Crows Of Judgement Onision Interview Part 3
January 18, 2021
James says the doc will show tweets and write "actual tweet" under it, but show no proof of the original. James says the belly photos they showed of Kai were from his Instagram. He says there is a question of if they were even sent or if they were taken from Instagram. Someone says documentaries use deception.
James asks if they think it's weird it's been a year and the FBI and police never talked to him? The host says no because he thinks James knows exactly what the laws are where he lives. Host says the documentary doesn't establish anything close to criminal behavior and they admit the laws aren't caught up to the internet and James didn't do anything he could be prosecuted for. James asks if the laws were modern, what would he be prosecuted for?
James asks why do they call him a predator? He says it's life destroying when the Pierce County sheriff says he's a predator. Someone says the sheriff also said they were looking for real witnesses and victims. James says the sheriff called Sarah, Shiloh, all those people not real victims. (Their department didn't have contact with any of them when he said that.)
James says the contract they tried to get him to sign releases him of any way to sue them. He says they wanted him to sign so they could say whatever they want about him. Someone says Edwin had to sign a similar contract. James says that's cool if they got the same contract because that would mean it was less malicious.
The host asks how many women have accusations against James? James says 4 or 5 women accused him of being emotionally abusive. He says zero women accused him of beating them, sexual harassment, rape, sexual assault, an actual crime. James says they accused him because he kicked them out of his life. He asks them to name a single person who accused him who he didn't kick out of his life. The host asks if they could be mad at him for the way he treated them? James says he's mad at Billie for the way she treated him. The host asks again and James says anyone can be mad at someone for how they treated them if they want to perceive it a certain way.
James asks why did the majority of women accusing of him not go on the documentary? The host asks why didn't James go on the documentary? James says because they wanted him to sign away all his rights so he couldn't sue them. The host is talked over by James, but I think he's saying the women could have not gone on for the same reason.
James said the goal of the documentary was obvious, praising Chris Hansen and Steven Asarch. He says it was executive produced by Steven, who he doesn't trust. He says Steven argued with him about where he was during 9/11 and still keeps up a slanderous article about him. James asks why Edwin was on the documentary when he doesn't like Shiloh? He says Shiloh said she was going to kill herself in relation to him. Says Edwin thinks Shiloh is a liar and doesn't like Chris Hansen.
Someone asked if James has any regrets? He says when Sarah told them her mom beats they helped her out. He says she admitted they kept her away from drugs, hard situations at home, and illegal activity. She shits on them anyway. He says his biggest regret was not being able to see those people coming and avoid them.
James says he is in the process of seeking legal action against a certain person. He says it's hard because lawyers don't want bad Yelp reviews. The host says lawyers like money. James says he doesn't have a lot of money or income. He's trying to get a lawyer to be interested, but it's controversial.
Someone asks if James can see why people have a horrible opinion of him of Youtube. James says he had no idea what people were saying because he didn't watch 99% of hate videos. He would keep to himself in his Discord server. He says he doesn't think he's seen a full Repzion video. He says he was blown away when he saw the documentary. They were making him out to be Charles Manson, but they wouldn't even say what he did.
The host asks if it's correct that James filmed Shiloh having a seizure and uploaded it to Youtube. James says Shiloh told him to upload it. He said he was tired of her episodes so he recorded it to show her. He told her he could upload the video to help people who are going through that and he could go to sleep or he could stay up all night and make another video. She told him she wanted to go to sleep with him. He says when it went online and everyone was freaking out, he went "oh, that's interesting." Someone asks so the decision was should I stay up all night or do you want me to upload your seizure? James says "yes, that's how stupid the decision was." He says he was told Shiloh said in a video on Tumblr she was fucking with him, but it was conveniently taken down. (That didn't happen. There was no tumblr video and she never said that.) He says the video her ex boyfriend made about her trying to put him in jail is also conveniently taken down. She was threatening to put a knife in someone's text. He says if you only watch anti-Onision videos, he looks like the most insane mother fucker on Earth.
James says at the end of the seizure video, they were laughing together and fucking around in the kitchen. The host asks about how it would help people, if he provided a link? James says throughout the video there was text on the screen describing what was going on. James says there was a part of the video where Shiloh points out a family member and says they're not dead. He says if she lost her memory, how did she remember they died? She says her mom looked old, but how did she age that much in three years? (He explained in the actual video that her mom lost a lot of weight, so she looked a lot older.) He says that's what makes him believe the tumblr video. He says her ex talked about the fake seizures too. The host says he just skimmed through the video and he doesn't see where James told people where to go for support. James says he didn't tell people go for support, he said there was a narrative. The host facepalms. James laughs and asks "what's up?" The host says he doesn't know how James thought that was appropriate. James says he was used to abnormal behavior in that relationship. He called the cops on her 3 times. She would go full mental breakdown when he would breakup with her. He says she threatened to kill herself and make it look like he did it.
The host asks why did James bring her back? James says because she told him she was pregnant. (That's total bullshit. He knew 100% she was lying and called her out multiple times online for lying.) He says she called him before getting on the plane and told him she wasn't pregnant.
Someone asks about the miscarriage. James says there's a few alleged miscarriages. (There was 1 fake one, 1 real one. He knows it was real. He was there at her appointments.) He talks about how she uploaded a picture of someone else's premature baby and wrote "in loving memory of Rogue." (that was the fake one) He says she miscarried at 6 weeks and found out at 12 - 13 weeks. He says it was the size of a peanut on the ultrasound. He said it was a shitty ultrasound because it was a mom and pop doula and a tiny place. They said she needed to remove it, but she didn't have health insurance. She had Canadian health insurance so they sent her back to take care of it the financially responsible way. He said she later shamed him for that and he sarcastically says he's so sorry he's financially responsible. He sent her back for that then she posted the Rogue photo. (That's not true. The Rogue photo happened way before their real miscarriage.) He says it's a mature fetus in the photo, so she was misleading. He said when she faked the pregnancy, she took a photo with her stomach pushed out and faked a doctor's note. He says KatSketch from Shane Dawson's channel has a specialty with pregnant people as far as her schooling. She said Shiloh was pushing her gut out and he celebrated with Cyr that she wasn't pregnant because he didn't want to be with a "psycho" (he literally says "quote, unquote") again. He says days pass and he got lonely and convinced himself to take her back.
The host says he doesn't understand that. James says he was an idiot and his comment section was filled with people telling him not to be with her. He would make videos about how in love they were, pissing off his audience. James says even people in serious abusive relationship where they could die take their partners back.

“Hey guys!” Uraraka waved cheerfully at the camera. “My name is Uraraka Ochako, and welcome back to Farm to Table, a show where we explore where our food comes from!”
“For today’s episode, we’re going to be doing something a liiittle different.” On the counter was a pile of misshapen brown lumps, mottled with different black and brown spots. “On our cacao episode, a lot of you were a little… shall we say, disappointed with me, when I didn’t make chocolate out of a cacao pod.”
Uraraka’s smile turned icy, as a screenshot popped up on screen. She held up a little slip of paper from her hand and cleared her voice.
“ ‘Making chocolate isn’t easy,’ ” she read, widening her eyes for emphasis. “ ‘This girl has no idea what she’s talking about.’ ”
The dark, saccharine expression on her face never faltered as she ripped up the paper into tiny pieces, throwing bits over her shoulder.
“Now, I’m here to show you that actually, yes – making chocolate can be easy!” The hard smile was replaced by a warm grin. “My friends at Tokyo Cacao sent me some pods to work with, and lucky for us, they’re ripe and ready to go!”
She beamed, picking up a pod and showing it off to the camera. “I’ll show you guys how to turn these bad boys into chocolate - and after that, I’m gonna share one of my favorite chocolate recipes with you!”
Uraraka then grinned mischievously. “First things first – we gotta crack this little guy open.” Reaching under the countertop, she whipped out a gigantic chef’s knife. It was easily as long as Uraraka’s forearm, and the polished blade was engraved with two characters that clearly read, ‘Bakugou.’
A choking sound was heard off screen.
“Holy shit Uraraka, you took it?!” A man popped into frame, gaping at the knife in Uraraka’s hand. “Dude, Bakugou’s been looking for that all morning - he’s going to kill you for real this time!”
“Not if he doesn’t find out,” she said seriously, fixing the blonde man with a pointed look. “You’re not going to rat me out, are you, Kaminari?”
“And get killed in his Baku-rage? No thanks.” He shivered, staring at the knife as if it was going to attack him. “At least you’ve got a chance of surviving.”
Uraraka laughed, rolling her eyes. “You’re acting like he’s going to eat you or something.”
“You don’t know about poor Mineta,” Kaminari looked grave as he closed his eyes in a moment of silence, before scurrying out of frame. He called out, “If anyone, especially Bakubro, asks – I was never here!”
“O… kay?... ” Uraraka blinked at the camera for a few moments and then shook her head in amusement. “Anyways, back to the topic – opening the pod! The rind is pretty thick and slippery, so be careful where you’re cutting! The best way is to set the edge of the knife in one of the grooves and give it a good whack, like this - !”

“Oh fuck, that’s good,” Bakugou groaned, mouth full as he chewed. The mango-coconut tart in front of him was dotted with swirls of candied orange peel as a garnish, but it did nothing to hide the fact that the entire thing was dusted with a liberal coating of violent red chili powder.
At his side, Uraraka beamed, sniffling a little from the pervasive scent of spice in the air. “I added some lime too, just to break up the richness – it’s not too sweet?”
“S’fucking perfect.” Bakugou scarfed down the last bite of the piece in his hand. He let out another long moan, the sound of it deep and guttural, and Uraraka’s eyes widened as she stared, her cheeks turning red. “Screw it, I’m eating this for lunch.”
“Eh?” Uraraka blinked, snapping out of her daze just as the tray was snatched from her workbench. “Wait, wait – Bakugou! Give it back, I haven’t even tasted it yet!”
“Pft, like you wouldn’t down a carton of milk after one bite,” he scoffed, holding the tart above his head and trying to fend off Uraraka with his free hand as she pulled at his arm. “Fucking get off, Uraraka, I – !”

