3. three songs you were recently obsessed with -fucked up by racoma -car lights by james marriott -iris by goo goo dolls
OUGHOGUHGOGHOGHOGUHOGUHOGGHOUGHOGUH i have been looping these three SO MUCH LATELY along with allez les blues by los camps
fucked up jumpscares me bc theres swearing in the literal title and it sounds so intense and i mean the bridge aka my fav part of the song IS intense bUT ITS SOOOO GOOD AND SOSOSOO PRETTY AND I CANNOTTT GET OVERRR IT RAHHSHSHDFJSDK
car lights is a funny one bc the first like 3 years of me listening to james' music i never got into it for some reason?? i always loved grapes and gold n stuff but then tommy covered it during his karaoke stream and HOLYSHITT i was like wtf this is so good? and then i listened to the original and went HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO GOOD??? its now been like 2-3 months and i still. am looping this shit constantly like BRO BR O BRO BRO BRO BRO ITS SO GOODDFDOWEJFIAWFEJAWFELJAWEFIJWEFLWE I LOVE CAR LIGHTS SO MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHH
iris is one of my long time fav songssss, i grew up on 90s alt rock so anything from that era is just soo <333 fkjdsdjflsj EPXLODES !!! but like the last two years ive gone in and out with listening to it. i'll listen to 90s for like a month and then go back to modern music. but yeah january i started megaaaa listening to 90s alt rock again and i remembered how much i love iris so that shit has been on loop as well. it is genuinely one of my top five fav songs of all time. also extra fun fact for you !! my mom used to loop it while she was pregnant with me <3 so it is just kinda like. my song lmao ever since before i was born lmaooooo
okay gonna provide a cut bc this will be a long one ^-^
4 i already answered and i would answer w diff ones but this ones gonna be long so i'll skip it for now eheh
9. three songs that get you in the Christmas Mood -Auld Lang Syne by Andrew Bird -Carol of the Bells from the Home Alone soundtrackkk -Rocking Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee
the first album is such a lovely one grgrgrkjrjgk i have nice memories of listening to it while sitting in front of the (real wood !!) fireplace and drinking tea and just enjoying my family's company during xmas time <333
i just fucking love carol of the bells so much i have like five billion diff versions of it saved ONE OF MY FAVS BEING A MANDALORIAN THEME SONG CROSSED WITH IT ITS LITERALLY THE BEST THING EVER CREATED IN EXISTENCE LIKEEEE MY TWO FAV SONGS EVER BEING COMBINED??? YES PLEASEKEKGHRGJKHRKJ
and the last one is just a classic:D also reminds me of home alone which is ofc my fav xmas movie ever (way better than elf FIGHT MEEE)
11. three favourite songs from movie or TV series soundtrack (i think this means like soundtrack so regular songs rather than ost but if u wanna know my three fav ostsss pls send and i will tell !!! i love film osts so much omg 😭😭😭) -Heroes by David Bowie [Perks of Being A Wallflower] -Lake Shore Drive by Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah [Guardians of the Galaxy] -Spirits by The Strumbellas [Middle School Worst Years of My Life]
goddd this movie changed my life honestly and the scene this song is from genuinely is just. it rewired my brain chemistry. i want to feel infinite man its soooooo i love this movie sosososooso much and this song is just so lovely and just RAHSHSFJDKSKJFKLAKJS i cannot english properly lmao i think im losing steam but just. yes. this song + movie are both. yes
I LOVE GOTG SOUNDTRACK SO MUCH IT IS PEAK EVERY SONG IS FUCKING AMAZINGGGGG but this is one of the songs that i found from this movie and idk !! i think it's underrated it's so vibey it makes me feel so happy:))))
this is another movie that literally changed my life. like. it's such a silly movie? but it genuinely makes me cry everytime and and this songggg this is the beginning of me looking into my own taste of music that's not just generic top 60 from the radio or my family's taste. i found this song from this movie and found the rest of the band's music and and and it was one of the first steps of me finding out who i am. it's a really big part of my personality (both the movie and the song) and i just :(( this band makes me sooo emotional. they helped me out during my first bout of mental health issues and i just got to see them in concert a couple months ago and sobsobsobsosbsobosbsobsososbsobsobsossbososssssssss SORRY i'll start rambling now i just GODDD the strumbellas mean so much to me :(
15. three songs you want to dance with your love to -Come on Eileen by Dexy Midnight Runners -Coming Home by Leon Bridges -Starting Over by Chris Stapleton
the first two are just CLASSICSSSS you have to dance to themmm and i have in the past and its literally the greatest feeling in the world. literally nothing compares. the last one is more targeted towards my partner:))) she's from tennesse LMAOO and loves country music buuuuttt besides that i also just like. my dad and his wife listen to country music a lot and it's soooo?? it's so lovely idk this style of country music is just pure vibes. but yeah the lyrics r also super lovely and just remind me of my partner so badly grjgkjrgkjrg i need to listen to alllll the country and soul (heh pun unintended) music with them. this song in particular is so comforting i just feel like it'd be nice to dance in the kitchen to <3
20. three songs that remind you of the person who sends this one -Morning Rain by Adam Torres -Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson -Home Is by Kanaya
you just give me very soft pretty rainy day vibes <333 ur a very kind person and you hold so much positivity. these songs are all so very comforting and i just !! think they suit u very well ^-^
21. three songs of your childhood -Upside Down by Jack Johnson -Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley -Clocks by Coldplay
goddddd this songgg this song is nostalgia in a nutshell. used to love the movie but also my mom and i used to dogsit for this one person and they had 3 cds. jack johnson, barenaked ladies, and adele. i used to play those and just run around the house acting out the songs. so all of those are very nostalgic but upside down takes the cake bc it just. sounds nostalgic. idk its such happy vibes and its so innocent and wholesome and i justtttt sobsss its so lovely
my half-siblings' dad had a record player before it was cool and the two records he used to play all the time were bob marley and michael jackson. bob marley reminds me more of my childhood though. its just !! its bob marley man. certified classic and good vibes. i love this song so much <3 i love all of his music a lot but this one just ??? makes me feel super intense emotions
