Playing tkrbw has really made me think about why they live the way they do, in a citadel in the countryside with no humans around aside from the saniwa. At first it didn't make much sense, why would they be so far away from civilization and presumably the government? Then it occurred to me that if touken can't show themselves to the historical figures they encounter, they're probably a secret to the general public in their own time too. That still didn't answer for their lifestyle- it's so traditional and old-fashioned- but I thought about it and realized these weapons are from the feudal eras of Japan, with none of the modern elements they might have access to now. They probably do have certain modern amenities for the sake of convenience (running water, electric lights, etc) but choose to do most things in the way their former lifestyles would entail, hence the home-grown ingredients and traditional artistic hobbies. It's a really cool balance and a neat thing to imagine that the citadels are built to cater to the lifestyle each group of touken would be used to, while also allowing them certain modern conveniences to make life easier. They weren't thrust into a world where they wouldn't know anything upon being brought to life, they were introduced to a place with a sense of familiarity mixed with new things to help make life easier, and I just think that's super cool.

#And not to put this in the post but it makes me wonder what international honmaru are like. #Wild west era ones are probably small one-street dusty towns. Pirates might be a port or even just a ship #Medieval english ones are most likely castles #The possibilities are endless....

Thoughts on Ephemer x Lauriam and Skuld x Sterilitzia?

My personal favs, love them.

I think they're both very cute ships!!! I like the vibes and it's honestly a crime that there's like. zero fics about them (I say as the proud writer of the only Ephemer x Lauriam fic on AO3). I bet that if khux had a larger fandom there would be so many fics shipping the various Union Leaders together.

Skuld x Strelitzia gives the me the vibes of the "Princess x Knight" trope. Strelitzia's the princess and Skuld her personal guard/knight or something. Skuld does the kneel + hand kiss combo and Strelitzia blue screens.

Similarly, Ephemer x Lauriam give me like, "Prince x Servant of some kind" vibes. Ephemer is apart of the castle staff somehow and he is completely smitten with the Crown Prince. He's a groundskeeper who stumbles upon the Prince singing in the gardens one day. He sneaks Lauriam various flowers (with the help of skuld, of course) because he sees him eyeing them in the gardens.

Fun Fact: Whenever I play Miitopia, I have a habit of making the Princess character Lauriam and the Besmirched Noble's son Ephemer. Why do I do this? idk. it's just a thing I do.

Ways for the Percy Jackson show to handle the St. Louis Arch problem:

1) move the entire arch. It was over the river the whole time you’re insane.

2) shoot Percy out of the side like a rocket and have him sail 100 feet directly horizontal before falling into the river, Looney Tunes-style

3) water grabs Percy

4) Percy falls down out of the Arch and then the camera cuts and he hits the water with no explanation of how he got there

5) Percy knocks the entire fucking bridge into the river. There’s a minor explosion at the top and the whole thing just tips over

Danny up and left amity when he turned 18. he couldn’t handle the stress anymore. The long nights, barely passing.

It was only in his last few months that he and the ghost made an agreement. Most of them just wanted to spar. Ember was content with an online music a career. He got box ghost in a factory packing boxes.

They all knew to avoid and stay away from his parents at this point.

Still. Skulker and others were just to much. So he Left for college without telling anyone where he went. Ended up graduating early with a degree in engineering.

He gets hired to work in space!! In the watchtower.

Everything was fine and normal. No ghost, no issues, and best of all no mad scientist bent on genocide.

Now. He wasn’t expecting to get to work to witness nightwing chasing Youngblood around. How did that man even see him.

Nor did he expect Youngblood jumping on his back and screaming at him to protect him from the bully. And ignoring him wouldn’t even work as Youngblood to called him by name.

Then Youngblood to scream at him for leaving without so much as a goodbye. For leaving them with his parents still around.

Maybe nightwing won’t say anything? Yea right.
