building off that rockstar Eddie Spotify Wrapped post I made last year here's a sequel because its that time of year again
Steve posts his Wrapped to Twitter under duress (Eddie makes him do it every year and Steve complains every year just because its a habit now) and he's of course in the top 0.001% of Corroded Coffin's listeners with a whopping 257,948 minutes of listening and some guy quote tweets him like "people who sleep listening to music and post crazy stats like this make being in the fandom feel like a competition and they just want clout"
Steve replies with a selfie of him and Eddie that he takes in the app because he's a tired old man and doesn't know how to work twitter, sorry X, and they're sat together on the couch so it was easy to do and he says "I'm not sure I need clout when I'm married to your idol"
Eddie and the guys lovingly refer to Steve as a clout chaser for a month and only stop once the Party try to join in and the joke immediately becomes unfunny to them

Sorry this took me so long was at a lack of ideas. I strongly believe Taylor Swift’s reputation deserved a Grammy. So I'm borrowing her album for the reader. Hope you like this.
Pairing : Tom Holland x Singer! Reader
Warnings : angst, fluff, jealousy, suggestive theme, missed typos
Mini Playlist : Endgame by Taylor Swift, There’s nothing holding me back by Shawn Mendes
Baby I'm jealous
Tumblr media
You and Tom were seated at the back when your limo pulled over at the venue. You could hear the commotion from the inside even though you have walked numerous red carpets by now but it still seems to be a little nerve racking to you. Especially when this is the first time Tom is accompanying you to the Grammys which is going to be a big deal for the media. The security personnel opened the door and as you stepped out of the car you were flooded with flashing lights from the cameras.
Tom held out his hand for you, you slipped your arm into his and walked with a dazzling smile posing for the cameras “you look amazing, darling” he knelt down to whisper in your ear. In the meantime a lady journalist came forward to ask you a bunch of questions.
“So Y/N three nominations this year, how are you feeling?”
“Well it’s always good to be back here and share the stage with all these talented artists as usual I’m excited and looking forward to the night” you answered.
“We see you have brought company this year” she remarked which had you blushing.
“Yeah, I couldn't think of a better company than him on this very important occasion” you said bashfully tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
“Tom, what do you have to say?” she poses the question to him.
“Uhh I mean she has always been an incredible singer and her songs are the reason that made me fall in love with her in the first place” he replied looking proudly at you.
“Aww you both are adorable. Wish you the best” she said before leaving.
“Thank you so much” you thanked her, walking inside the auditorium and sat on your designated seats. There you were met with lots of your friends from the music industry as you said hi and chatted with them for a while.
“Hey Y/N how are you?!” you heard Shawn from behind as you turned around and went to eagerly hug him. You and Shawn were really good friends from the beginning of your career and you have always been supporting each other’s works.
“I’m good, how are you?” you chirped.
“I’m fine now” he remarked cheekily and went to sit beside you as you started talking catching up on each other totally ignoring Tom. To be honest he was a little annoyed seeing you so over friendly with him but he brushed off his thoughts quickly.
The show began and a few awards were distributed with some performances in between by different artists. You too had to perform for tonight which also included a duet with Shawn and soon your time came as you stood up from your seat to go backstage.
“Best of luck, love” Tom said to boost your confidence.
“Thanks babe” you kissed on his cheek lovingly.
“See you on the stage Y/N” Shawn snickered.
“Oh I’m looking forward to it” you blew him an air kiss and headed backstage to change into your stage outfit. The stage was set and you could hear the loud cheers of the audience from backstage. Truth to be told you always get a little nervous before any public concert but this time it was different because Tom sat there in the audience and you are more excited than nervous to perform. The lights went out and the screen doors slid open as you walked on the stage with the spotlight on you. The notes begin to play as you vocalize striding across the stage with oomph.
I wanna be your endgame
I wanna be your first string
I wanna be your A-Team
I wanna be your endgame, endgame
The crowd cheered as the supporting dancers slowly entered the stage. Tom sat amidst the crowd in awe witnessing you in your full glory. You owned the stage like a queen. He knew you were the prettiest woman he has ever met but the bodycon suit you were wearing accentuated your curves all at the right places.
