listen im ace and im pro kink at pride and whatever, but the way some of yall are wording your posts in response to the backlash against it is uh. really taking me back to the ace shitcourse era.
yall know theres nothing wrong with being a "virgin", right? that its not inherently shameful to have not had sex, to never have sex, even if youre not ace, even if you do want to have sex someday, like, its fine that you haven't had sex?
maybe if your problem is that theyre trying to police your behavior and shame you for expressing your sexuality, you can say that? instead of resorting to "haha stupid virgin gets no bitches" like my god. do you not hear how fucking regressive that attitude is? i know, i know, youre "joking".
get a better joke

I cannot imagine being a Damian stan right now. You've got both Zdarsky's bullshit (where he clearly doesn't give a shit about your boy) and The Boy Wonder (where Juni Ba clearly gives so many shits about your boy) coming out on the same day. The whiplash must be insane. I hope y'all get some nice warm soup for your efforts jfc

No, but it's actually so so so interesting, that Vegas isn't the first one to kiss Pete. And it leads me to believe that it wasn’t his plan to seduce Pete at that moment. Quite the opposite actually. Vegas was trying to push Pete away.
Because Pete is dangerous. He didn’t run, when he had the chance, he stayed to help Vegas through his grief, he gave Vegas’ hedgehog a funeral and even after, he didn’t run, he followed Vegas back to his own prison to keep him company. And when Vegas tried to hurt himself, Pete was probably the very first person to stop him. To tell him that hurting himself is not the answer here, that Vegas doesn’t need to punish himself for not being able to meet his garbage father’s batshit standards.
And that scares Vegas, because if there’s someone out there, who sees something worthwhile in him, then what the fuck has he been doing with his life until now? Pete is steadily showing him different options and Vegas is terrified. So no, he’s not trying to get Pete into bed, not at all. He’s being crude and aggressive, he’s trying to push Pete away and when Pete doesn’t react, when Pete calls him a psycho, he thinks he’s succeeded. He makes to leave the room, and Pete is still free to run. He didn’t bind him again, Vegas is counting on Pete running, either to get rid of him and the ideas he’s planting in Vegas’ head, OR to run him down, capture him again and have another reason to punish him, to hurt him. Have a reason to believe that Pete will inevitably betray him as well.
But Pete kisses him.
Pete doesn’t run, doesn’t let Vegas leave, he kisses him.
We can see the momentary shock on Vegas’ face. And then he grins because this is different. This is interesting. And when Pete offers him the rope, offers himself to Vegas, Vegas is a goner. Afterwards, he’s looking at Pete in such wonder that it hurts to watch.
Vegas was trying to push Pete away, but damn if Pete will let him.

I forgot I can just post random shit on here without it being an ask.
Behold: a visual representation of me, just done doing random shit to my hair because I was bored and searching a quote trying to remember what it’s from, and the Microsoft AI spitting out this bullshit at me.
Like. Like why. Why did it do that. I was running on so little sleep. It was like 2 in the morning. This was Sunday night. Why did this happen. Microsoft Edge why are you built like this.
Anyway “You are both tinder and torchbearer” goes hard as FUCK and will be sticking with me for a very long time.

Figmin XR is now a top-selling app on the Quest store and my favorite part about it finally blowing up is seeing Random Tech Dudes who just do NOT get it all:
"oh no, a whimsical environment full of rainbows, unicorns, fairies, and other stereotypically feminine and/or childish imagery. DISGUSTING. better compare this to the Vapid Youths and their Myspace pages"
like sorry you hate fun I guess??? (the person this guy was talking to responded with "this is appealing to children, who also use technology", which is the correct answer, btw)

you ever realize you never properly learned how to say a character's name, so by the time you finally HEAR it, you have no idea who they're talking about? cause I feel like I keep doing this and it's very confusing to keep being corrected like that

Had some thoughts about Luke's wardrobe in ROTJ, The Mandalorian, and TBOBF collide with this delightful post about culture and headcanons (looking at you, fantastic Korean dinluke artists) and with a decision I made regarding the Dangerous Dreams 3quelfic in the works.
The first three rows are designs I intend to use when writing/illustrating The Stars. The man needs some goddamn color and contrast in his wardrobe. The black and white robes, with and without the steel blue-gray tabard, are going to be the default. I stole Luke's TLJ look because imo it would work nicely as a disguise. The third row is for looking casual during a series of scenes at a location. And I resurrected my old Mando!Luke designs.
The fourth row are designs based on two of Padme Amidala's looks (I could not tell you from which PT movies because I have vague memories of the first two and never actually watched the third) with the goal of giving Luke some real color and shine that he can also fight in. They're not the greatest but they make great practice especially when I start designing OCs.
Next up will be Din's designs, because I've been dying to sketch out his various looks for months.