Todoroki stared down at the gooey, green-streaked mess of chocolate in front of him mournfully. At his side, Yaoyorozu looked equally despondent, poking at the dull sheen of dark chocolate covering the biscuit in her hand.
“Should we…?” Todoroki glanced over hesitantly, and Yaoyorozu bit her lip.
“I was really hoping we’d get it this time.” She sighed heavily, before turning around. The camera zoomed out, the frame widening to show a few people milling around in the background. “Uraraka! Do you have a moment?”
A chirpy voice replied, “Sure!” Todoroki visibly sighed in relief, quickly dumping his mixing bowl into the sink of dirty dishes as Uraraka came into the shot.
“Huh, that’s definitely not right…” The brunette poked Yaoyorozu’s chocolate mixture with a frown. “What temperature did you heat this to?”
“45 degrees?” Uraraka hummed, scooping up a bit of the mixture and dumping it into her hand. She rubbed at it, frowning. “What did you use as your seeded chocolate?”
Todoroki slid the half-empty bag of chocolate chips across the counter, and Uraraka dumped a pile of them out. Little disks spilled across the marble, and she tested one piece between her clean fingers. “Uh, you know that you’re supposed to use tempered chocolate to seed, right?”
Todoroki opened his mouth, paused, then closed it abruptly. Yaoyorozu buried her face in her hands and audibly groaned.
“Hey, the good news is that you can totally reuse this!” Uraraka tried to smile encouragingly. “Did the matcha chocolate come out weird too, or –?”
“Oi, what the fuck is this?” The camera panned to the side, where Bakugou was holding up Todoroki’s abandoned mixing bowl in a fist, features twisted into a grimace. “Did all those e-cigs fry your brain, Half-and-half? Who the fuck doesn’t sift matcha before –”
“Hey, lay off of him, Bakugou.” Uraraka stomped over and snatched the bowl away. “Tempering is hard! And you know white chocolate is tricky.”
“Tch, please.” He scoffed. “What kind of idiot can’t temper chocolate?”
Uraraka’s eyes flashed, and she planted her arms on her waist. “Have you ever tempered chocolate before?”
“What kind of dumbass question is that?” Bakugou growled. “Course I have, I didn’t live under a fucking rock like these two morons.”
Yaoyorozu bristled indignantly, but Uraraka held up her hand. Todoroki just looked tired, and muttered under his breath, “Here we go again…”
“Then you wouldn’t mind giving us a demonstration, would you?” Bakugou looked at her sweet, smiling face suspiciously. “Or are you too chicken to prove it?”
Red eyes flashed dangerously. “... the fuck did you just say?”
─── ・。゚❁゚。・ ───
The video cut to a shot of lumpy, melted white goo, before zooming out to show Bakugou’s scowl. “What the fuck is wrong with this shitty chocolate?” He kept stirring, even more vigorously this time, and looked down at the mixture as if he was trying to set it on fire with his glare.
Todoroki and Yaoyorozu were tucked a little ways away, snickering quietly as they watched from a safe distance away. Across from Bakugou, leaning casually against the counter, Uraraka smiled gleefully.
“Hur-dur, ‘what kind of idiot can’t temper chocolate?’ ” she mimicked, her voice lowered in an approximation of the blonde’s low growl. Uraraka laughed, and then ducked as a chocolate-covered spatula sailed over her head.
“FUCK OFF, ROUND FACE!”

smolbean678 reblogged kryssalys ochaakou:
reasons you should stan uraraka ochako, u.a.’s farming goddess and resident bakugou whisperer:
- has probably saved about half of the “from scratch” episodes by virtue of being the only person in the entire u.a. test kitchen who can consistently temper chocolate
- speaking of chocolate, this woman pulled the hardest flex by making her own chocolate from a raw cacao pod, and then proceeded to make chocolate chicken mole with it just to prove to the haters that she could
- is the acting president of the musutafu ninniclub, a japanese club for lovers of garlic. she also openly admits to sleeping with a ninnikyun plushie, aka the club mascot which is apparently a giant garlic clove (seriously, you can’t make this shit up guys)
- vocal advocate of Feeding Japan, a hunger relief organization that works to combat food insecurity, and is frequently seen volunteering at food banks and soup kitchens (1) (2) (3) (4)
- a lot of the ingredients she features in the “farm to table” series come from her parent’s farm! (pics) she grew up working at her parents’ stall at her hometown farmer’s market and promotes buying locally to support regional farms and businesses.
- this masterpiece of a tweet: “I love food and I love to eat. If someone wants to shame me for my body then they can go fuck themselves.”
- creates recipes that not only taste good but are also healthy, quick, easy and beginner friendly – yes, I’m looking at you, mr. bakugou “just fucking flip it and reduce for 3 days” katsuki – see the archive of her recipes here (x)
- has a tiktok dedicated entirely to trolling todoroki’s reactions with weird flavors of soba, these are my favorites (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7)
- she’s a self-taught chef who started as a dishwasher and worked up to being the sous chef at ryuko tatsuma’s restaurant dragoon before coming to the u.a. test kitchen and was regularly praised by food critics (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)
- has single-handedly saved u.a. millions of yen from that one time she stopped bakugou from ‘accidentally’ exploding an air fryer
- speaks fluent baku-rage, not to mention their chemistry is off the charts hoO BOY the slow burn is fucking real y’all
alright there’s so much more stuff but I fucking hate formatting links, so watch farm to table and follow uraraka on social media (twitter / instagram / tiktok) because this queen deserves our love. thanks for coming to my ted talk.

“Ugh.” Uraraka glared down at the sad, deflated lumps sitting in the middle of her ramekins. “Where is Aoyama when you need him?”
“That looks pathetic,” a blunt voice said, and Uraraka sighed as Bakugou came into the camera frame, leaning over the counter to peer into one cup with a skeptical look. “What the hell are you making?”
“Well, it’s supposed to be a pistachio-strawberry souffle.” She huffed, rubbing at her neck in frustration. “I can’t figure out how to get the nuts to distribute evenly… and it’s just not rising? I don’t get it – I remade my pastry cream like, three times, I know it’s fine, and I buttered my molds but it just…”
“You try freezing the molds after you butter them?” A frown came over Uraraka’s face as she shook her head. Bakugou grabbed one of the little cups, prodding the contents with a finger, and made a face. “Keeps it from contaminating your mixture and fucking up the rise.”
“When I make them at home, they’re usually fine at room temp,” she said dejectedly. “I don’t know why I can’t get it right today.”
The camera zoomed in a little, focusing on Bakugou’s expression as he glanced towards Uraraka. He looked a little concerned, and after a beat of silence, he came around the counter to stand beside her.
“Oi, don’t get all mopey on me, Cheeks.” He nudged her shoulder lightly, settling a hand across the back of Uraraka’s neck. “You good?”
She sighed heavily, leaning a little into his hand. “Yeah, yeah, I just… I don’t know. My brain isn’t working right now.”
“Tch.” Bakugou looked over the mess of bowls spread across the counter, eyes settling on the deflated looking egg-whites on one side. “Look – I’ll help ya out, just this once. Don’t quit on me now, yeah?
She blinked, looking up at him with furrowed brows. “But I thought… don’t you have that thing, with –”
“Don’t worry ‘bout it. This is more important,” he said, shrugging off his leather jacket and rolling up his sleeves. Uraraka just looked back at him in confusion.
“But…” She bit her lip hesitantly. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah.” Bakugou smirked back at her as he tied on his apron. “I got you, Cheeks.”

Uraraka rubbed her eyes, blinking as she gaped.
“You…” She looked up at him, chin trembling. “Did you really…?”
“Tch.” Bakugou huffed, trying to hide a smile. “What, your eyes don’t work now, Cheeks?” he teased.
“I just - ” Uraraka pinched herself, yelping at the pain, before a huge, toothy smile broke out across her face. “Oh my god, I can’t believe you actually did it.”
“You did get on your knees and beg, so…” He shrugged, snickering as Uraraka approached the counter reverently, her face glowing in sheer joy. “Ten kinds of mochi, as fuckin’ promised.”
She turned to him pleadingly. “Can I…?”
“I already took the photos.” He nodded at the spread, a rainbow of different colors delicately arranged with a pot of tea, ready to be eaten. “Go for it, babygirl.”
Uraraka already had a daifuku mochi halfway to her mouth, lips open as she got ready to take a bite, when an unfamiliar voice cut into the video.
“Wait a second.” Both of them paused to look at the camera in confusion. “Did he just call you babygirl?”
There was a beat of silence, before Uraraka’s face exploded into a bright red blush. Next to her, Bakugou quietly muttered, “Fuck.”