Big reputation, big reputation
Ooh you and me we got big reputations, ah
And you heard about me, ooh
I got some big enemies
You waltzed around the stage with a sultry look in your eyes, slightly swaying your hips making the crowd go crazy. Tom was very good at keeping his emotions under check but when it comes to you he’s a possessive man so when he heard a few men from the crowd passing comments of how hot and sexy you looked he was fuming from inside. You went on to sing two more songs from your album then transitioned to Shawn’s latest single.
You take me places that tear up my reputation
Manipulate my decisions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
“Make some noise for Shawn Mendes!” you cheered as he emerged from the backstage playing the chords on his guitar and the audience screamed at the top of their voice.
I wanna follow where she goes
I think about her and she knows it
I wanna let her take control
'Cause everytime that she gets close, yeah
He sang with his gaze directed at you which didn’t go unnoticed by Tom who was looking at you both with narrowed eyes and clenched jaws.
She pulls me in enough to keep me guessing (mmm)
And maybe I should stop and start confessing
Confessing, yeah
You joined in singing along the lyrics with him exchanging flirtatious gestures with each other. You encouraged the audience to sing along with you.
Oh, I've been shaking
I love it when you go crazy
You take all my inhibitions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
You take me places that tear up my reputation
Manipulate my decisions
Baby, there's nothing holdin' me back
There's nothing holdin' me back
There's nothing holdin' me back
You were clearly having a fun time sharing the stage with Shawn as you both swayed to the beat with a wide smile and the crowd cheered you on. Tom heard  someone saying “they make a good pair” and he completely lost it. Now he was jealous even though he knows it’s wrong because you had always made it clear that you loved him more than anything but you in that ravishing outfit dancing and singing being way too comfortable around each other wasn’t helping much.
Your performance ended after some time and Tom couldn’t be anymore happier. You were back in the audience again as Shawn couldn’t stop praising you “you just set the stage on fire Y/N! It was awesome”
“Oh shut up! You weren’t bad either” you quipped. Tom sat there silently feeling neglected at how you had time to talk with everyone except him. The show ended with you winning the three categories you were nominated for : album of the year, song of the year and artist of the year. You were elated at your achievements as your team escorted you for a photo session. You saw Tom standing at a distance and walked over to him.
“Why are you standing here? Come and stand with me” you said, grabbing his arm.
“No I’m better off standing here rather than being your arm candy” he says bitterly pulling out his arm from your hold.
“What?!” you were slightly taken aback as you looked at him in confusion.
“Hey Y/N!” your manager called out.
“Just a moment!” you told him to wait and dragged Tom to a corner.
“What the hell was that back there?” you hissed at him.
“You know it very well” you shrugged with a disinterested look on his face.
“I-I really don’t understand where this is coming from Tom but are you upset with something?” you were really concerned with his sudden outburst.
“Well isn’t that obvious? When your girlfriend brings you to a public event to treat you like a sidepiece and goes on flirting with her colleagues on stage it is naturally upsetting” he jabbed at you.
“Are you even listening to what you are saying Tom? Everyone here are my work friends just like you have” you retorted in a hushed tone.
“Well it looked more than just friends” he bit back.
“Now you’re being ridiculous” you were totally done with him, fuming at his accusation.
“Y/N come fast!” your manager called you again.
“Yeah coming!” you replied and turned to Tom again “you know what it was actually my fault that I brought you along with me. I thought we were ready to take the next step in our relationship but it clearly doesn’t look like that” you snapped at him and walked back to have your pictures taken. You were stopped by various people, for interviews as well as to congratulate you for your win but you were so annoyed with Tom you couldn’t concentrate properly.
Towards the end of the night, you had almost forgotten about Tom’s comments as you busied yourself into conversations with different people from the industry, sipping on champagne.
As soon as he cooled down Tom was quick to realize his mistake and tried to approach you several times, but you successfully ignored him by preoccupying yourself elsewhere. He eventually caught up to you, grabbing your arm before you could walk away “Y/N, please. Can we just talk for a second?”