A couple of things about Limbo and Danzou, because I am constantly thinking about those two:
First of all, a possible hint at why Limbo is so fixated on her. Kashin Koji of course is her creator, and their dialogue mentions that they have a deep respect for Seimei, and not only that, their Valentine's scene brings up that Seimei was involved in the precursors to Kashin's own karakuri, and are made from the same craft. Given Douman's obsession with Seimei and need to surpass him is the whole reason he became so twisted in the first place, I doubt its a mere coincidence that the creator of the doll he's fixated on would bring up Seimei. Combined with how he found her in a helpless state where he could easily toy with her as much as he pleased, its no wonder he was quickly drawn to her and went to great lengths to hurt her so much.
The second thing I found interesting is Danzou's line for things she hates. There's no prerequisite for this line, so she's bringing it up before her interlude and heian-kyo (and apparently people were initially confused what she was referring to by the dark sun, though of course now its obvious she's talking about Limbo, that said, it IS mentioned at the very end of Shimousa, so the connection was always there- specifically the lines "He has taken in the dark god as his own personal sun, and transformed the wicked god into his own magical energy." and "Fear the curtain of night. Tremble before the dark sun.")
Anyway, I think this was an excellent way of conveying how deeply intertwined the two of them are, her story is in part about her breaking from from Limbo who continues to haunt her. This is Servant Danzou, who is based on PHH Danzou, not Shimousa's, so there's no way she would remember him, and yet he's hurt her so deeply that she has this innate fear of his symbol, the dark sun. (I wonder if the virus he implanted in her also plays a role in that...?)
Which is also why I'm disappointed Heian-kyo kinda half-assed the end of her and Limbo's entwined arc, it has a perfect lead up between Shimousa, her interlude, and the beginning of the chapter, but falls off and forgets about her for most of the middle/end. Honestly, it should have been a Danzou-centric chapter precisely because she's the one with the deepest connection (other than Seimei obviously)/most harmed by him and while she thankfully DOES get to be the one to finish him off, she didn't really do much during most of the chapter and it feels like they barely talked.

It's wild unhinged theory time folks.
This is the Empress of the Fraction. These panels are from the preview of the One Minute War Special that's coming out this Tuesday.
So here's the thing.
Her face is entirely covered. To me that screams 'this is someone you know' because why else would they cover her face? This could just be a lore detail but honestly I think the big reveal is that we know this woman.
Additionally, this is an extremely Caucasian looking person for being from an alien planet. Seriously everyone else from the planet is blue, grey or red. Why is she just straight up Caucasian? I think she's human.
So then who is she? Well (and this is meta) but the general asked for her hand in marriage. He's going to marry her when he's done conquering planets for her.
So why? Why is this proposal a prominent plot point? Why are we being set up to root against this marriage? Why is it being set up like Chekhov's Gun?
In my opinion? The General is a romantic rival. We, the audience, will be very against the marriage when we know who the Empress is because she's already spoken for.
The Empress who is a 'superior being' aka not the same species as the Fraction. The Empress with the speedforce obsession. The Empress who wants speedsters taken alive and brought to her. The Empress who is the result of 'thousands of generations of refined genetics'.... like one would maybe find in a person from the distant future.
Yes, I'm saying that I think this is Iris.
Is it insane? Yes! But come on! Iris just 'died' in the series and everyone is mourning her. Now suddenly this mysterious speedforce obsessed woman shows up? Iris just proposed to Barry. The Empress was just proposed to. It's a situation guys. This is such a cliche romantic rivals plot. Barry's gonna fight the General for her hand in marriage and possibly lose, but he'll remind Iris of who he is in the process via the power of love and then Iris will curb stomp the General herself.
Like, guys! SHE'S THE MATRIARCH OF THE FLASH FAMILY!!! And now she's literally a matriarch for a planet of speedsters!!!!
I'm not positive on the how or the why but I'm pretty sure I've got the who.
