"I'd like to think a lot of people, but my mom has always told me I'm too much of an optimist." Sweet, darling Aerith, who constantly tries to see the best in people. You never know what someone is going through, how they might be at war with themselves for the things that they do. She is always willing to extend an olive branch, to talk things out, to see people for who they are rather than who they're perceived to be.

She looks up at Sephiroth from where she kneels down by her flowers, a small smile on her face. "It's a hypothetical. Everyone goes to the same place when they die, you know. They all return to the earth, despite whatever ills they may have committed in life. Maybe death is the true pardon...or maybe I'm just being a little morbid."

Aerith laughs, then stands up, brushing the dust off of her dress. "Anyways, why are you asking me? It's kind of a deep thing to talk about with someone you've only known, um...a week?" She likes it, though. She likes hearing his voice and seeing the way he thinks. Sephiroth the hero is someone everyone knows, but Sephiroth the man...she thinks she wants to get to know him more.
