in reference to this, even if they did keep Jill young for “story reasons” (which, well, I bet it’s at least equally much for ~aesthetics~) it doesn’t really make sense! she has the same look in the movie as she had in re3, which was in 1998, but after that she absolutely aged until re5 and when she was saved in 2009 she did look different than she did back in RC. so she would’ve had to age backwards, somehow??

unless they plan on remaking re5 and making Jill look exactly the same in the remake and then they can use the same models and just handwave it away with “oh yeah the virus makes her not age! (totally!)”

I think it says a lot about me that I saw the finale of Riverdale as a happy ending and it made me cry my eyes out bc I was just so glad they’ll get to be 17 in the diner forever . It didn’t read as a trap or a sinister perpetuation of the cycle or anything to me I was just like thank god that this moment will last for all of eternity. I’m literally Jughead like the abandonment issues run so deep I hope my heaven one day is me and my friends from when I was 17 having a party at my old house perpetually until the end of time