this one is NOSTALGIA KING i dont know if there's any other song that sounds like nostalgia like this one does. it was always on the radio in the car and its also in several movies and just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa its so gorgeous i love this song so much <3333

1) Top 5 Zep songs
2) Top 5 most underrated Zep songs
3) Top 5 Jimmy eras
With explanations! Hey, you said you were bored 😝
hello!! im gonna do my best on the explanations because i suck at explaining everything 😂
1) no quarter, when the levee breaks, the song remains the same, heartbreaker, the rover
no quarter: the song in its entirety is an absolute fucking masterpiece, but a few of my favorite things about it is THE riff, organ solo, guitar solo, and robert’s vocals towards the end. it is such a powerful song in my opinion and it’s my favorite hehe
when the levee breaks: i remember when i first listened to this song, and i was just amazed. the drums are so catchy like??? AH it’s what makes the song so special y’know? and the harmonica parts, the guitar.. THE GUITAR! just fucking beautiful. i also love how it ends haha
the song remains the same: literally a song i can just dance to, it’s so happy and upbeat and my favorite lyric is “california sunlight, sweet calcutta rain, honolulu starbright, the song remains the same…” lol it’s great. this song is a 10283727289/10 😊
heartbreaker: once again, THE riff, that swinging bass, so fucking groovy i love it. and of course the iconic guitar solo in this song, no other instruments, just the guitar.. robert’s vocals are so sexy too HAHA
the rover: one of my favorites off of PG, i love how bonzo’s drums start off the song in the beginning and then jimmy’s guitar just comes in.. fucking magical. the guitar throughout the song is like my favorite thing ever, it sounds so good. i love this song so so so so much 😍
2) white summer/black mountain side, traveling riverside blues, sugar mama, for your life, the crunge
white summer/black mountain side: the danelectro. the fucking danelectro. when jimmy performed this song live at RAH 1970 he just seemed so into it, like he was in some sort of trance almost (i mean he seemed like that for every song he performed LMAO) he put his whole heart and soul into this song, it’s so beautiful like.. the vibes i get from it as well.. it’s very mellow but happy. it’s hard to explain i just really enjoy listening to it
traveling riverside blues: squeeze my lemon till the juice runs down my leg.. squeeze it so hard i fall right out of bed 😂 lol but this is my favorite off of coda, the slide guitar is very catchy and the music video for this song is great haha.. didn’t know it even existed till a while ago, i always have to go back and watch it because of something (not jimmy, not him at all..)
sugar mama: i first heard this song on here actually, someone posted it (forgot who😅) and i remember i couldn’t stop listening to it for a little while, i was obsessed. i haven’t listened to it lately but i should i miss it haha. it’s on coda (deluxe edition) and if you haven’t heard it yet, please give it a listen it’s soooo good and for what? my favorite thing is the drums and guitar, how they just work together, y’know.. it’s great
for your life: is this song even underrated? not sure lol but i like it. i don’t know why, but i love robert’s voice in this.. and jimmy’s lil guitar riff haha
the crunge: gonna be appreciating jonesy a lot in this one.. cause SYNTHS, BASS, HELLO?? perfection. he ate this song up😍 it’s definitely different from any other song they wrote, but that’s why i love it.. it’s so fun to listen to. i cannot get enough of the synths. cannot get enough of bbg’s talented, sexy ass😏 also the ending is funny, “where’s that confounded bridge?” so iconic
3) i apologize this post is so goddamn long but i really wanted to answer this ask lol. but i think im gonna put pictures of my fav jimmy eras in this part
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hot damn.. long haired, princess pagey era. isn’t this everyone’s favorite jimmy era? cause like i cannot with how pretty he looks. he’s got such a sweet, soft face 🥺 ugh my top favorite for sure
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BEARD. BEARD. BEARD.
he looked so sexy with the beard, but also still looked absolutely adorable too at times. i need him LMAO he’s perfect
Tumblr media Tumblr media
erm.. THIS! his hair, jesus christ help me.. he looks so good i could cry 😩 also his face started to mature a bit during this time as well, which made him look EVEN MORE handsome (also.. ass in the last gif)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
75.
do i even need to explain myself here?
long hair is back.. beautiful face.. 🤭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yardbean jimmy! he’s such a baby i love him i love him i love him i love him 🫶 i wanna just kiss him, n hug him, n hold him ☹️ sweet boy
whew! this was probably the longest post i’ve made ever, especially for an ask.. it’s been an hour LMAO but i hope my explanations were.. understandable, and made sense LOL. thank you @lzep for the ask! love ya❤️

the fame monster (2009) - my commentary edition
this is so fun, we started doing album commentary with a mutual!! anyone who wants in can join and add their thoughts too <3
BAD ROMANCE - THEEEE SONG OF ALL TIME TBH. excuse me i will literally write an essay on this. first of all: this changed the trajectory of pop music at that time. it really did. i dont want any further comments on this.
second of all, i knowww this is probably the most popular gaga song and everyone has heard it so many times in their lives (especially on the radio in early 2010s lol) BUT! i want everyone to hear it again and again and again. because they just dont make songs like this anymore!!! the production valueeeee are u hearing this????? the vocals??? the lyrics??? the POWER absolute power of this song. oh my god.
also, rah rah bitch. gaga ooh lala even.
last of all, when she said i dont wanna be friends french and THEN started speaking french??? 😭☝ i FEEL that lady gaga
ALEJANDRO - okay this CHANGED ME as a person. im not even kidding. i watched the music video, i was like 10, and it awakened something in me.
this song was also such a hit, and to be honest, it is simply insane to me that we were listening to this on the radio. like?? are u hearing this BEAT??? with that intro?? the hook???? that buildup??? please. this is pop perfection right here.