“No I don’t think so because I’m quite busy flirting with each and every guy over here” you snapped, turning to walk away. He grabbed your arm again, “Y/N, c’mon love, I’m really sorry” he whined.
You whipped around “not now Tom. We will talk after we get out of here so if you will excuse me” saying so you walked away to be stopped by a reporter for another interview. The after party ended an hour as you and Tom exited the place. You climbed into the limo, quickly putting up the privacy window. Tom climbed in after you, taking a seat glancing at you.
“What?” you scowled, crossing your arms over your chest. You could tell he was really upset with what he’d said earlier.
“Y/N.. I can't even explain how sorry I am” he started “I know I was being a dick back there and I feel terrible about it”
You leaned back in your seat sighing “you know what, I'm really tired. Can we talk about this after we reach home?” He nodded silently in agreement without uttering a single word on the drive back.
Once you got home, you walked through the living room and made your way into your shared bedroom. You sat on the bed taking off your heels and massaged your ankles. After sometime Tom joined you in the bedroom. He takes off his suit jacket and loosens his tie as you stare at him for a second. He looked so good in formal attire which filled your head with filthy thoughts. How you could have celebrated your win in a different way but he had to ruin it by acting out like that.
“Y/N, I truly am sorry. I.. I have no excuse for my behavior. It was completely my fault” he walked over to you, sitting next to you on the bed.
You sighed deeply and stood up walking over to your walk in closet. Your hands went to your back to reach out to the zipper of your dress “I really didn’t expect this from you at least. Of all the people I thought you would understand since you are in the same line of work” you said with disappointment clear in your voice. Tom hung his head low in shame.
“I know babe it was rude and totally uncalled for. I was a fucking idiot and let my insecurities get the best of me” he said with remorse.
“Then just think about how I feel when I have to watch you making out with other women on screen. I never said anything to you. Instead I always supported you and you on the other hand questioned our relationship just because I was singing and dancing with someone else who happens to be a very good friend of mine” you ranted still struggling with the zipper of your dress “a little help please?” you huffed slightly irritated and angry.
Tom bit back a smile as he walked over to you and helped you unzip your dress. He took your hands in his and pecked on them gently “I didn't mean to ruin the night for you” he apologized, looking down at your hands.
You pulled out your hands and crossed your arms “well it wasn’t that bad given that I won three Grammys but I wished you were there by my side” you said completely forgetting that you were standing there in just your strapless bra and very tiny pair of lace underwear.
Tom was eyeing you the whole time with a known smirk plastered on his face. You noticed that and looked down at yourself “oh, c’mon. I’m trying to have a serious conversation here!” you scoffed, throwing your hands in the air. You shook your head in annoyance and grabbed the black silk robe, tying it around your body.
Tom was broken out of his trance as he walked over to you, placing a hand on your cheek “Y/N believe me I’m really sorry. I wish I could take back all the horrible things I said to you. You didn’t deserve any of it. Sorry for being such a jerk to you”
Your expression softened as you held his hand gently “well I’m glad to hear that. And even if I try I can’t stay mad at you for a longtime so apology accepted” you said with a smile.
“Thank you darling it would never happen again I promise” he says stroking his thumb on your cheek bone as he leaned in, pressing a kiss to your lips “and I mean it” he stated a hand reaching up to untie your robe as your robe fell open, your breath hitched “though it was slightly your fault too, how do you expect me to not get jealous seeing you with someone else looking so bloody gorgeous in that outfit?” he hooked his index finger under the silk on your shoulder, pulling the robe down slowly, leaving a trail of goosebumps on your skin “but I’m really sorry” he whispers in a husky tone.
“Then prove it” you looked at him challengingly, a smirk tugged at the corner of your lips. Without any further delay Tom crashed his lips to yours effortlessly lifting you up by your thighs as you wrapped your legs around his waist.

