Immortal Ghost King Au:

Daniel Fenton was crowned as High King Phantom of the Infinite Realms on his 16th birthday. He knew many were opposed to him being crowned at such a young age (he was too), but the Realms had gone too long without a ruler and it was getting restless.

The Realms were sentient to some extent. It can not run itself as it has no form but it chooses a host, a King if you will, to fulfill its wishes. It may have lived on an entire millennia without a ruler, but it was only out of sheer luck and the contributions of countless gods that it had survived. The Infinite Realms needed a King and Danny Phantom was the only contender.

So the people were ignored and their boy king was crowned. However Phantom was young and naive, a child as both a human and a ghost. Even worse, he knew nothing about being a king. But the little godling would learn and learn he did.

Most kings were taught before they were coronated, but Danny had no such privilege. His coronation came and left with the wind. His private lessons overshadowed any thoughts he had left of mortal schooling. And Danny gave up on living a normal human life.

That last part was perhaps the easiest for Danny. Amity Park was already considered too liminal for them to have any “sentience”. The GIW had all but declared war on the Realms with their continuous violent actions upon his people and the land itself.

It wasn’t difficult for Amity to give up their “rights” and “humanity” either. They said good riddance to the world that never helped them, to the heroes that ignored their cries for help. And they bowed to Phantom, declaring him their King, just as he declared them citizens of the Infinite Realms.

He welcomed his liminals with open arms, vowing to protect them from any harm that would come their way, just as he would with any of his other citizens. He gave them a home in the Realms, an island- no a haunt of their own should they wish to truly reject the land of the living, and they accepted. Not many wanted to try their luck against the human government.

But with a God, no, their King on their side, they knew their safety and happiness was all but assured. After all, it was Phantom who protected them even as they turned their own backs at him. It was Phantom who fought against foes that could have erased him from existence.

And of course it was Phantom who would now receive any and all support he could ever want and need should he declare war against the humans of Earth. No, there was no need for people of the Infinite Realms to worry. High King Phantom was a God after all. It was only ever his right to exact divine punishment onto those who opposed and threatened his will. It was not their fault if the humans actively went against his will. No, the humans had no one but themselves to blame for whatever came for them.

#dc x dp #dp x dc #dc x dp prompt #dp x dc prompt #the infinite realms is home to more than just ghosts #like demons and other things too #it uses the king as its host to ensure its people’s survival and in turn makes the king a god #pariah dark went against the realms will #so he was sealed away and not killed because you can not kill an already dead god #the people of the realms were skeptical of having such a young king #but Danny’s a quick learner and turned out to be really good #amity park vs GIW wouldn’t be the first war he’s led #Danny gave himself a god complex bc people respect him more that way #it’s a mask he only uses outside of the realms #he’s acts normally when he’s with citizens of the realms #can a god even have a god complex??#amity park moved to the infinite realms after the GIW tried killing them all #JL and JLD are struggling trying to find a way to negotiate a peace agreement #but amity park feels abandoned and spiteful so they refuse #lucky for the JL that it’s Phantom who’s in charge #or maybe that’s the reason they’re not so lucky #amity found out Danny was a god and ran with it #this might be a good way to like make this into an arranged marriage au with a person of your choice #make Danny as old or as young as you want #Danny will do what he needs to make sure his people are safe and happy

to preface this post i am anti-advertising i think we should explode the entire industry but it's sooo funny when you people make posts like "and they don't even work!!" like. sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes they do. that's why we have to put up with so many despite everyone hating them and thinking its annoying. because they actually work really well and make a shit load of money

#it actually would be way better if they didnt work and made no money bc businesses would abandon them #this isnt like stocks where everythings abstract and is essentially gambling (i dont understand stocks)#like ppl in the ad industry create things. that make a tangible and quantifiable impact on the business #which is then used in further ad planning. it is NOT all smoke and mirrors #like its fake in that the industry is not providing a necessary service the way like. grocery stores are #but its not the level of fake where everything is abstract like theres deliverables #moreover there is an extensive body of academic work specifically on how to make ads more effective #ALSO i think some of u views ads like. as if they have a win condition. which is you buy product #but in current advertising this is pretty rare and comparatively ineffective #which is why you see MANY ads which dont seem to be selling anything in particular. or which have nothing all to do with the product #the 'win' condition for THAT kind of ad is something more like 'viewers remember our name'#like. ex i would say ads for temu have not been effective on me bc i havent bought anything from them #but temu probably thinks they were SUPER effective on me because i talked abt them like 5 different times at work #and i do in fact know exactly what the company does and what they sell #and they were able to capitalize on the reputations of existing companies (wish shein etc) to build their own brand #good idea generator

Somehow never caught this before, but does this imply Birdperson’s mom killed his dad and he remembers seeing it?