& then there was one
my parents finished renovating our house my freshman year of high school. i was 14 and finally had my own room...a place i didn’t have to share with my 11 year old brother or my 3 year old sister. i painted it green & a couple of months later painted a tree on one wall and filled the branches with lord of the rings quotes. it was my sanctuary.
my grandma gifted me my first laptop around the same time. she won it in a company sweepstakes and gave it to me because she had one already. it was the coolest thing. we had a family computer in the office (nee playroom) that i had played both sims 2 and 3 on. but now i could take the sims to my room!
amongst other things.
i played skyrim religiously after my brother got bored of the xbox, as he was also gifted a playstation 4 along with GTA V. i also adored several creators on youtube, at that time a bastion of comedic skits and random tangential clips lasting no more than 6 minutes or so. i felt deeply invested in the community -- not so much with fellow audience members but with the youtubers themselves; as if these videos were a two-way conversation. shane dawson led to desandnate led to smosh led to kalel cullen led tobuscus led to pewdiepie led to cryaotic, etc., etc. they were great!
forget the boy bands of the 90s and early 2000s....which youtuber did you want to date? SMASH + fuck, marry, kill in the back of the chilly and damp bus driving home from a scholastic bowl meet. my heart ached for these people. they appealed so deeply to me and i fell madly in love with them all. and i wasn’t alone; we all fell in love.
i’m not sure how i found out about omegle. at a slumber party or birthday, someone pulled out their laptop & we could see and chat with strangers. live. no supervision. we were...14? 15? had to be 14 because i succinctly remember laughing a while later when i told a grown man i wasn’t 18 but actually 14 after he had finished for me. all while sitting in my new green bedroom.
for the longest damn time i thought i had an extremely average adolescence. i was lauded as independent and mature, and took pride in that. maturity meant i was better but also inherently prepared for what life was throwing at me. plus independence meant that i could effectively do whatever i pleased. and to that extent, i never attended a party (though i did sneak over to a boy’s house when i said i was going to a friends’ but that was later figured out and actually excused) but i pursued other exploits.
another piece of the puzzle is that youtube around 2010 appealed to people exactly my age. and was simultaneously extremely sexual. the mass cancellation of shane dawson is ultimately rooted in his behavior around this time. and this behavior was broadcast to us, 12-14 years old, which signaled to us what could be deemed appropriate. queue me believing that men around the ages of 19-25 could find me, a barely there 14 year old, attractive. and boy did i run with that.
i spent immeasurable time on omegle. it was thrilling, especially when men’s faces would light up as my video appeared. “finally, a real person and not just a dick!” i remember one, zach herzog (sp?). he was so kind, introducing me to imgur which rounded out my early internet diet. he had a girlfriend but at one point admitted to me that she was not as pretty as i was. we would message on kik for hours. he graduated college a year after we met (my junior year of high school). jake was around that time too. but honestly jake was special in that we met through omegle chat (no video). and we actually chatted for about 3 years, at one time making sure to watch the weekly game of thrones episode (freshly downloaded off pirate bay) together and discussing what went down afterwards. after we skyped with video on, we slowly stopped communicating.
another, stephen i believe. he was from the UK and i only remember that because of his accent and that i had him say my (fake) name multiple times. i never once used my real name nor talked aloud to these men. always text. but does that matter? over skype, he would send videos of himself jacking off...which would have been pleasant save for the fact he liked smacking his penis near the end and i couldn’t take that seriously.
the first man i reciprocated for -- that is, i obliged requests to show parts of my body -- was sam. i don’t remember anything too striking about him save he did his business to me while we were still on omegle (only strange because the fashion then was to move to somewhere more ‘private’ and stable like kik or skype) and then promptly ghosted me. somewhere in my hs junior year planner, there are notes to sam asking him if he would ever come back.
then senior year. so stressed with college applications (i applied to one school) i spent most of my time in my bedroom alone, indulging in a healthy diet of top gear and youtube, by this point dominated by cryaotic and pewdiepie. but i always had time for my dear favorite, capndesdes (of desandnate fame who later made his own solo channel where he published several q&a’s and apartment vlogs). october 2013 and i was wearing his blue ‘crescent moon face’ shirt (referencing the photo booth video). i met Anthony, Mike, and David on omegle. i immediately picked out Anthony and sure enough he was interested. him being in a group, i knew we wouldn’t be doing anything that night but the video chat was fun. the connection even died at one point but we got back in contact as i had shared my twitter (and my real name, though for months he believed my fake name was my middle name because i felt bad telling the truth). i guess i should’ve known this time was different when he insisted on skying the next morning before i went to work. i felt embarrassed for how i looked but he said i looked beautiful. and was so earnest i had to believe him.
we skyped everyday. every day. essentially right as i got home from school because that’s conveniently when he got off work. oh and i eventually had to admit that my microphone was not in fact broken. we played minecraft and gta on the xbox. he said he planned to visit me one day. but that’s absurd, right? i would laugh and say ‘you’re too much.’
he visited november 9 2013. drove all the way up. i was at my friend’s birthday party. we had just woken up and he revealed he was in our town. i gave him directions to the park so we could meet. i remember running to him from my car, friends sitting in the back seat. we walked about two miles around the park, chatting. he was even more beautiful in person. the sight of the freckles on his nose are still so vivid. even after all these years remembering, my naiveté still strikes me. a day later, he asked me to be my girlfriend as we walked to his car after dinner. i said yes, that i would do him the honor of making him the happiest man on earth. a day later, he took (but i also gave) away my virginity. he met my friends and then we said goodbye on a rainy and cold afternoon. i still sometimes smell the sweet mustiness of that room.
a handful of memories that are still striking after 7 years:
washing the strawberry lube off myself in my parent’s bathroom, praying they did not ask why i had spent the last 5 afternoons and evenings staying so late at a friend’s house; forcing myself to connect to Lorde’s music after he said he enjoyed her first album; saying that thin mints were my favorite after he admitted to buying too many; taking my adventure time backpack to the hotel room and filling out my cheatsheet for my physics test the next day while he watched and eventually rolled me over to kiss me; feeling too insecure to lead him around town so instead opted to stay silent as he chose what to have for dinner; eating at my favorite local mexican restaurant after losing my virginity; showing my friends the pictures we had taken in the hotel room and them losing their minds.
after he left, i was devastated. and essentially remained devastated for the next 7 months. i cried the morning after he left, while driving to work and listening to ribs.
there’ll be more, when i have strength.

SpongeGuy Reviews Every Disney Sitcom Ever!: Pair of Kings (1.1): “Return of the Kings”
I have a new least favorite Disney show!
Strap yourselves in folks, this is one heck of a ride!
Tumblr media
Pair of Kings is a Disney XD sitcom from like 2010 I think? I don’t respect it enough to give it a year. This hellspawn of Satan’s BRO son who thinks that putting Chad on his resume is a surefire way to get a job is about two BRO’S: Brady (played by Jeremy from Phineas and Ferb, who has seen better shows clearly) and Boomer (I don’t know who plays him, but i sure as hell don’t care!). Brady Bunch and Ok Boomer are twins (They’re bi-racial, which is neat, but this kind of representation can only hurt) who learn that they are actually the sons of the king and queen of “Random Island so we can make Island Natives are weird jokes without offending anyone in particular” Island, and they are next in line for the throne, hence the title “Pair of fucking idiots” I MEAN “Pair of Kings”.
The rest of the show is as stupid as it sounds. Basically, there’s an island native named Mason who is Mr. Moseby from Suite Life, but if he was forced to be blinded to their idiocy, his daughter Mikayla who is every boring female lead in a show like this, you know, the one who is actually serious and doesn’t want to be with these bozo’s but the show will force her to like them because she TOTALLY doesn’t deserve anything better, and of course an evil CGI fish and the 12 year old boy who owns him and is trying to kill our leads, which according to the laugh track, means that Attempted Murder is fnuny. Huh.
Ok, i can only describe this show for so long before i die. Let’s get to the 45 MINUTE Pilot. Yes, I saw 45 minutes of this. And this is apparently the best we get of this show, since they put all their money into hooking us with this pilot.
Dear lord.
Summery:
Brady (Mitchel Musso) and Boomer (Doc Shaw) are twin teenagers living in Chicago with their aunt Nancy and uncle Bill, as their parents are deceased. Brady and Boomer are unaware that they are destined to become the next kings of an island nation known as Kinkow. After they are bullied by the toughest guys in their high school, Mason (Geno Segers) and a group of warriors from Kinkow come to bring them home. Brady and Boomer break the island's sacred ruby, causing Kinkow's volcano to erupt. Their cousin Lanny (Ryan Ochoa) tricks them into going to get another sacred ruby so they would die on the dark side of Kinkow, allowing him to become king. While they are on the dark side, Brady and Boomer are caught by a tribe called the Tarantula People, but they are protected by the bat medallion that the Tarantula People obey. Brady and Boomer obtain the sister ruby and save the kingdom. However, the chain that controlled the Tarantula People falls off Brady's neck.
COMEDY: 0 Out of 5
I doubt this shocks anyone. The comedy of Pair of Kings makes one miss the intelligent musings of a conservative Albatross with a hernia in the middle of Sunday Church. The jokes are like The Incredible’s Hulk’s Jock Strap after a s mile jog towards the savannah: They stink so bad I almost gave up all hope for humanity and started planning an escape route from the planet. All manner of wit and charm is sucked out like a single strand of spaghetti through a straw as thin as my patience for the leads, and every character quirk is so basic and cliche that the old people’s home rejected their application. If I were to write blindfolded and and upside down, with half my keyboard letters missing and a sadistic autocorrect feature installed onto my PC, I would still write something better than the humor of Pair of Kings, because then I would have written nothing at all, and nothing is at least nothing. Pair of Kings exists; may God have mercy on our souls.
...
So in short, it’s not funny. I smiled in pain maybe once at an Overprotective dad joke, and that’s about it.
CHARACTERS: 0 Out of 5
Imagine your typical Disney Channel sitcom. Now think of the worst version of that. Now think of the Dorkly video based on that version.
Pair of Kings is 10 times worse.
The characters are bare bones at best. In fact, they are invertebrates, and not the funny absorbent ones like Spongebob. Their personalities are so 1 dimensional and obvious that if I were to show you pics of them you could tell me their entire biographies. The leads replicate an early 2010′s trend of being two BROS who keep doing stupid things, and that’s their personality. They also replicate a 2020 trend of making me wish the apocalypse was over. They are just BROS. Whenever they have even a moment of quote un quote “DRAMA” they undercut it with humor like a wet fart at a funeral reception. The supporting cast is like my life: Barely functional and clearly inept to deal with this shit right now. Mason is “The Native Overprotective Dad”; Mikayala is “DA GIRL”; Lanny is “Scar but boring”; The CGI Fish exists.
Can my pain end now?
STORY AND HEART: 1 Out of 5
I’ll make this quick: They have the GALL of pretending that OK BOOMER and Brady Bunch have felt sorrow when they almost destroy the island. They have the GALL to have them say that they will stop being kings if that’s what they want. I’m not saying they’re incapable of such feelings, but I guess this puts it best: At one point in this ACTION-COMEDY-DRAMA of sorts, Brady Bunch says he feels bad about the kids who could die on the island. He hears the volcano burst again, and says “Good Luck Kids” to run off. Sure, this is a typical sitcom joke, but if this show wants me to take it seriously that they mean well, they just shot themsleves in the foot.
The point is for set design and tbf not too bad CGI for a teen sitcom. But I can’t stand a show that lies to my face and pretends that these two are any good. Pair of Kings? More like Pair of END ME END ME END ME.

I wanted to answer these questions from @caitlovesdisney ‘s YouTube video today, so here they are:
1. Favorite Disney Channel show: Phineas and Ferb
2. Favorite Disney Channel movie: High School Musical
3. Favorite Disney Channel ship: It used to be Sonny and Chad, but I recently started Austin and Ally, and I love them! Honestly tho, it’s Rapunzel and Eugene.
4. Favorite Disney Channel ship that never was: Those two girls from Stuck in the Suburbs. I literally just watched this movie and can’t remember their names. I hope they’re married now.
5. Favorite Disney Channel friendship: Nico and Grady from Sonny With a Chance
6. Favorite Disney Channel siblings: Phineas and Ferb
7. Favorite Disney Channel animated series: I already said Phineas and Ferb, but shoutout to Gravity Falls and Tangled the Series
8. Favorite Disney Channel show that is airing right now: Amphibia looks cool but I haven’t seen too many episodes
9. Disney Channel show you wish had another season: Jonas, but I want it to take place before they all go to LA. I just want more wacky high school shenanigans with the Joe Bros.
10. Favorite International Disney Channel show: I don’t know any. Does Miraculous Ladybug count?
11. Favorite Disney Channel theme song: the Kim Possible theme
12. Favorite song from a Disney Channel movie: Everyday from HSM 2, but shoutout to Determimate from Lemonade Mouth.
13. Favorite Disney Channel character: I love Brenda from Gravity Falls
14. Favorite Disney Channel actor/actress: I am in love with Jordan Fisher
15. Favorite Disney Channel kiss: Joe and Stella in the “Double Date” episode of Jonas.
16. Favorite Disney Channel movie dance number: Gotta Be Me from Teen Beach 2 is THE best school dance scene in a movie and you can quote me on that
17. Favorite Disney Channel parents: I honestly really dislike most of the parents on Disney Channel. I like the parents in Phineas and Ferb, also in Wizards of Waverly Place.
18. Favorite quote from a Disney Channel movie: “Plans change and people change” -Gabriella in HSM 2
19. Which Disney Channel school would you want to attend? Gonna answer this as a teacher instead of a student, just for fun: I know it’s not Disney Channel, but I would love to work at the school from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Can you believe their arts and STEM programs are BOTH so well funded???
20. Favorite Disney Channel duet: Wouldn’t Change a Thing from Camp Rock 2
21. Disney Channel character you’d switch wardrobes with: Dez from Austin and Ally, but also I really wanted those shoes Macy wears in Jonas when I was in middle school. So like, Dez’s wardrobe but with those shoes.
22. Disney Channel song that always makes you cry: Our Song from Camp Rock 2
23. Disney Channel song that makes you want to dance: Chillin like a Villain from Descendants 2 lol
24. What DCOM do you wish had a sequel? This does not exactly answer the question, but I think they should bring Teen Beach Movie to the stage. Just take out the C plot with the cheesy villains and throw in a few more musical numbers. BOOM, It’s ready for Broadway.
25. Favorite Disney Channel recording artist: The Jonas Brothers, but also Sneakernight by Vanessa Hudgens is my jam lately.
26. Last Disney Channel show and movie you watched: Show: Jonas, Movie: Stuck in the Suburbs
27. Name a Disney Channel character you ship yourself with: Zeke from HSM. He is prime husband material. He would respect you and bake you delicious treats. He’s also tall and handsome and smiles a lot. He knows what a sport is. 10/10 would marry.
28. Which DCOM have you seen at least 10 times? All the High School Musicals. I’m not there yet with Teen Beach Movie but we’re getting there.
29. If you could have any item from a show or DCOM what would it be? I would love a journal from Gravity Falls.
30. Pitch a Disney Channel show or movie: I would love some kind of school drama that focuses on the teachers as well as the students? I’ve been noticing that there’s a lot of manga that does this very well (Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Design Class). I also like detective stories, so maybe a show about a teen or preteen detective. They could like, have a janitor’s closet converted into a cool detective office. The detective gets help from their friends and teachers to solve cases. The overall vibe of the show would be more wacky and fun, à la Psych. So like, not a serious drama, just a fun time solving crimes. And probably one of their friends is a singer or something, ‘cause it’s Disney Channel.