All These Years
@2inlove2thinkstraightcauseimgay I have decided to write you a really clichéd, predictable story the way you can always find them in a good, cheesy Christmas movie. Also, it is loosely based on a Taylor Swift song, which I think you will come to find in the end. I hope you like it! Merry Christmas!
A change of heart
The oven was on fire. Or rather, its content was.
I was alarmed by someone’s scream, expecting one of the typical problems you encounter during a Christmas workshop, like not having blue icing for the cupcakes, missing poinsettias for a Christmas flower piece, or the lack of actual Christmas music – I had been blaring the new The 1975 album instead. But then other people chimed in, an “OMG” here, a “What a disaster” there, and I knew it was something worse.
It was fairly easy to find the source of the drama in this relatively small space decorated with Christmas ornaments in every little nook and cranny. A handful of people stood there, gaping at the enormous flames setting the oven alight, none of them showing any intention to do something about it. I came breezing in, shooing people away.
“Please keep your distance, everyone,” I instructed. People scattered, all of a sudden realizing the severity of the thing they had been treating like a circus attraction. I turned off the oven and yelled at everyone to stay at a distance while I extinguished the burning flames.
I felt a sudden presence behind me. Annoyance rose in my chest, because I explicitly told them not to get too close – I wasn’t going to risk getting blamed for the burns of someone who hadn’t listened to me. I threw a quick glance over my shoulder and was met with a guilt-stricken face that I assumed belonged to the woman who was behind this attack on the Christmas spirit.
“I’m so sorry, I took my eyes off for one minute and – ” She opened and closed her mouth like a fish on the dry. “I promise it wasn’t intentional, honestly.”
I wasn’t paying much attention to her, but her comment made me chuckle. I wasn’t insinuating that she had done it on purpose, because I knew enough people who were a disaster in the kitchen to know it didn’t take much for such a thing to happen.
“You’re good, don’t worry. It can happen to the best of us.”
Only then did I get a good look at her. Her hair long, brushing her shoulders, panicked eyes that would have a nice shade of blue otherwise, and a completely over the top Christmas sweater that read, All the jingle ladies. She was beautiful.
I looked at her just that tad bit longer than need be, as I had this feeling that I couldn’t shake, one that told me I knew her from somewhere. I just couldn’t quite remember where from.
She pursed her lips, seemingly not believing that her clumsiness wasn’t causing me that much more trouble, and gave another apologetic smile.
Damn, I was in conflict. On the one hand, she was the kind of person you couldn’t not look at, but on the other hand, it was difficult to feel her attention on you for longer than five seconds and not look away.
“Do we know each other?” I wondered, furrowing my eyebrows. A blush crept up her face, making me think that we did.
“We went to middle school together,” she explained. “We had all our classes together, actually.” She bit her lip while confessing this, clearly uncertain about my reaction.
My eyes turned as big as saucers, because of course. Memories flashed in my mind of times when our paths had crossed. Those memories were always happy ones, but I just couldn’t remember if my heart  had always skipped in her presence the way it was doing right now.
Curious
That afternoon consisted of me picking up a book and putting it back down because I kept reading the same few words over and over again. The words just didn’t register, cause her name was put on a loop in my brain. I kept wondering and wondering, the memories of this morning playing through my mind, and I felt a spark in my chest every damn time. I had completely ruined the ends of my favorite blanket by plucking the little threads absentmindedly.
My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. My head shot up, and I tried to sneak a peek through the window to see who it was, but to no avail. I wasn’t expecting anyone, and as far as I knew, my mom hadn’t ordered anything online either.
I was met by the cold air instead of the person I expected there to be, twhich was odd given that doorbells didn’t usually ring themselves. I sighed and rolled my eyes, figuring one of the kids in the neighborhood was going around pushing people’s buttons. But then a shiny envelope on the doorstep caught my eye, protected from blowing away on the wind by a rock from my parents’ garden. I scanned the street and cars to make sure this wasn’t part of the prank, but I couldn’t make out anything suspicious, so I picked up the mysterious package. There was no return address, but it did have my name on it. After throwing a final glance on the streets decked in Christmas decorations, I closed the door, trying to keep out the cold.