DONT CALL MY NAME ROBERTO 😔
MONSTER - i love this one so much. that boy is a monster mo mo monster, so fucking true! one thing i really like about a lot of her music is that the songs are jams and sound really fun, but then when u listen to the lyrics, it gets really really sad. this is a good example of this. she does that a lot starting from this album especially
also that little just dance reference hehe queen of intertextuality and self referentiality (i will say this every time she references her own songs and she does that A LOT i realized lol)
SPEECHLESS - the best gaga ballad!!! TO ME!! it's soooo good. her voice is so captivating (vocal queen always foreverrrr). the lyrics are so 😭😭 the production and instrumentals!! pleaseeee
side note: interesting how her trash father inspired so many of her best works 🤔 when i listen to this song i lose myself in it every time and then i think: QUEEN how could u possibly write this about your dad and how it can be soooo good???
DANCE IN THE DARK - one of her most underrated songs!!! definitely!!! THAT BRIDGE!!!!! marilyn, judy, sylvia tell em how you feel girls 🗣🗣🗣
i love this one so much. sooo much. how do the kids say nowadays, she is really mothering in this one, okay?
ooh and did u know that there is a rina sawayama cover of this song?? i love that as well.
TELEPHONE - oh my godddd the way i would try to do the dance of this but never could 😭 it was too much for little me...
okay this one is absolutely ICONIQUE as one would say. the music video??? that's poetic cinema. they left us with "to be continued" for over a decade now lmao 😭 i wish we could see them together again pleaseeee
what can i say, it's a hit!! another song that no one could escape from in early 2010s lol she's quite the hit-maker isnt she :)
SO HAPPY I COULD DIE - what a layered song. first of all, the lyricism of this song (this album in general tbh) really transcends. the way this can be sexual, or it can be about addiction at the same time. i really dont have the brain power to write abt it in depth but i just love the lyrics of this one sooo much
"i am as vain as i allow" this is so gaga.
TEETH - 😳😳😳 okay... this one is one of her hottest songs imo what does it say abt me lmao
i LOVE this like that beat... and it has such a musical theater vibe to it, it's so so good. has some really fun vocal moments too <3 really what a closer to this incredible album!!
(BONUS SONG) RETRO, DANCE, FREAK -
okay this one is a bonus song (technically for "The Fame" album, but released with the international deluxe edition of "The Fame Monster". so im putting it here as a bonus song lol)
this one is soooo fun for me. i wish this was in the original tracklist of The Fame instead of Disco Heaven tbh. it's fun, it fits the energy and vibe of the album so well. it would be a better closer imo :<
general comments - this album is POP PERFECTION in the literal sense im not even kidding. it's her shortest, but probably the most impactful work.
in terms of production, it has such a CLARITY that is really hard to see in many albums. the art direction and music meets the production perfectly. The Fame is an iconic album, sure. but The Fame Monster really takes a huge step ahead from that if you ask me. which says a LOT about the quality of this album
i want to say, the lyrics in this album is probably my favorite from her works. it just!!!! so good, so powerful!!! the dark side of fame may seem like an overdone concept, but she does it so well here
i would say this is her best album if i didnt know what will come later in her career lmao. it's just so good, so clean, so inspirational, i would just think "okay how will she top this cmon now"... but she does she really does that's really impressive on its own
ranking for now: the fame monster >> the fame
(the ranking may get Messy in the next album commentaries lmao but im just trying 🤷‍♂️)

Ranking my favorite 2023 K-pop comebacks
I feel like 2023 was a year where I followed kpop comebacks especially diligently bc of my newfound interest in dance, and since it's 2024 this means an entire year has passed now of This
here's a list of my 10 personal favorite title tracks this year, happy new year all!
The Top Ten
1. Monsta X - "Beautiful Liar"
listen. when I said
Tumblr media
in january of last year I meant it with my whole ass and I stand by it an entire earth year later. this song fucks So hard
firstable Yes I'm sad this is their last cb with most of the group in a while but also jesus what a banger to go out on
I love the guitars, the looks everyone is serving, the funky little twist in the song structure after the second verse, plus thinking always about lovemelovemelovemetellmetellmetellme + the chains + kihyun with a literal goddamn whip + the gunshot sound effects punctuating joohoney's verse. chefs kiss
2. Taemin - "Guilty"
god taemin is back and you can just feel the catholicity through the screen. the haunting vocals. the delicious string textures throughout (the way the arpeggios shift to pizzicato for the second verse!). the 6/4 time (the only choreo I learned this year that was not to an 8 count). the fucking through the shirt grab. the bridge which they extended in the MV specifically to squeeze in Even More Yearning™.
this is a perfect cb and I will say the rest of the album is also flawless and my favorite out of this list. honestly this probably would have been first if not for the fact that I personally just liked beautiful liar so goddamn much. thank you taemin. no notes.
3. SHINee - "HARD"
aka the song I previously described as "2 baddies, but Good" (no really, they have same key signature & near identical song structure. listen to them side by side with HARD on .95 speed if you don't believe me)
anyway, like 2 baddies this is SM-flavored af but I love the old school hip-hop vibes in HARD soooo much. I've had some people tell me they found it weird and off-putting but to me it's effortlessly cool but also earnest and just. fun? (not only the music but also the visuals? hello? the fashions in this MV) def gotta be one of my most played this year
4. Lee Gi Kwang - "Predator"
ok now for a dark horse pick. I feel like in the borderline 5th gen landscape nowadays older groups are often forgotten (even though hello! 2nd gen bgs are back from the military now and are having a Moment) so people perhaps understandably overlooked this one but god this song is a bop.
is it just criminal by taemin part 2 but less sexy and with a lower budget? yes. but the song is an absolute bop and the choreo slaps in its own right so imo it's a very worthy homage especially given it captures its exact gender of "pathetic sadboy making horny mistakes and needing to dance abt it" so so perfectly,
5. Exo - "Cream Soda"
tbh not what I was expecting from an exo comeback and I was surprised that I ended up liking this so much given I didn't really care for the prerelease tracks, but the more I listened the more this grew on me?
ofc it's an exo track so the vocals are 100 emoji but the chorus and melodies are simply addictive and the choreo for this one is also just a ton of fun (the sexy little head swipe,)
also I love the outfits in this MV (everyone keeps saying this is the Weed aesthetic but honestly? with korea's whole Thing? this is exo's macklemore-style thrift shopping and/or raiding grandma's attic for hidden midcentury treasures phase. to me.) but thank u @ the universe specifically for giving us back silver haired baekhyun. bless.