20 to One Incident 😬
⚠️Warning: If there is any wrong information in this blog please let me know! I don’t want to give any false information. I’m going to try to not make this blog to long.
If you’ve been on Twitter for the past two days and you’re an ARMY, you know better than anyone how other ARMYs have felt when it came to a segment covering BTS. An absolutely racist and disrespectful segment. To those who might not know here’s a summary of the situation:
Summary:
20 to One is an Australian TV show (on Channel 9) and basically they countdown the top 20 global crazes placing BTS as No. 18 and let me tell you, once the segment was released there were at least three hashtags that were trending on Twitter overnight.
#channel9apoligiz(s)e
#channel9apoligiz(s)etoBTS
#fireAlexWilliamson
Don’t worry, I promise the third hashtag will make sense as I go on. Rather than writing what happened in the segment, the following tweet has the full two minute segment that was covered about BTS. If I’m being honest.....I wasn’t even able to watch the whole thing AT ALL.
There are a few common words that ARMY has used to describe this segment which are:
Disgusting
Racist
Xenophobic
Disrespectful
Then amazingly enough when things were already on fire, more wood was added by Alex Williamson who didn’t post one, but many more tweets adding to the fire. The following was the first tweet that he has posted supporting the segment of 20 to One.
Honestly, the various replys that ARMY made were amazing! There is one tweet that actually caught my attention which was, “Us 14 y/o’s also sold out a 3.5 star wine that Jungkook drank. Don’t forget that.” This reminded me when Jungkook revealed what fabric softer he used and the next thing you know, it was sold out. 😂
The obvious thing ARMY asked for was an apology from those involved in the segment, and I believe a representative of Channel Nine as well for letting them air the segment, since many ARMYs did mention that it did not follow an regulations and was considered defamation. This was what we got:
“As a lighthearted entertainment program, it is our belief that last night’s episode of 20 to One, which highlighted the ‘Greatest Global Crazes’, did not breach any broadcast regulations, and was intended to humorously highlight the popularity of the group. We apologise to any who may have been offended by last night’s episode.”
As for Alex.....let’s just say he didn’t really apologize at all and still kept being quite disrespectful.
End of Summary
I hope the summary helped you guys of the current situation! Now this is my opinion on the situation currently.
I honestly agree with how racist it is and it’s disrespectful as well knowing how hard they worked throughout their career and the tough times they went through. Of course I would like to give my opinion on the whole segment but that’s going to take too long so I’ll give my opinion on four things, three from the segment and the fourth opinion will be about the apology.
‘only one member actually speaks English’
As we know, Namjoon is amazing at English and learned it by watching the American show Friends. But pointing that out that’s a way of belittling them. As ARMYs we know that they try to at least speak a bit of the language for the fans so they can communicate us which is honestly amazing. I’m sure if they wish it, they would want the ability to speak all languages to be able to speak out to us and to able to express more of themselves. But because of their actions we know that they love us hence the quote, “actions speak louder than words.”
Gangster names
This was a bit of a surprise when I first heard it. As I mentioned I didn’t see the full segment because I couldn’t bare to watch anymore. But then I saw this floating around, so I’m guessing they mentioned it towards the end of the segment. I did a bit of research about stage names because my arrogant self didn’t really question why any Kpop idol had a stage name. So this is what I dug up.
I’m still a bit iffy about the process of choosing a stage name but I read that they really don’t have a choice and that their stage name is chosen for them, but idols can later on change their stage name if they wanted to. But the question is why do they have stage name in first place? Apparently it’s so that they can attract more people because they believe that by having an “old” sounding name they wouldn’t attract many people. Some idols tho, have a special meaning behind their stage maybe even a special reason.
J-Hope
The reason why his stage name is J-Hope is because he hopes he can become people’s hope. Hence the introduction “I’m your hope, you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope.”
Tumblr media
Suga
Suga on the other hand was a stage name that was given to him from BangPD I believe. The reason why Suga was chosen is because his smiles are sweet like sugar.
Tumblr media
RM
Another example is RM. Now here’s the thing, RM changed his stage name. Currently the initials of his stage name means Real Me and I’m guess what that means is that he’s showing ARMYs the real him. Now what about Rap Monster? Well I’m just going on a whim here and guess that the reason for the previous stage name is because of his amazing ability of rapping. Honestly I’m not going to talk about the other stage names he had cause that’s going to take too long. 😂
Tumblr media
V
Last but not least, V! If you’ve been an ARMY even before the debut of BTS then you know very well that V was th last member to be introduced to BTS. During the time they wanted to make V like the mystery member and kept him hidden in hopes to attract more people. He was given the choice between Lex, Six, and V. He chose V because the members thought it fits him well.
Tumblr media
‘I’m going to say....hair products.’
As we already know, BTS was able to speak at the UN. Namjoon, gave a speech about self respect which was amazing and a huge accomplishment for their career. During the segment they did mention that they did indeed gave a speech at the UN so they did do a little research but what they said afterwards is flat out ridiculous. They said that the speech that they gave at the UN was most likely about hair products... I’m beyond speechless honestly.
Speech less because could you imagine how nervous they were? Could you imagine how much time they prepped and wrote and try to find out the right words to write such a great speech? It’s not like writing an essay for a school assignment, they’re writing for the public to hear and presenting to not just the leaders of the UN but to those who may be watching as well. It’s a big deal because they’ve been noticed and had made a great impact to us.
If you haven’t yet, I recommend watching the full UN speech!
youtube
I had to share but out of all the videos, Jimmy Fallon’s segment about the speech of the UN was amazing and cracked me up. 😂
youtube
Honestly the part where they made it so that a representative was hearing Fake Love when Trump was giving out his speech was amazing. 😂 Then came along a few minutes of roasting Trump was also funny.
Apology
So this will be my last opinion. What is my opinion about the apology that the representative of channel 9 gave and the tweet from 20 to One. Honestly... I’m not satisfied with it at all. I agree with ARMY that they need to publicly apologize for the racist and disrespectful segment. The way 20 to One apologized is not ok and it’s kinda like they’re not admitting to their fault. “Light hearted entertainment,” do you really think the whole two minute segment was “light hearted.”
No it’s not light hearted at all. They even made us look like crazy fans. But I don’t mind it because ARMY has accomplished a bunch of projects in honor of BTS. Projects like helping the environment, helping conserve the koalas (specifically in honor of RM). I mean, let’s not mention how litteraly there is a koala named Koya in a Australian zoo. ARMYs have donated to US organizations that assist disadvantaged kids around the world (specifically in honor of Suga). Then Mexican ARMY outdid themselves when they acted as a human barricade when BTS were arriving at the airport for K-Con Mexico!
Of course, there are many more projects that AMRYs have done in the past that we all need to be proud of. I’m also proud of the project as well that’s been done for the boys.
Last but not least Alex. He didn’t really give an apology at all and it’s really not worth mentioning it. If you want you can check it out through his Twitter.
Anyway, this is my opinion of the situation and what has happened so far. I’m going to end it here since this is already long blog.
I purple you guys! 💜 Let’s keep making BTS proud!

“Yeah, pretty much everything about this is awesome. Needs a bonus round though.”-Cinema Sins 2013
ORIGINAL VIDEOS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOK1uJK9U8w&t=0s&index=2

