I'm pretty sure Li Ling knows that Tang Yun has a very... Toxic... Thing on his brother. To me it reads heavily as inc*stuous but that's due to all the media I've consumed ruining so many sibling relationships that now I'm uber sensitive to that sort of thing.

Regardless, I think we all can agree that Tang Yun is not in a healthy mindset, especially with how he obsesses over Tang Xuan.

And I put forth this theory that Li Ling is aware of how Tang Yun feels and, as such, is protective of Tang Xuan, who does not- can not- see it.

First of all, it is clear that Tang Xuan and Li Ling talk to each other a lot. Not just in person but on the phone ("communicator") all the time. We have a few stories where, when one is mentioned the other is also brought up or where one is, the other is somewhere near.

For the purpose of this theory, we will focus on the communicator, as we see that Tang Xuan doesn't necessarily text often (probably too busy for it, lmfao) but does use the social app. Li Ling seems to be the first to notice that Tang Xuan is MIA, just by the fact that he doesn't answer his calls.

Look at the time stamps of Li Ling's messages.

There are huge gaps of time between his first three messages, before Tang Xuan replies to him when he gets his phone back. And, after Tang Xuan responds, Li Ling's message comes in 2 hours later, talking about some "weak ass miramon".

Fine. Sure.

But if you go over to the social media app, you see this post from Tang Yun:

Lemme preface by reminding y'all this is my personal theory on the order of events, as this app doesn't have any convenient time stamps (:/), but I think we can assume this message comes hours before Tang Xuan gets his phone back.

Two questions pop up:

1. How does he know Tang Xuan is "missing"?

2. Who is accusing him of abducting Tang Xuan?

Tang Xuan then responds to him- maybe after he makes his "I'm not dead!! :P" post, maybe before- and after that is when he gets this message from Tang Yun:

Again, take note of the time. This is well after Tang Xuan has replied to Li Ling, about 8 hours later. I believe that in between his reply to Li Ling and Tang Yun's text, he posts his "I'm still alive!! Cx" social media post,

which then alerts Tang Yun that his brother isn't missing which then prompts his text.

Ok, we all on the same timeline now? Good. THEORY TIME.

I propose that Li Ling (Who is accusing him of abducting Tang Xuan?), not receiving any response from Tang Xuan for near 24 hrs, sent him on a warpath to who he assumes is the most likely culprit of the impromptu dissapearance- Tang Yun.

Li Ling and Tang Xuan talk all. The. Time. Li Ling absolutely knows that, in his previous mission, Tang Xuan came face to face with his brother. And Li Ling probably knows about how Tang Yun admitted to how he would monopolise the one he loves' time and attention, keep them to himself. Tang Xuan probably spared no details going through the entire mission.

Li Ling probably picked up instantly that Tang Yun was referring to Tang Xuan as that "someone he loves" and, remember, this mission takes place not even a week after the Crow one, so it's still fresh in Li Ling's mind, the words Tang Yun said about keeping his loved one to himself. And now Tang Xuan is missing...?

Yeah, I think he went straight for Tang Yun, got pissed (and probably a bit relieved) when he realised Tang Yun did not kidnap Tang Xuan, and then went off to try find him himself, taking on hoards of miramon (enough that he would miss a respond from Tang Xuan by two hours) much to the worry of Lewis and their friends. Then Li Ling tried to play it off for a bit, acting like he was just doing normal union things except Lewis explicitly says that he was actively trying to calm "everyone" down.

Calming people down?

Dude gets fired up at the drop of a pin... Except when someone is in crisis mode, and from his like FIVE CAMEOS (freaking dislyte, give us more Lewis pleaaase) we only really see him act level headed when he's with Tang Xuan and Li Ling.

So, methinks Li Ling might've tried to rally the troops to find Tang Xuan, Leora- an obvious choice as she's a living bishoujo heroine- probably got caught up in the dramatics of it, David and Q too (simple minded David just always ready to be there or be square, Q sniffing a potential story) etc etc. So they're all just psyching each other up and/or out so now Lewis has his crisis that he can take charge in and de-escalate.

Meanwhile, Tang Yun now knows that his brother is missing (How does he know Tang Xuan is "missing"?) and I can only guess how pissed off he got, his mental stability taking a swan dive into the Marianas Trench of all the possibilities of where his brother could be and scenarios where he would keep him by his side, so that this could never occur again. Hence the very aggressive threat (promise?) that he would hogtie Tang Xuan for his own good if this were to occur again.

