AU where Lena is questioned by Colonel Haley in regards to her relationship with Supergirl, with Haley certain that Lena is close enough to her by now to know her real name. Or at peast hold some clue that could lead Haley to answers.

Lena doesn't help herself any by deflecting any and all questions ("a clandestine government organization illegally detaining a private citizen without due process, not a good look for you" / "bold of you to assume a Luthor and Super share anything beyond a superficial working relationship"), which only serves to both frustrate Haley and embolden her to taunt Lena with her executive order *from the president* and the fact she has carte blanche to get answers.

Eventually, Haley breaks out the truth seeker. But to her consternation, Lena is able to resist its influence by dissociating and squirreling herself away in one of her famous boxes. It doesn't negate the physical effects of the truth seeker, but does prevent the spilling of any secrets. (Lena doesn't know Kara's secrets, but she knows a bigot when she sees one, and has enough loyalty and affection towards SG that she refuses to give ANYTHING.)

Which means hours later, after Haley withdraws to let Lena suffer alone with the truth seeker still on her arm, Alex hears a whisper of Lena's detainment at the DEO and storms into the interrogation room. She finds Lena sweat soaked and shuddering where she's cuffed to the table, barely conscious.

Haley calmly walks in when Alex demands that Lena be released and the truth seeker removed. The Colonel declines at first, until Alex leverages Lena's celebrity against them ("do you really think the president will stand behind you when people ask why Lena Luthor died in federal custody?").

In the end, Lena is released, and Alex takes her to Kara's to recover. Where Kara comes home (from searching the city for Lena, who missed a lunch date with Kara) and nearly explodes when she finds out what's happened. At this point, Alex has no memory of Kara being an alien, and she thinks Kara doesn't know that she's not an FBI agent. So she confesses everything right then and there, and Kara has to pretend she didn't know.

Kara diligently watches over Lena until Lena wakes briefly, confirming to them that she's on the mend. Only then does Kara leave, spinning into her supersuit and slamming into the DEO, radiating rage. With dozens of weapons pointed at her, she zeroes in on Haley with eyes aglow.

"Lena Luthor is off limits."

Haley scowls. "You're hardly in any position to make demands, Kryptonian."

Supergirl's head tilts, before she disappears in a blur of motion. In a blink, a pile of weapons are at her feet, and a squadron of stunned agents struggle to register how their guns left their hands.

"Think again." Supergirl's hands curl into fists at her sides. "Come near her again, or anyone else I love, and I will grind your entire organization into the ground."

"Is that a threat?"

"It's a promise."

Taking a step backwards onto the balcony, Kara holds Haley's gaze for a pointed moment, before launching into the sky faster than the human eye could follow, cracking concrete in her wake.

Funny Truthseeker image that refused to leave my mind: Wukong confronts Macaque in an abandoned building. Before he can actually get anywhere, Mei and Samadhi, fighting, fall through the ceiling with Truthseeker, who's just focused on keeping the current piece of evidence he has.

Except that Truthseeker is just MK running into the scene and immediately trying to separate Mei and Samadhi. 

He waves to Sun and Six Eared when he sees them, before going back to separating his friend and his crush. Then he does a double-take, followed by quickly telling the other 2 to scatter, since Samadhi is a criminal and Mei isn’t supposed to go after him.

(I’m considering making Mei a pseudo-vigilante, like, she goes after criminals but does it in a way where she’s not breaking any laws so even if she gets caught, there isn’t anything they can use against her. Her name would be the Green Dragon.)

The 3 of them get up in a rush, tripping over their own feet before making a break for it. They were supposed to go in different directions, but at some point they all went “screw it” and went together. They all get on Mei’s bike and ride somewhere far away from the building where they can continue the rivalry.

Neither Sun or Six Eared follow them. They’re still questioning what just happened.

OH i am so into the truth seeker au - i love reveal fic where SG and Lena are forced to work closely together (s4 writers so close yet so far) and i think Kara "losing" Alex should have absolutely been the final straw for Kara telling Lena. And just, the whole dynamic of Lena being all "i dont LIKE supergirl but damn it i will annihilate anyone who looks at her wrong what do you mean you dont believe me when i said i didnt like her." Also i am a sucker for Lena-whump so...i love it moar plz lol

So like, when Lena recovers mentally and kinda comes back to herself, she still has this acid burn on her arm where the truthseeker sat for so long, and Kara just assumes the role of rubbing ointment on it. And she's just so gentle, so careful, because it's Lena and she couldn't bear to hurt Lena any further.

Maybe one of those ointment sessions would be a good time for Kara to let the truth slip. She's focused on Lena's skin, her fingers moving methodically, and without looking up, softly confesses "I'm Supergirl."