Part 1:
1.”Because real eggheads use picture books” These two pages are mostly pictures so clearly the whole book is like that!
2.”A fictional character once again looks everywhere except for right in front of themselves for the person they are so loudly shouting the name of” To be fair, Spike was lying on the ground and thus wasn’t directly in front of her per say.
3.”Something tells me these sky chariots don’t exactly have a 5 star rating for safety. There’s absolutely nothing keeping the passengers safe in the event that the driver accelerates too fast” That was split into two sins even though that’s one big sin. Especially since the first sentence was good enough.
4.”Also, these mountains are either really tiny or they are moving extremely fast” The latter. That or they’re in the background so they don’t need to be big.
5.”Mane remains messy simply because it’s relevant to the plot” Well, yeah. That’s a good enough reason in my book.
6.”The Blue Jay is a territorial bird known to attack and kill smaller birds” Because clearly this kid’s show about magic ponies needs to be 100% accurate to real life.
7.He sins Spike saying he hatched from a purple and green egg since later on in another episode, it is not. Isn’t that more of a sin for that episode then?
8.”This retarded pony offends me greatly” Your casual use of the R word offends me greatly.
9.’”-this party sounds like it could have been the highlight of the season…if we actually had the chance to see it” Eh, not really. Sounds like just a party and we get plenty of those.
10.”This prophecy still doesn’t make sense” Still? You haven’t brought it up much yet. Care to explain?
11.”No one thought to keep an eye on the ruler of the land?” Eh, I can just barely buy it enough given she can seemingly take care of herself. Plus, I personally like your “She was in the bathroom” theory.
12.”These three haven’t met yet” You can stand next to someone without knowing them personally.
13.”Cliffhanger” How is that a sin? There’s already a part 2.
PART 2:
1.”Previously on My Little Pony” What’s so sin worthy of giving us a recap?
2.”Shouldn’t they be dead?” A little zap from her probably simply isn’t lethal.
3.”Where is she going?” “Thinking out loud” I see even you like to simply state what is happening on screen.
4.”I love how Twilight has to think for a moment weather or not she wants to share her knowledge” Well, yeah. She just met them, so she isn’t sure if she wants to tell them yet
5.”Equines defecate while walking” Very mature. (I say as if if I didn’t giggle at this)
6.”Nightmares” That’s the point. Not even that scary.
7.”These ponies act like no one has ever broken into song before” Well, it is the first song in this show so technically…
8.”If these scary faces are all in their heads, how is Pinkie in the mouth of one” Like everything else they bump into, these were images created by the Forest and are technically real, just defeated by showing no fear. Also, there’s no indication she is quite literally in it, it’s just a fun visual thing.
9.There is an amusing joke that belongs in the outtakes, or something.
10.”-a spark will cause the 6th element to be revealed” “What the hay does that mean?” “I’m with Applejack on this one” We kind of find that out in a bit.
11.”Just like your cutie mark” “Fluttershy is color blind” She meant the shape, come on.
12.”Awful chipper considering they haven’t slept in 3 days” We don’t know how long they were out that, but it wasn’t THAT long.
13.Also, the subtitles say “Aweful”.
14.Even the sentence has a typo! (That he corrects via annotation, but stil a sin :P )
SINS VIDEO(ES): Sin Tally . 27
SENTENCE: My inability to think of a good sentence
I’ve been waiting to do do Littleshy for awhile, because I quite like him. He’s got his sins as we’ve seen but in general he’s one of the few sins channel that’s usually accurate and pretty funny. Even these first videos aren’t too bad compared to everything else I usually cover.
I plan to cover more from him. I might go through all them, 2 or so at a time since some more may enough sins for a post and some may not. We’ll see. (I will certainly one of the EQG ones since those will be long enough)
And yes, the top quote is a really comment Cinema Sins left on the video. Neat!
Next week, Sin Sins for a live action/CGI hybrid movie.

Within a few weeks of the novel coronavirus spreading from China to the rest of the world, a pernicious narrative began to take root online: the suggestion that the virus SARS-CoV-2 was a biological weapon created in a lab.1
In mid-January 2020, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a researcher at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), gave credence to this idea when she told her favorite YouTuber — Wang Dinggang, a vocal critic of the Chinese government, and close associate of exiled Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui2 — about rumors she had heard about the virus’ origins. Wang repeated the conversations on his channel without naming her “because officials could make the person disappear. ”3
On January 25, 2020, a hyperpartisan news outlet called G News published an article further pushing the bioweapon conspiracy theory. It was titled, “Breaking news: China will admit coronavirus coming from its P4 lab.”4 G News was not the only media outlet pushing the narrative, but its involvement was significant because G News is a media outlet associated with Guo and Steve Bannon, former Breitbart executive and ally of President Trump. The two have formed a partisan alliance to push their shared anti-CCP agenda through the Rule of Law Foundation and the Rule of Law Society, which they founded in October 2017.5 Funded by Guo and managed by Bannon, Rule of Law aims to “protect and assist individuals victimized in China, particularly those penalized for speaking out against injustice.”6 Guo and Bannon were drawn together because both “naturally despise the Chinese Communist Party (CCP),”7 according to Guo. They also both have media backgrounds. Bannon was previously Trump’s chief strategist, and, before that he ran the right-wing news site Breitbart. Guo founded and funds G Media,8 which often posts anti-CCP stories across social media platforms, and prominently on the social media platform, Parler.
Prior to the first Yan report being released, Bannon said Wang’s YouTube episode featuring Yan was shown to and translated for him.9 As doubts about the origins of COVID-19 continued to proliferate across right-wing media networks, Guo and Bannon connected with Yan. This is when the pieces fell into place for what would become the Yan Report media manipulation campaign.
In interviews, Yan had been arguing that both China and the World Health Organization knew about the novel coronavirus earlier than they admitted. This is not a unique claim. Similar narratives, for example, were also circulating using the hashtag #chinaliedpeopledied, which went viral in March and April 2020.10 Yan put forward that she had evidence that the notion that the virus transferred from animals to humans was a “smokescreen” to hide its true origin, which she claims is a lab in Wuhan with close connections to the Chinese Communist Party.11 These claims are unfounded and have been debunked.12
While similar claims had been made by others, Yan stands out due to her background in science. Her CV says she has a medical degree from Xiangya Medical College of Central South University and a PhD from Southern Medical University.13 Prior to joining Bannon and Guo, Yan held a postdoctoral fellowship at Hong Kong University (HKU), where she was the first author on a COVID research paper that was published by Nature — one of the most prestigious biology journals in the world.14
Guo flew Yan to the US on April 28, 2020.15 In her most recent articles, she lists the Rule of Law Foundation and the Rule of Law Society as her formal affiliations.
In late April and early May, President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo fanned the flames of the January rumor that COVID-19 was made in a lab.16 Trump contradicted his own intelligence team by saying he had seen evidence and that he had a “high degree of confidence” that it was created and released in Wuhan.17
On July 10, 2020, Yan traded her story up the chain from online and hyperpartisan news outlets to an interview on Fox News.18 During the interview she said she was in hiding from the Chinese government and referred to herself as a whistleblower, claiming to have worked on human-to-human COVID transmission as early as December 2019.19 Fox, in turn, called her a whistleblower in its article about the interview.20 It is the earliest article labeling her as such.
The interview garnered a lot of attention online with over 2.7 million views on YouTube and 18K reactions on Facebook.21 The YouTube video has since been removed by Facebook according to data from CrowdTangle, a “public insights tool” owned by Facebook.22 The day after this interview, HKU put out a press release refuting what Yan told Fox News about her research.23
Yan continued to ramp up media appearances. On September 9, she repeated her claims to Raheem Kassam, co-host of Bannon’s popular podcast and YouTube show War Room: Pandemic, editor-in-chief of the conservative news site National Pulse and former editor-in-chief of Breitbart London.24 On September 11, Yan told Loose Women, a British talk show, that she would publish the evidence.25 The interview is available on YouTube, and has over 1.4M views.26 Then the New York Post quoted Yan’s interview with Loose Women,27 as did Tech Times (8.8K followers on Twitter),28 the Daily Mail (2.6M followers),29 and Mint (1.9M followers).30
With Yan, Guo and Bannon were able to effectively exploit the active crisis of the coronavirus by spreading her claims about its origins and the wedge issue of mistrust of the CCP. However, reporters were still skeptical of her claims and comments across social media repeatedly clamored for evidence.

CLOAKED SCIENCE: THE YAN REPORTS
Overview The Yan Report is a misleading article masquerading as science, which falsely claims that the novel coronavirus was made in a Chinese lab. An example of cloaked science, it was released during a time of intense uncertainty; as scientists raced for answers about COVID-19, sharing unvetted data as preprints in open science repositories became an essential mode of international collaboration. The increasing openness of the scientific community, though, is a vulnerability that can be leveraged by media manipulators, especially during times of crisis. On April 28, 2020, Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a researcher at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), fled to the United States with support from Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui. They used Yan’s story — that she was a whistleblower — to exploit the contentious wedge issue of the unknown origin of COVID-19.
This media manipulation campaign involved planting misleading evidence into the scientific literature, muddying the waters about COVID-19 and providing the veneer of scientific legitimacy for the political claim that coronavirus was a Chinese bioweapon. Subsequently, the Yan Report was amplified through right-wing media networks, leading to nearly a million views of the report on Zenodo, an open-access research data repository. While social media platforms moderated information about the Yan Report after scientists at several universities debunked it, two follow-up Yan Reports were uploaded to open science repositories that even more bluntly pushed the bioweapon narrative, while also refuting the academic responses to the first report. Seeding the Yan reports in the scientific community as cloaked science allowed those who linked to them on social media to claim legitimacy, while also providing the empirical basis for furthering the political aims of the funders of the reports.
Stage 1: Manipulation Campaign Planning and Origins Within a few weeks of the novel coronavirus spreading from China to the rest of the world, a pernicious narrative began to take root online: the suggestion that the virus SARS-CoV-2 was a biological weapon created in a lab.1
Bannon was previously Trump's chief strategist, and, before that he ran the right-wing news site Breitbart.