6. VIXX - "Amnesia"
another underrated release tbh! this initially gave me guilty vibes w/ the abundant use of pizzes since they were released around the same time but I also just independently love this song
I feel like it's a very mature song that takes itself seriously but not in an overly self-absorbed or cheesy way (another comparison I might make is to leo's losing game from last year), the chorus is poignant and hits hard because it's so earnest—maybe especially so since they were down to 3 with this cb—but man that melody is just so gorgeous, like it haunts me
7. Dreamcatcher - "Bon Voyage"
ok if I'm gonna be real it wasn't a great year for my faves—while I liked OOTD and reason they weren't top 10 worthy for me, mx had 1 excellent release before having most of its members yoinked by the military, and I didn't love either of oneus's cbs this year
that being said! I did still like bon voyage! while I preferred the first 2 in the trilogy it still felt like a good and fitting finale, bittersweet and full of equal parts regret and hope
in many ways it feels like a harkening back to classic dreamcatcher with the Big Anime Opening Vibes™ but more somber and grown up, an unexpected summer anthem from these queens,
8. TXT - "Sugar Rush Ride"
it's been a busy year for txt and while I'm not super familiar with them and their releases are sometimes a bit hit or miss for me, when they do hit they HIT
I actually considered chasing that feeling for this list too but despite adoring the take on me-ness of it I ended up nixing it after adjusting for recency bias
sugar rush ride though, I feel is a bop that stood the test of time with its catchiness and surprisingly dark undertones, and is also one of my favorite choreos I learned this year by far like. come on. it's the epitome of Boy Group Hot.
9. Taeyang - "Vibe"
this song lived rent-free in my head for MONTHS, god it's so catchy
I actually missed when my local studio taught this song but I liked the choreo so much I learned it on my own which, predictably since it literally features 2 main dancers, was not easy but extremely worth it bc just like the song itself it's just really fun
other than that what can I say. the MV is nothing special but otherwise it's just a really solid song with Big feel good energy.
10. Kiss of Life - "Shhh"
ok,,,,,,,I don't really follow rookie groups that closely bc generally I don't feel like I'm the target audience but. out of this year's new groups I did especially like kiss of life's debut!
the MV doesn't do much for me tbh but musically it sounds uncharacteristically mature to me, in a good way—it has a subtle confidence about it that I like plus excellent vocals, and is (possibly hot take?) what I was hoping to get from newjeans this year as a continuation of their debut last year tbh
Honorable Mentions
Jungkook - "Standing Next to You"
this one just felt like cheating bc it's technically an English single and there's probably some recency bias here but I can't not mention it bc I simply love this track. I'm not even a BTS stan but it's just a jam with great vocals and instrumentals (the big band notes and MJ influence! please!) and the choreo is also SO ridiculously fun, both the chorus and the dance break
BTOB - "Wind and Wish"
this is just a wholesome song that makes you feel good, like is it a lil bit cheesy? yeah, but it's also Good Vibes Comma the Song, wearing its entire heart on its sleeve in the most endearing way. it's nostalgic and mellow and full of love for its friends and a zest for life
also special shoutout to the bridge, which in such an otherwise lowkey song did not have to go that hard and yet it Did?? that harmony gives me chills, 100% certified vocal kings would cry again
Shownu X Hyungwon - "Love Me a Little"
this is a pathetic meow meow song in the best possible way and was sadly beat out by the other slightly better pathetic meow meow songs on this list (guilty, predator, amnesia) bc it was just a really good year for them but I still think it deserves a mention bc first of all yea boi @ my mans shownu being free from the military but also the instrumental/dance break at the end is dark as hell and also SO fucking tasty
Infinite - "New Emotions"
another 2nd gen group that quietly had a renaissance this year! this song is simply a bop and while the song itself is not as memorable as some in the top 10 the choreo is actually really fun
also myungsoo looks really ridiculously fine as center in the first chorus and that's the last thing I have to say about this song,
Key - "Killer"
honestly I really liked both of key's cbs this year but I feel like killer was slept on somewhat, it's got a hint of sadboi but it's tempered by the upbeat 80s pop style, plus the grungy mullet and beret outfit from the MV was a fucking Look and a Half
And my favorites per month
January: Monsta X - "Beautiful Liar"
February: Purple Kiss - "Sweet Juice"
March: Onew - "O (Circle)"
April: Lee Gi Kwang - "Predator"
May: Dreamcatcher - "Bon Voyage"
June: SHINee - "HARD"
July: Exo - "Cream Soda"
August: MAMAMOO+ - "dangdang"
September: Key - "Good & Great"
October: Taemin - "Guilty"
November: VIXX - "Amnesia"
December: TVXQ - "Down"

First thoughts on Speak Now (Taylor's Version)
Mine
That first "uh uh uh" 🥺 this song sounds so good; like the 2010 one but so much better.
Sparke Fly
I love that she used a video from tour for the lyric video. 2011 Taylor with her 2023 vocals, quite literally. One of my favourite thing about the rerecordings is how the instrumentals sound a lot clearer. The way she sings "I know it's no good" oh god.
Back To December
I really love the lyric videos. "Then I think about summer all times I watched you laughing from the passanger side" so exceptionally good ugh HER VOCALS.
Speak Now
Underrated bop tbh. The "don't you"!!!
Dear John
Wanted to kms from that first guitar strings. I love that the lyric video is a letter. Idk if I'm imagining but her voice sounds more...haunted (no pun intended) in this version. Of course the high note sounds even better.
