EVERYONE leans down to their height (save for olivia, who may be their height or maybe a little shorter??) and everyone calls them some form of small nickname 😭,, bros gotta be FED UP with it by now because they're a "HERO who should be RESPECTED" (probably in the defensive words of jesse at some point).

they also totally never see the end of the teasing from petra and lukas ESPECIALLY. axel joins in but he's the type to probably just pick jesse up and laugh

Which Hogwarts house do you think the characters would be in?

Jesse would either be in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw and considering I choose (most of) the nice options, I can see her (my Jesse is a female) being in Hufflepuff.

oough.. I don't really like harry potter, but I'll do my best to answer this for you (since i USED to be a fan).

both jesses would most likely be in gryffindor or hufflepuff, since those houses are based on bravery and kindness/hard work, respectively.

petra would be gryffindor.. I'm pretty sure that's self-explanatory.

olivia would be ravenclaw.. that's also self-explanatory.

lukas would either be hufflepuff or a ravenclaw.. he's kind and loyal, but he's also extremely intelligent and witty. I'd also say that for his loyalty factor and resourcefulness, he could fit slytherin as well..

axel.. he'd probably be either be gryffindor or hufflepuff. he's kind, he's protective, and he's brave when it comes to protecting his friends. this means he could very well fit both houses.

I'm not gonna go into the rest of the cast.. simply because I'm tired right now.

there's no way reuben didn't help with anxiety or other things going on with the gang-- and we know that he and jesse had a much closer understanding and communication than just 'a man and his pet'. reuben probably was like those cats that cuddle up with someone to calm them down when they're upset 🫶

yknow i was thinking about season 2 of mcsm again and i think it's crazy how ive seen very few people mention that radar was Literally Tortured in episode 3. like that's gotta have a lasting impact on him

absolutely. people often mention jesse's trauma being overlooked in the series, but they also glaze right over the fact that radar was nearly killed both by romeo and by the warden.

in my personal headcanon, this gives him a major fear of suffocation-- so he mainly stays away from things like water, sand, gravel, etc.. and has a lasting effect of extreme claustrophobia. but I feel like it also gives him more of a sense of duty towards jesse, because it really did mean something when radar was about to basically die.. and yet, when he got out, either he focused on the fact that jesse didnt take the deal or the fact that jesse promises that the admin and warden will pay for what they did to him.

What do you think the gang used to act like when they were younger? I’ll show you my headcanons.

I can imagine Jesse being a shy kid who befriends a carefree Olivia who has an enthusiasm for redstone, even to this day.

Petra and Axel would be those kids who gets into dumb shit and gets injured in the process. Someone who would be healing the both of them would probably know them pretty well and be like “FFS you guys, this is the fifth time this month”.

Since we know the one of the trailers had Lukas looking a cowboy, my headcanon is that when Lukas was a kid up until he met the ocelots was that he had a MASSIVE cowboy phase.

Axel would be that kid that everyone thought was scary except Petra, Olivia, and Jesse.

here are some of my ideas:

adding onto the fact that you said petra and axel would always be getting into shit.. yeah, I can see that. axel was always the jokester, but I feel that he'd also simply try to do EVERYTHING he's dared to just to prove a point-- and lose a good portion of the time (sometimes "everything" includes having mock battles with petra). axel would get hurt mostly from falling or accidents, while petra would get her wounds from the actual fights. petra would fight anything and anyone. she was also most likely more of a hothead when she was younger than when we see her.

taking to a much younger perspective, however.. the main four always would have little games where they'd act out the "legendary battle" between the order and the ender dragon-- everyone would be their favorite order member-- usually jess as gabriel, olivia as ellegaard, and petra and axel would switch playing the dragon. when petra was on the order team, though, jesse would allow her to be gabriel and he'd be soren... and axel, of course, always played magnus when he was on the order team. petra would play the dragon because she wanted the actual fight part of the game, and axel did it because he always loved throwing a big performance of the dragon dying-- especially when it would make the others laugh. it's so wholesome to think about axel dramatically "dying" as the dragon, and the other three break character in a fit of childishly amused giggles when he makes it a hundred times more of a show than it needed to be. it's also nice to think about petra and climbing up to a tree branch above the group to make a grand entrance as the ender dragon.. usually jumping down and "roaring" at them, then chasing them around.