My curiosity survived the wait just long enough for me to go sit at the kitchen table. I tore open the envelope, eager to see what was inside. It was a simple white paper inked with black letters.
Christmas calls for honesty
Even if the truth is hard to speak
I call it out so blatantly
And mutter it against your cheek
You are the highlight of my day
As you take my breath away
Yet you are unaware
As I see you pass me by and stare
That you are all I think about
But I daren’t yet say that out loud.
       - Secret Santa
My heart was beating like a madman in my chest, not knowing what to do with this new information or what to think of it. I must’ve read those words a million times, because when I finally managed to put down the paper, I could cite them by heart. I kept on reading them because every word that this person wrote felt familiar in a way, and the things they said gave away that they knew me. But I couldn’t for the life of me think up one person who fitted the profile.
And so I knew that I only had one thing to do: wait for tomorrow to come around and hope that it would bring more answers than questions.
Crazier
Unfortunately, it didn’t. Nor did the day after, or the day after that. I found a package at the door every day, but they never gave me the puzzle pieces needed to complete the puzzle, they just made the puzzle bigger. Up until now, this person had left me a book by my favorite poet, a mixtape of songs of artists I listened to a few years back but lost sight of, and poems. A handful of poems, always more beautiful than the one before, taking my breath away with the way they chose their words so carefully, so delicately.
This was a person who knew me, who knew where my heart was. Yet here I was, completely oblivious to their identity, and I felt like I didn’t deserve whoever was behind this, because there they were with their grand gesture, and I was completely clueless.
I had sounded out my best friend on the subject, figuring that maybe she had caught wind of someone who may be behind these gifts, but she couldn’t think of anyone significant either.
Every day, I wished more and more for Christmas Eve to come along to see if my Secret Santa would remain to be secret or would reveal themselves.
Lostmyhead
Travelling was my cup of tea, it really was, but at this point in time, it was one hell of a road block. I was stood here surrounded by suitcases of both me and my parents, ready to take off to England for our holiday vacation, but my heart wasn’t in it.
My head was occupied by the stack of letters and poems stacked under my pillow, for safekeeping. And then my heart, right next to it, confided to someone I didn’t even know the name of.
I knew it was a long shot, but I was sending up little prayers to whomever was up there for this mysterious person to come early today. It would be mortifying to have to leave before discovering who had been sending me things for over a week now.
I heard the ticking of the clock on the wall, notifying me of every second wasted on waiting. I was stood by the front door like a maniac, desperately waiting for a sign. My parents were still in town, running a couple of errands before we were ready to go. I had the book and the mixtape that I had been gifted tucked safely in my bag for the long drive.
Only after five seconds did my brain register that the doorbell was, in fact, ringing. Alarms were going off in my head, but I was paralyzed. Completely frozen in time.
The sound of knuckles on our front door was what snapped me out of it. I reached out my hand to turn the lock, and it looked like the hand that belonged to anyone but me. I held my breath as I opened the front door, my mind racing through pictures of memories of people that could be on the other end.
“Hi,” she said. The girl from the Christmas workshop. Of course. I remained silent, my eyes scanning her every move. I noticed that she was pulling the sleeve of her Christmas sweater, a tick that gave away her nervousness.
We were stood there in silence, the only thing between us the gifts she had left me and how everything just made sense all of a sudden.
“It’s you,” I stated, trying to gather my thoughts and utter a sentence that made even the slightest of sense. But I couldn’t.
She tucked her hands in the pockets of her warm coat and shrugged. “For years now, I’ve been seeing you around town, going about your business, wondering if I ever crossed your mind at all. And then I saw that you were doing the Christmas workshop and signed up for it. I was thrilled to find out that you remembered me.”
I was utterly flabbergasted at the words that left her mouth, kicking myself for never noticing. “But why not walk up to me before? I would’ve loved to talk to you, honestly.”
She wove my comment away, an easy smile playing on her lips. “I guess I wanted the moment to be perfect. I wanted you to really know how I felt, because there’s something I forgot to tell you all those years ago.”
