#this au makes me want to explode /pos

rambling and random facts about my mcsm au because I'm hyperfixated on it!

disclaimer: none of this is canon to the mcsm universe and is only my au. this is going to be long.. so if you get bored of reading easy, whoops!

the general premise of this au is that the command block was alive (in the same way that skulk is, in a way?), and the witherstorm was actually a giant parasite. yes, I can hear some of you going "oh, man, here we go towards some generic zombie apocalypse au".. but I promise you this is different. I won't bore you with cliche love stories or that ONE character being like "omigosh, I'm immune!" and you knew it would happen because they're the main protagonist. I also won't explain too much of the actual au details because it's complicated and long (unless some of you want to hear about it.. wink wink).. so I'll simply tell you this: some of the cast-- including our beloved main character-- is mutated. think about hybrid creatures, or perhaps what the warden (deep dark warden, not the sunshine institute warden) would look like if it was more humanoid. yeah, that's them. with that out of the way, however.. here are some of my rambles and facts.

my favorite jesse skin is gsj (green suspender jesse), so my entire jesse design was initially meant to be paired with that skin. this also means that the canon jesse of this au is technically male (gsj). (I like to use they/them pronouns for canon jess-- yes, my nickname for them is 'jess'-- because the player can go male or female, but when I speak of this au I'll use he/they because I'm referring mostly to this canonically (in terms of this au at least) male-presenting character.) however, due to the changes I've made to the actual character.. he kind of stands along as his own skin now.

I've seen a lot of fanart of enderbeings and witherbeings in the minecraft community, so I made his design to kind of fit in with those-- not in the sense that i lacked ideas, but rather to have him fit into the fanon and have people at least somewhat recognize what he is. however, I have many unique designs elements that I saw from the actual game.

I make it sound like our protagonist has an official design... but in reality, I'm only in my first stage of designing him! he only has one concept design as of right now.. despite me having many ideas of how exactly he looks. that's just on the part of my art skills and me not exactly being good at drawing mcsm characters yet... my skill is pretty limited.

most of the armor choices in the au (for jesse, at least) are still the same! however, when we are speaking of jesse as a character, his favorite armors are slightly modified versions of 'ender defender' and 'dragonsbane'. he-- along with most of the cast-- agreed that these two armors fit with his color palette the best, due to his new color palette having a lot of blue and pink. YES, this jesse is very aware of fashion and what looks good on him.

in this universe, wither-sickness is called wither-infection.. since, y'know.. it's basically a wither-zombie apocalypse.

lukas and ivor co-wrote a journal! using ivor's studies of the wither-infection and lukas' journaling skills (along with his art skills, because he's somewhat of an artist in this au), they made a complete study of the stages and types of infection. they also have a part in the journal where they have brewing recipes for what specific potions help to slow the effects of wither-infection or at least make a person more comfortable if they're too far gone.

like canon mcsm, when the storm was vanquished, the people who were sick got better. however, in this au, the process was gradual (as the infection lost connection to what really kept it alive, and therefore slowly died). the mutants stayed as they were, since the infection caused physical changes to their bodies that couldn't be undone by natural means.

yes, ivor was the creator of the storm.. and yes, in a twist of fate and cruel irony.. he was, in fact, mutated. however, he had no idea that the command block was alive and would create an infection instead of simply a wither that he could control. due to this, when he saw both jesse and petra get mutated as well, he felt immense guilt and often has sleepless nights where he works tirelessly in his lab in an attempt to have some sort of cure for the mutation. these attempts have all been futile, and no cure has been made. all he can do is keep the others comfortable until their bodies get used to the additional changes that the storm brought upon them.

jesse was the last person to ever be infected.. and his actually came from when he was inside of the storm. instead of destroying the command block as what happened in canon.. the block actually fused with him in a last-ditch effort to save itself. so, naturally, he got very sick. wither-sick. this worried the absolute hell out of his friends, since "the storm is gone, he should be getting better and not worse!" I'll keep the story of his sickness short (unless someone wants to hear about it... wink wink v2), but the basic jist of it is that everyone thought he was gonna die, he got so sick he went into a coma for a few days.. and then he disappeared from the makeshift infirmary that they kept him in. when they found him again, he went from being a very, very sick human to not being as sick, but having undergone the mutation and looking completely different. that scared the everloving fuck out of everyone.. but then two days later, he woke up with no sickness whatsoever as if nothing happened. THAT part is still a mystery to ivor.

everyone who has been mutated experiences some pain for a while, since their bodies need to get used to the changes (as previously stated). a lot of the time, they also need to relearn some things-- walking, talking, coordination, etc.-- depending on what the mutation did to them.

aaaagh anyway.. I feel like I've made this just a bit too long, so if you want to hear more about this au, just put it in my asks and shoot out whatever questions you have. if you do so, please make sure to specify that you're asking me about this specifically by either blatantly stating it or saying something like "(wau) question", etc.

("wau" is short for wither au.. that's my very unoriginal placeholder name until I get a better one.)

"Antihero po and shrew luthera"

Edgy panda

Loosly based of the original storyboard that had such a different vibe then what we got. Po was broody and often thought of himself as a failure.

In this au after being picked as dragon warrior he wasnt taken so kindly. Shifu couldn't train him like the five and instead po sought to train himself.

