yeah i like ships where both of the characters are optimists, motivated, have actual goals and fulfilling hobbies BUT I AM FERAL OVER ships where both of them have no positive relations beside the other, or are living to kill the other, are an image of the other's most wretched sin, their everlasting regret, forever scarred and marked by the other in an irredeemable irreversible way, an abandoned god and their most devout follower, they want to live in the other's skin, and hunger for the other's raw flesh and blood, and owe a debt to the other that can never truly be paid, and their maker, and their reason to kill, and cannot be seperated or one of them just fucking dies, and characters who will choose each other despite everything they both have done and

I am now and probably always will be a sucker for characters that are a little ‘too good’ for the world in which they exist, and the cynical characters that can’t help to fall in love with them for it

new muriel headcanon: when they found out about 'hugs" they absolutely loved the idea and just gives Crowley surprise hug attacks when he's being all espresso depresso around the bookshop, and he's really grumbly about it (but he seceretely love's it because he's never been hugged before and he just feels so safe)

I've been reading ZoSan doujinshi recently and I don't know. Some of them have great plots (Pirate Ship Noah) and are told absolutely fantastic, but in terms of the characteristics I think their roles should be reversed bc Zoro is always the strong, confident, sexually experienced guy, and Sanji comes across as the shy damsel in distress lol. I mean I see where it comes from. Sanji in general is more sensitive and emotional than Zoro (tho let's be honest, everyone is) and he is a romantic, thoughtful, sometimes soft young man whereas Zoro is loud and boisterous in a fight, loves to be intimidating and is strong and reliable and arrogant and self-confident.
But regarding the fact that Sanji is the one who flirts with every female who can't run up a tree quick enough, and Zoro never showed interest in anyone romantically and can be seen blushing when a woman gets too close to him (e.g. Hiyori), I think it should rather be like this between the two:
I repeat, I see where the reversed characterisation comes from, but Zoro being the (sexually) introverted one seems more accurate to me and I wonder if there is fanfiction/dojinshi out there which depicts them this way

You know what I want? An almost kiss from Buddie where they’re so close to kissing but they don’t and there’s so much tension and looking at each others lips and just ughhhh that would be amazing
no i am sooooo with you, friend!!! one of my fave moments in friends (and incidentally one that i wrote a buddie fic about lmao) is when rachel and joey go on that fake date to show each other their first date moves and they have that almost kiss in the apartment and it's filled with so much tension!!! and it feels so real!!! and then rachel laughs and is like 'wow i really thought we were gonna kiss for a second' and joey laughs along but it's also AGONISING bc you know he's in love with her (like i don't even ship them and it gets me every time)
and idk what the circumstances would be but the idea of them having an almost kiss that takes one or both of them by surprise and then seeing the moment where one of them has to step back (maybe because they got interrupted or maybe because they're just not ready) and sort of smile or let out a breathless laugh????? kILL ME DEAD!!!!!!
