The Solar Chariot (also known as the Sun Chariot, or star of daybreak) is the name utilized for Teyvat's sun in it's ancient history. Similar to Teyvat's moons being three sisters in a silver carriage (chariot), the Solar Chariot can also be deduced as to being either one (or two) gods in a golden chariot, similar to the greek/roman myths of Apollo/Helios.
6,000 years ago (and Zhongli is 6,000 years young) - the Solar Chariot 'fell' from the sky and created the Chasm.
In truth, the Chariot did not fall to this earth - but was piloted by none other than Morax himself.
If one pays attention to the Boatman Quests (in the CN version, as the EN localization edited some things), the phantom informs us that Morax was demoted to Teyvat from a 'higher plane' - this being the halls of Celestia. In reality, Morax is likely much older than 6,000 years, but 6,000 is when he himself took to Teyvat - so that's what he goes with.
Some involvement in the incident involving the moon sisters likely contributed to Morax's demotion. Regardless, the Solar Chariot was piloted by him - directly into Teyvat, and thus began his stay here as 'Morax.'
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT GOOSE?
Well, this says a lot about Zhongli's character. This would equate Zhongli to a Teyvat equivalent of the 'God of the Sun' even if he is (was) just an archon now. This means Zhongli is far older than 6,000 years old as well, and is much more in the know on what is happening with Celestia than he lets on. It is also probably why he so willingly gave his gnosis to the Tsarista - which would arguably put him on her side, if he had to pick one.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT YOUR CHARACTERIZATION?
Zhongli has shown himself to already be... rather out of depth with mortals and their emotions. This just contributes to it. The affairs of the people about him (despite his love for Liyue and it's citizens) are more of a blip in his reality than anything. Zhongli is a god GOD. He is imperious and holy and can be rather cruel given the necessary reasoning. He may seem cold and out of touch at times, and this is why.
WHAT OTHER REASONS DO YOU HAVE SUPPORTING THIS WEIRD ASS THEORY OF YOURS?
The Geo symbol in any cutscene that includes ancient Morax is much more sun oriented than the simple regular symbol.
Morax is like... extra glowy. Like EXTRA glowy.
There is even more lore in Enkanomiya (surrounding the Primordial One/Hesperus specifically) that supports some of these thoughts but honestly that deserves a separate post.
The old man is sus. Lets face it. He knows more than he lets on and this is one of the reasons why.
TBA.

sakusa is so interesting like imagine you're one of the best aces in the country in only your second year of high school, and there are all these expectations on you, and you live in a constant state of anxiety that you're going to get hurt or injured or be sick, or anything that will make you lose your spot as one of the best--after all, what worth do you have if you aren't the best? and you work hard and train hard and you do everything right--as methodic and dedicated as you can be--but then you watch one of the other best aces, one of your friends, lose his final shot at nationals because of a team you've barely heard of before, and you just know that that could be you one day, because there is an entire country's worth of players who want to take your spot.
and then you get to nationals and you've done everything right, you've clung to your title among the best in japan, but your team loses anyways. and you don't want to be pitied when your captain's injury was ultimately an accident and unpreventable, but you don't understand either, because you may be a realist but you're also sixteen and you lost at the thing you were supposed to be the best at. because ultimately, you were lucky. you have a great team, you have strong muscles, you have a drive to win. but who knows how long those things will last. how long can one person be the best? and you don't ever want to be pitied for losing that title. but maybe the only way to avoid others' pity and grief is to never lose.
and then you grow up and you know--for sure, now; it's something coming eventually, you know--that these things will not last forever. but you still: you had them. you worked for them, and you were strong, and you had them. everyone has their ideal games and ideal ways to go out of the sport--because eventually, there will be a last game. but if you can keep working hard, keep training, keep doing things methodically and truly and with all your devotion and dedication, won't that make it all satisfying when it ends anyways? there's nothing to pity about that ending, really, is there? when you've devoted yourself to something, when you've done your very best, when you have loved something?
aren't you one of the lucky ones? to get to do that?
and then people like. completely reduce you to being sexy and atsumu's miya's boyfriend.

my biggest frustration as a band blogger is that I want to talk about the music my guys make as much as I talk about the guys themselves but it's just so hard to discuss an audio-based piece of art through a text-based medium. every time I go to type something I end up feeling like I sound completely meaningless. like wow don't you love that one part where he ties the guitar in a knot? or when the piano starts crying and its voice breaks? or when the bass comes up through the slope but it's kind of hidden in the middle of the bouquet? how are you supposed to describe this shit

Summary:
-This is the last book of the series LIAB, please go read the other two books before this, or you will be very confused-
Zuko has been taken by the Earth Kingdom army to who-knows-where, and Sokka is determined to get him back.
But he can’t do it alone.
With Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors by his side, Sokka is headed to Ba Sing Se to find Katara and Aang so they can go rescue his fire bender.
Things aren’t as easy as he had hoped. Corruption, lies, and unknown horrors await them inside the city’s walls. None of this is helping Sokka’s mental well-being.
Hakoda and his men face a problem of their own as Azula approaches with the intentions of making it rain fire.
Sokka and Zuko will both find themselves having to reintegrate back into a life they thought they left behind, with people they hardly remember. It isn’t easy for anyone, especially when they don’t recognize the person standing in front of them.
