Isabella Ramot has 3 canonical nicknames, two of which you'll already know:

Izzy - Friends call her Izzy

Bells - This is exclusively Crosshair's nickname for Isabella.

Bella - This is what Isabella's parents and brother used to call her, so she will not accept this nickname anymore. If you call her this, she shuts it down quick and is one of the few times you'll see her get aggressively firm.

Isabella worked as a part of an Emergency Civilian Response Unit after the Clone Wars began. She wanted to do her part to help others. Fun fact: Her dissertation, a requirement to finish her schooling as a licensed Medic, was on the theoretical manipulation of genes to reduce the effects, or eliminate entirely, select cross-species diseases.

This is also (Spoiler alert) what the Empire was trying to recruit her for. If she had accepted, she would have worked in the same department as Doctor Hemlock, though not directly with him.

Her brother, Daneel, actually attempted to convince Isabella to agree and join the Empire, they used him as bait to try to trap her, but she escaped.

Isabella has had 3 previous long-term relationships - one was as a teen, and it was little more than a shallow teen romance. The next was at the beginning of her Medical training and they were... seeing multiple people without any of their knowledge. She was hurt, but realized they didn't add much of anything to her life. The third was during her first residency, he was slightly older than her and used that to manipulate her. He was aggressive and forceful, but would shower her with gifts and affection, trying to prove to her that he loved her. He got into a fist fight with her brother, which helped to break her out of his manipulation and that ended her interest, for the time being, in romantic pursuits. The shocking revelation of Freeland's willingness to sacrifice the rights of peaceful anti-regime protesters to look like a good ally of Ukraine was buried in her interview summary with the Public Order Emergency Inquiry. The POEC, headed by Justice Paul Rouleau, was the official examination of the use of martial law via the never before used Emergencies Act to end the weeks-long peaceful Freedom Convoy in February 2022. A cross-border vaccine mandate for truckers catalyzed the Freedom Convoy after two years of the pandemic, and it grew into a large-scale human rights movement which demonstrated peacefully in Ottawa for three-plus weeks until the use of the Emergencies Act enabled mass arrests, warrantless property seizures and the freezing bank accounts of participants, supporters and organizers. Freeland cackled as she announced the freezing of financial assets for protesters as though they were Al Qaeda financiers. Freeland told the POEC lawyers that optics were her main reason for the crackdown, not an unmanageable national security crisis as the Liberals have previously claimed. According to the POEC report: /DPM Freeland also pointed out that if Canada’s capital had still been occupied when Russia invaded Ukraine, in her view, such a situation would have completely discredited Canada as an ally in support of Ukraine. Russian media would have been focused 24/7 on what was occurring in Canada, which would have made Canada appear very weak at a time it needed to be strong./ /Further, it would have made it very difficult to take action after the invasion./ /This was another significant factor in DPM Freeland’s mind: there were dates circulating about when exactly the invasion would happen, such that from early February, she was constantly wondering whether it would occur on a given day./ Russia didn't fund the truckers as previously alleged by crazy people at the CBC. Personal Impression: The Rebel.

A 43 episodes of intense spy drama starring Zhu Yilong! 

The Rebel is my fully first spy drama to watch. I always avoid the genre because I know there will be a lot of tragedies happening. But, somehow I stick through the whole 43 episodes without even skipping any scene. 

It’s the power of Zhu Yilong. (^^)

My personal view, Zhu Yilong is really awesome in The Rebel. His micro expressions once again have caught my attention. I can feel his character emotions so well, I sympathize with him, I cried with him, I worried about him, I can feel his distress. Watching Zhu Yilong as Lin Nansheng made me remember why I like him from the first sight. His acting skill is really superb. While I was enjoying his performance as Lin Nansheng, I also can’t help myself to scream and adoring his charming and handsomeness (X3).  

I also give my standing ovations to the rest of the casts. Each characters are really interesting and being deliver so well by the actors and actresses. I sympathize with the characters. I even couldn’t hate the bad people (XD). 

Each episodes are really intense. The story makes me sit through every episodes. Wondering what would happen, how the characters would survive (or not), the strategies. Although there were also plot holes, but it doesn’t ruined the whole story. It’s still exciting and intense! 

List of my memorable scenes in The Rebel:

1. All of Lin Nansheng crying scenes. Especially when he quickly wiped his tears as he gives his gun to Mr. Gu. I can feel how desperate he was. Zhu Yilong is really superb doing the scene that made me stunned in silence for a moment. 

Lin Nansheng crying without mouthing a sound after Lao Gu was shoot to death was also superb. The pain that he can’t let out so he just cried without making a single sound was really painful to see. Bravo, Zhu Yilong.  

2. Quiming death scene. There were several others heart breaking death scenes: Lao Gu, Lao Ji, and Mrs. Lan, but for me, Quiming death was the worst. Even I hate it when the scene suddenly come up in my mind. 

3. Lao Gu’s smile after Lin Nansheng acknowledge him as a comrades. Lao Gu smile twice at Lin Nansheng, the two sincere smiles I’ve seen from Lao Gu in the whole episodes. 

4. Lao Ji calling Lin Nansheng with “Xiao Lin”. Lao Ji is like a father figure for Lin Nansheng and Yizhen. He’s so tender to both of them. Lao Ji understands and acknowledge the deep feeling between the two love birds, and he assured them that they will see each other again someday. 

The final episode was kind of rush, I think. But, it’s okay since it's an happy ending (for me). Lin Nansheng truly deserved an happy ending after all the pain and suffering he has gone through. I’m glad my first ever spy drama doesn’t give a bad ending (X3).
