I rewatched WALL-E for the first time in years, it used to be a favorite of mine when I was a kid. But there were so many things I saw this time that I never noticed before, like

- The absolute extent of what could be conveyed and communicated with hardly a word of dialogue

- the amount of expression and emotion present in a character that literally has two cameras instead of a face

You could see the moment Wall-E fell in love.

The wonder and adoration, expressed only in the reflection of EVE in his eyes.

And the lighter prop was so much more significant, representing EVE’s connection with Earth and Wall-E’s connection with eve.

These robots know more about love than any person in modern day.

But the Beast from Beauty and the Beast is only a tolerable character when he's being shipped with Gaston. Belle is too good for both of them.