How do you think the gang first met each other?

to be honest, their likely meeting was probably something along the lines of endercon. they have posters and talk about it a lot, so we can only assume they've been to more than one, right?

of course, this starts with the first three characters we see in the game-- axel, olivia, and jess. if they weren't just bystanders who happened to connect over one of the building competitions that they'd watched instead of partaking in (as at the time, they wouldn't have been a team or had teams), they most likely would have had their own little bits to try to impress people-- jesse with building or olivia with a redstone somethin' or other, etc.

it was also mentioned that petra hung out with them in the treehouse "all the time" in the past, and it seems like jesse and petra have the most history based on the way they talk and interact-- so jesse probably met petra first. of course, we also see jesse in the beginning of the game getting himself into quite a pinch-- having to be rescued by none other than the redhead warrior herself. something similar could have probably been how they'd first met, perhaps.. or, as we know, petra likes to give people what they need-- for a price. that's also something likely.

following that idea, say that petra probably connected with axel or olivia for that purpose before she knew who they actually were.. that is, until jesse brought them all together and they were like "hey, you're that girl that gave me ___!" or "hey, you helped me with ___!"

that's just my personal opinion based on what bits and pieces we're given of context in the game, though-- we don't see really anyones backstories.

rambling and random facts about my mcsm au because I'm hyperfixated on it!

disclaimer: none of this is canon to the mcsm universe and is only my au. this is going to be long.. so if you get bored of reading easy, whoops!

the general premise of this au is that the command block was alive (in the same way that skulk is, in a way?), and the witherstorm was actually a giant parasite. yes, I can hear some of you going "oh, man, here we go towards some generic zombie apocalypse au".. but I promise you this is different. I won't bore you with cliche love stories or that ONE character being like "omigosh, I'm immune!" and you knew it would happen because they're the main protagonist. I also won't explain too much of the actual au details because it's complicated and long (unless some of you want to hear about it.. wink wink).. so I'll simply tell you this: some of the cast-- including our beloved main character-- is mutated. think about hybrid creatures, or perhaps what the warden (deep dark warden, not the sunshine institute warden) would look like if it was more humanoid. yeah, that's them. with that out of the way, however.. here are some of my rambles and facts.

my favorite jesse skin is gsj (green suspender jesse), so my entire jesse design was initially meant to be paired with that skin. this also means that the canon jesse of this au is technically male (gsj). (I like to use they/them pronouns for canon jess-- yes, my nickname for them is 'jess'-- because the player can go male or female, but when I speak of this au I'll use he/they because I'm referring mostly to this canonically (in terms of this au at least) male-presenting character.) however, due to the changes I've made to the actual character.. he kind of stands along as his own skin now.

I've seen a lot of fanart of enderbeings and witherbeings in the minecraft community, so I made his design to kind of fit in with those-- not in the sense that i lacked ideas, but rather to have him fit into the fanon and have people at least somewhat recognize what he is. however, I have many unique designs elements that I saw from the actual game.

I make it sound like our protagonist has an official design... but in reality, I'm only in my first stage of designing him! he only has one concept design as of right now.. despite me having many ideas of how exactly he looks. that's just on the part of my art skills and me not exactly being good at drawing mcsm characters yet... my skill is pretty limited.

most of the armor choices in the au (for jesse, at least) are still the same! however, when we are speaking of jesse as a character, his favorite armors are slightly modified versions of 'ender defender' and 'dragonsbane'. he-- along with most of the cast-- agreed that these two armors fit with his color palette the best, due to his new color palette having a lot of blue and pink. YES, this jesse is very aware of fashion and what looks good on him.

in this universe, wither-sickness is called wither-infection.. since, y'know.. it's basically a wither-zombie apocalypse.

lukas and ivor co-wrote a journal! using ivor's studies of the wither-infection and lukas' journaling skills (along with his art skills, because he's somewhat of an artist in this au), they made a complete study of the stages and types of infection. they also have a part in the journal where they have brewing recipes for what specific potions help to slow the effects of wither-infection or at least make a person more comfortable if they're too far gone.

