Hello! May I request some TFA Sentinel Prime x human reader headcanons? Some comfort ones would be nice, but general relationship headcanons would work well, too. Thank you for all of the work you do, I love your blog with my whole heart ❤️
TFA Sentinel Prime Relationship HCS
Tumblr media
Hi! Thank you for requesting! Here’s some general hcs for you (some nsfw at the end)
Honestly I could’ve done this better buuuuut I’ve been very busy the past few weeks, but I hope this is satisfactory <3 Thank you for your kind words as well!
Warnings: Relationship hcs, nsfw towards end (mention of kinks).
Word count: 1026
How you met/why he likes you:
- Sentinel met you through Optimus once he arrived on Earth with the Elite Guard.
- His fear of organics had him jumping every time you’d turn a corner and actively ignoring you whenever you were both in the same room. He didn’t make the most excellent first impression on you, but an impression nonetheless.
- You tried your damnest to talk with Sentinel, but you were met with aversed expressions and eye rolls.
- The first time he conversed with you was like leaping on a monumental stepping stone in the middle of a river rapid. Obviously, someone (most likely Optimus or Prowl) talked with Sentinel about how humans aren’t the gross, slime-puking creatures he’s convinced they are.
- Begrudgingly tries to better his understanding of you and your species through documentaries or taking walks in the city. Over time, he enjoys your presence and spends more time with you than initially intended.
- Sentinel realises he’s crushing on you when he notices his faceplates heating up every time he’s in the same room as you. His vents stop working correctly, and he is bereft of speech as his processor refuses to work.
- As ironic as it is for an extrovertive personality like Sentinel, he didn’t have the lug nuts to ask you out; you did. He may be all tough on the outside, but truthfully, he was so damn nervous around you.
- He decided to take you for a ride alone to build up the courage to ask you out, but you did it before he could open his intake.
- Over time, his nervousness fades a little once you’re both a few weeks deep in the relationship. Sentinel acts like he has to impress you 24/7. He’ll show off his combat skills for you and at least try to be nice to Optimus for you.
- “Hey, Optimus. Thanks for, uh, introducing me to Y/n. I, err, owe you one.”
What you’re like in the relationship:
- Sentinel is very firm yet gentle and will tell you things regardless of what you’re afraid to hear.
- He wants the best for you and wants to see you thrive.
- He can be blunt with you at times but not to be harsh or mean.
- In fact, Sentinels’ influence on you causes him to blush, usually when you’re dishing his crass commentary and sarcasm back to him.
- Sentinel isn’t a big fan of PDAs. The most you will get out of him whilst around other people is when you’re perched on his shoulder (secretly loves it).
- The first time you found out Sentinel is deathly afraid of cats and felines alike was hilarious. Of course, Sentinel got defensive about it.
- You decided to tackle his fear of furry critters by adopting one, a Ragdoll. Sentinel nearly had a spark attack but eventually warmed up to it and has since become attached, often finding the cat asleep on his chassis while Sentinel plays with its fluffy tail.
- When you seek out Sentinel for comfort, he’ll gladly let you sit on his shoulder and let you spill your heart out for him. He’ll nod in understanding and throw in some advice (it may not be good advice, but advice is advice) and lighthearted comments/jokes to cheer you up. He hates seeing you sad and upset and will do everything he can to keep you happy, even if it takes sitting through your favourite movies/TV shows that he, unfortunately, finds to be ‘the Cybertronian equivalent of watching paint dry’ in his words.
- “Will it make you feel better if I watch [blank] with you? I promise I won’t complain every ten kliks this time.”
- All in all, Sentinel is still learning about you and humans in general. Let him poke you, touch your hair or observe your fingers.
NSFW (18+ Minors do not read past here)
- Behind closed doors, Sentinels’ firmness and seemingly dominant nature evolve into submissiveness, which takes you off guard and leads to a very, very kinky relationship.
- He’s not wholly submissive, as he occasionally enjoys taking charge and fucking your brains out, but he does prefer if you're in control of him. It’s a sweet relief from the pressures of the Elite Guard.
- Craves your touch almost every night. It doesn’t matter if it’s sexual or he’s snuggling into you; he needs to feel you against him.
- Speaking of cuddling, Sentinel loves to be the big spoon. It gives him free access to press kisses into the back of your neck and to grind against your ass whenever he wants a specific kind of attention.
- Desperately wants to please you in any way; he’s just waiting for you to ask.
- He loves wearing collars for you, or if he’s in a dominant mood, he’ll make you wear one. And if you’re both really into it, you wear collars simultaneously.
- As ironic as it is, Sentinel is into pet play, loving when you dress him up in adorable puppy ears and lingère. He’ll curl up on your shared bed and wait for you to return from work/uni. Sometimes, he’ll get so desperate and impatient that he might grind his spike against a pillow, leaving it a mess. He knows he’s not supposed to, but the thought of you walking in and catching him being disobedient causes his spike to repressurise at the idea of his punishment.
- Is also into bondage. Being unable to move while you stroke/suck at his spike or valve makes him painfully turned on; bonus points if you edge him while bounded up. He’ll wriggle and tug at the soft leather straps and try to grind his hips up into your mouth.
- Aftercare with Sentinel is tender and thoughtful, regardless of whether it’s light vanilla or kinky sex. It will always end in a mutual massage, wiping each other clean and an intimate embrace.
- Another ritual of aftercare for you both is talking. If Sentinel feels like you were too rough with him or vice versa, you both have a quiet conversation about it and re-establish boundaries and limits.

ROSIE HOBBYING UPDATE
though,,, I've said it a few times in a few places but I'm super enamoured with the concept of having different names for different contexts though I've been bad at actually doing it and the name I'd like to use in online spaces / for people I don't know irl is Ryuuka (I know I had another online alias/name before that i streamed under for 2yrs but due to Events I now hate being called that so all 3 of u that know it that name is dead to me now please forget) so I suppose instead I should write
✨🎀RYUUKA HOBBYING UPDATE🎀✨
LONG POST INCOMING sorry if I take up ur whole dash
so I tried to search my blog for the "hobbying" tag to see what I have and have not posted recently but lo and behold,
Tumblr media
tumblr is truly the functional of webbedsites, I KNOW ITS THERE I PUT IT THERE now please show me !
except it won't if course because it sucks.
so anyway I'm gonna start typing about things and hope I get everything I haven't posted and nothing I have.
something like three weeks ago, I finally got to play a match of Warhammer 40k with my older brother! this had been in the making in a way since 2014(-ish I don't remember), when this same brother introduced myself and my other brother to the concept of Warhammer and all three of us bought models. sadly both brothers quickly discovered the "building and painting" portion of the hobby and promptly dropped out, one of them giving his T'au models to me because I LOVED THIS SHIT.
anyway I think I posted about all this before and that Match In Question wherein I took 500pts of Grey Knights (Brother-Captain, Terminator Squad, Strike Squad) against my brother's 500pts Imperial Guard (Commissar, Guardsmen regiment, 3x Mortar Crew models, Sentinel, Leman Russ)or something like that I didn't read his list. Unfortunately this battle ended with my noble Grey Knights getting summarily decimated and right tabled by the mighty power of the autocannon-equipped Leman Russ if that bastard Russ wasn't already dead I'd kill him myself
again I'm fairly sure I've posted about this before so I'll stop there and not add images.
also before I continue (to explain why points counts might seem weird to other 40kplayers) I should note that I have been and will continue to be playing Fifth Edition Warhammer 40k, because those are the books that I have. New books are hellishly expensive and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to reasonably use wahapedia so anyone who is going to tell me to play a more recent edition please kindly do one of the following;
1.) shush.
