When Nico ran away at the end of ttc, Percy searched the country for him. He took of running in the Labyrinth at a clue that Nico was nearby.
When Percy went missing after PJO, Nico shadow traveled across the US looking for Percy. He was so desperate that Hades eventually stepped in and pointed Nico to camp Jupitar, where Percy would eventually show up.
This is just one of the many, many parallels between Percy and Nico and its driving me nuts.

the thought of pav having a HUMONGOUS amount of squishmellows is SO ADORABLE! LIKE-
Imagine he gave one to Hobie and while he claims that he “doesn’t like it” he actually keeps hidden somewhere safe 🥹😆
I can also see him giving some to miles and gwen as well (to which miles ADORES). They would be squishmellow buddies fr.
In conclusion, I love these four sm

Hazel remembers the second Praetor.
When she was dumped with the 5th, the campers escorting her were amused that she was in the worst cohort.
But he was there waiting for her, with a welcoming smile.
He introduced himself simply, showed her around.
And without realising it became integral to her life.
Hazel remembers how his voice was always soft.
But didn't lack any strength, if anything it made people listen to him closely.
He didn't yell unless he was truly angry, which was a rare sight.
He got mad once, pissed when some campers tried to take a victory from her.
Dared to insinuate she was weak.
The growl should've been warning enough but they continued.
They ended up with claw marks on their cheeks, spent 2 weeks cleaning the bathrooms.
And hadn't said a word to her since.
He was kind, he would give her constructive criticism as she began her training.
And every sparr he'd congratulate her, even if she lost a lot at first.
But it never felt an insult, only a reminder that she was strong and she could do it.
To the point she believed him.
He'd always make room for her when he'd see her on her own.
Always stood up for her, even if it was her fault.
"No one gets left behind" he said, and she believed him. The world was strange and this place even stranger.
But he was a constant pillar.
The first time he referred to her as a friend still makes her smile.
She'd gotten to know her brother, and she thinks she's found another.
So yes, Hazel remembers Jason Grace.
She wouldn't have forgiven herself if she forgot.
He was lost, but she'd find him.
She always had a gift for finding what was precious.
