Truthfully my fics never go into it far enough of how much Holly Blue fuckin HATES Big Mama. She would be content to watch this woman die and have her insides devoured. You may ask the question of why Holly didn't just attempt to murder her when she fled from the Nexus but the answer is that Holly Blue doesn't just want to end her life. She wants to utterly destroy it. She wants to remove ever pillar and rock that Big Mama has to stand on. Dismantle her power and her resources, leave her as low as she can possibly get, then watch her try and vain to struggle back to the top.

And because of Holly Blue's efforts to do all of this, Big Mama hates her just as much. Hates her for managing an escape, for stabbing her, for convincing so much of the staff to leave over and over again, for making deals with Nexus fighters so they no longer have to fight out of desperation, befriending powerful groups of yokai by doing business with them and turning their loyalty away from Big Mama. But Big Mama doesn't just kill her either, because she'd get so much more satisfaction out of breaking her down to nothing so the wasp is once again pliant to anything Big Mama wants.

Toxic exes to the max, makes me insane, but Holly Blue tries to stay so subtle about it so it doesn't come up nearly as much as it should.

Controversial Crowley take 🚨: In modern human AUs, Crowley would NOT be a speed demon in the Bentley; he would be the slowass grandpa causing mile-long backups on the highway.

My reasoning for this:

Vintage Bentleys are rare and expensive and without his ability to miracle away damages, I’m positive he’d sooner set himself on fire than let his beloved car be dinged by flying debris. (There’s also the matter of danger to the mortal body when speeding but I’m sure even human Crowley still cares more about his Bentley’s health than his own.)

He would still be wreaking havoc on the streets because nothing, and I mean nothing pisses off other drivers more than a slow driver. One loop around town and he’d cause more coronary damage than an entire afternoon of downed phone lines. This is supplemental to his primary reason (#1) for slow driving but he won’t say he doesn’t get a kick out of it.

He would still give Aziraphale a heart attack every time they drove together because of all the furious drivers road raging past them.

So that’s why I think it would work but mostly I want modern human AU scenarios where Crowley is a physical impediment to every driver on the road.