Mean
Country bop!!! Another wonderful thing about the rerecording is how better Taylor's gotten at enunciating. She made it to the big old city 🥺.
The Story of Us
A pop punk bop!!! The fact the lyric video's a book wkfkwkf I'm obsessed with the little illustrations!! Again, like the 2010 version but better. NEXT CHAPTER
Never Grow Up
I wasn't emotionally prepared for the way she sings "oh darling" in this. Will I ever be able to listen to this without crying?
Enchanted
A lyrical masterpiece with improved vocals!! This song literally defined my teen years and now I got to listen to it for the first time again. She truly sings "I'm wonderstruck dancing around all along" like a lovestruck teenager. I'm obsessed with the post-bridge breakdown. It sounds like it's literally her thoughts echoing. Using photos from the Speak Now Tour and then changing it up to Eras Tour pictures was soooo mean.
Better Than Revenge
32 years old Taylor telling me to go stand in the corner YESSSSSSS. I love her voice on the opening message. AKFKWKKF HER VOICE IN THE BACKGROUND VOCALS. I don't care about the lyric change! Y'all should move on because there's nothing to do about it. Idk why focus on that one lyric when the best one in the song is the entire second verse like, a lyric genius.
Innocent
Oh god her voice. Can we now admit it's one of her best songs? I hope she rerecorded the song knowing it's okay to still be growing up. That goddamn high note.
Haunted
The fact she sounds actually haunted in this version. VOCALS!!! That squeak on the last "I thought I had you figured out" ...lives were changed.
Last Kiss
Can't believe she somehow made this song even sadder and we just let her. You know when Taylor puts a watch in her lyric video it's gonna be the best song you've ever heard. The "mmmm" before the bridge. SO I'LL WATCH YOUR LIFE IN PICTURES LIKE I USED TO WATCH YOU SLEEP
Long Live
I love that she uses videos from the Speak Now Tour!! Another song that always makes me cry with updated vocals. Her arm lyric reads "She's out there on her own and she's alright." I'M GOING TO SOB
Ours
This used to be my favourite song when I was a kid 🥲. Listening to it again healed something in me tbh. 13 years later and they really couldn't take what's ours.
Superman
This song's my little baby y'all stay away from it. Something in his deep brown eyes has me saying HE'S NOT ALL BAD LIKE HIS REPUTATION. The bridge was always so good and so underrated.
Vault tracks!!
Electric Touch (feat. Fall Out Boy)
I was so hyped for this one. The most important collab she's ever made. I LOVE the production. First date song!! This is like Fearless' older sister. I missed her crush songs kdkfke. Obsessed with her telling the time.
When Emma Falls In Love
Oh a piano song?? This is such a classic Baby Taylor song. "I've got my money on things going badly" -> "when Emma falls in love she calls her mom, jokes about the ways this one could go wrong" "and all the bad boys would be good boys if they only had a chance to love her" -> "I can make the bad guys for the weekend"
I Can See You
I did not expect this. "I can see you up against the wall with me" excuse me??? This song's a reminder Taylor has always been That Girl.
Castles Crumbling (feat. Hayley Williams)
The lyric video's giving "I'd meet you where the spirit meets the bone" literally Nothing New's little sister oh my god what the fuck. This song is a lot quieter and sadder than I expected. Hayley's vocals ekdkekfke GOD. I love it when Taylor uses kingdom metaphors in her songs.
Foolish One
Her voice!!! "You are not the exception" -> "you are the only exception" she will not be the one he loves :// IT'S DELICATE. And "my cards are on the table, yours are in your hand" because she was being honest about her intentions while he was unclear and confusing.
Timeless
Taylor really loves writing songs about her grandparents. What a way to end this album. "Even in a different life you would've been mine"

Fable Ranks the Chain
read at your own risk lol slander ahoy
@silvercaptain24 @squigglywindy
9: Twilight. He's one of the Links that I don't have any game experience with, which is kinda a bummer. It took me 3 watches of the Zelda Universe dub just to get a hold on the plot. I don't really know how to characterize him and most people reduce him to either "Wolfie" or "Pinches the bridge of his nose whenever Wild dares to exist". Plus he's had the spotlight for over a year now.
8: Time. He's hard to write sometimes. OoT is fun so far in my playthrough, but how do you deal with the guy 10+ years after his last adventure? Also he keeps showing up in fics just to say "Language" once then fade back to the void. What is the need.
7: Wild. The fandom got to me. BotW is still near and dear to me but I would much rather write game Link than comic Wild.
6: Wind. By the goddesses is he hard to balance. Is he a teen? Is he a baby? How much angst is acceptable? How about whump? Nobody can decide, I can't decide, and he's another Link who's easier to write for game canon than comic canon.
5: Sky. Don't get me wrong, I love SS. But we haven't got enough comic content. 🧍‍♂️ He's a cuddly boy with a lot of godslayer potential that hasn't got enough attention from me or the comic.
4: Warriors. Underrated dynamics with just about everybody, angst central, fun to mess with. Not bad looking either.
3: Hyrule. Oh what fun, he's a cinnamon roll who can rock your world, he's full to the brim with snuggles and insecurity and shyness and angst and magic (healing and hurting).
2: Four. Out of freaking nowhere, here comes a kid-sized not-kid with lots of potential for any situation. I wrote the Colors for the first time a few months ago and I haven't looked back since. Soooo fun to work out his inner feelings and he makes for a great whumpee.
1: Legend. *Incoherent screaming* My beloved projection dump, he's basically me if you look too closely at my fics. Gender. Angst. Secret softy. Gremlin. Has two very cute partners. Also not hard on the eyes in the least.

Franfic questions!
What were some of your fav lines? Was there a scene that wasn’t originally planned but just hit you one day? Did you have to research anything strange while writing? When you think of the vK manor do you think of it as a complete map or just disjointed rooms? Did you have the title first or did you find it later on? What scene was the most fun to write?
oh!!! this is so nice, thank you for liking my art!!!
