Butler Set🥂🍴

Mr.Cheshire was one of my dream critters, I absolutely can't get enough of him. Between his suit, and grey-point inspired flocking...man, is he a cutie. He was one of a few dolls I picked up when I first got "serious" about collecting. I'm glad I got him when I did, as he's harder to find now. He's easily recommended for collectors, he works as such a good background character, and even as a good pair to other dolls. His accessories are definitely unique, and limited to kitchen ware, but still a nice addition. This is a dessert heavy and, tea set building focused accessory line up. It's a great starter set for different tea cakes/puddings, plates, silverware, and different tea/coffee additions, like a honey jar. The stand out piece from this set is the cake stand and serving tray- although, the glass tableware is a wonderful addition. There's very few quality issues here, my biggest gripe is the napkins/paper, being a bit too stiff- but that is no problem to fix. The tie sometimes slips inside of his vest, but again, just pull it back out. His suit is a very nice material, and will gather dust if left uncovered- like most doll clothes and costuming including Sylvanians- just be wary. I might need to de-lint my Chesire soon, after 1-2 years of inside displaying.

I would be cautious if you where to by this for a child, considering the piece count. One doll with 25+ accessories, for around 20-30 USD before shipping, in the after market- it seems a like a bad value for a gift, considering the options in store with similar prices. Yet, again, like the Country Nurse set, it boils down to if they have interest in it, and if you can trust them not to eat small toys lmao. If yes to either, then go for it.

I still have his plastic clamshell packaging for his accessories, so I don't lose them. I don't usually display them, because I move stuff so often. I was very close to getting his canon wife, Grace, but unfortunately she sold out. I am still on the look out, but I will wait to purchase her and her set when I have more money (I like to buy in bulk to save on shipping.) I'm unsure if I received the Flair or Epoch release unfortunately.

I actually quite love his name (It's just Mr.Chesire, no known given name), and I don't know if I will rename him! I don't have the hotel (and don't play on owning it for a while), so for now he's just my local butler for hire. I guess that makes him a maid or house nanny huh...? Anyways, I think his name will stick for now. My little host club guy