2.) buy me the books urself since you can afford it
3.) go get intimate with a cactus.
Now! about a week ago, a little less, I got to play ANOTHER match of 40k! a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. this time with a friend who has an adjacent interest in similar sort of games and who helped me build the felt-and-aquariumplant terrain pieces Im certain I posted pictures of before though I can't go check >:|
This match was again 500pts and featured both my lovely new terrain and the following armies;
TYRANIDS. >Tyranid Prime (boneswords, devourer) >3xRaveners (rending claws) >5x Ymgarl Genestealers >10xHormagaunts (adrenaline glands) >10xTermagaunts (devourers)
GREY KNIGHTS. >Brother-Captain (mastercrafted storm bolter, mastercrafted nemesis force sword) >5xTerminator (mastercrafted storm bolter [justicar], mastercrafted nemesis force sword [justicar]) >5xStrike Squad (nemesis force halberds [all], mastercrafted storm bolter [justicar])
it was great! took about 4 hours because I hadn't memorized everything yet and my friend/opponent was new to 5th but we had a good time despite getting real exhausted by the end of it there are too damn many numbers to remember
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm still super happy with how the new terrain looks!! sure it's very Amateur Hour and doesn't look ~realistic~ but I love it and am very proud of it!
Unfortunately in this match, the Grey Knights not played by me this time again tasted bitter defeat. I begin to think that list I made just sucks. or that the army needs a larger point total to make a functional list. further experimentation needed.
First blood was taken by the Knights shooting down a few(2) Hormagaunts, which was repeated in the next turn gunning down another 5 of them. the remaining gaunts took shelter for their lives behind a small copse of trees, though the Knights' Terminators quickly closed to finish their prey.
the Nids took revenge in the Genestealers flanking and stealing the jeans off the Strike Squad, without a single loss.
Finally came the crushing melee of the Raveners charging the Terminators and Captain from the cover of the ruins, slowly inflicting death (with great difficulty and losing one of their number due to those incredible 2+saves), eventually being joined by the Tyranid Prime and Genestealers in finishing off the stragglers.
the Termagants... yeah. those guys were there. they mostly just hung around. fired off 40?-ish shots and inflicted a total of 1 wound. good job guys. worth every point, truly.
Unfortunately because I failed to teach the game and remember the rules properly, this match was unbalanced, as the Terminators were not making 2 melee attacks per turn as they should've and I'd forgot to roll for the Nids instinctive behaviour rules (though the only difference that would've really made was the already useless gants running for cover if they failed)
It was a good learning experience and we had fun though!! surely we'll have a better and more heated match next time! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
that kaomoji looks kinda haunted,,
In other news! yesterday I finally took the time to get my printer in Operational Condition again! this means that, after being more than a month with only one arm, my Knight Armiger Warglaive proxy (model courtesy of u/johnbearross on reddit) is finally fully operational! catgirl very extremely excited about this one
Tumblr media Tumblr media
additionally, though I do need to print another warglaive and two helverins still, I've started on printing the bigger boy, a Questoris Knight Paladin proxy (model credits the same), something I've been excited to do for forever and the next step towards the biggest finalest goal; the Imperator Titan
Tumblr media
base and left leg printed (6h each), right leg in production (another 6h) (also I know the quality is bad because of the flash but my kitchen's lighting is awful and I promise without it looks worse) (don't mind the bag of rice in the bg, girl's gotta eat)
FINALLY, the most recent development in Ryuuka's Hobbying;
Tumblr media
MY BOYS??!??! MY BEAUTIFUL LOVELY SPECTACULAR BOYS????? THEY ARRIVED TODAY!!
bit of a story on this one, but first; I know that I told one of my dear friends like 6months ago that the next time I bought gunpla of get one for u too and we sat down and picked one out for u and everything and I didn't forget I swear but I shouldn't've even bought these boys since I have a lot of debt going on, the only reason I did is that on god man I need a distraction project or the depression is gonna Get To Me (not that it doesn't already but,) so like. When I actually have spare money instead of spending money I don't have I WILL get u that gunpla and we will build them together I didn't and am not gonna forget.
Okay so the deal with these boys is that I was talking to a friend recently about how I really like the appearance of Mass Production Mobile Suits over the special Gundam suits (unpopular opinion but I hate gundam suits' horns/crests, I think they look so so silly), in particular I love the look of the DaggerL and the Rgm-79 GM, but I really don't like the GM's helmet, I feel that it dramatically detracts from my man's vibes since the GM is made of angular and square segments and then the helmet is ROUND and also the visor is really large and open, giving it something of a 'friendly' (anthropromorphizing, I know) look that really doesn't suit the rest of it's design. In the same moment I was lamenting this design contradiction, a guncannon came on screen, which has a helmet with a narrower visor, and a- well I guess it's called a visor too but the shade thing some helmets have like a built-in imitation ballcap thing and anyway the Guncannon's head design gives it a much more 'serious' look that I feel would fit great on the GM, and the GM's more open and round design would fit right in with the Guncannon's rounded limbs and fuckoff huge shoulder-mounted cannon barrels.
So immediately in that conversation I had something of an epiphany of this and decided that I HAVE TO make a headswap of those guys and NOW IM DOING IT except what I need right now is a project so we're taking it a couple steps further
Tumblr media
I'm gonna trim these guys all out of the runners, file the nubs, label all the parts with masking tape and little baggies, swap the head parts, then going one colour/runner at a time, prime them black, paint them, panel line them, sticker them, top coat them, and ONLY THEN will I finally start assembling them
I've never painted a gunpla before but the best way to start is a headfirst dive into conkcrete babey let's get it
also I want to try weathering on my GM, nevermind that I've never tried it before and have no idea how, and each kit will be getting a different topcoat; glossy for the Guncannon because I want my boy to look like fun lil candy apple lad, and matte for my GM because I want it to be a semi-realistic Setpiece build.
also been thinking about utilizing the power of masking tape mid-painting process to add stripes of red to GM's arm&leg armour, but currently unsure if I want to follow through with the idea.
kay I think that's everything that's a lotta words I've been typing for forever it's 3am im not checking for typos I'm gonna sleep now goodnight gamers, nyan~

The first character I first fell in love with:
Blitzwing, but that should be obvious

Unknown. Instructions unclear
The character I love that everyone else hates:
See previous entry
The character I used to love but don’t any longer:
None have fallen into this category yet
The character I would totally smooch:
You know exactly who
The character I’d want to be like:
I wish I was as cool as our resident cyberninjas
The character I’d slap:
Ultra Magnus, Sentinel Prime, and Yoketron. Also Lockdown
A pairing that I love:
Megop. A franchise staple, but so fascinating in TFA specifically
(also my f/os x me, but that's for another blog)
A pairing that I despise:
Blitznut. Just not my thing. Your Honor they are BESTIES, none of this ROMANCE business!!