She looked at her shoes, shy for a reason only known to her own mind. I felt a shift in the air, the way it always did when significant feelings hung in the air.
“I was enchanted to meet you, and I still am every time.”
An enormous smile broke on to my face as I admitted, “For what it’s worth, I was enchanted to meet you, too.”

Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry: The Complete Timeline of Their Feud
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's pop star feud just keeps on giving!
Over the past few years, these famous frenemies have seemingly used their beef as songwriting material, addressed their differences in interviews and have gotten their squads involved.
Here's a look back at how the feuding first began and how it's progressed:
Sept. 8, 2014: Taylor Swift's Rolling Stone Interview

Prior to Swift's revealing Rolling Stone tell-all, Perry and Swift appeared to be friends, gamely posing at awards shows together.
But Swift had everyone talking ahead of the release of her GRAMMY-winning 1989 album, thanks to her quotes to Rolling Stone magazine, in which she revealed that she had a feud with a fellow pop star, which inspired her hit song, "Bad Blood."
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift said. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"
"She did something so horrible," she continued. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
Several internet commenters then noted that Perry did lure a few backup dancers away from Swift's tour as she embarked on her own Prismatic tour in 2014. However, according to one of the dancer's agents, the dancers "exercised a 30-day out in their contracts and left Taylor, but Katy didn't steal them."
"They just didn't want to tour with her anymore because there is basically no choreography or dancing in her show," the agent claimed.
While Swift did say that the feud had nothing to do with a boy, both previously dated singer John Mayer.
Sept. 9, 2014: Katy Perry Calls Swift a 'Mean Girl'
Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing...
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) September 9, 2014
Perry didn't shy away from Swift's Rolling Stone comments, tweeting the next day: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
In January 2015, Perry confirmed the tweet was pointed at Swift.
"If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it," Perry told Billboard magazine when asked if her tweet was about the "Shake It Off" singer.
May 23, 2015: Taylor Swift Will Never, Ever Talk About Katy Perry Again
In an interview with The Telegraph, Swift made it clear she was over Perry. "I'm not giving them anything to write about," she said when asked about about her nemesis. "I'm never going to talk about her in my interview. It's not going to happen."
Swift did, however, confirm she had her "enemies" in the business. "It's not real if someone appears to never have any issues with anyone," she explained. "I have my friends. I have enemies."
July 22, 2015: Katy Perry Hits Back at Taylor Swift Amid Her Nicki Minaj Beef
Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman...
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 22, 2015
The pop star feud was resurrected when Perry jumped in on the Twitter beef between Swift and Nicki Minaj over the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominees.
"If I was a different 'kind' of artist, 'Anaconda' would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well," Minaj tweeted, getting vocal about her VMA snub. “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year."
Swift took the tweet personally, responding, “I've done nothing but love and support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other.”
Perry then chimed in with a devastating tweet referencing "Bad Blood."
"Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..." she wrote.
July 27, 2015: Taylor Swift Throws 'Left Shark' Shade at Katy Perry

— Jillian ❤🎤🎧 (@Swifty448) July 26, 2015
Swift appeared to be back at it again later that month, seemingly trolling Perry during her Foxborough, Massachusetts, stop as part of her 1989 world tour. Her performance of "Bad Blood" curiously featured a cameo from a life-sized shark mascot -- a not-so-thinly veiled dig at Perry's Super Bowl dancer-turned-internet meme.
July 13, 2016: Calvin Harris Brings Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's Feud to the Forefront

— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 13, 2016
Time, the ultimate truth teller.
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) May 9, 2015
Swift's ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris, brought up Swift and Perry's bad blood when he slammed the singer on Twitter. Harris was upset after Swift's rep confirmed that the singer wrote his and Rihanna's summer hit, "This Is What You Came For," under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg -- when the two were still a couple -- and after Swift began dating actor Tom Hiddleston, who she broke up with that same year.
"Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," he tweeted, after initially praising Swift. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."
"I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it," he continued.
Perry later tweeted out a GIF of Hillary Clinton shooting out an epic "I told you so"-look shortly afterward.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Perry then retweeted her own tweet from May 2015, where she wrote, "Time, the ultimate truth teller."