STAGE 2: Seeding Campaign Across Social Platforms and Web All of this publicity put Yan’s name into circulation in the US and primed the public for the next phase of the campaign, which was the release of a preprint scientific paper.31 The paper exploited the vulnerability of open science to further muddy the waters about the origin of COVID-19 and push an anti-CCP narrative. The paper is an example of cloaked science — a discrete piece of scientific-looking misinformation — which gave credibility to conspiracies suggesting that COVID-19 was a bioweapon and that it had been engineered by China.
On September 14, 2020, Yan, along with three other names,32 released a preprint paper on an open-access research data repository called Zenodo. The title of the paper used scientific keywords central to the bioweapon misinformation narrative: “Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route.”33 Its entire claim is in its title: COVID-19 was created in a lab. She joined Twitter and tweeted the Zenodo link to her preprint.34
Once considered controversial, the publication of preprints during the pandemic has increased in order to share data quickly during the crisis.35 But preprint publications can also be a vulnerability in the information ecosystem. Because preprints are not scrutinized in the same way as peer-reviewed journal articles and can be uploaded by anyone, they can become vectors for misinformation. “Preprints are the Facebook of science,” said Dr. Pamela Silver, who sits on the advisory board of bioRxiv, the premier preprint server for biology.36
Yan’s choices to release the paper as a preprint, and to use Zenodo as the terrain to disseminate it, appear strategic. Zenodo is hosted at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and funded by OpenAIRE and the European Commission. Uploads to Zenodo are automatically assigned a DOI (Document Object Indicator), which gives it a baseline-level of legitimacy and a way for other scientists to cite it. Additionally, in contrast to bioRxiv, Zenodo is designed so that anyone with an email address can upload their ideas.37
BioRxiv also has a four-to-five day delay between author upload and public viewing, whereas Zenodo makes papers available immediately. If Yan had uploaded to bioRxiv, she would have had to wait while the team reviewed the uploaded preprint to determine whether the information was original and scientifically sound.38 Furthermore, on bioRxiv, authors need to be affiliated with an institution with an ORCID (an academic identifier), but Zenodo does not have the same requirement. Yan listed her affiliation on her Zenodo paper as Bannon and Guo’s Rule of Law Foundation and Rule of Law Society.
Once Yan had uploaded the preprint to Zenodo, it was shared by others across multiple platforms. Raheem Kassam uploaded it to Scribd as “The Yan Report,” emphasizing her authorship. Using the same naming convention, it has been uploaded to YouTube as audio and added to publicly viewable Google Drives. Tweets and articles also describe the preprint as the “Yan Report.”
The speed of open science meant that Yan’s preprint could travel far — and quickly.39 On the day of its publication, Twitter mentions of Yan’s report were made by the likes of India’s WION News (292.5K followers)40 and News18 (4.5M followers);41 right-wing accounts such as ZeroHedge (842K followers);42 and retired NBCUniversal Senior Executive Mike Sington (24.2K followers).43
Peter Navarro (92.5K followers), Assistant to the President and Director of the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, tweeted, “It would be unbelievable if it weren't so believable. #CCPLiedPeopleDied.” The tweet included a link to a ZeroHedge article about Yan joining Twitter and tweeting a link to her paper. It received 12.7K retweets and 19.1K likes.44 The Yan Report also sparked conversation in online forums, such as Reddit.45
According to a capture by the Internet Archive, Yan’s preprint had 156,769 views and 104,708 downloads on the day it was uploaded to Zenodo, making it instantly one of the most popular papers about COVID-19.
In an interview with National Geographic, Dr. Angela Rasumussen, a virologist at Columbia University, explained that Yan’s paper “looks legitimate because they use a lot of technical jargon. But in reality, a lot of what they're saying doesn't really make any sense.”46 Yan’s paper includes graphs, datasets, and cellular models, making it look like she has the evidence to back up her claims.
STAGE 3: Responses by Industry, Activists, Politicians, and Journalists On September 15, the day after publication, Yan appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show. On the segment, she discussed her report. It was the fourth-most-watched program on TV that night, with an estimated 4.85 million viewers tuned in.47 G News released a statement about Yan’s paper that included a direct link to the paper.48
Carlson posted the clip of Yan’s appearance to Facebook and tweeted it. On Facebook, it has 73K reactions, 16K comments, and 78K shares.49 On Twitter, the clip has 56K likes and 27K retweets.50 The interview, also uploaded to YouTube, has around 2.8M views.51 The link was promoted by Carlson’s colleagues, such as Tammy Bruce, whose preview of the episode attracted 21.6K Twitter likes.52
For comparison, other Fox stories that day received much less attention. The top two results of a Facebook search show 1K and 2.3K engagements, respectively.53
On the day of the Carlson interview, Yan uploaded her publication to ResearchGate.54 Having the preprint on other repositories increases the likelihood that someone searching online would find the paper, and redundancy acts as a backup in case it is removed from one site. By September 16, the views on her Zenodo paper had reached 404,163, per the Internet Archive.
Bannon went on Tucker Carlson’s show two days after Yan, where he discussed Yan and her paper.55 He interviewed Yan on War Room: Pandemic 11 times between July 28 and October 2, 2020.56 Bannon and Kassam continue to host her and Navarro, a major booster of her report, periodically.57 She appeared on the show a total of 22 times in 2020, according to a count of the show notes on Pandemic: War Room’s website.58

Conservative news sites covered the Yan Report uncritically, such as National Review,59 as well as the same media outlets that reported on Yan before her Zenodo upload: Fox,60 New York Post,61 and Tech Times.62 It also received international media exposure via reporting by Australia’s New.Com.Au,63 Spain’s AS English,64 and India’s WION.65
Influential conservatives voices continued to amplify the Yan Report on social media. Interview clips, commentary, and links were shared as Facebook posts, tweets, and retweets by Senator Marsha Blackburn, Rev. Franklin Graham, and President Trump,66 signifying a degree of political adoption, at least by some members of the president’s party.67 By arguing that COVID-19 was designed in a Chinese lab, the Yan Report affirms Trump’s repeated claim that “it’s China’s fault.”68
An analysis by TaSC found that links to the preprint have been tweeted and retweeted 15,731 times. Just three tweets (two from Yan and one from Navarro) received two-thirds of the retweets.69
The graph (shown below) charts the virality of the Yan preprint. Yan’s preprint received about 850,000 views between its upload and October 8, the date she uploaded her next report. This graph is based on data captured by the Internet Archive. To put the Yan Report’s virality in context, it is important to note that other papers uploaded around this time have only a few hundred views.
As of February 10, 2021, the Yan Report had 1,043,337 views and 735,879 downloads.70
Total daily views (blue line) and downloads (red line) of the first Yan Report from the day of its upload (September 14, 2020) through to the publication of this case study (February 10, 2021). Data was taken from the Internet Archive captures of the Zenodo page hosting the Yan Report, which refreshes its page views and downloads once daily. Data was taken from the Internet Archive captures of the Zenodo page hosting the Yan Report, which refreshes its page views and downloads once daily. The numbers are the same on September 19, 20, and 21 as Zenodo had a small outage on those days. Note that no data is available for the following dates: September 28, 29, October 26, November 14, 22, 24, 28, 30, December 7, 10, 14, 22, 27, and January 3, 13, 14, 15, 18, 21, 25. Chart by TaSC.
STAGE 4: Mitigation efforts The media attention that the Yan Report received led academic scientists to issue refutations of the preprint, and that analysis was then covered by critical press. There is scientific and journalistic consensus that the content of Yan’s preprint is not convincing, and furthermore, is medical misinformation.71
A week after its upload to Zenodo, the preprint was fact-checked by Johns Hopkins’ Center for Health Security, which said that the paper “offers contradictory and inaccurate information that does not support their argument.”72 Another problem with the paper is that it cites “multiple papers in their reference section that have weaknesses or flaws to make their case.”73
In an interview with CNN, Nancy D. Connell of Johns Hopkins, explained why her team decided to engage with the paper: “It was clear on social media that the paper was getting more and more attention. We talked carefully and thought for a long time whether to do it.”74
On September 24, MIT scientists concluded,“This manuscript does not demonstrate sufficient scientific evidence to support its claims. Claims are at times baseless and are not supported by the data and methods used. Decision-makers should consider the author's claims in this study misleading.”75 The Yan Report was also fact-checked by scientists at Columbia University,76 Carnegie Mellon University, and the University of Washington.77
In addition to critical press and debunking, Twitter suspended Yan’s Twitter account two days after she created it to share the preprint, though Twitter made no public statement about the cause of the suspension.78 Twitter also de-indexed the longform version of the link to her preprint, so that no results appear when it is searched on Twitter. Shorter versions of the link, however, still lead to tweets about the preprint.
Facebook and Instagram added warnings to Tucker Carlson’s posts about his interview with Yan. YouTube videos — from Tucker Carlson, Fox News, and Loose Women — all have a small banner across the bottom with an option to view CDC information.79
Screenshot of Tucker Carlson’s Facebook post sharing his interview with Yan. Credit: TaSC. Screenshot of Tucker Carlson’s Facebook post sharing his interview with Yan. Credit: TaSC.
Social media moderation, however, did not quell the interest in the paper. After attempts by the platforms to reduce the report’s spread, Infowars posted an article saying that Facebook had “censored” the Tucker Carlson interview.80 Sara Carter, a Fox commentator, also brought attention to content moderation and urged her followers to watch the interview clip.81 The New York Times also reported on social media responses.82
Yan has claimed that censorship kept her work at the preprint stage,83 though we have found no evidence that Yan and her named co-authors sought publication in any scientific journal, as customary with a preprint like this. Instead, these claims of censorship echo media manipulation strategies that make unfounded claims about bias in order to create an aura of illicit information.84
In an interview with Zenodo’s curators and representatives from OpenAire, the team told TaSC they weighed removing the preprint from the repository. They decided against it because it would be antithetical to the spirit of their platform — and their terms of service. They state that an upload isn’t an endorsement. Rather, they maintain Zenodo is a platform where scientific conversation can begin. Keeping the Yan Report online, they said, means that it can be discussed and debunked. When scientists fact-check it, they have a paper to reference and a DOI to cite. However, the site currently does not provide a discussion forum or labels that identify when there is significant refutation of content on their site.85
STAGE 5: Adjustments by campaign operators Yan published a second paper on October 8, however, with some tactical adjustment, specifically in the language of the title and the content of the paper. The title of this second paper is more straightforward, and less scientific-sounding: “SARS-CoV-2 Is an Unrestricted Bioweapon: A Truth Revealed through Uncovering a Large-Scale, Organized Scientific Fraud.” This title covers top keyword search terms for disinformation about bioweapons, which topped the most shared stories this year. Per The New York Times, “media intelligence platform” Zignal Labs found that content about bioweapons accounted for 24.2 percent of the misinformation spread in 2020.86
This second paper was uploaded to Zenodo, but unlike the first one, was not accepted to the site’s Coronavirus Disease Research Community - COVID-19. The second Yan Report was also uploaded to ResearchGate, and it is part of the site’s Coronavirus Community.87
As part of her tactical adjustment, Yan created a second Twitter account in order to tweet her second preprint. During the observation period, it received 16.3K likes and 14.1K retweets and quote tweets.88 It was immediately shared by right-wing Twitter accounts, such as ZeroHedge, which posted the link along with a mention of how quickly Yan’s account was removed after her last paper.
Anticipating more platform moderation, Yan also tweeted a link to her Gab account (should her second Twitter account be removed), which represents further adjustment. Gab is a minor platform frequented by white supremacists, conspiracists, and others who seek unmoderated online discussion forums. As of February 10, 2021, Yan’s latest Twitter account was still active and has nearly 76K followers.89 Her second paper has 229,918 views on Zenodo and has been downloaded 117,651 times.90
Notably, for the second Yan Report, CNN accused Yan of copying passages from an anonymous blogger into her preprint.91 This resulted in a third working paper, which is a direct response to CNN. Also uploaded to Zenodo, it is titled “CNN Used Lies and Misinformation to Muddle the Water on the Origin of SARS-CoV-2.”92 The paper attempts to refute CNN’s plagiarism claims and contends that CNN used its media power to discredit Yan’s work and reputation. Uploaded on November 21, 2020, this paper has received only 30,080 views and 9,403 downloads. Unlike the previous reports that included misleading science, this upload appears to be a press release, wherein Zenodo is acting as part of the distribution infrastructure for Yan’s public replies.
Conclusion By exploiting open science93 during a health crisis to further their political aims, Bannon and Guo utilized Yan’s status as a research scientist fleeing Hong Kong to sustain public attention to the “COVID-19 as a bioweapon” narrative. While data repositories and preprint servers have provided crucial infrastructure for international collaboration on COVID-19, like other online platforms, they can also be used in disinformation campaigns, due to the legitimacy they confer by association. When lay publics and some journalists view these sites, they may inadvertently assume the content has been vetted or assessed in some official capacity, and is therefore sound science. Cloaked science can be particularly deceiving when it is surrounded by research from top tier scientists, universities, and institutes.

