and throwing sh!t around was kinda funny to me.

Also, yeah, Earth noticed he was avoiding trying to talk about himself and his problems, and she was right he was definitely doing that. He would change the subject whenever Earth asked something remotely close to his feelings or his trauma.

I have a lot more to say but I don’t wanna make this post any other than it has to be so yeah… I’ll probably post another ramble and rant post today sometime to ramble about Eclipse and lore and stuff.

OKEY HEAR ME OUT!!! TSAMS SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

I still stand by the theory that evil Sun brought back Eclipse as a distraction. And now the newer and recent episodes in both the TSAMS and TLAES made me realize something, (although I'm mostly talking about two TSAMS episodes), so lemme run you through this quick idea from evil Sun's first appearance:

So evil Sun said that he wants to create an interdimensional star technically in the What if SUN was EVIL?! in VRChat episode. Moon said good luck with that, because he can't rewrite the fabric of reality. Evil Sun then replied:

"I dont have to rewrite the fabric of reality, I need to rewrite what uses it... automatically updating star"

So... I'd like to ask the entire fandom's ideas...

Would it be possible to drain the Astral Bodies powers?

MAYBE I UNDERSTOOD IT WRONG, but technically... they are the ones using the star power. They are made out of star. And Castor told Eclipse in the Eclipse is CONFRONTED in VRChat episode, whoever made him, is not from this dimension, and quote:

"There is your hint. Stop him before it becomes a problem for me."

LIKE... I DON'T THINK CASTOR WOULD SAY THIS UNLESS HE IS AWARE OUR MYSTERIOUS ECLIPSE-CREATOR IS CAPABLE OF ABUSING STAR POWER. (He technically also hinted whoever does this is a he.) And the only person we know so far who currently could and want to do that in a different dimension other than their own would be evil Sun. He copied Moon's knowledge after all. He became aware of the Astral Bodies after meeting Moon, even though I think he already knew about them.

But let's say Moon gave evil Sun the knowledge of the Astral Bodies.

Evil Sun episode happened in 2023 december 10.

Eclipse returned on 2023 december 26.

Even though time works differently between dimensions, evil Sun is a genius, and had time to build Eclipse. And let's not forget what Eclipse said in the same episode as Castor revealing the hint:

"What makes me an individual of this comsos?....What do you mean by that? What's not copied? Everything is copied. Nothing of this body is original. I am copied off of Sun, and the memories from another, my own flesh ripped and stripped of a Fazcade Arcade machine. My very power is drawn from somebody that I don't even know! You're not staring at an individual, except somebody who wants to get even."

Even Eclipse is aware of his very own coding. He remembers who he was, and knows exactly this is not him.

Evil Sun could copy a Sun body, he could've get ANY DIMENSION'S Eclipse memories that is at least 70% same as our Eclipse's, and since he technically copies other dimension Moon's knowledge, he can know about old Moon's runes. And we all know Sun's magical powers are big. I don't think thats any different with evil Sun.

What I'm trying to say is... evil Sun has the knowledge, the power, and the reason to do all of this. Maybe it's not him, but I still believe this is the case.

Sidenote, he was collecting data most likely from any dimension he could reach, and me, as a geographer who's entire work, no matter the topic, is all based on non-stop data collecting on whatever question I wanna find answer for, or conclusion/fact I wanna make... evil Sun does everything perfectly in order to reach his goal, which is the automatically updating interdimensional star.

He collects the knowledge of the well-known genius Moon from any dimension he could reach, Sun was PREPARED to hurt Moon's ego with confessing that his genius is not built-in-code but earned with time (that's like a huge scream this wasn't the first time he did this). He transferred the data before revealing what he is doing. And he probably has a TON OF data by this point. He also called new Moon "a dead one", which technically confirmed not every dimension's Moon died. Adds more to the fact evil Sun could've copied the runes.

And by this time, I think he drew a conclusion of how he could access star power in every dimension... The Astral Bodies. Sun just needs a different dimension to test it. In order to do so though, he needs to distract the smarties there. And tbh, it scares me that evil Sun said he heard about our dimension, and he was curious of it.

Anyways that's all I wanted to say. Maybe repetitive or doesn't make sense at all, I just still wanna share this.

I don't hate the blog, but I want to stay AWAY from the negativity and toxicity of this fandom! Seeing comments about how much they hate that character or direction involving the direction of the shows makes me very uncomfortable!

I came to this fandom because I love the show, and seeing so much negativity only makes me hate this fandom! There is only drama and toxicity and that bothers me a lot!!

The way i could rant for a while abt how much I hate what they did with ruin in tsams

I love ruin

I love his design, I love his personality, I love him as a character.

However what I don't like, what I hate, what I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE, is what they did with his character arc

I hate the trope where a character is evil, has a redemption arc and them becomes evil again. I hate the trope "They were lying the whole time" and were always evil. It throws out the entire thing out the window

I like that ruin is morally grey. I hate that people are treating him like pure evil because he caused solar's death. He tried to avoid it, he did reshearch to try and avoid it but there was nothing. He possibly stopped a lot of problems.

The thing were his sun came out when saving foxy right or whatever it was, was that also acting? Was it actually his sun? It could possibly actually be his sun, being that he could've thought for that slightest bit of control. It would be amazing if they let his sun and moon come out, even though they won't have individual forms (his moon would just be bald ruin lmao).

Now, if someone hands over lunar to the creator (I'm looking at you moon), I will loose my absolute shit. That would be all of ruin's work down the drain because he did all this to prevent the creators from gaining that power. While yes the remaining creators could still always get lunar on their own, I wouldn't mind that. But if they hand lunar over I will loose it.

I also think the VAs might've seen my older theory that evil sun was lying bc they basically called us out on that so uh 💔

So sorry if any of this seems rude, I just really need a way to rant about this to the public because its been nagging me ever since. There is that anomynys confession tsams thing, but I don't wanna do that so bare with me.

I tried to ignore previous signs that mods of that blog have something against me - they either hid or deleted my response to someone else in the comments (i only said "exactly" cause i agreed with that person) and for some reason my reblogs weren't visible when I was checking reblogs to the posts..

But now.. they blocked me and idk what to think about it.. I don't remember being offensive..

I can only guess that they either assumed that the anonymous ask which broke some rules who someone sent was sent by me.. or someone reported some false accusations about me to the mods and they blocked me...

I seriously don't get it.. did I really do something?

So we got a total of four episodes confirming Solar really is a brother to Moon, Earth, Lunar, and Sun. Moon even made it clear that Solar wasn't a friend, he's a brother. Now, I'm even more bitter that I got harassed for literally and blissfully drawing canon celestial family. That harassment I received really demotivated me from drawing. And it's making me even more bitter that those harassers and their presumably "leader" blog who has a lot of followers aren't acknowledging that they were wrong and that they were spreading misinformation about Solar hating being part of the family/joking about being a cousin/being just a family friend. We didn't deserve that harassment. None of us artists and writers deserved that. Personally, it really messed with me mentally
