To be held... such a necessary feeling.

Loneliness... such a desperate feeling.

I was made to be around people,

And to come home to a quiet room

And your arms to hold me as I sleep.

In these walls I am contained,

Disease holds me to my bed,

But I visit landscapes in my brain.

My imagination takes me to traveling,

Even if it only happens in my head.

But I will get better, I will rise sharper and stronger

And the shore, that has been waiting for me

Thought all these years,

Will embrace me and drag me to the ocean,

I will let the salt wash away the pain

Let the sun cauterize the wounds.

The only place where I feel complete calls and screams for me,

And I will obey her calling, I will be by the ocean, to let my pain go, to be free.

Time to let the ocean embrace me.

Time to find company among the waves,

Never to feel alone again,

Forever caressed by the loving water.

whenever right wing people talk about “parental rights” they are talking about property rights. they are arguing for further political and legal enshrinement of their children as their literal actual property

#I also wonder if this is like a middle class expression of a desire to shore up other property rights eg homeownership #like homeownership is a foundation base for the nuclear family. property rights allow you to own the resource #that produces the family and allows it to be ‘private’ #so like children are another frontier of this property relationship #anyway. bad time to be a trans person lol #& all the actual legitimate issues w/ parental rights ie indigenous genocide forced sterilisation mass incarceration the foster system etc #are not even remotely concerns for these people because well. they’re fash lol