But preprints are different. They are working drafts of a scientific study that have not been scrutinized by peer-review, and only some have been accepted for publication into a journal pending revision. Preprints are a relatively recent phenomenon in science, meant to accelerate access to findings that could benefit the public and speed up scientific inquiry by giving scientists access without having to wait for the laborious process of peer review and publication, which can sometimes take years. 32CNN and The New York Times reported that Yan’s co-authors used pen names, although there is blogged speculation that the co-authors don’t exist. While the preprint does not indicate that they are pen names, The New York Times reported that Bannon said they did so for security. CNN noted the scientific community discourages pen names in order to promote transparency. Affiliations, too, promote transparency, and are listed at the top of scientific papers. The affiliation listed at the top of the page can lend or lower credibility, depending on the institution’s reputation. 33Li-Meng Yan, Shu Kang, Jie Guan, and Shanchang Hu, “Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route,” zenodo, September 14, 2020, https://zenodo.org/record/4028830#.X9zn3ulKjGJ. 34Jason Murdock, “Twitter Suspends Account of Chinese Virologist Who Claimed Coronavirus Was Made in a Lab,” Newsweek, September 16, 2020, https://www.newsweek.com/twitter-suspends-dr-li-meng-yan-wuhan-lab-coronavirus-covid19-1532193. 35Matthew Cobb, “The Prehistory of Biology Preprints: A Forgotten Experiment from the 1960s,” PLoS Biology 15, no. 11 (November 16, 2017), https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5690419/. 36Interview conducted with Technology and Social Change team. 37After upload, the curators are volunteers, and they accept or reject preprints into Zenodo communities. Forbes writes about BTS achievements through “BTS By The Numbers”
Forbes.com Tamar Herman wrote;
To say that 2017 has been a major year for the Korean band BTS would be an understatement. Between breaking countless records and growing to dominate the international boy band scene, the group’s ascent has drawn considerable attention. This week will see them perform at the American Music Awards and make appearances on multiple talk shows, including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Ellen Degeneres Show. Later this month, the K-pop septet will release a remix of their song “Mic Drop” with EDM producer Steve Aoki featuring Desiigner, known best for last year’s “Panda.”
While they’ve gained traction in America in recent months, BTS’ brand of reflective hip-pop has resonated with fans around the globe ever since their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool came out in 2013. An extremely dedicated fanbase known as ARMY, or Adorable Representative M.C for Youth, has helped propel the band's career through social media campaigns and other coordinated events, aiming to raise awareness of the act and their music, much of which draws on the millennial experience and addresses societal ills and human nature in a way rarely seen in the Korean music industry.
With all eyes on them ahead of their AMAs performance, here’s a look at some of the numbers that make up BTS’ career so far:
1: Ranking on the Billboard Social 50 chart for 48 weeks at time of publication. BTS took home the Top Social Artist award at the Billboard Music Awards in May.
2: The chapter of Herman Hesse’s Demian that is quoted in the band’s “Blood Sweat & Tears” music video. BTS’ thought-provoking imagery related to their songs and albums make frequent allusions to outside sources.
3: Position in line that “third from the left” member Jin was standing in when his looks went viral at the BBMAs.
4: Number of studio albums the band has released in Korea and Japan since 2013. They’ve also released multiple EPs, singles, and extended reissued albums.
5: Ranking on Forbes Korea’s Power Celebrity list of 2017.
7: Top 10 position of the Billboard 200 that Love Yourself: Her hit in September, becoming the highest ranked Korean album ever in the States.
16.5: Billions in KRW (roughly $15 million USD) that BTS’ label Big Hit Entertainment has received in investments since 2012, according to The Korea Herald.
67: Peak position reached by “DNA” on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the highest-ranking song by any Korean group ever on the American chart.
73: Number of countries in which Love Yourself: Her appeared at No. 1 on iTunes charts.

OK KO Back Into Red Action
3:42 pm including I checked the episode title first twice on TV and saw the time changed and the time many seconds ago changed on here. Now it's 3:43 pm but now I just watched the episode commericals on including I'm gonna mention spoiler in here I'll tag it.
Really it was a nice episode. Including a surprise mainly even if last night I saw a screen cap of the title last night okay bro came in here nothing much I said hi and asked him how was school he said good. Heard him close his door including he closed my door first after he left.
But yeah I saw mainly two screen caps of the title screen and checked the guide last night.
Honestly it's a good episode. Including we get to know more of Red Action. Looked up to the right, "We Got Hacked" is on almost put let's get hacked almost I at times think of that title.
Yeah we get to know more of Red Action and basically well see her in action. Basically the episode starts off with Enid admiring Red Action's blog and even surprised by Red Action taking a picture of her and her too. Including Red Action invites Enid yet she says it was an option and also KO is excited about it. Yet Red Action is able to get Enid to come along leaving the gum she bought to come out and some how take it.
Turns out and even during when Enid is looking at pictures on Red Action's blog she's a time traveler which is interesting. Including as the episode went on the world of OK KO is in the year 21x they said supposedly a year I supposedly while Red Action is from 31x so interesting. Right thumb itched right side of nose.
Basically hanging out and Enid and Red Action kind of having the time of their lives. They are soon chased by a group sorry if I spell this name wrong Futroop or some shit. Including sorry if I'm wrong they seem to be parodying the Power Rangers in a way or just indeed. Including the backstory of them and their designs.
Their chasing Red Action because by mistake she broke this crystal that's been passed down from generation to generation of other Futroops. Including yeah I'm kind of describing the episode.
I didn't laugh much if I remember. But it was a nice it was a Enid with focus now on Red Action. Along with I suppose character developed. Mainly this part when Red Action reveals who she is. Along with telling Enid she's more cooler then her and basically admires her. Including thinks she's very cool and that she's too nervous to even comment on her pictures.
Mainly the episode ends with the both of them deciding to fight the Futroop and a meteor Red Action revealed in her story comes down. Including a new crystal or something is there. Okay, "We Got Hacked" just got finished I need to change it. So it turns out Red Action never planned this and because of Enid giving her a look she tells the truth about that. Including she likes being in 21x and decides to stay there. Along with she's good with her team again.
Now I remember I wanted to mention honestly it's weird when I think of a timeline for shows. I think of modern day and I head canon Enid as 18 and if we go by today's timeline 1999 to 2017. It's some stupid shit not really. It's mainly how old is think she is. Including from what I read she's mentioned to be in her late teens which is 17, 18, and 19. She seems like a young adult to me.
So I just sat back down switched the channel to let me look yeah mtv2 with Ridiculousness on.
But also what happens next the two girls are overjoyed or basically with Red Action saying in a way it wasn't much of what happened. So Enid recommends a insane and extreme thing known as volcano surfing with Red Action overjoyed by the idea of it despite mentioning she doesn't know what it is. Despite the name volcano surfing oh head.
Really it was a nice episode. Also that Danger Zone thing I'm surprised their wasn't more of a reference to the Danger Zone song or even Enid referencing the lyrics or hearing the song. That's what I expected.
Also to be honest please don't be bothered by this. The way the episode starts off. I was seriously worried Red Action was gonna be a jerk and try to embarrass Enid and just destroy even more of her trust with people. I was being cautious. Basically kind of what happened, "You Have To Care" the back story we got.
It's mainly because the way Red Action is first presented in, "Your Everybody's Sidekick" and how at first she used KO along with the other quote on quote cool kids. Even despite the end where she likes it the KO helped her with her hair. I even just this Red Action blog I follow the idea she tries to keep this tough image of herself. It's mainly that episode. Basically other times she's appeared, "Your Level 100" sorry if I got that title wrong where she's a bit upset that KO isn't 100. Other times she's just been around. Including, "Plaza Prom" and, "KO's Video Channel" where he tells Enid and Rad about their dancing video and despite giving a critical statement or heads up she might of laughed at it too.
Including writing that last part I realized just why the.....for some reason don't wanna say the f word but just me over studying this well bullcrap.
Also the last time I wrote Enid's name before I mentioned the episode, "KO's Video Channel" I rewrote her name a lot even typos.
But yeah about Red Action it's quite off topic. It seriously looked like that to me at first. Yet turns out I was wrong good and a lot more heart felt that Red Action actually thinks Enid is so cool she's too nervous to comment on her pictures.
Honestly even Red Action's vehicle I thought I was seeing the tank from, "You Have To Care" yet it's a different vehicle. Even writing this post I think when I started about maybe I thought Red Action was gonna be that way I remembered what the tank well it's a tank it looks different no doesn't suck just this is a hover vehicle oh it is a tank in a way.
Honestly really nice episode I liked it quite a bit........should I mention it just honestly the shipping if you like it I have no problem. I'm not the biggest fan or even of the other one. Not being mean or anything yet it seems better then the one from, "You Have To Care" but I'm not the biggest fan of ships I'm sounding like a hypocrite. It's just I feel people are gonna talk about that. So I might as well say my opinion. What I meant I'm not the biggest fan of ships is that I don't really obsess not trying to stereotype or even think much about them or just it depends. Also some personal weird feelings too.
Got tags done almost left the word rags it's tags. Yet seriously good episode also think one of my friends started watching the show he texted me about KO having two voice actors and I'm confused too almost left the word room instead of too. But stuff like KO's voiced by kid Goku I'm not the biggest fan of Dragon Ball yet seen much more of it with Dragon Ball Z Kai and seeing it's still going. Kept retyping still. But also I don't wanna mention him because of spoilers for him unless he's seen the episode.
Ether wise almost left the word food sorry....I mean good just ticks.
But ether wise entered a few times by mistake sorry ummm just seriously good episode. Luckily next Friday is a day off 4:22
Edit 9:40 pm after making a post I found out it's 301x to 201x wow and I am just.....need to look better and I'm stupid at times because I forget shit seriously I really do I happened last week with last week's episode where I thought Enid's mom was a witch but I forgot she was a vampire. Yet yeah I made a post talking about so my head canons aren't off now 9:41
Edit 9:46 pm it just turned that time was 45 but I seriously need to focus on shit and be careful and also just...reblog something it's Jim Cummings birthday I'm just editing back and forth like last week 9:46

Wintergatan Album-less Tracks
These “secret tracks” are not really secret, but they are tracks that aren’t on a Wintergatan album, making them a little more obscure. I’m posting them to collect them all in one place. I suppose one could think of it as “songs with no official studio release”, which is a more accurate way to put it.
Originally posted Aug 2 2017.