Sentinel Prime ALREADY has fans similar to Chloe fans. Unfortunately, it's already happened. They're a massive nuisance in the Transformers fandom; some blogs I read have had horror stories of dealing with Sentinel Prime fans. Fandom culture just has a really, really warped sense of right and wrong in general.
Not really, at least from my end. I have encountered one or two Sentinel fans who do act like he did nothing wrong and are like ml salter level when it comes to TFA. But other than that, the majority of the fandom really hates SP.

Transformers Animated!
Ooo, good pick!
The first character I fell in love with: Megatron, he's such a clever main antagonist and is one of my fave Megatrons.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Bumblebee, for the simple reason that kid-appealing, comic relief characters like him are very hit or miss. Luckily he has genuinely funny lines, got some really good backstory, and I adore his development in regards to his friendship with Bulkhead and Sari.
The character everyone else loves that I don’t: My examples are more of a case where someone obsesses or loves a character and I just find their reaction out of control or weird rather than hating the character themself. For example: I like Blitzwing, but I think some people are way too weird about their liking of him. Also that Toxitron craze that happened on this site was also something I just didn't understand.
The character I love that everyone else hates: Sentinel Prime, but more so in the sense of him as a story/plot element.
One thing I like about Animated is the sense of nuance you get. While the Decepticons are certainly not a morally good group, the Autobots aren't without their own faults. Sentinel Prime serves to drive the point home that not everything is right among the Autobot ranks. This is important both for that nuance and for Optimus Prime's character arc, and it's for that reason I like Sentinel Prime. He may be a jerk, but for me he's an entertaining one.
The character I used to love but don’t any longer: So far, I haven't experienced this yet with a character in Animated.
The character I would totally smooch: Optimus Prime and Bulkhead deserve a kiss on the cheek.
The character I’d want to be like: Optimus Prime, of course!
The character I’d slap: I may like Sentinel Prime as a story element, but he still needs to be slapped.
A pairing that I love: Two for me, Optimus Prime x Prowl (that's all @littlemisstfp's fault) and Ratchet x Arcee.
A pairing that I despise: I'll likely get some heat for this one-Blitzbee and Megop.
Blitzbee I don't get at best and find it very uncomfortable at worst. The discourse surrounding this pairing (among other pairings with Bumblebee) sure doesn't help.
TFA Megop is one of the two Megop pairings I'm sour towards and it's mainly because of bad fanfics and takes ruining it for me. It could just be me being unlucky in my finds, but for every one 1 good take I see for this pairing there's another 5 that I am not ok with. This has made me lose any interest in exploring this ship, and anyone who says they're a TFA Megop fan is someone I am immediately suspect of due to my bad experiences. There's very few people I would trust with handling this pairing. It's also for these reasons that despite liking Megop* you don't see much TFA Megop on this blog, if at all.

top 10 transformers with a humongous ass send tweet
Well, we gotta stan our ass bitches on this blog. Having said that, I’d like to specify; they really don’t give bots the plump, juicy cheeks they deserve. They either come out like Rung’s, or some flat bitches. So this is a list of 10 tf characters who’s asses are FANON yummy, not canon yummy. Having said that, let’s go.
Optimus. He maybe daddy, but dude got the ass of them Pixar moms. Mainly his TFP and RID2015 versions. Some iron buns in this bitch.
Prime Wars Overlord. You KNOW his ass is fat. Like, thicc. Full of evil. Ran out of space in his big ass hands, had to be injected right on them cakes.
Tfa Sentinel. We hate him? Hella. But dude got them legs, and that barebacking ass. There’s a reason why he’s a Magnus, and it’s not because he’s got skills.
Tfp Breakdown. Look at that unit. You tell me he doesn’t have a FAT ass. Everything about him is big, it’s essentially Knockout’s stress reliver.
Tfp Bulkhead. They ACTUALLY talked about his ass in one episode. It’s not a conveniently attractive ass (to some anyway), but that shit is F AT.
tfa Longarm. Have you seen those thighs? Dudes gotta be fucking caked the hell out. Everyone’s too busy looking at that ass to catch that he’s a spy.
Beast wars Dinobot. Aside from the obvious gif about it, dude really does have a nice ass. Like you can tell dude works out and eats some proteins. He’s in shape, and fucking violent.
Armada Scavenger. He’s just. Big. Dude’s gotta have an ass that deserves to be eaten. I will not be silenced.
Rid2015 Scowl. Look, he’s a thick boy. You can spank it, and he will let you. God may not gave her a brain, but he gave him an ASS.
Rescue bots Hightide. Do I really need to specify- LOOK at him. Dude’s huge.
tbh anyone made by @cursed-drivein-29 has some fucking cakes. Or a crotch- point if you want some juicy meat, go to them.

With Beast Wars triumphant return, as well as Cheetor and Skybyte appearing in Cyberverse, and Barricade finally getting pulled out of the bayverse, it's really wonderful to see the G1 deathgrip finally beginning to loosen.
But there are still a ton of characters and designs who deserve to be rescued from obscurity. (Mine is by no means a complete list)
Beast Era- There was just so many, that if I don't limit myself, this list will be nothing but BW. Avoiding Beast Wars US show characters because they get 90% of the attention.
Razorbeast: Was just an empty toy-only character until Furman got ahold of him and did his typical magic to obscure toy only characters. Razorbeast was the best thing from IDW's terrible BW comic.
Botanica: The first (and only serious) plant TF. She would be amazing to see expanded.
Jetstorm: Like a bad gameshow host, Jetstorm was a joy to watch in Beast Machines. He also had a brilliant design that never got justice.
Hydra: From Beast Wars Neo, Hydra was a really lonely Predacon.
Killer Punch: Also from BW Neo, he was a conspiracy theorist on the level of The Question, or The Lone Gunmen. Imagine him sitting in his mother's basement (if Destrons/Predacons had mothers), blogging on the internet about how the original Megatron was secretly an autobot double agent.
Robots in Disguise- Everyone, honestly. Y'all really need to stop the RiD hate train. But here are the stand outs (for me)
Scourge: Is much more interesting a character than anything that's been done with "Nemesis Prime," since.
Gigatron: I go with Gigatron because IMO, he was much more interesting than his US Megatron version. Six modes and driven insane to the point of each mode having a unique personality.
The Predacon Trio: Darkscream, Slapper, and Gasskunk. Skybyte makes the occasional appearance recently. He needs his troops, who were fun enough on their own.
The Autobot Brothers: Sideburn, Prowl, and X-Brawn.
TAI: The best computer the autobots have. In any continuity.