There's a moment of silence as Lena freezes, registering exactly what Kara just said to her. Then Lena draws her arm away from Kara's touch, only to then take Kara's hands in hers, grasping them firmly.

Their eyes meet, Lena's gaze direct and piercing, but also soft. Kara imagines what she might say next, that Lena understands, a thank you for the trust. She never in a million expects what does come out of Lena's mouth.

"Why the fuck would you tell me that?"

I saw your most recent art of Ingo and Reshiram, and you said it was an au? Can I hear about it? (Only if you want too)

Sure! Thing is, I don’t have much to say about it, as it’s very new (as in not even a day old new). I called it an AU cause it was, well it wasn’t canon obviously so people wouldn’t get confused. I’m sure that as I go along, I can think of some ideas for it.

Basic idea is that somehow Ingo had befriended Reshiram before his trip to Hisui, as a Subway Boss. Maybe I’d go so far to him meeting the legendary when he was a child, I dunno.

He loses his memory, but he still has Reshiram’s ball on him (legendary powers, I suppose). Reshiram has all his memories, so he tries to catch Ingo up to speed as best he can, but communication as a pokémon only gets you so far.

Ingo knows that this pokémon is important. And he has a strong feeling, a feeling of honesty/virtue from the pokémon, which is nice because being in a place where you have no idea what’s right or wrong, having a rock like that really helps you stay grounded… in the truth (ba dum tss).

Eventually he’d get his memories more so as time goes on, leading up to the fight with Volo.

And I’d like to think that Emmet befriended Zekrom as well, and his ‘ideal’ of getting Ingo back would lead to some very interesting scenes. So if I ever did write something, it would lead into a reunion fic cause my boys are a package deal and cannot be separated.

That’s really it, you were probably hoping for more but that’s the best I got right now. I appreciate your interest in it, though! I was definitely inspired by other works that people had done with the legendaries and the twins, but I’m not sure if something like this has been done yet.

Investigation Team as Phantom Thieves AU

Been giving it some serious thought on how it would actually work because a straight swap jkdfasjkl honestly uh lmao

They’re not super rebellious. So I thought.... Maybe more of a blend of the games instead of a straight swap? Like just some stuff I’ve thought of while daydreaming-

obviously some backstories would probably need to be shuffled a bit probably? just bc.... hhhh.... persona reasons-

thinking instead of a resolve to rebel a resolve to see and seek the truth? bc jkfasdljka they’re taking their truthseeker themes WITh them into new AU land bc i don’t see how else this could work 

Which made me think in the persona awakening instead of a mask appearing, glasses (like the TV glasses) could appear but uhhh honestly ripping them off doesn’t make sense to me because they’re a lens to pierce through lies and falsehoods (the fog)

AND INSTEAD OF MASK BLOODINESS IT’S JUST THEIR EYES BLEEDING (they’re fine dw if the thieves can be okay after ripping off half their face, the team can be fine after their eyes start bleeding) 

Something something about lies being purged from their eyeballs 

Probably the resolve to see the truth is tied to either backstory, their canon shadow issues, or both!

like for yu/souji specifically it’d probably be idk him being in denial that his parents kinda suck lmao i have no idea how that would translate to an in-palace awakening- 

i’m honestly kind of torn on what to do with adachi, personality-wise it would make the most sense to give him an akechi-like role but at the same time it just seems so..... dry...... to me..... maybe bc akechi was kind of like adachi (at least supposed to be i think) as in he was supposed to not seem to be a threat Until He Was so i’m actually tempted??? to make adachi the first palace the team tackle??? 

honestly we’re kind of fusing the persona 5 and persona 4 plots together here a little probably- 

Also corrupt police detective seems like a good first step for the team to me, kind of similar to Kamoshida bc uh lmao adachi was.... not on the same level as shido.....

Angst for your new AU: Truthseeker kinda admits his feelings accidentally. Seeing a possible chance to get this guy off his back, Samadhi starts going on an tangent about his crush and how they're so much better then Truthseeker. The next day, Red's prepared to admit his feelings to MK...only to find Mei comforting a bawling MK, who admits that the guy who he likes rejected him.

At this point, I kinda keep seeing SQ as MK’s mother-figure, so I think he would go to her first(she really wants to hunt Red down, but that would not help MK). But he’s obviously Not Okay when he meets up with Mei and Red, and he ends up telling them about being rejected(he doesn’t tell them who rejected him tho) and maybe, kinda, accidentally, spills that they weren’t nice about it either.

Mei wants to skin the mystery-rejector alive, while Red is devastated that MK is in love with someone else while also angry at whoever dared to hurt MK’s feelings. Macaque is screaming in the background in absolute despair because why is the universe doing this to him!?
