My ice blue orbs flew open at the sound of my mother banging on my bedroom door. “Y/n, wake up now” she exclaimed.

I sighed, pulling on some ripped black skinny jeans, converse, and my wrath of the gods t-shirt. They’re my favorite band, if you couldn’t tell. Their music talks about real stuff, like pain and death, not the brainless pop music the rest of my school listens to. Then I swept my curly brown locks into a messy bun. I was just about to finish putting on eyeliner (but not too much like those other girls) when my crazy mom burst open the door.

“Get down stairs now you useless idiot” she yelled.

“What the heck???” I questioned.

“I’m out of drug money, so I sold you to some guy,” she explained.

Tears started to fill my eyes. This is so unfair, I thought. I stomped down the stairs, and the person standing at the end was wearing a white shirt, baggy jeans, and bracelets over his wrists. It was…Scott Tibbs?!!? The lead singer and guitarist of my favorite band? The rest of the band was there too but they didn’t really matter. “W-what are you doing my here?” I exclaimed, my jaw almost to the floor.

His brown orbs looked back at me. “I’m your new owner, sweetheart.”