Unicron Trilogy- The biggest continuity outside of the extended G1 continuity. As usual, too many to list.
Thunderblast: Not the most interesting toy, but she was a fun character
Shortround: Dude was a toy collector. He's one of us. He deserved to be brought back.
Brushguard: A decepticon botanist who loves old b-movies. What's not to love?
Ransack & Crumplezone: One of the most iconic duos in all TF
Landmine: We need more grumpy old robots, beyond Ironhide and Kup. Also, autobot construction vehicles are very rare.
Vector Prime: Amazing given how important he was/is, at how little he's been used since. The "multiversal singularity" thing was hands down one of the dumbest narrative moves, but that's no fault of Vector Prime's.
Override: She was an interesting design, and deserves to have more done with her.
Bayverse-
Blackout: neat design and a fairly blank character
Ransack: He's a friggin' biplane!
Sideswipe: same
"Daytrader": A Steve Buscemi transformer. Another Swindle-type character. He deserves to be rescued!
Crosshairs: Fairly big personality, which is rare for a bayverse TF, and an interesting design. I'd take him before G1 Crosshairs.
Animated- Just turn TF into animated for a few more years and I'll be happy. But, in terms of moving characters forward
Prowl: What's not to love? Peaceful nature loving ninja.
Bulkhead: A clumsy, sweet gentle giant with the soul of an artist. Everyone thinks he's an idiot, but he's the best spacebridge technician on Cybertron.
Sentinel Prime: Never been a more fun Sentinel, and never will be!
Lugnut: He just kinda got dumped.
Blitzwing: Would kill to see a future Blitzwing take after him instead of the dull as dirt G1 Blitzwing
Aligned- To be honest, i hate this trainwreck as much as I do Bayverse. But there are still concepts and characters worth salvaging
Knock Out: Dude was a blast. One of the only enjoyable things in TFP.
Soundwave: The only interesting Soundwave out there, imo.
Strongarm: She deserves moving forward
NuRiD Decepticons: Unique and fun designs, all of them! Would love to see Steeljaw and Bisk again!
Bumblebee- It is small. And it is broken. But it is still good... Yeah. Still good.
Shatter & Dropkick: Very much afraid these two will be quickly forgotten about and abandoned.
Cyberverse- it did a lot of new things with old characters. But it did bring some new and unique characters to the table.
Clobber: Sorta stole TFA Lugnut's design while being an amazing new character. She's something we've never seen before- a female big muscleheaded idiot brute. Female TFs are now becoming common enough that we're starting to get variety.
Wild Wheel: Nothing about him wasn't amazing. The show was cancelled before he even appeared, though.
Thunderhowl: Like Wild Wheel, didn't show up until Cyberverse was cancelled.
Hammerbyte: same
Botcon- While under Fun Publications, Botcon became nothing but milling out more G1. But under MiB and 3H, and even in FP's early days, they did give us some unique characters.
Fractyl & Packrat: I don't think there's a more iconic set of characters to Botcon than these two.
Shadow Striker & Roulette: Shadow Striker has gotten to move forward a bit. She appeared in the movie line, which that version was then the inspiration for Cyberverse Shadow Striker, but her sister has been all but forgotten.
Flareup: She's a very bubbly and upbeat personality, who happens to take an almost fiendish glee in blowing stuff up. She's the best thing FP ever did.
Landshark: One of the most hated FP characters, and I've never understood exactly why. He'd be brilliant if he got good fiction:
Landshark doesn't know where he got his name from and he doesn't really care. Some 'bots tend to confuse it with "Landmine", but once Landshark pulls his fist from their abdomen they don't seem to get it wrong anymore. Always the practical jokester and seen by his peers as a wiseguy, he often makes light of even the most dramatic situations. Once, he had one of his power claws ripped off of his body by a blood thirsty Narliphant. Landshark didn't fret about the situation; he simply turned to Flak and asked, "Can you give me a hand?"... Flak was not amused. Able to transform his auxiliary battle platform into a hydraulic booster pack, he has the strength to wield two massive power claws capable of ripping open an enemy's armor plating. This feature also gives him the ability to cling onto or climb up almost any structure. While in vehicle mode, Landshark enjoys intimidating, and then plowing down, anyone that stands in his way.
Like I said, these are all just scratching the surface. But these are all some of my most favorites.

The Philippines is the only Southeast Asian country with a ‘free’ internet grade, report finds
In the annual Freedom on the Net report, more countries around the world were seen to be using fake news and online manipulation than ever before
Freedom House published their annual Freedom on the Net 2017 report where they assess the internet access and online censorship of 65 countries from around the world. Overall, the trend leaned towards more countries using fake news to manipulate online content and within Southeast Asia there was only one country that came out with a ‘free’ grade (Freedom on the Net gives countries a grade based on zero to 100, with zero being the best and 100 being the worst; a free grade is any mark below 30).
For Madeline Earp, the editor of the Asia portfolio of the Freedom on the Net report, which oversaw the study of 15 countries from across the continent and eight from within Southeast Asia, these overall findings – though disappointing as a whole – were not surprising.
“It [did] however surprise me that few countries improved based on access, which is expanding really rapidly in Southeast Asia,” Earp said in an interview.
One of the largest concerns that Freedom House, the US-based independent watchdog that conducts this annual report, pointed out in their findings was that though it may initially seem worth celebrating that countries in Southeast Asia are witnessing this huge surge in accessing information online and using the internet to share that knowledge, we should also bear in mind that this will likely lead to more opportunities – as this report shows  – for people to be arrested and imprisoned for their online activities.
“That’s a really worrying development, and shows how laws that undermine free speech can be abused to offset the benefits we associate with accessing the internet,” Earp added.
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines are all the Southeast countries profiled in this report. Beginning with the countries that fared the best, we asked Earp to take us through each Southeast Asian country assessed and discuss some of the more interesting findings from each region.
The Philippines:       Score: 28 (Free)
The Philippines received a grade in the Freedom on the Net report that granted them the distinction of being the only Southeast Asian country with ‘free’ internet (marks that were between zero to 29 were considered to be free and the Philippines barely scraped by with a grade of 28).
But despite this singling out, the research analysts at Freedom House found that the Philippines – among 30 other countries in the report – were one of the worst offenders when it came to manipulating online content through paid sponsors of the government. These people act as organic voices online, but are in fact paid ‘opinion shapers’ of the government who are working to spread agendas, particular points of view or even completely shut down the opposition.
Earp used the success of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s presidential campaign in 2016 as a shining example of just how influential these social media ‘opinion shapers’ can be.
Though Duterte had a smaller budget to work with than his opponents, he directed most of these funds towards social media campaigns, people who came to be known as a ‘keyboard army’. The report described how members of this online army could earn anywhere from $10 to $60 a day for operating one of these fake social media accounts.
“Clearly, online information in Southeast Asia can have a massive reach, which is positive,” she said. “But,” she added, “there is a real need for digital literacy and security training to protect people online and help us all identify and overcome invisible influence operations.”