Sept. 10, 2016:  Katy Perry Would Collaborate With Taylor Swift Under One Condition
if she says sorry, sure!
— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) September 10, 2016
Perry was looking for an apology after a fan asked her on Twitter: "Will you ever collab with Taylor Swift?"
She surprisingly tweeted back: "If she says sorry, sure!"
Oct. 26, 2016: Katy Perry Rocks Out to Kanye West's 'Famous' Taylor Swift Diss
Perry once again rekindled the pop star feud while celebrating her 32nd birthday at Kanye West's concert in Inglewood, California. She even shared a video of herself dancing along to the rapper's now infamous Swift diss in "Famous."
May 20, 2017: Katy Perry Calls "Swish, Swish" an 'Anthem' Against Bullying
Though Perry never mentions Swift in her song, "Swish, Swish," the track is clearly slamming somebody, and of course, fans couldn't help but notice that that "swish" isn't so far off from Swift.
"From a selfish or a sheep/ Don't you come for me/ No, not today/ You're calculated/ I got your number," Perry sings. "'Cause you're a joker/ And I'm a courtside killer queen/ And you will kiss the ring/ You best believe."
"So keep calm, honey, I'ma stick around/ For more than a minute, get used to it," she continues. "Funny my name keeps comin' outcho mouth/ 'Cause I stay winning."
"I think it's a great anthem for people to use whenever someone's trying to hold you down or bully you," Perry told Jimmy Fallon about the song during her appearance on The Tonight Show. "That's kind of what this record is about. It's just like [a] 360-degree liberation. ... I think 'Swish' represents the liberation from all the negative that doesn’t serve you."
Of course, some of Swift's pals definitely didn't see it that way. Ruby Rose took to Twitter to defend Swift and slammed Perry, writing: "Purposeful poop" to 'bomb a petit' to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make 'Wit..I mean 'fetch' happen."
"I've always stood up for the people I love and against things I think are cheap or mean spirited. That's not new. You have to follow your ❤," the actress continued. "I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer."
May 22, 2017:  Katy Perry Claims Taylor Swift 'Started' Their Feud and 'It's Time for Her to Finish It'
Perry didn't hold back during her Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden, addressing the beef head-on.
"Honestly, it's really like she started it and it's time for her to finish it," Perry said after the Late Late Show host asked her to clear things up. "She wouldn't speak to me. I do the right thing any time that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I'm like, 'OK, cool, cool, cool. That's how you wanna deal with it?'"
"But, what I wanna say is that I'm ready for that B.S. to be done," she added. "Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something and there's going to be a reaction. And trust me, Daddy, there's going to be a reaction. It's all about karma."
It should be noted that "Swish Swish," coincidentally, has a line about karma, where Perry croons, "Karma's not a liar."
June 8, 2017: Katy Perry Slams Taylor Swift for 'Trying to Assassinate' Her Character
Perry wasn't quite done talking about Swift. In an interview with NME, she gave background on why she decided to address the feud with Corden.
“I mean, I’m not Buddha -- things irritate me,” she said. “I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [her fans]. That’s so messed up!”
June 8, 2017: Taylor Swift Puts Entire Song Catalog Back on Streaming Services -- Right When Katy Perry's Album Drops
Actions speak louder than words. Though Swift has stayed silent on Perry's comments about her, she announced on June 8, 2017 that her entire song catalog would return to all streaming services at midnight -- just when Perry's Witness album dropped.
Perry was later asked about whether the move bothered her during an interview with the Today show's Natalie Morales. "I don't know, I can only do me," Perry replied. "All I need to say to her is I love her, and God bless her on her journey. And that’s it."
June 10, 2017: Katy Perry Is '100 percent' Ready to 'Let Go' of Feud
Perry made it clear that she was ready to make amends with Swift during a conversation with Arianna Huffington, which was live streamed to promote Witness.
"I'm ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 percent," Perry said of the longtime beef. "I forgive her, and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it's actually... I think it's time."