like canon mcsm, when the storm was vanquished, the people who were sick got better. however, in this au, the process was gradual (as the infection lost connection to what really kept it alive, and therefore slowly died). the mutants stayed as they were, since the infection caused physical changes to their bodies that couldn't be undone by natural means.

yes, ivor was the creator of the storm.. and yes, in a twist of fate and cruel irony.. he was, in fact, mutated. however, he had no idea that the command block was alive and would create an infection instead of simply a wither that he could control. due to this, when he saw both jesse and petra get mutated as well, he felt immense guilt and often has sleepless nights where he works tirelessly in his lab in an attempt to have some sort of cure for the mutation. these attempts have all been futile, and no cure has been made. all he can do is keep the others comfortable until their bodies get used to the additional changes that the storm brought upon them.

jesse was the last person to ever be infected.. and his actually came from when he was inside of the storm. instead of destroying the command block as what happened in canon.. the block actually fused with him in a last-ditch effort to save itself. so, naturally, he got very sick. wither-sick. this worried the absolute hell out of his friends, since "the storm is gone, he should be getting better and not worse!" I'll keep the story of his sickness short (unless someone wants to hear about it... wink wink v2), but the basic jist of it is that everyone thought he was gonna die, he got so sick he went into a coma for a few days.. and then he disappeared from the makeshift infirmary that they kept him in. when they found him again, he went from being a very, very sick human to not being as sick, but having undergone the mutation and looking completely different. that scared the everloving fuck out of everyone.. but then two days later, he woke up with no sickness whatsoever as if nothing happened. THAT part is still a mystery to ivor.

everyone who has been mutated experiences some pain for a while, since their bodies need to get used to the changes (as previously stated). a lot of the time, they also need to relearn some things-- walking, talking, coordination, etc.-- depending on what the mutation did to them.

aaaagh anyway.. I feel like I've made this just a bit too long, so if you want to hear more about this au, just put it in my asks and shoot out whatever questions you have. if you do so, please make sure to specify that you're asking me about this specifically by either blatantly stating it or saying something like "(wau) question", etc.

("wau" is short for wither au.. that's my very unoriginal placeholder name until I get a better one.)

If the gang does swear, do they do it in secret or do they just straight up just curse?

I can imagine that the more Jesse spend time around Petra or Lukas, the more comfortable they are with getting away with swearing.

I can see Olivia being the only one who doesn’t swear as much, hell, I’d even imagine her trying to stop herself from swearing unless it’s necessary for the situation while Petra is the complete opposite of that.

ivor and petra probably do so the most. petra would straight up scream profanities when it came to her being upset, such as when her and jesse are standing in the courtyard of the sunshine institute and she's ranting about the admin.

when it comes to jesse and lukas, I'd like to think that they don't do it as much.. but they still certainly slip a few words here and there. jesse, petra, and lukas totally all insult one another playfully.

axel... he probably swears, but I can imagine that he sometimes uses the total wrong words. however, spending a lot of time with magnus and griefers also means that he'll use words and slang that the others didn't even know existed. (this, assuming elle died)

you're so right about olivia, though. she wouldn't do it much, and only a few words would slip out on accident. she'll usually be the one telling axel to watch his mouth, tbh.. seeing as she has an almost motherly or big sister energy towards him (for example, when axel is about to touch the lava from ivors house, she smacks his arm away). olivia picked up her distaste for the more colorful language from ellegaard, as she probably holds some value that it's not an intelligent way to express feelings. (this, assuming magnus died)

because I'm a proud fan of familial dynamics.. I'll bring harper into this as well. harper uses profanities occasionally, and will usually lightly thwack ivor or get after the others if she hears them using that kind of language.

farmer gloria, I believe she's called? I had to look her up on the wiki to find an actual name for her.

she has such a good energy to her, and something about her just makes me REALLY like her. I also found a clip in an out of context video (since I wasn't able to find the correct scene in actual playthroughs).. and it's honestly just my favorite interaction. it's lighthearted, it's comical, it's wholesome, and it gives her a little bit of life.

I personally believe that she'd make really good family member material.

as a side note.. I fucking love f!jesse.. I don't care what people say about her, she's so sassy and lovely