Singapore:     Grade: 41  (partly free)
Though Singapore’s status is temptingly close to being considered free, falling short by only 11 points, Earp believes that things are expected to only get worse for online expression in a city-state already known to have very little press freedom.
“While activists from grassroots campaigns were early adopters when it came to digital communications, it’s clear that governments are catching up,” she said. “Authorities in countries with extensive press controls like Malaysia and Singapore, for example, are exploring ways to regulate digital news platforms, too.”
Examples of this increased regulation can be seen playing out in cases like the one of teenage blogger Amos Yee, who was sentenced to six weeks in prison for his online criticism of religious groups. And then again with the founder of the site the Real Singapore, who received a ten-month sentence for arousing what the court characterised as racial sentiments on his site.
As it stands, Singapore has no right to privacy and it is commonly accepted that even your private conversations on the internet can be monitored by the government, the report found. One analyst from the UK was quoted in the report as describing the current state of affairs as such:
“Few doubt that the state can get private data whenever it wants.”
Malaysia:       Grade: 44 (partly free)
Malaysia had an overall score of 44 out of 100 and though that makes them to be considered to be partly free when it comes to internet freedom, their scoring for internet freedom has been generally on the decline since 2011 when they had an overall score of 41.
What spared the country this year from falling even lower in the ranks was their ability to improve overall internet accessibility, with both internet penetration and internet speed increasing significantly in comparison to previous years.
“The only Southeast Asian country that registered an improvement this year was Malaysia, and that was specifically because of expanding access,” said Earp.
However, despite this ‘improvement’, Earp believes this is hardly an occasion to begin celebrating Malaysia’s net freedom.
“Dozens of people still face criminal charges for online speech, and the government censored news reports about corruption for the second year running, though it had pledged never to censor the web—so it’s hardly a resounding success story.”
The government didn’t offer any new blocks on websites or blogs, but they do continue to have a ban on popular sites from posting content related to Prime Minister Najib Razak’s corrutption scandals. For instance, popular international sites like Medium,Sarawak Report and the Asia Sentinel remain blocked for Malaysians as of 2017.
Internet users, more specifically ones who post criticisms of the government on their Facebook page, are commonly arrested and prosecuted for online speech. During the time that the report was filed, at least one person in Malaysia had been sentenced to one year in prison. Muhammad Amirul Azwan Mohd Shakri, 19, is serving out a one-year sentence for 14 counts of posting to Facebook with comments that were critical of the Sultan of Johor.
There is concern, the report warned, that for the upcoming 2018 election there could be an increase in the cracking down on internet freedom, specifically for online voices who may decide to take a critical stance of the government.
Indonesia:      Grade: 47 (partly free)
Internet freedom is important everywhere, but within Southeast Asia, Indonesia could prove to be one of the world’s most important users of the world wide web, as they are set to be the fourth largest online user by 2020.
There are currently 43,000 online media outlets in Indonesia, which has lead to a decline in the standards of online news reporting and a tailwind rise of fake news. Most of the focus of this fake news reporting has been targeted at ethnic and religious minorities, with the overarching goal being to legitimise their existence.
‘The Ahok effect’ was an unfortunate trend from Indonesia that stemmed from the arrest of a Christian governor who had been allegedly misrepresented in a viral video that showed him slamming Islam. Following his arrest, many right-wing groups began to congregate online to harass and, in some instances, take their harassment offline against people who they perceived were insulting Islam on social media.
“In Myanmar and Indonesia, for example, fake news reports targeted religious and ethnic minority groups in spite of official efforts to curtail hate speech.” (pull quote)
As a reaction to this ‘Ahok effect’, the government took measures to decrease internet freedom by amending the Law on Information and Electronic Transaction (ITE), which ultimately empowered officials to block online information and punish people for online defamation. This law failed to curb online manipulation and defamation, but did lead to a number of long detentions and prison sentences that have been widely criticized.
Cambodia:     Grade: 52
Cambodians are growing to rely on the internet as one of their main resources for receiving news, with some people saying they were more likely to consult the internet before other traditional news outlets, the report found.
Considering the large number of traditional media outlets who are influenced or entirely controlled by the government, the country’s pivot to the internet does point to a positive shift. But Earp warns that countries, specifically like Cambodia, have also witnessed the internet being used to enhance smear campaigns and the spread fake news.
“[In Cambodia], supporters of both the ruling and the main opposition parties have been accused of sponsoring online support and smearing their opponents — although the long-ruling incumbents obviously have significantly more resources to suppress their opponents.”
Some major developments from the 2017 report found that the personal information of politicians were leaked, of both the ruling and opposition party, in these smear campaigns and two opposition politicians – including former opposition CNRP leader Sam Rainsy – were sentenced to prison for content that was shared on Facebook. Rainsy, who currently lives in self-imposed exile in France, was found guilty for a Facebook post that questioned the validity of the number of genuine ‘likes’ Prime Minister Hun Sen’s Facebook page had receieved. And opposition Senator Hong Sok Hour was sentenced to seven years for posting a ‘fake’ border treaty between Cambodia and Vietnam on Rainsy’s Facebook wall.
Various forms of intimidation and violence against journalists and activists online was seen to be in keeping with the country’s clampdown on independent media, the report found. Hacking was a widespread problem throughout the time period assessed, and the death of activist Kem Lay underscored this trend after he was murdered following the comments he made that criticised the government of corruption.
Myanmar:      Grade: 63
The third country from Southeast Asia to be given the ‘not free’ grade was Myanmar; a ranking that Earp said was one of the greatest letdowns from the entire report.
“Internet freedom in Myanmar declined in the first year after the election of the NLD [National League for Democracy] – that was a big disappointment,” she said.
“The number of people arrested for online speech shot up, and the government urgently needs to reform the Telecommunication Law to stop it from being used as a tool to jail journalists and ordinary people who express their opinions on the internet.”
Contributing to their not free grade was an upshot in prosecuting people for online speech – at least 61 people have been prosecuted under the new administration – and five even ended with prison sentences of up to six months.
In addition to all of the traditional affronts that a country with a low-ranking internet freedom would posses, that is censorship, manipulation of the media and violation of rights, Myanmar also faces an uphill battle when it comes to confronting obstacles of accessing the internet.
Though they have seen extraordinary growth in recent years for internet penetration, they still rank among the world’s lowest. Part of the reason behind this is inadequate infrastructure, which is further compounded by a high rate of poverty.
But Earp warns that, just because a country is witnessing an increase in internet penetration, it does not mean they will be considered ‘freer’.
“Even countries like Cambodia and Myanmar, where internet penetration is seeing extraordinary growth, did not improve overall, essentially because as more people access information and communication technologies, more people are arrested and sentenced to prison for comments on social media.”
Thailand:       Score: 67
Thailand, it was shown in the report, continues with its downward spiral, a trend that began in 2014 after the junta takeover. In 2013, they had actually achieved a grade of being ‘partly free’ (60), but have consistently been violating rights and increasing censorship since the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej in October 2016.
“When we see restrictions play out in an actively repressive environment as part of an agenda to maintain power, the consequences are severe,” Earp said when commenting on the “tremendously troubling” developments in Thailand.