Him and tigress have animosity and often thought he was nothing but a failure. He broke tai lung. Smashed his fingers in. Broke his legs and bsnished him.

Shen met his end by po literally throwing a brokem mast at him and hitting through it to end him. "Eat some inner peace!"

Freed the remaining pandas. the inhabitants were wary of and shunned them even still. So po took leave with them finding that he no longer felt the need to find or wish for acceptance from the 5 or the vally.

The pandas live on the mountain outskirts of the vally. Not far. They built a sort of shanty/slum town. Po offering aid to those unfortunate enough to be outcasted from the vally. A huge polar bear warrioress being one such member.

He fights kai and masters chi like a weapon. Is able to use it to open his body for greater feats of strength and power. Po defending the town and begrudgingly the valley aswell. Ksi nearly takes his chi, as he is encased in jade the other pandas fought to help him. The 5 though spared thanks to po finially gave him aid. Much to kais surprise the jade cracks and explodes. Po stands before him and his chi burns so great its actually seen. A dragon takes shape from his chi.

Po beats kai to a pulp and uses a form that breifly takes chi only to send it back at the user double the force, rendering the soul from the body breifly.

"You talk of the evil and wrongs of the world when all i see is it looking back at me!"

The five try to make amends and hes had enough.

Later

Luthera is being beaten on a roadside but not down, fighting and stabing out an eye of an assailant. The knights of england are making an example of her. Shes a woman and must know her place. The knights and she a noblewoman - a diplomat set foot in china to apprehend the weasels for grievous crimes against the queen.

Po sees them beating on luthera but doesn't intervene. Watching and assessing the situation. He does eventually step in and breaks the arms of two.

They flee leaving a bloody Luthera. Still clutching her blade. Shes wounded bad. He takes her bsck to the village and shes just as vicious to him.

Eventually they form an understanding with each others pain and form bond.

"Where i come from women know their place. Put on this earth to kneel before their husbands. To birth sons for the realm. Nothing more.

I wanted to fight so i disguised myself as a man. It worked for awhile. However I was found out and lashed. Tortured and sentenced. I refused to be anyones breeding sow.

Being beaten doesnt hurt. Nor do the lashes. Not anymore. I will have my freedom. So saving me was rather pointless...

The panda froze. Realisation on her situation.

"You...wanted to die..."

"By my terms. If i cant have my freedom to do so as i see fit then give me that solace to die by my choice, saving me? You just prolongued the life that isnt worth a damn to anyone"

Currently? Not really? Though I remembered an old character idea for a DND game that never really got fleshed out, so I might write about her? Beyond their backstory that is.

OH! I could also write about these two other DND characters who are interconnected w/ each other but they're also not because they're in separate campaigns but their themes are very related.

Currently? I mean, aren't there three main ones? 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (with its many branch-offs)? 1st person makes me...ick personally for some reason. I might try to write more in 1st person, but 3rd and 2nd really fascinate me.

Oh there's this one AU that's been trying to build up in my mind lately? Think your classic fanfic trope that is "Flower Shop & Tattoo Parlor AU". Except I take the tattoo artist part and chuck it with...AVIANS. So it's uh...light steampunk / urban fantasy but also literal space ships from "Treasure Planet" because I love those so much.

Also, floating islands that hover and move similar to plate tectonics but they move like how magnets are used to levitate. So the magnetic fields are moving things! Yes, there are still aquatic creatures! No, I don't know how they work alongside avians!

Listen I was looking at my current homemade blorbos (Whynn, Zephyr, AT-1225) and going: "I can make that scene again."

William killed kids first and Henry made the mimic and the mimic started killing ppl (more on that in a sec) so William managed to rope him into the killing and got him to build the funtimes and Henry became interested in remnant (tho he'd never admit it) and when he threatened to kill william himself william told him shed jsut have vanessa kill charlie and ofc if william died ness would be OUT OF THERE but henry doesnt know that so he lets william go. (also vaneassa does NOT trust henry so she doesnt want william to die. shes convinced henry is jsut as bad as william but doesn't need her the way william does

they all hate each other but william and henry also used to kiss sometimes. they are horrible for each other. vanessa just wants them to kiss again so she doesnt have to constantly pry them apart.

basically after henry makes the funtimes and theres a lil accident (cough elizabeth cough) william starts hating him more because he didnt implement things the way william asked. the claw was not supposed to kill the kid, but rather stuff em in the robots stomach hatch so william could kill them and put them somewhere else (he didnt want the funtimes to be possessed bc that causes problems. he knew how possession worked by now and he did not want it happening to the murder bots) but the claw was fucked up and killed elizabeth in the stomach hatch

but now cbby is possessed, cassidy is finally coming around, michael is suspicious of william, and luis is dead. rip luis ig.

sammy charlie and michael are th emost important kids in this! they investigate the murders and stuff because michael "finds it interesting" (knows his dad is doing it and wants to get him caught) which ends... badly. for charlie specifically.

so henrys PISSED AS FUCK because williams STUPID FUCKING DOG (vanny) jsut FUCKING KILLED HIS DAUGHTER and he is SOOOO PISSED but he cant kill william bc again this trio is incredibly dependent on one another to stay out of jail

ALSO MIMIC MIMIC MIMIC OAKY SO! Henry built the mimic. the mimic saw william kill a kid and then followed him adn saw vanessa kill her dad and was like OH!