The fact this memory is somehow tied to Blood Ridge in his mind makes me wonder if that’s part of why he didn’t accept Rick’s advances— maybe even subconsciously. If that’s what this implies, no wonder he had commitment issues. Makes the shit with Tammy hit differently, too…

I know it’s a throw away moment, but I really hope we get a follow up on that… Regardless of what that memory is, it’s dark shit.

Left this abandoned in the drafts (which is a bit ironic) but it's a spin on this post, where instead of Apollo just being locked in some room on Olympus somewhere, he's bound to the ruins of an abandoned Ancient Greek city. Maybe somewhere near Delphi, maybe Troy, idk.

What's is Vasco's and Machete's blood type?

Maybe they like hook eachother up and die if they have incompatible blood types.

This has no bearing whatsoever and I'm picking these based on nothing.

It would be ironic if Machete was O-, which is the universal donor type. It can be given to anyone without adverse effects, which makes it very useful in cases of trauma and emergency when the receiver's blood type is unknown. But he wouldn't be able to donate because of his chronic anemia and low weight. Type O- can only receive O- blood.

I'm tempted to give Vasco O+. Over 80% of human population is compatible with it so it's always in high demand, and I like to think as a regular donor his blood would have extremely high chances of being put to good use this way. Type O+ can receive O+ and O- blood.

Neither of them are that uncommon, and it would be kind of funny if they had the same group by chance but were only halfway compatible.

#I'm not getting into blood type-personality type theories because I don't like those all that much #and I guess I'm trying to avoid the rare special blood groups since I feel like that could come across as needlessly gimmicky #especially when I'm not going to do anything with this information #I did think about the possibility of blood transfusion plotline at one point #because yes there is certain macabre romanticism and intimacy in voluntarily sharing your literal lifeblood #but they're a little early for that #european physicians started esperimenting with blood transfusions in mid 1600's but the results were poor and the research was abandoned #things picked up again when they discovered blood types in early 1800's and slowly figured it out from there #I'd be curious to know what show anon is referencing #answered #anonymous

ok now im gonna get into it. i really believe that the original plan for gotham war was that jason was gonna die. like honestly it would make a lot more sense than what actually happened

basically jason cant join the fight because of the fear adrenaline thing. so hes sitting around doing nothing, hears about the meteor so he takes the batwing and flies it into the meteor

and the page after this is an explosion. and i mean. the shit theyre saying is absolutely him talking like hes about to die. this is completely him believing that hes going to die after he does this. and bruce is talking to him like hes about to die too

we see him two more times after this:

and thats it. we see him seeing the explosion safely from a parachute, then we see him comforting bruce after selina's death. neither of these have any significant affect on the plot or character arcs. not to mention the fact that nothing with jason actually got resolved! he still has the drug boosting his fear response!

THEN. the only time jason is mentioned after this is here

this feels a little like "i wanted jason to have a peaceful life and now hes dead" i could just be making that up or reading things that arent there but like... it makes sense to me

like am i crazy or does it really seem like they were planning on killing him

My old glasses are really worn out, my eyesigh got worse and I'm still using the old graduation. I don't like how I look with them anymore either so it is time to change them (also because I can get a blue filter in the glasses to protect the eyes form screens light and I really need that, and this store has a 2x1 offer so I'll have an extra pair half the price just in case :3c)

The two girls working at the store were really nice and tried their best to help me :')

I spend an hour yesterday trying on glasses... I found two models that I liked right at the end. I just. really. hope. I don't regret my choice when the glasses are done and I try them on again.

I don't really get this take, it's not the first time I've seen it, and it's just... I don't even know.

green is the color of war for her house, but it's also just her house's color, and for a girl ripped up from her life as a hightower and made a Targaryen Queen of all things, she started wearing her house colors compared to her color (blue) or the Targaryen colors (red) probably to cling to some sense of normalcy and identity.

not only that, but from a costuming perspective the symbolism is right there, you're just missing it. it's not about war, that one dress had been war, that's why the comment is made. the color is Alicent no longer trying to be a Targaryen, no longer changing herself and ignoring the pain she's in, and instead being her own person despite her position. she starts wearing green instead of red, the two colors being opposites, when she stops trying to pander to her lost friend, stops trying to fit in and be this new person. she took a stand with that dress, she declared 'war' on this false identity and the fruitless effort she had put in to try and smooth the tensions in the family.

after that, the green is showing she remains herself, a Hightower. not a Targaryen.

I love her green, I love how she holds onto that piece of her, she doesn't let anyone take it or change it. she holds true to herself in this one simple way as to wear her house colors.

also how can you deem a character boring just based on the colors they wear... it's just such a boring and outlandish take.