In one of these developments, politicians and government officials were encouraging citizens to report ‘unpatriotic content’. For instance, there was a senior police official who was publicly recruiting people to act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the state and was awarding them with $15 for reporting their findings.
Freedom of access continued to be undermined, and at least three people have received prison sentences of more than a decade for their online activity.
But what Earp found to be one of the more paradoxical findings from the report on Thailand was a new legal amendment, which governments in the UK and Hungary have also proposed, that could see end-to-end encryption being undermined.
“It’s striking that some European governments who should be pushing back against the Thai authorities actually appear to be using the same playbook,” she commented.
Vietnam:        Score: 76
Vietnam received the worst score out of all the Southeast Asian nations assessed, and possibly more concerning was that they came close to par with the much larger nations of China and Russia when it came to online censorship, both of whom have far more resources to dedicate to online content control.
In the time period that the report assessed Vietnam, there was an intensified crackdown on bloggers and critics of the government, seen most severely in the ten-year prison sentence that was handed down to ‘Mother Mushroom’, a blogger and activist, in June of this year.
Part of the reason why Vietnam is tightening up on measures against bloggers and social media activists is due to the strict rules that online editors, journalists and producers must adhere to when distributing their content online.
These rules for publishers, the report found, had not improved. All content must pass an in-house censorship test and then be submitted to a party committee who provides detailed instructions of what can and cannot be reported on.
But despite its bleak outlook, Earp believes that the current climate for online journalists and bloggers in Vietnam is still better than those of traditional media outlets.
“Someone using the internet will still generally have an advantage over a professional journalist in terms of their ability to share information freely,” she said.
This favouring towards the internet, she remarked, was a trend seen across Southeast Asian countries who had alternatively scored rather poorly on the Freedom of the Press report.
A downward trend
In all, both the report and Earp did not reverberate a positive outlook for the path ahead, particularly where it concerns Southeast Asian countries that will be seeking to conduct elections in the next few months.
“Democracies and authoritarian regimes alike are introducing broad restrictions on internet freedom, ostensibly to protect citizens. And the message from Southeast Asia is that the scope for abuse is huge,” she said.
For things to improve, she says, the responsibility is initially going to fall on the individual. Where governments may fail to enforce standards, specifically as it relates to the spread of fake news and online manipulation, the person reading the news may have to exercise an extra level of caution on accepting what’s true and what’s false.
“The global community needs to be extremely vigilant about protecting internet freedom right now,” Earp warned. “Particularly in the face of content manipulation, terrorism, hate speech, and other trends that are leading governments to try and undermine encryption or limit free speech.”

got tagged by @darksidekelz
Rules: choose any 3 fandoms (in random order) and answer the questions, then tag 10 people you want to get to know better
Three fandoms:
• Transformers
• Overwatch
• Team Fortress 2
The first character you loved:
• Starscream from TFP. Whenever that guy was on screen you KNEW he was going to mess everything up and create unnecessary amounts of extreme drama!
• Reaper. I really enjoyed his design and I was in love with the idea of his dual shotguns - my favourite gameplay involves walking around with a shotgun, and to have TWO??? I was hyped.
• Medic! Watching his short was what got me into the game, but I learned to love all of the mercs!
The character you never expected to love so much:
•Shockwave. I didn’t know him before getting into the fandom but once I did I just fell in love. His character offers so much that can be reworked, changed, and tweaked, and he is fun to write without exception! I also enjoyed how he pretends to be emotionless, only to have some of his decisions be 100% emotionally driven
• I like Zenyatta a lot. Just.... the idea of this peaceful monk-inspired character floating around and breaking noses with his hard metal balls. It cracks me up ! xD
• Oof this is a tough one. I think Miss Pauling. As one of THREE whole women that feature in the comics, I was expecting her to be the ole ‘scatterbrained, naive, innocent little girl’, but she is just as badass as the mercenaries - though her job is different.
The character you relate to the most:
• Shockwave and Swerve have a tie here actually. Swerve is relatable because of the troubles he faces in making friends and actually talking to them as opposed to making jokes and trying to be funny/interesting. Shockwave is mostly someone I’d desire to be for his unflappable confidence in himself, and his ability to just go on ahead and do what he wants.
• None of them. Overwatch characters aren’t deeply interesting to me, and there’s not one of them that really grabs me as relatable.
• PYROOOOOO! I don’t enjoy showing off my body or my face, and a mask can be freeing in that regard. Pyro is happy and kickass, and since nobody knows their gender they have a wide variety of feminine and masculine taunts that are all enjoyable and theatrical!
The character you’d slap:
• Sentinel Prime from TFA. He’s just such a dick, so unnecessarily! Just practice some decency you cretin!
• DVa. I like her in concept, but in practice she just irritates me. Her characterisation in fanfic ranges from ‘whining baby gremlin child’ to ‘epic memelord millenial lol bruh’. Just not my thing.
• I’d probably slap Spy. I WOULD slap Soldier, but I think he would actually kill me, and Spy would at least do it in my sleep and be more of a gentleman about it. Actually no - I’d slap Engineer. I hate his gameplay, I hate his sentries, and he’s the least interesting character outta the bunch.
Three favorite characters, in order of preference:
• TFP Starscream, Shockwave, Swerve.
• Reaper, Zenyatta..... nobody.
• Pyro, Spy, Medic
A character you liked at first, but don’t anymore:
• Drift in RiD2015. Though to be fair, I liked him for about 5 seconds and then he opened his mouth and I was like “God please no”. I really wish that they could have done something better with him.
• Uhh... I liked Roadhog for a little while there, but it didn’t last long at all since all of the fanfics made him one of those “I never tell anyone what I think, the only people who get to be my friends read my mind.”  characters which was not my thing.
• I used to like the heavy, but gameplay-wise he’s so out of his league in tf2. His gameplay is boring and slow, but hard to master because everyone and their dog is like 5 times faster than you are. No amount of health or damage can make him fun to play again. Also, when compared to the other characters, his voicelines are forgettable.
A character you didn’t like at first but do now:
• Miko. I kept expecting her to begin whining about boy-things or school projects, which would lead into a full human-themed episode where the bots would help them with paying baseball or some inane shit. Instead, Miko’s reckless attitude was singlehandedly responsible for some great and interesting episodes!
• Nobody.
• I didn’t like Scout. Actually I still hate playing against Scout because he’s FRICKIN ANNOYING but I really enjoy how his character and gameplay complement each other. Both in game and in voicelines, he’s a cocky little shit with a grating voice.
Three OTPs:
• I don’t have OTPs.
• Reaper and Soldier 76 I guess.
• Spy/Sniper, Medic/Heavy.
I am NEVER going to tag ten people.  @bobateebrek You up for a blog game?

Plot Bunny Dump: Star Trek XI
This is a post on my old blog. Originally published Jul 12, 2012.
I hate when my plot bunnies just decide to reproduce like, well, bunnies! I couldn't care for them all so I’m putting it here for adoption if anyone cares for one.