What were some of your fav lines?
i am soooo bad at picking fave lines cause when im proud of something it all looks like a million heart emojis to me gfhfg.
i'm very fond of this whole passage, though:
Miles’ wish to prosecute was a delicate thing, barely above a whisper, uttered softly into his nervous, folded hands. Franziska’s was a battle cry, boisterous and proud, a promise and a declaration and a perfect guarantee. Maybe that… was why, she tried to tell herself when a lonely, jealous ache would tug at her chest—Miles wasn’t born with a von Karma’s electric heart, and he was meek and unsure and soft spoken still, he needed extra guidance to show him how to be brave and unmoving and clever. That had to be the reason papa poured prosecutorial wisdom into Miles like an endless fountain of attention and care, while Franziska was left uncomfortably thirsty, lapping up spilled drops they left behind.
Was there a scene that wasn’t originally planned but just hit you one day?
i didn't really have a planned ending for it, but once i played bridge to the turnabout i was like oh okay holy fucking shit i know now. i know.
Did you have to research anything strange while writing?
oh i accidentally started learning german. that wasn't super intentional it has just kinda happened since getting into AA. eventually ill say fuck it and actually learn perhaps.
When you think of the vK manor do you think of it as a complete map or just disjointed rooms?
i don't visualize, so closer to the second? my memories of it are vivid but they are all snapshotty and sensation-based, hehe. all i can tell you is that the anime lowballed, it is WAY bigger than that.
Did you have the title first or did you find it later on?
i was originally going to give it the english title of the XTC song i wrote it to the tune of, knights in shining karma, but then i went on youtube only to find that the song... was so underrated NO ONE had even uploaded it to youtube? and i kind of pouted for a while. until i noticed SOMEONE FUCKING DID A GERMAN COVER OF IT, I REPEAT THE ORIGINAL ENGLISH SONG WAS NOT ON YOUTUBE BUT SOMEONE REWROTE THE WHOLE THING IN GERMAN AND PERFORMED IT IN GERMAN AND THEY COULD HAVE FUCKING PICKED ANY LANGUAGE AND ANY SONG BUT THEY DID KNIGHTS IN SHINING KARMA BY ENGLISH NEW WAVE ROCK BAND XTC IN GERMAN I WILL NEVER BE OVER THIS AS LONG AS I LIVE
the original has since been added to youtube. Listen To It.
What scene was the most fun to write?
anything with manfred in the early scenes where franziska is still stuck in hero worship mode. i have a lot of very sappy tactile memories of him before everything went to shit and it's the reason he's such a big comfort character. i really like writing about the charisma i remember him having because it was enchanting to me in a way i love trying to put words to. and also just... his voice? i remember his voice more clear than anything, i would spend the rest of my days waxing poetic about it.
one thing i love about the intersection of kin and writing is that you can WATCH my prose go flowery and poetic when i talk about comfort characters. a paragraph could be shit and then as soon as blorbo walks onscreen it turns into fucking hemingway or some shit hehe.

my thoughts on 1989 tv, track by track (mostly positive!) -
1. welcome to new york: something is off. (the harmonies are layered differently and i don’t like how it sounds. the synth at the beginning is also different in a way i just can’t get into.)
2. blank space: something is off, especially with the first half of the song. it’s the way she’s singing. something is off. the energy is off.
3. style: just as good as the original.
4. out of the woods: somehow even better than the original!
5. all you had to do was stay: just as good. the background vocals at the end!!!
6. shake it off: something is off. the way she sings in the beginning is off. the horn is off. the bridge is really good though.
7. i wish you would: just as good. also, i never noticed the background vocals at the end until taylor’s version….absolutely superior!!
8. bad blood: almost better. she brought the energy!
9. wildest dreams: just as good.
10. how you get the girl: just as good.
11. this love: somehow even better than the original.
12. i know places: the same. slightly better because of the one note where she growls, “and we run!”
13. clean: better than the original! the production is more hopeful! there is this one harmony that i don’t remember from the original that sounds so fucking good.
14. wonderland: just as good.
15. you are in love: just as good.
16. new romantics: so much better than the original! i didn’t used to like it, but her lower register elevated the verses! i’m obsessed.
17. slut: so dreamy i loveeee.
18. say don’t go: a fucking bop. the bridge is too muchhhhh.
19. now that we don’t talk: gets better with every listen. the outro!!!!!!
20. suburban legends: criminally underrated, especially the outro…..
21. is it over now?: the best song of all time idc. i have on repeat. so good. so so so soooo good.

Day 3/ Entry 3
Okay... maybe I've gotten way too mad at myself last night. I can't really sleep right now so i guess Imma write in here for a bit and then i'm gonna go back to sleep.
Okay forget what i said about the google doc, I will try my absolute best to remember to tell her shit alright, she still loves you Jordan you just need to let go sometimes yk. Okay anyway the Class 700 came out for Train Sim World 3 today so Im gonna be checking that out today. I wonder what skin i should Make for minecraft cause i need something completely original and no i don't wanna use AI cause that's gonna be the death of us Istfg, I don't know it's just i get a mega bad feeling even when i see AI chatbots and shit like they just make me scared for some reason and the fact that its ramping up faster and faster everyday makes me worry about the future... I DON'T WANNA DIE BY A ROBOT, I JUST WANNA LIVE A FULL LIFE AND SEE MY GF KRISY AND HAVE A LIFE WITH HER, NOT JUST DIE BY SOME DAMN ROBOT. Anyway tho I have an off day today surprsingly oh wait i forgot that i didnt have work today and i thought i overslept ;-; bruh, I keep forgetting shit. Which brings me to my next topic
I think i finally might know why i keep forgetting things, I just got way too much going on in the background to remember, I have a short attention span so it's probably because work is making me do more and more shit. Except the past two work days, where we did ABSOLUTELY nothing after my lunch break. That's time where I could have been texting Krisy and spending time with her, but its whatever tho. Oh yea funny story tho from Yesterday lol, Soooo i was on an R62A 6 Train right, and i was riding the City Hall Loop and everything went all and according to plan until we skipped the Fucking Uptown Platform, it went non-stop and i was lowkey panicking cause yea i thought i was on an Out of Service dehead, thankfully we stopped at Canal street, Yea im not gonna be doing the loop after that, speaking of the 6 Train, them R62As are extremely underrated as fuck, for trains that started on the 6 as Single units and then ended up on the 7 and then came back in 2015-2016, they are pretty fast and underrated for a local train.