The fact that he uses the word hogtie is very disturbing and, for those that aren't sure what that looks like, here's an as SFW-as-tying-people-up-can-be demonstration I could find of it

We are going to ignore the NSFW implications, and just focus on the vulnerability this position puts a person into.

This is the kind of messages Tang Yun sends his brother.

This is the kind of imagery he wants to put his brother in.

And Li Ling knows. He freaking knows and is probably one of the few espers who caught on that something was off with Tang Yun.

Desmond could barely hear the sound of rustling coming from somewhere in the direction of the table and Desmond wondered what Altaïr had taken.

It must have been from one of the drawers because all Desmond saw when he entered and before crawling between Altaïr’s legs were the unending paperwork Altaïr had to deal with as the mentor of the Brotherhood.

Unless it was that innocuous black box that had been placed next to the stack of finished papers?

Desmond assumed that had been some kind of item delivered by an Assassin, having seen the box since yesterday.

His breath hitched when he felt Altaïr’s hand trace the sensitive skin from his chin to his Adam’s Apple. His lips opened slightly, feeling the callouses in Altaïr’s hands against his skin. His fingers stayed by the side of his neck while his thumb lightly press his jaw, pulling it down so Desmond could open his mouth wider.

Desmond stopped himself from whimpering as he felt Altaïr’s thumb move to caress his bottom lip. He might have stopped the sound but he couldn’t stop his tongue from pressing against the tip of Altaïr’s thumb, begging for a taste.

“Ssshhh, behave, Desmond.” Altaïr said quietly and Desmond whimpered as his thumb left his bottom lip. He began to tremble at the lost of Altaïr’s warmth against his neck. His neck felt like it was on fire yet Desmond wished to chased after Altaïr’s warmth.

But Altaïr ordered him to stay still.

And he dearly wished to be a good boy.

Desmond froze when he felt something wrap around his neck.

A necklace?

No.

It felt too soft to be the metal feel of a necklace’s chain.

It wrapped around his neck, leaving only a bit of space for something as big as a single finger to curl around it.

And then…

It chimed.

Desmond’s cheeks reddened and he tried to control his breathing.

A collar.

Altaïr had given him a collar.

“Open you eyes, ya omri.”

Desmond slowly opened his eyes, momentarily unable to parse the world because of the light. It took a moment for him to see Altaïr’s expression and…

He felt his entire body grow hot as he saw Altaïr’s eyes.

He leaned against Altaïr’s inner thigh, rubbing his cheek against the fabric of his pants as he let out a soft mewl.

“Good boy.” Altaïr whispered, caressing the naked skin still uncovered by the collar. His lips curved into a small smile that made Desmond’s body sing with want and desperation, “And good boys deserve to be rewarded, isn’t that right, Desmond?”

one really cute thing that i think would stay prevelant in kylar in f! or m! would be that they would quietly ask you to cut their hair... it's really hard for them to reach the back themselves... BUT!! specifically with f! kylar, you'd both look at pinterest boards together, picking out what hairstyles would best suit her face shape!! she'd love it so much too, only because you're pressing your chest up against her back and you're so warm that she's struggling not to faint. (m! kylar is skrunkly and just asks you to cut it enough so that it doesn't touch the back of his neck)

her wedding plans are much more cohesive - rather than being a series of uncoordinated scribbles in a sketchbook - she has a whole journal dedicated to the venue (the forest), eight separate collages of different wedding themes, ideas of what you'll wear, ideas of what she'll wear—

and lloyd. who is always working towards having an easy life. who's so tired and scared and who's been hurt over and over again and who's been given the chance to get the life he wants and has been working his ass off for years to have. and he rejects it because the cost would be javier's life and that is not even an option for him. he never even thinks about it, all his attempts, all his desperation, all of his efforts were always to save his own life. because to him javier's life was never in danger because lloyd wouldn't even consider the option of sacrificing him in the first place. he doesn't even tell javier about it because he knows that javier would try to die for him (and don't even get me started on lloyd thinking javier would only do it for the sake of the estate and his parents and not for him because he doesn't realize how much javier has come to care about him and oh my god-) and he can't allow that.

Tubbo has gotta be spiritually exhausted of taking the blasts from Tommy's actions. Kuro has a bag that he carries around with him full of safe snacks and noise canceling headphones and fidget toys for all of them when things get bad in the sensory department

Keito and Souma go on morning jogs together. Kuro wants to join them but he sleeps in.

This one is technically canon but. Sleepovers at Keito's house. Souma and Keito drag Kuro out of the futon by his ankles at 6 am

Kuro has a super warm body, and Keito has the heat retention of reptile. He's almost cold blooded. When it's cold, Souma and Keito will stand closer to Kuro/huddle near him to use him as a heater. They do it unconsciously, and though Kuro notices, he doesn't say anything because he thinks it's cute :)

Kuro's sister thinks Keito is boring and lame.