The 2009 Star Trek movie gave me a great big kick. I got a couple of bunnies popping up in this fandom.
Warning: Highly K/S, but not necessarily
The Kirk-has-kid fic:
(For this bunny, I’m actually using the edit I posted on K/S archive)
Summary: During the second year of the five-year mission, Kirk was contacted about an illegitimate son he didn’t know existed who would be transferred to his care on the Enterprise. It’s one thing to fight off Klingons and Romulans. It’s another to have a fight at home.
Detail:
After Jim drove his father’s car down the cliff, Winona Kirk finally took notice of her family problem and came back to divorce Frank. In the meantime, Jim was sent to Tarsus IV to stay with his relatives. The famine struck, and Kirk and a bunch of kids stuck together to survive. He got attached to one older girl who took care of him at the time. They were together for a while before they were saved and separated once got back to Earth. Jim was sent back to Iowa without a chance to tell her where he was going, and they never saw each other again.
Jim only knew that he fathered a son with her on the second year of the five-year mission when Starfleet contacted him that she had died. Without other relatives, the boy was sent to his father on the Enterprise and the drama ensued. Jim tried to be a father when he never really had one. His son, with a deep grudge against his father whom his mother loved and worshipped but was never present, took every opportunity to throw it at Jim’s face that he had abandoned them. Spock tried to be a mediator and ended up with the boy kind of hero-worshipped him and his Vulcan coolness. Add that on top of life-threatening missions and a tension between Kirk and Spock that they never thought of exploring, until they were forced to raise a child together.
Notes and Bonuses: I kind of see Jim’s son as the angrier version of ten-year-old-something Jim Kirk with Jim’s IQ and all that, but I’ll leave it to the writer’s discretion on how much of a troublemaker he’s going to be. I don’t think he actually hates Jim, he’s just kind of jealous that his mother loves Jim (ahem, giant Freud alert!) and is angry that Jim was never there for her. So, bonus if he is the first to realize that there is something going on between Jim and Spock, and he disapproves at first because he doesn’t want Jim to forget his mother just like she had never forgotten about him. Another huge bonus for a happy ending, please. Note 2: Just in case you're wondering what to do with Uhura. I never think she and Spock are in a romantic relationship, although they are obviously attracted to one another because: (1) during the Academy years, Spock would have been her instructor. I don't think his moral code would allow them to overstep the bound. (2) he would have made clear to her after Narada that he intends to join the New Vulcan colony. They would have agreed to go their separate ways if she shows up on the Enterprise for its launch. (3) once he joins the Enterprise, he would be her commanding officer. Again, I think Spock would find it inexpedient to initiate a relationship with her. Of course, the writer can play with their friendship or chemistry as much as they want. :)
The Dystopian AU fic:
Summary: In an alternate reality, Terran civilization collapsed before the invention of warp-drive and the First Contact never occurred. Cities disintegrated in chaos and centuries later what was left was settlements of humans, now mostly nomads and farmers, scattered across the world with only a glimpse of the world that came before.
How will Kirk and Spock find each other and save the Federation from a crazy time-travelling Romulan, then?
Detail: Earth was labelled a loss after a global collapse and the Federation rarely paid attention to the contacts made by aliens who try to reap resources and capture human for slave-trade. The incidents were few enough for them to be the stuff of legend for the human struggling to survive in the aftermath.
Jim Kirk of Iowa was out in the field with his sheep when a gang of alien tried to abduct him. He was saved and brought back to the Enterprise, a sentinel ship protecting the Earth, by Captain Spock due to the violation of the Prime Directive. Without anyone else in his family (Father, died since he was young, Brother died in Texas IV, Mother died from illness a few years earlier), Kirk agreed to join the crew, which consisted of aliens but mostly of human Spock has saved from all around the world.
In this universe, Starfleet actually comprised different fractions based on their home planet and thus was quite fractured, more like a group of mercenaries under than an actual organization. Spock was under the Vulcan Fraction but was at odds with them due to his mixed heritage and his fascination with his mother's people who were now regarded as backward. Against his father's wish, he proposed project Enterprise (christened by Amanda) as a collaboration between the Vulcan Fraction and the Vulcan Science Academy so he could spend time studying and protecting Earth from orbit.
Kirk is directly trained under Spock because of his aptitude in logical thinking and computation. Kirk also had a fascination with the Time-That-Has-Gone-Before and liked to spend hours with Spock's personal book collection salvaged from Earth. After a close friendship with Kirk, he started to see the human's potential in command and later appointed him First Officer.
After things start to settle down, they were called back to Vulcan because of Nero's attack. The Vulcan Fraction lost to Narada's superior technology. They, however, managed to save a small group from the planet, but not Sarek whom Nero captured because of his status in Starfleet and Amanda whom Nero psychically broke and killed to spite Spock. Unable to save his mother, suffering from his broken bond with T'Pring and a psychic back-latch from an entire planet being destroyed - Spock became unstable and transferred his command to Kirk but not before he managed to relay an order to aid every Vulcan survivors in all surrounding planets.
Because of that order, Chekov found a life signal on Delta Vega belonging to an elder who seemed to know Kirk. He told Kirk of Nero's intention to destroy all Federation planets and that he would destroy Earth despite the fact that Earth was not a member of the Federation in this reality. With that information, Kirk, against all orders from the Federation, took the Enterprise to Earth to stop Nero and saved Sarek.
I didn't have much idea on how it transpires between here and the end where Spock gave Kirk permanent command of the Enterprise while he decided to join the other survivor and rebuild their race. Kirk, of course, convinced Spock that the Enterprise and Earth needed him more than the Vulcans. Spock was finally convinced to stay with the people that had now become his family and took the position of First Officer.
The MPREG fic (Yes, I've Been There):
Summary: Kirk and Spock went on a mission with the result of Kirk getting an alien uterus and a fetus with his and Spock's combined genetic. With Spock wanting a child, Uhura reluctantly agreed to her boyfriend's suggestion of co-parenting between the three of them. However, as time went by, she started to feel the rip in hers and Spock's relationship and a beginning of Kirk's and Spock's.
Detail: I don't care much about how the pregnancy is made possible, only how they deal with it. McCoy wasn't happy for medical reasons. Uhura wasn't happy because she wasn't ready. Spock wanted a child because his race was diminishing, and Kirk wanted to make Spock happy (in a non-romantic way, at first). But due to the different biology between the carrier, the uterus, and the baby. The pregnancy was complicated and their daily lives changed to accommodate. Although she agreed with the co-parenting term, Uhura soon started to realize that she didn't feel a connection to the baby while Kirk and Spock started to behave more and more like a couple. She also learnt from Kirk in one of their rare private camaraderies during the pregnancy that Kirk had fallen in love with Spock but was not planning on doing anything about it because he respected hers and Spock's relationship. Uhura started to have doubt in her own feeling soon after when she spotted Spock attempting a telepathic communication with his unborn child while Kirk was beaming and realizes that she didn’t really have a place there. When Kirk had to go through preterm birth and was isolated, and Spock was almost driven crazy both because of Kirk's condition and his need to telepathically bond with the child. Uhura confronted Spock about his feeling for Kirk and encouraged him to explore it (she had seen it coming months before after all; she had lots of time to prepare for this). She remained the third parent according to their agreement (and maybe finding comfort in McCoy?), while Kirk and Spock started to build a family.