While we are on the topic of my gf, I think i found some places I would like to show her around
-Brooklyn Bridge Park/Pier
-Barnes and Nobles in Downtown Brooklyn
-Ride around the City Hall Loop and show her the Abandoned City Hall Station which looks absolutely amazing to this day
-Dave and Busters TSQ/Gateway Mall
-Queens Center Mall
Okay yea that's a good list and a good start
Speaking of last night, like I said before i got way WAY too mad at myself last night. Damn.. I never realized how hard I am on myself especially for her. Okay I realize that i need to sometimes let things go, I can't be to hard on myself cause thats gonna end up destroying my confidence and make me start self harming, hasnt happened yet but still, i just gotta breath and chill the fuck out.
On a side note tho, im not sure why but for some reason i have a massive pet peeve when someone uses "Ok" or "K" or "Mk" instead of just saying "Okay" or "Alright. I don't know its just "Ok" or "K" Just seem way more cold and distant, and no in my opinion are not the goddamn same as "Okay"/"Alr"/"Kay"/"M'kay" Its just fucking not the same, like bro next person who "Ok" or "K" me im gonna end up getting pissed at them. Okay fine i'll admit i had way too many people, and no before you ask Krisy is not apart of those people, but still too many people try to pull that dry shit and it always send the goddamn wrong message cause i end up thinking something is the goddamn matter with them, like i said "Ok" and "K" are NOT the same as "Okay" and "Kay" or "Alright"/"Alr"
Well that's all i got for now, lets see where the day takes us shall we

when you get this you have to post 5 songs you actually listen to then send this ask to 10 of your favourite followers 🌃
✧・゚:* Sure thing~! *:・゚✧
I listen to soooo much music (and most of it is Taylor Swift's, tbh) so I'm giving myself the self-imposed challenge of listing, let's say, deeper cuts that I listen to. Why? Idk, I like to challenge myself.
AmaLee's entire Rise of the Monarch album, but right now I'm especially into "Monster U Made." This is very much an album I listen to when I'm mad about my family again, lol
Speaking of stuff that reminds me of my dad, LittleJayneyCakes's "Poison (Thanks for Nothing)" is cathartic af.
I like a lot of Icon for Hire's music, but "Watch Me" is a personal fav.
Beth Crowley's music is another favorite of mine that I don't talk about enough, but "Empire" is probably the song of hers that I listen to the most. Which is to say, too much. (Also, Dany deserved better)
And, hmmm, last but not least, Courage My Love's "Bridges." Another one of those "I sing it in the car for catharsis sometimes" songs, and an underrated group tbh.
Thank youuuu~

NA JAEMINNNN
• [fav thing about them]
cheesily enough I'd say everything, but yk how he's just there without doing much and that's like his thing but I just love it when he's really active and goofy as if he just had his namericano and everyone's just rolling on the floor because of the really weird but funny jokes that he cracks and he's laughing so hard to the point that he's crying too and you just realise it's a happy and memorable moment right there. Like that one part from hello future live where he's enacting a squid(? was it)... I just blabbered but times like this warm my heart
• [when you knew they became ur bias]
he wasn't my bias right away but no kpop idol ever is neways when I fell deeper into the nct rabbit hole and i noticed a lot of similarities between his personality and mine own and how he just gives everyone around him soooo much love but never asking for anything back like he's just there silently pouring his love for everyone and the bias list in my head just updated itself with his name just shining (like his smile) right on top
• [fav looks on them]
THAT RECENT GLITCH MODE TEASER OUTFITS OMG and universe leather jacket outfit and hello future mv outfit and chilling jalapeno version outfit and his cat hoodie and his classic pink-purple-green colour Celine tee and and that brown shirt outfit of his from nct dream cinema and his work it suit outfit and that one hot sauce mv outfit and button-up outfits and white tee outfits okay I'll stop-
• [fav verse/choreo]
do i really have to spell it out? do i really? JAEMIN BOOM AND GO VERSE SUPREMACY plus his verse the song of my life ANL (underrated queen) and a number of others but mostly bye my first, quiet down, maw (heck yes) and ofc from work it (his love for czennies>>>>>>)
As for choreo again, Go and Boom choreo supremacy, or the chorus part of exo's growl cover and also the Pennywise move from we go up and there's this one move he does in his starting verse in ridin where he like twists his hand and then points it backward during "everyone sit back" (https://youtu.be/M9kctl7bSu8 at 0:20) idk how to describe it but the first time i saw it I lost my breath (also taking into acc that it was the song that got me into dream but yes)
• [your wish for them]
a really amazing coffee lol, but in all seriousness i'd love to see him in more videos like just do it (sm pls give us more episodes pls) or a thriller drama some day (sm *puppy eyes* pls) and a cover song pls pls pls AND OMG more songs like countdown 3, 2, 1 where he can do a fast rap because his verse from the bridge of that song just kills me everytime but I also want more vocal performances from him because his voice in my youth or anl just gives me life
• [random]
i love him. very much okay? like "i see a 1 sec clip of him smiling at it makes my day" kind of love. like "his voice helps me fall asleep" kind of love. or "his lives and bubbles make me feel warm" kind of love. i cannot physically or verbally explain the extent (hence this long para) but it lowkey breaks my heart when it hits me at times that he might be a bit underrated. pls don't come at me, maybe it's just me but there are times when I feel like he's overshadowed in some places and underappreciated by fans (and i don't wanna sound rude by not respecting their choices or biases) but there's just a small part of me which thinks that way. but as long as he's happy and enjoying his time i really don't care about anything else cause, with every ounce of honesty in me, his smile makes my day. so, imma say it again.