Updated Dec 11 2017. Replaced “Marble Machine X VS the Original” with “Movingtofrance_2014intro.wav”. Added songs found in “Channel Update & Music Machine Mondays Finale Week”. Misc fixes.
Updated Dec 12 2017. Added “Music Machine Monday theme song”
Updated Jan 8 2018 with Hammered Dulcimer etc
Update Jan 15 with Moon and Star
Update Jan 31 with a track from Marble Demagnetizer - it's Mechanical! / Marble Machine X #24
Update Feb 7 - new link to Jelle’s Marble Runs BGM
Update Feb 14 with new tunes from MMX # 25
Update Feb 19
Update Apr 12 with Olivier, Local Cluster
Update May 23 2018 with Midi Demo 2 (MMX 33), Atlanten
Update May 30 with MMX 36, Prototype T
Update Jun 27 with MMX 41
Official Singles
Officially released on Bandcamp or other official webpages, but not as part of an album. The songs listed in the other sections haven’t been released in any official capacity.
Visa Från Utanmyra -- on Youtube. a traditional song, given a Wintergatan touch. A short making-of documentary is available here.
Tornado: Bandcamp release. A song that was played during Wintergatan’s 2013 tours. Never made it onto an album. Still cool though.
Marble Machine--okay, y’all already know this one. Next.
Emerson -- Bandcamp release. a song that appears towards the end of the video “Building the 90 Degree Kick Drum Fail”. Unreleased 2011 demo that was cut for “having too many things going on”.
Prototype 1 -- Bandcamp release. A song that appears in the Wintergatan Wednesday video “Prototyping Marble Machine X - Mute System”. The song was made in a day, just for that video, so it won’t be released on an album.
Multiverse (Twinsters Documentary Opening Scene): Bandcamp release. BGM for 3D Printed Drums - Marble Machine X.
The track is the opening scene from the "Twinsters" documentary soundtrack that i composed a while back.
Somewhat frustrating: the version in the video is different from the version on bandcamp...
...which is still different from the original song from the documentary! That version is under Unofficial Songs.
Provence / Provence (With Intro): Bandcamp releases. Piano improv backdrop for 3 Days in Provence / Marble Machine X - Part 7 .
Another track found in the rejected demo folder -- Bandcamp release. Used in the Welcome back to Wintergatan Wednesdays (and Mondays!) video.
Wily’s Castle. Youtube. a demonstration of the Modulin’s capabilities. Also, dope as hell.
Music Machine Mondays Theme Song
Music Box, Harp & Hammered Dulcimer - Bandcamp. BGM for a WWednesday vid. Starts as a remix of All was Well, but becomes completely new, ending on a riff on Slottskogen Disc Golf Club. Trivia: It’s the first song recorded in the new music studio in France.
Moon and Star - Bandcamp, BGM for a WWednesday vid. A remix of “Telescope” -- see below.
Sandviken Stradivarius- Bandcamp. BGM for the video Channel Update: Beta-Testing Youtube Sponsorships
“Olivier” -- A lo-fi remix(?) of Pedro. Really it’s just Pedro with the drum kick removed, so it’s only the piano. BGM for the video where Martin Molin makes olive oil, for reasons I have forgotten.
Local Cluster -- A jazzy track in the style of Tornado , found in the rejected demos. BGM from Making a Lego Powered Lazy Susan Photography Turntable .
Atlanten -- A synth track from another Swedish band, Teleskärm . Marcus Sjöberg plays drums, Martin Molin plays Modulin. BGM from MMX 35 (3d Printer Calibration). Marcus Sjöberg is a core member of Teleskarm so debatably their band is Wintergatan-adjacent?
Official Remixes
Officially-released remixes of Marble Machine, All Was Well, and other songs off the Wintergatan 2013 album.
Marble Machine (Concert Mix Götaplatsen 2016): Bandcamp release. A remix of the Marble Machine song. They couldn’t tour with the original Marble Machine I (too fragile, too hard to transport).
All Was Well - Music Box & Modulin Version. Bandcamp. Performed in a video, and across various venues in 2016.
Marble Machine - Piano Version. Bandcamp. By popular request.
Wintergatan Live at Victoriateatern. Bandcamp. The entire Wintergatan 2013 album, remixed for their 2016 tour. Some notes:
Intro: a prerecorded version of All Was Well, with more synth.
All Was Well: another version of All Was Well, featuring more melodica and synth sound, whistling, and no modulin.
the Giorgio by Moroder and Telescope tracks aren’t in this bandcamp listing for some reason. Copyright? They’re listed below, at any rate.
Unofficial Songs
Songs with no official release. Remixes and originals. Usually BGM from Youtube videos.
Sommarfågel (Music Box Mix) -- a simple remix of Sommarfågel, played at the end of the original Sommarfågel music video, in 2013.
Intro (Demo 2013) -- a prerecorded electronic track, played as a demo before concerts. Appears in Roskilde 2013.
Wintergatan at Roskilde. Their 2013 tour had some remixes of their studio album, which are different in turn from their 2016 Victoriateatern performance.
Wintergatan live at Debaser Strand. Some more from their 2013 tour. I don’t have the time right now to see if there’s any differences, but I think there are.
Multiverse (Original). The “original” version of Multiverse...? Or at least, a different version. Claims to be the original OST version. And yes, it is different from the official version of Multiverse.
Testing 3D Printed Drums for Marble Machine X: https://youtu.be/XbQjtEoK0Cs?t=2m10s.
“Building” -- the BGM in “Using a CNC Machine to Build Marble Machine X” . A remixed version appears at 5:05 of that video, but is better heard in “The Marble Machine is Finished! 2000 marbles, 3000 parts   ”.  Also appears in the video “Wintergatan 2017 Plans - Double Album, etc".
Unclear if it’s a scrapped demo, made for announcements, or a preview of the next album. It gets used a lot though!
"Movingtofrance_2014intro.wav” Appears in the video  Marble Machine X VS The First Marble Machine . at 7:30, and Trigger Mechanism - Building MMX Ep.#10 at 12:02.
Super leaked track that was only shared in the comments, and the download expired after a week. Martin didn’t want to release this one because it still had a click track in it, which he thought was unpolished. I still have it though.
"Behind the Scenes” -- BGM from Wintergatan’s video “Sommarfagel at Haldern Pop 2016: Behind the Scenes”. It’s got a unique sort of “rolling” sound, which sounds a bit like the turning crank of the Marble Machine 1. Possibly a preview for the next album, though it could also be a one-off.
"Pedro” -- untitled BGM from a Wintergatan Wednesday video, “90 degree Kick Drum Solved” [9 min, 5s]. A melancholy piano-focused track, apparently found in a scrapped demos folder. Appears (without drums) in Magnet "Midi" Music System - Marble Machine X #25  [5:43], as like a joke sad thing.
Martin Molin calls it Untitled, but I named it after the person who helped Martin Molin with the 90 degree kick drum.
“Skeleton”  -- untitled BGM from Wintergatan Wednesday, “ Programming Wheel Skeleton - Building MMX Ep.#7″. @0 minutes 45 seconds
Telescope (Concert Preview) -- a currently unreleased track. Part of Wintergatan’s concert set from 2016.
Telescope (2017) -- a remix of Telescope, above--set to be released on Wintergatan’s double album. The song appears in the video “Channel Update & Music Machine Mondays Finale Week”, at 0:00 and again at 11:53. We got a sneak peek!
“120 RPM/Volfpeck/Procrastination Meter” - BGM from Marble Demagnetizer - it's Mechanical! / Marble Machine X #24. Also appears in MMX 37 (CNC Magnet Levers) (at 0:00, 6:45)
“Midi Demo” - Sample/test tracks from Magnet "Midi" Music System (MMX25 [9:17]). Used to test the idea of “offset pins”. Made just for the video.
“Midi Demo 2″/”Butterfly Luck” - The same sample track from MMX 25, but improvised on, and revised slightly. Appears in MMX 33 (Conveyer Belt Marble Lift) [1:30], though I posted the mix at time [4:13].
“Jelle’s Marble Runs/Plywood Gear” -- BGM from “Channel Update and Music Machine Mondays Finale Week” (at 7:57) (has SFX over it). Also appears in MMX #24 (Plywood Gear, still has SFX over it). A riff that’s heavy on synth and bass guitar.
“Prototype T” - BGM from MMX36 Planetary Gears (at 0:00). Samples the melody from Prototype 1 (see 0:58 in Prototype T). Martin writes in the description “The music in todays episode is a track that i literally improvised today for this video, its inspired by the music of Teleskärm. I had no time to polish it up so there is no free download link yet.”.
Appears again in Flywheel (MMX 46) at 8:25; again in MMX51 at 10:11
“Demag 2″ - BGM from MMX39 (Demag Wheel 2). Bass riff.
“Muted [Downtempo]” - BGM from MMX41 “MUting system assembly”. Kind of future-funk riff, no bells this time. Also appears in MMX51 “Muting levers and 23 new parts” or something
“It’s been a journey but we’re now on our way” - BGM from MMX43. Martin writes:
I am always saying how fast i am making these tracks - its important to me that you understand the difference between the music you hear here in wintergatan wednesdays that i spent 2 hours making and the music we will compose and produce with care and time for the upcoming releases. So, this was a fun Half tempo Daft Punk pastiche that actually communicated quite well what this week was all about in the world of MMX. I think i enjoy making these background tracks cause i have no filter, no perfectionism, i just say yes to all the first ideas. Win loose or draw to quote Ricky Gervais "Humanity". I don’t want to publish this track as a free download on bandcamp, Its just made on a whim and also, Wintergatan music doesn’t have vocals :) But if all this repetition stuck in your head and you want to make sure that you never can forget it even if you´d like to you can download the track from Wetransfer here:
https://we.tl/3q2wUCPlGi
“Latheless/Crank Handle” -- Kind of future-funk -like music? With bells? No one’s reading this anyway so I can call it what i want . Appears in MMX “Making a crank handle without a lathe”
Dropping the Ball -- more bass. MMX 52, 28:25
Improvising on a 500 Year old Music Instrument - The Carillon
Giorgio by Moroder -- Wintergatan’s take on the track by Daft Punk. Part of Wintergatan’s 2016 concert set.
Marble Machine (Original Piano Cover) -- The Marble Machine got an official piano cover after fans requested it. However, that piano cover is a little different from the original that inspired the fan requests.
Rome -- A remix of a Nick&Simon song, discussed in the video (”Building the Music Box”) .

Common forms are collars which can be triggered remotely, or that are triggered by barking, fencing that delivers a shock when a dog wearing a special collar crosses a buried wire, and mats that can be placed on furniture to deliver a shock. Some aids deliver an aversive such as a spray of citronella when triggered.[61] The use of electric shock aversives for training dogs is the subject of considerable controversy. Supporters claim that the use of electronic devices allows training at a distance and the potential to eliminate self-rewarding behaviour, and point out that properly used, they have less risk of stress and injury than mechanical devices, such as choke chains. Opponents cite the risks of physical and psychological trauma associated with incorrect or abusive use.[62] PURINA.COM.AU Force-free trainers Facebook © 2018 ^ Jump up to: a b Millan 2010, p. 87. I was 13. 53. My most profound day was in a residential (again), I found my faith in God. My best friend (my only best friend) convinced me to go to the church on the campus, I was feeling down that day. But when I went, I learned that God put me on this Earth for a reason.  54. My best friend, Marissa got discharged from that residential before I did. Two years later, I saw her again, this time in a mental hospital, and the song that was playing when she got discharged was Let Her Go by Passenger.