The Real Reason Kirk Can't Sleep Alone:
Summary: Kirk didn't like his bed empty. Spock just assumed it was his captain's libido. That was until one diplomatic mission put Kirk and Spock in the same room that he realized Kirk's problem ran much deeper and attempted to help.
Detail: After Tarsus IV, Kirk was traumatized because a friend of his died during the night that he developed a fear that everyone might just drop dead while he slept. He dealt with the problem by either exhausting himself, getting drunk or bedding somebody so he had a warm body to hold and feel safe. On the ship, he often resorted to Bones' sedative or cuddled with the man himself (they were best friends after all). It was never a problem to his ability to command as long as he had enough sleep. Spock, only aware of Kirk's reputation with women and his frequent visit to the Doctor's quarter, assumed all along that it was just Kirk's sexual appetite until they went on a diplomatic mission together and Kirk's problem started to make itself known. (He was really stressed and really needed a cuddle, and McCoy wasn't around to help.) Upon learning about the true nature of the problem, Spock offered to cuddle with Kirk. They took the practice back to the Enterprise which soon turned into intimacy, and, of course, McCoy was always the first to know.

Hi first off love your blog! Second, could you write about Sentinel Prime x ultra magnus. This crackship and sentinel prime x megatron, give me life. I just like sentinel getting the short end of the stick that lovable Bastard
Alright, I’m going to take a crack at the crack! First little ficlet in a while, so bear with me.
“Will Sentinel Prime please report to the bridge?” Ultra Magnus said into the ship’s communication system.
Sentinel Prime checked the mirror before proceeding to his commanding officer’s location. He just needed one thing. There was a canister of Sparxe Chassis Spray on his desk, and he picked it up and doused himself in the, um, masculine-smelling fragrance.
Sentinel would never admit this to anyone, but he really admired Ultra Magnus. Like, he REALLY admired him, if you know what I mean. He was hoping that maybe today would be the day that Ultra Magnus would profess his love for him and take him to his berth and one day they would become conjunx and… well, maybe just a date first. He was lucky that he even got to work this close to him.
He proceeded to the bridge of the Steelhaven, where Ultra Magnus was sitting in the captain’s chair. “Sentinel Prime, how are you feeling today?”
“I’m fine, Commander,” Sentinel answered in his usual macho tone. He was good at keeping his true feelings under wraps.
“Glad to hear it,” the Autobot leader answered. “You are one of my favorite subordinates, and you have an amazing aptitude for leading.”
“Thank you, Commander, sir,” Sentinel said, a little flustered. “Were… you going to ask anything of me?”
“No, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you,” Ultra Magnus informed him. “You can go on your way now.”
“I – thank you, Commander,” Sentinel Prime said before exiting the bridge.
“Magnus’ log, stardate 43125.8. Sentinel Prime is a promising candidate for the role of Magnus,” Ultra Magnus said into his recording device. “I hate to see him leave, but I love to watch him go.”

Verses & AUs
It’s kinda long so there’s a read more to clear up the dash.
Also, more verses will probably be added as time goes on.
Eobard Thawne:
Elseworlds AU: Instead of Barry becoming the heroic Flash when he got his Speed Force powers and Eobard becoming the villainous Reverse-Flash when he got his powers, the opposite happens. Eobard is framed for the murder of Nora Allen by Zoom, a Speedster from Earth-2, and Barry seeks revenge while Eobard races though time to try and stop Zoom and The Flash.
Springtrap:
Pre-Spring Lock Death Verse/The Purple Guy Verse: As the name of this verse states, this takes place before William Afton’s death a few months after the end of FNaF1 but takes place quite a bit after FNaF4. Teddy Afton is dead, Michael Afton is living with his mother, and the Funtime Animatronics have yet to be finished. William himself is in his prime and can keep his murders hidden.
Pre-Five Nights at Freddy’s 4/Family Man Verse: Taking place some amount of time before the events of FNaF4, William has yet to snap but his cracks are still there. His marriage is falling apart, Michael is lashing out at his younger brother Teddy, and Elizabeth is picking up dangerous habits from her father. The only light of his children’s lives is the daughter of William’s friend, Charlotte.
SCP Foundation AU/Right Where he Belongs Verse: Following various incidents and reports of a strange mechanical rabbit roaming the wilderness of Utah, the SCP Foundation decided to investigate and came across Springtrap. Now, he’s locked up in one of their facilities and away from the outside world. But that doesn’t mean he’s safe from his past.
Haida Hikaru:
Human AU: Everything’s exactly the same except everyone’s a human.
Katia Managan:
Human AU: Much like Haida’s Human AU, everything’s the same (including time period) but Katia’s a human. The other Elder Scrolls races still exist though.
Black Heart AU: In this verse, Katia’s still apart of a cult that worship the Daedra but isn’t all that involved in what they do or want.
Kris Dreemurr:
Deltaswap Verse 1/Big Brother AU: Instead of Asriel being the older brother, Kris is and he went off to college first. Despite that, Kris would still come to know the people he would in Deltarune (Susie, Noelle, Catti, Monster Kid/Teen, and Berdly). But in this AU, Kris ends up in the Dark World with Susie after they ended up in an abandoned apartment following Kris discovering Susie attempting to steal something and running across a strange door.
Deltaswap Verse2/Mean Boy AU: In this AU, Kris takes on the role Susie had in Deltarune. That’s it.
Deltapocalypse AU: Based off of the AU created by this blog, zombies have overtaken the world. Kris is a survivor just trying to survive. He doesn’t know if anyone else is alive, but he hopes that his friends still are.
Leon S. Kennedy:
Rookie Cop AU 1: In this verse, Leon was able to get to become a rookie cop in Raccoon City early. But this proves to be a detriment to him as he is stuck inside the city as the T-Virus is spread around by zombies and rats.
Rookie Cop AU 2: Much like the first Rookie Cop verse, Leon gets to become a cop in Raccoon City and things go well. But, Ada Wong, now working as an actual FBI agent, is able to bust Umbrella’s operation before the G-Virus containment breach and Leon gets to become a full fledged cop.
Doomslayer:
Post-Demonic Invasion of Argent D’Nur/Knight Sentinel Verse: As the name implies, this verse takes place before the Demonic invasion of the Slayer’s home reality, Argent D’Nur, and his family is still very much alive. He will only be called “The Sentinel” and nothing else.
You Are What You Hate AU: In this verse, following the destruction of the Slayer’s Night Sentinel armor, the Doomslayer is forced to find someone to make him new armor to survive the forces of Hell. He was able to find a Demon who was willing, but it would cost him, he would have to trade his life as a mortal man in for a life as a Demon. That was a price he was willing to hate, and now he is called “The Hell Walker”.