I love na jaemin.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh my god i smiled so much reading this post and your fav looks?? i know exactly which ones you're talking about LOL
Tumblr media
that part in ridin where he points backwards YES YES i love that part too 😞 and the way everyone parts for na jaemin in that choreo ahhhhhhh. so good. SAME the chorus part of their growl cover is sooooo good i thought it was just me (https://youtu.be/gf6kbW0SgMQ?t=68 also he looks great in this outfit lol)
i also love when he doesnt do much and then he cracks a joke and everyone is on the floor laughing 🥺 the part in the hello future live where he was imitating a stingray IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE THING EVER he is SO CUTE!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i too love how he gives the people around him so much love but he doesnt seem to expect anything in return, and he does things without complaint <33 he'll cook for the dreamies (and he might "complain" about it but he still does it) and makes sure they eat first 😭
also yes.............his rap in countdown 321 i literally gasped when i first heard it, i love that part so much he went so hard and it kills me every time as well. i also super love his part in my youth, his lazy rap in his deep voice and when he harmonizes with renjun - literally my fav part of all time (my youth is also one of my top songs ever)
im sure everyone thinks their bias is underrated in some way but i think a lot of people see him for his looks (and of course i love jaemin center) but i think there seems to also be a lot more to him like his sweet personality (at least given what he shows to us), as you mentioned!!
and agreed, his smile is the best!!! 😍
Tumblr media Tumblr media
send me an ask for bias loving hours <3 (honestly open anytime)

Don’t have time for proper posts, so here is some (new) music i need to rec: (links are spotify)
- no:el - trendsetter feat coogie & justhis. I don’t care that much about no:el but having coogie and justhis on the same track is a gift and you already know it’s good:D
- jupiter - freedom (3 songs). Jupiter is a member of under seongsu bridge who are a member of flocc. He’s in the military so idk if this is allowed :D his solo work before didn’t impress me that much, but he was my fav on the usb album. And now this album is amazing! He got help from usb dad paloalto and fellow flocc member zene the zilla who deliver solid parts as always, as well as usb friends toigo and 365lit whose style i usually find a bit noisy/annoying but they adjusted so well to jupiter’s perfect-level-of-chill-but-not-boring style this album presents. And the beats are perfect <3 10/10!!
- ash-b - brat of the year (full album). Hilite signed another woman! Bitiontona, h1ghr take notes!! I’ve been following ash-b for a while and her only weakness might be that her tone always sounds similar, and just personally i’m not into the sexy concept even though i support the idea 100%. But! She is a woman who does actual rap, not singing, and her songs have energy and are just good altogether. Raudi produced her whole album (he is a producer i really like) so yeah check it out! :)
- yanghongwon, unofficialboyy, gamma - drugonline gate (4 songs). I ranted before but the thing is a freaking masterpiece. Take only the first song, you think unifficialboyy’s rap is the best that happens to the song but then gamma kicks in and idk words but the vibe is different but compliments the previous parts soo well, only those few seconds are aaah ART. It’s funny bc before i only liked hongwon and the others not so much, but this time i think hongwon is the weakest and the others carry the album. (Also hongwon says the r-slur which i know is crazy common but i’ve been trying to avoid it bc it pisses me off so. Warning it’s in the 2nd song. The others don’t say it.) still d sign is my fav song and I’ve listened to the whole thing countless times. Unofficialboyy and gamma also went on raphouse on air with it and did some other promo if you wanna go see them. And i think they mention drugs less than you’d expect :D aoty if it wasn’t so short, don’t miss out.
- ourealgoat x vangdale- only late at night feat. jay park. My life is fulfilled, year blessed, i have no more wishes. Almost. But about music :D you already know. And this is only the beginning ㅠㅠ whenever you grieve old khh, remember now we have this <3
- flowsik - guk (feat. Jay park). I’ve been waiting for flowsik to release his long-announced album for a long time and dunno what’s taking so long, but it was nice to see he dropped a song. His singing sounds great but the beat is a bit..? Confusing? It sounds like what giriboy would make for a young boygroup but without the distinctive giriboy style obviously. Anyway in case you missed it.
- ranchia x m3chvnic - no excuses (9 songs). I found these 2 only bc they’re in the d.o.g. crew, they’re pretty unknown but soooo underrated i couldn’t believe they’re so good. Ranchia rapper, m3chvnic producer. Feats are unofficialboyy, swervy, gamma, seshin. Check out the beats ㅠㅠ we are lucky we have intl streaming and all. Go listen <33
- i woke up 1 hour early yet am running out of time ㅠㅠ but i need to talk abt 1 more:
- asthma - clockwork. First i didn’t like him the most in his “crew” (there’s no official crew but always the same kids together) but this album is solid! Consider he is only 18. He was on hsr4 and did everything right, was well-liked and made no mistakes, he was only eliminated bc someone else was better. The album is not an artistic masterpiece yet (a bit “basic”, but as i said solid) but he has a lot of potential! :) nice melodies and feats too :)
What i still haven’t checked out but bet is awesome: smugglers x rhody album!! Ok bye.

Underrated scene we don’t talk about as much in TST because there’s so much is Sherlock standing on the bridge and just suddenly piecing together the mystery. John is completely inventing it but even outside of the missing piece being Norbury and Mary mentioning secretaries know everything it’s complete nonsense, he’s writing this bad crime procedural scene that exists in every other show where the detective solves the case without any kind of personal motivation or change and there’s no other need for it to exist outside of John needing to lie about how Mary was brought to her death. Then immediately after John breaks the fourth wall and “the curtain rises” and it’s supposed to blend in because that’s the point, it’s supposed to look like bland scene that pins the blame on a fall man but every time I see I’m just soooo overwhelmed it’s so funny.
In fact it’s funny because John invents the beginning and opening too, with Sherlock walking through the aquarium with a monologue and then the river again at the end. None of it ever happened lmao.