"There are bigger fish to fry, and there are bigger problems in the world," she continued. "I love her and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter, and like, I think that if we both, her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go, like, 'Yeah, we can do this.' Maybe I don't agree with everything she does, and maybe she doesn't agree with everything I do, but like, I just... I really, truly, want to come together, and in a place of love and forgiveness, and understanding and compassion."
June 12, 2017: Katy Perry Changes a Key 'Swish, Swish' Lyric
Perry backed up her conciliatory quotes by pointedly changing a few lyrics while singing "Swish Swish" during an outdoor concert for her fans. Instead of singing the line, "Don't you come for me," in the first verse, Perry sang, "God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl."
July 19, 2017: Katy Perry Says She's 'Always Loved' Taylor Swift Despite Their 'Differences'
Perry wasn't done trying to make nice with Swift.
In an interview on Australia's Today show, Perry reiterated that she had love for the singer. "I mean, I love her, I always have," Perry told host Richard Wilkins. "We've had our differences, but I just continue to say, 'God bless her on her journey.'"
While Swift never acknowledged Perry's compliments, Twitter was abuzz that the ladies would finally put their beef behind them at the VMAs. After all, Swift did so with West at the 2015 VMAs when she presented the Video Vanguard award to the rapper, and when she jumped onstage to open the show with Minaj after their Twitter feud that same year.
However, Swift did not end up attending the 2017 VMAs.

Like Swift's "Bad Blood" music video, Perry enlisted a bunch of celebrities to star in the music video for her single, "Swish, Swish," her diss track widely speculated to be about her frenemy. The release was ahead of Swift dropping her first single, "Look What You Made Me Do," off her album, Reputation.

While Perry hosted the VMAs, it was Swift that got people talking with her shade-tastic music video for "LWYMMD."
Main moments of shade include Swift made up in a way that could be described as “Katy Perry-esque” and wrecking a car (complete with a Katy-cat in the front seat).
March 17, 2018: Karlie Kloss Addresses Taylor Swift Feud Rumors After Hanging Out With Katy Perry
The model-turned-tech philanthropist was longtime friends with Swift, and opened up to The New York Times after fans started speculating that she was now Team Katy. After all, the girls was spotted hanging out together a month prior.
"Don't believe everything you read," Kloss said simply.

During a montage segment of Idol hopefuls auditioning for the panel, Perry's fellow judge, Luke Bryan, asked one scruffy, guitar-carrying singer, who he looks up to as a musical artist. "I'm sorry for this Katy… Taylor Swift," the hopeful answered nervously.
"Oh, you don't have to be sorry," Perry replied.
"I love Taylor Swift," the contestant added, emphatically.
"I love her, as a songwriter, as well," Perry stuttered, before shrugging indifferently.
Will these two ever make amends? Here's more on the feud:
May 8, 2018: Katy Perry Sends Taylor Swift a Literal Olive Branch:
It appears the feud is finally over. Swift shared a video of an olive branch and a note from Perry on her Instagram Stories on May 8, one night before her Reputation tour kicked off. The note is addressed "Hey Old Friend," and a closer look at the handwriting shows that Perry apologized to Swift.
"Hey old friend, I've been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the feelings between us, I really want to clear the air," the note reads.
Swift was clearly pleased by the gesture.
"So, I just got back to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch," she says in the video. "This means so much to me."
"Thank you Katy," the text on the video also reads, along with pink heart emojis.

A source told ET that Perry gave her apology to the "Gorgeous" singer a lot of thought before sending it, and has been wanting to bury the hatchet for a while now.
“Katy planned a very personal, sweet apology and took time to write a kind note in hopes Taylor would see how much she cared about putting this behind them,” the source said. “Katy told friends if Taylor didn't accept this apology, she would keep trying because she is done holding on to the past and wants to be part of the change in today's society. She wants to set a good example for women, so she planned to never give up, if that is what it took."
“Katy hopes they finally can be supportive of each other's music and maybe one day soon even hang out together again," the source added. "Katy realizes they need to take it one day at a time, but that this is a great start.”
