Tumblr media
Fear the Spotlight third-person survival horror adventure game launches on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to Cozy Game Pals for their amazing work and dedication. Available now on both Steam and itch. Plus 100% Positive reviews. Remember those old-school PlayStation 1 graphics that had a charm of their own? Well, Fear the Spotlight brings back those memories but with a modern twist. This third-person survival horror adventure isn't just about nostalgia; it's an interactive game. One that also draws inspiration from legends like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. The Fear the Spotlight story revolves around two friends - you and Amy. After being intrigued by supernatural mysteries, you both decide to delve into the unknown. So you perform a séance in your school after hours. But as you might expect, things don't go as planned. Suddenly, you find yourself apart from Amy, and you're going into an eerie part of the school. Which has also been shut off for years due to a heart wrenching fire incident. What makes Fear the Spotlight stand out is its attention to detail. It takes inspiration from a bygone era, the settings have a detailed design. The dilapidated hallways, rusting lockers, and the omnipresent foggy setting. Due to make you feel like you're truly there. Making your way through the ruins, with an obvious sense of urgency.

One of the unique features is the point and click mode. Unlike a typical horror title where you run and gun, here, you'll find yourself solving puzzles and interacting with the setting to find clues. Think of it as a clever blend of classic adventure meets suspenseful horror. Now, if you're used to battling monsters head-on, Fear the Spotlight offers a different kind of challenge. Instead of fighting, you'll need to strategize and sneak past these terrifying creatures. Since this adds an adrenaline pumping tension, as each step you take might be your last. Trust me, it's exhilarating! Try the Linux Demo on Steam. A special mention goes to the surreal soundscape that adds to the story. The subtle noises, echoing footsteps, and ambient music don't just play in the background. They also become a character in their own right, enhancing the overall mood. If you're wondering about its credibility, Fear the Spotlight was featured on the 2022 Haunted PS1 Demo Disc. An honour that only quality games get. Now, you might be thinking: such a comprehensive title must have be the creation of a big team. Fear the Spotlight is the brainchild of just two talented people. The passion and dedication are evident in every corner, every shadow, and every puzzle you encounter. Since they crafted this third-person survival horror adventure, with love. Dive in, unravel the mysteries, and embark on a nostalgic yet fresh journey. Fear the Spotlight is available now on both Steam and itch (plus a Steam code). Priced at $9.95 USD / £8.29 / 9,78€ with the 17% launch discount. Along with support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC.

Stellar Blade Half-Second Input Delay Due to 'Game's Style of Animation', Says Director
Stellar Blade is out today, and fans can finally play the full game to see what all the fuss is about. If you didn’t get a chance to try the demo or just wanted to go in fresh, it is worth knowing that the half-second input delay when parrying or dodging is a feature, not a bug, as the game’s director recently explained. Speaking to Japanese outlet 4Gamer (translated by Automaton, thanks, VGC),…

Conrack's looking a little more demony than usual and I'm stuck in a chamber with Loki himself. That's not the worst of what's happening though. No, the worst of it is that the GAME itself doesn't want me to finish it. BUT I WILL! FOR MIDGARD!! #rune #retro #viking #norse #pc

i'm just thinking abt how many providers i've had who heard my story abt psychiatric abuse + immediately individualized it. "oh, you're so smart + kind+ obviously sane! you didn't deserve that! i can't believe they gave you that diagnosis when you're obviously not like that! they shouldn't have treated u like that when all you did was xyz! they shouldn't have assumed you were crazy like that!"
there is always a third person haunting this interaction- the patient who does deserve that, who is "actually" that evilscary diagnosis, who did Have To be treated like that. if i want to soak up the affirmations of these providers, i must be careful to never become this third person. i must affirm myself by setting myself apart from her- i did not deserve to be treated like that because i am not like that.
i reject this. not only was i like that, she + everyone else like that deserve everything i deserve. they are my siblings + my friends + my lovers. i do not need to cut them out of me to believe i deserved better. i refuse to comfort myself through the lens of someone else's dehumanization. the tragedy is not that psychiatric violence was applied to someone who not insane enough to warrant it. the tragedy is the violence.

two protagonists
I just woke from a dream in which i play two different protagonists. They never appear in the same scene together. The first drove a VW camper through a building then out into the air. The final view of which switched to a third-person wide shot of the lurid green vehicle plummeting from a surely fatal height. Immediately after which the second protagonist first appeared on the scene, anxiously searching for the occupants of the VW camper.
In other words, the second protagonist first appeared, without explanation, after the first performed an action which would surely end in fatality. Later, i awoke at the moment when the second discovered that the first protagonist was not dead.
My first waking thoughts were...
< Do i look like a person who craps himself just from driving through a building?
< If you keep forgetting the closing tags on your Hyper Dream Markup Language, you might be. >
At which point i began writing this down.

Dave had never considered himself big. He may have noticed his clothes fitting tighter, his jeans unable to be held up by belts anymore forcing a switch to suspenders. He had to wear wifebeaters constantly under his clothes, the only thing that seeemed to stretch over his growing stomach while his wardrobe constantly rode up exposing him.
Still, he couldn't seem to see the weight that constantly packed on his body as a bad thing. He saw himself as a daddy, built, powerful and confident. He could feel it, his body filling with a kind of strength he never had before. He looked down, admiring his body.
His body had developed into a thick, round shape, the weight of his belly barely contained by the jeans he wore. His chest was broad and strong, his arms thick and chubby. His clothes fit every curve and every line of his form, his suspenders tight against the stomach pushing out his belly for all to see.
He took pride in his appearance, feeling content with the extra weight on his body. He felt it gave him a sense of power and authority, a king in his domain. He was a big daddy, and he loved it.

Lan Wangji Goes To Lotus Pier AU: Part 3: Enveloping Feelings.
(Part 1, Part 2, Part 4 (soon))
#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#lan wangji#Yungmeng Jiang training arc AU#I wanted to try out a different paneling style for this one - sorry I'm a day late! (there will still be a post tomorrow to keep on track)#The original 3 panel comic idea was fine but the point of this new schedule was to take time to push myself a bit more.#I was taking a look back through some comic artists I felt inspired by#and I really loved how Lynda Barry fills her gutters with patterns and doodles!#Obviously I'm not going as absolutely wild with it as she does but it was a great exercise!#I truly think the gutters are the most important and most overlooked part of any comic. There's lots going on in that space.#It's the same with timeskips. The implied movement between moments that we don't see changes depending on how wide that gap is#You're here for the funny tags so here's some that ties this time talk together:#I think LWJ was thinking about that second note from day 2 but it took him 7 days of hazing to commit it to paper.#I think he sends it a day later and immediately regrets it. Chasing down the messenger and everything.#You know if something actually happened to his brother he would never ever forgive himself for putting the bad vibes out there.#Third time skip was the hardest because there was so many possible flavours of jokes here. Day 8/9 was a personal favourite.#day 14 was also funny (week by week). I think the debate on 'how long does lwj take to catch feelings' is more or less:#'how long does it take for him to arrive at a particular stage of grief and yearning (and awareness of it all)#This is a symphony. There is an act by act structure. Every day he is fighting to keep his old sensibilities. He is losing so badly.#(I'll be returning to the main comic soon but there is more of this AU to come!)

yes the peacock miraculous obviously needs to be felix's and is extremely significant to him and there's so much poetry about the fact that he is the holder of the very miraculous that created him and him being the holder of it is deeply entrenched into the plot. HOWEVER.
