'To Catch a Changeling' was the first episode where Jim actually kills someone (not counting goblins), and I've always wished there had been some kind of focus on the moral ramifications he experienced because of that.

Because there's no way he just went from being unable to kill a gnome, a creature considered a common pest, to killing a person with no afterthoughts other than: "oh man! I killed our only evidence of changelings in arcadia!"

Though I guess he could've just been doing a shit ton of compartmentalizing as well as justifying it to himself with the fact she was going to kill both him and Toby. But still, there's no way he didn't feel at least somewhat guilty.

Okay, I gotta ask, how does the grey troll inhabitants react to Cloud Guy? Does Cloud guy still appear to annoy Branch? Cuz omg canon Branch was about to stab him in the first movie.

He immediately becomes public enemy number one! Because the entire village is FULL of grey trolls who act just like first movie Branch. Cloud Guy would have a field day with them! There have been multiple Cloud Guy hate clubs created just by how annoying he could be (plus some support groups for the more traumatized victims😓) every time he appears it’s on sight for any troll who sees him (the most annoying part is no can ever touch him because HE’S A CLOUD!! ) Surprisingly he leaves the feral (trolls?) alone (they give him the Willy’s)

He annoys Branch the most. At one point for two months straight Cloud Guy would appear every day just to pull a prank or mess with Branch (plus the village) Everyone shudders when it’s brought up. Branch has tried on multiple occasions to stab and kill Cloud Guy.

(Thing (after the first prank pulled on Branch) tried to bite Cloud Guy and when their teeth went right right through Cloud Guy he got so angry he tried to bite him again, now he just growls at cloud Guy)

Haha I guess I forgot to pay the Troll Toll today.

I think the single biggest argument against your idea is that for most of the anti-sylkis I know, many of us think a major rewrite and recasting of the character would be sufficient in alleviating a lot of the issues with Sylvie.

In fact, a lot of us talk about how maybe they should've put Zawe Ashton in as Sylvie and made Sophia DiMartino Dar-Benn in The Marvels instead so at the very least we could see a couple with chemistry in Loki. I see fanart of Zawe as Sigyn a lot as well and think it would've been a lovely choice that a lot more of us would've been behind. Now, I suppose if Loki survives Loki and Dar-Benn survives The Marvels we could STILL see Tom and Zawe act next to one another, but IDK the MCU is so beyond fucked that maybe it'd be better for both of them to move on to better projects that respect them as actors more.

Back to the Naughty Nonny's comment: nawh fam, anti-sylkis aren't generally here for the self-insert portion of the program. We write more than enough Y/N-fics to make up for that. We just hate to see our God so disrespected and tossed aside for the sake of a Sue.

Also, the comics are doing come kind of Loki/Wanda thing right now that I'm, frankly, totally on board for. Loki/Wanda makes a hell of a lot of sense when you think of it.