In order to get Souma to check his phone more often, Keito has gotten him a virtual pet app. Souma's virtual pet is very well maintained. Kuro's is dead.

Because Kuro usually helps Keito into outfits, Keito sometimes just stands around pre-interviews/shows, expecting someone to put his coat on for him before he realizes Kuro isn't there and does it himself.

Kuro believes in the philosphy of Anything can be fixed with a good smack. He did this with the TV in the common room, and now there's a big black blotch in the corner from where he "gave it a good one"

Kuro often chews the backs of his pencils and straws, so Keito bought him a chewy pendant and pencil attachment. He worries about how much lead Kuro has consumed.

Souma shakes his head and hands to stim. He keeps slapping people with his ponytail, though.

Keito just needs to do things with his fingers to let the happy energy out, either adjusting his glasses, hair, gesturing, or stretching them.

When Keito is on his own and reading a good book or manga, he'll kick/bounce his legs to stim.

Kuro has sleep fought Souma (who was also asleep) Keito, who was in the sleeping bag to the left of them, felt mortal fear.

Keito's dorm with Hajime and Hokuto Reeks of Lavender and Sandalwood. Hokuto would Like to say something about it, but it actually isn't so bad.

Kuro listens to Doja Cat. He thinks it's neat. He doesn't understand the lyrics very well.

Keito has Banned Doja Cat from the office Playlist. He cannot Get into It (Yuh!). 'It' being his paperwork.

Souma will never know what a Doja Cat is. He thinks Kuro must be hiding some sort of feline in the dojo.

Keito is very good at baking, because he's good at measuring things and following instructions

Kuro usually goes with his gut when it comes to cooking and it tastes great.

Souma has excellent memory and recreates Niki's dishes almost perfectly.

Kuro does his sister's hair and practices new styles on Souma. Sometimes, he'll put clips and things in Keito's hair when he's asleep or intensely focused.

Kuro snores extremely loudly. It's horrible. Dad snores.

Keito will often fall asleep immediately after a performance and Kuro has to resist the urge to pinch his cheeks/draw stuff on his face. He has failed to resist on more than one occasion.

There occasions on which Souma regrets telling Kuro and Keito to include him when discussing things, because this has now extended to the pettiest of arguments. "Kanzaki, tell Kiryu that he needs to put the dishes in the sink as soon as he's done" "it's not that big a deal, danna. Right Kanzaki?"

Akatsuki photocards and promotional materials aren't selfies, but rather pictures that they took of eachother.

Kuro and Keito walk around ES with eachother non-stop. When Keito is in the office, Kuro drops and him off and picks him up.

Kuro tries very hard to get Souma in on his dad joke sense of humor. It has only partially worked.

I'm thinking about getting my ears re-pierced, so I'm doing some research on it and I found this really funny thing.

An article from a jewelry store (it's the first thing that pops up when I googled surgical steel alergy, which I am pretty sure I have) says, in the same sentence that nickel allergies (which are typically the cause of bad reactions to iron-based alloys) are very rare and then they say 10% of the population has some form of it. That's not very rare. That's 1 in 10 people. In medication side effects lists, 1 in 10 is considered common.

So, yeah, fucking stupid ass jewelry website trying to sell their stupid ass jewelry by misleading their readers/customers.

#irl stuff #jewelry #piercings #earrings #I say re-pierced because I got my ears pierced when I was like 4 #with a piercing gun and surgical steel earrings #which is actually pretty late for a girl to get her ears pierced here #most parents have their babies ears pierced before they're 1 #especially when in the early 2000s #millenial parents may have a bit more sense and respect for their literal infants bodily autonomy than gen x did #apparently people assumed I was a boy a lot because I had very short hair and no earrings #the phrase 'oh she's a girl? but she doesn't have earrings' was something mom heard more than once #so anyway at 4 the peer pressure and gender norms got to me and I got my ears pierced #queue 3 years of battling horrible eczema behind my ears because of an allergic reaction #and my parents not wanting the holes to close so I had to keep wearing earrings #I got golden ones after that which irritaded my skin much less #and then when I was in first grade I lost one earring and stopped wearing them all together #lo and behold the eczema stopped being an issue #I tried qearing earrings occassionally as a teenager #but I could never get more than a few days before the skin behind my ears became irritated again #by now I'm pretty sure the holes did close #but I'd like to give earrings another shot #I will need to do a lot more research and probably get allergy testing before I get there
