Pleased to announce a new co-author on this account: my cat. Last night she decided that I'd worked enough on one piece long enough and decided to stomp on my phone in exactly the right way to post it immediately out of drafts.
So, uh, sorry if you saw a phantom post go up and then down again. It should be finished and up tomorrow.

The Breakfast Club (1985).
"The Criminal", "The Princess", "The Brain", "The Athlete", "The Basket Case".
A classic coming-of-age film that delves into the complexities of teenage life and social dynamics.
The film portrays the narrative of five teenagers from diverse high school cliques who are subjected to a Saturday detention overseen by their vice-principal. Each character in the film embodies a specific high school stereotype, the movie challenges these stereotypes by revealing the complexities and vulnerabilities of each character beyond their superficial labels.

The Three Jokers: Character Analysis
When you find out that in the Batman/DC universe it’s actually canon that there’s more then one Joker out there and at least three of them were all active at the same time at one point in time: WHAT
CANON WISE THERE IS AT LEAST THREE JOKERS AND THEY ALL HAVE NICKNAMES. I’ll list them below and attempt to explain each of them.
#1 The Criminal “Joker”: one of the earliest versions. He wants to create a better Joker, and considers himself the leader. “It hurts to laugh.” He thinks of himself as the original. He goes out of his way to attempt to create a better Joker for Batman with the help of two other Jokers, he wants to create a Joker with a backstory, a Joker with a name and an identity. He wants to be everything to the Batman, to mean more to him, more to him than anyone else. He thinks that Chill, the killer of Batman/Bruce’s parents, would be able to be the Joker who matters, and also implies that after Joe Chill’s transformation he’d be able to rest. He’s an old man, he’s tired - but he still shares an obsession over Batman. He’s more focused on the goal, less on the theatrics. He hates Batman, yet he can’t exist without him. Joker’s cruel, heartless, and most of all... he’s The Criminal.

#2 The Comedian “Joker”: also the Joker from The Killing Joke comic/movie, the one who paralyzed Barbara Gordon from the waist down (he shot her in the spine) then undressed her, took pictures of her naked and proceeded to kidnap her father and try to send him insane by (you guessed it) having him tied to a carnival ride naked while Joker sings a song about madness and shows Gordon pictures of his injured and naked daughter. This Joker knows how to make people laugh - he’s made Batman laugh before, and is the only one of the Jokers with a confirmed background. He had a wife and unborn child at one point in time, they were taken away from him shortly before he became the Joker. Batman knows his real identity before he became the Joker, and he also knows Batmans real identity. He would never tell anyone who Batman really is though, because he doesn’t want the fun to ever end. This Joker thinks in the best interest for Batman, and thinks that the both of them are the same deep down - he wants to be Batman’s everything, to be his greatest pain - so much so that he’s willing to put together a scheme to take away the pain Batman feels about the death of his parents, tricking Batman into feeling empathy and then forgiving his parents killer. All so that Joker can be Batman’s greatest pain instead. The Comedian wants to break Batman - but he doesn’t want their dance to ever end, because the two of them are connected. He wants to die by Batmans side, for them to die together. Joker also believes that just one bad day is enough to turn anyone insane, he wants to prove a point. The Comedian is the first actual Joker, the one Batman had created. Joker made the other Jokers, and he regrets making them - he thrives in chaos and anarchy and thinks of the world as one big joke. He wants to make people laugh. He is unhinged, obsessed, and yet so much more. He has hallucinations, “Well, that's what a dose of reality will do to you. It's why I never touch the stuff. I find it waters down the hallucinations.” (The Killing Joke), and he considers insanity and madness as an escape, a way to escape ones own suffering and the darkness in the world. Although he remembers his past, in his mind it often changes, he doesn’t know whats real and whats not. But he can be reasonable, he just doesn’t think he can be saved, he thinks its too late for him. He has a sadistic streak stronger than the others. He wants to make people laugh though, to see a grin on someone elses face, it’s what he wants most in the world, to see a smile, to make someone laugh. He is a comedian after-all. He recognizes and accepts his own insanity. He seems to have some values and some sense of integrity despite being what he is, he thinks of humanity and what they are capable of as “monsterous”, he seems to have lost hope in the world - now he lives to make other people see things his way, to prove a point. That everything is a joke, and he’s no different from everyone else, all it takes is one bad day to drive a person insane. He continues on due to his obsession with batman, its what drives him, without Batman, what’s the point of the Joker? The Joker is a madman, insane, clever, resourceful... and completely and utterly bonkers, and yet more sane then he seems to be on the surface. He’s Batman’s equal, his opposite in every way... and yet the both of them are so very similar in the end, aren’t they? Quotes from The Killing Joker: “Yes, memory is so treacherous. One moment you're lost in a carnival of delight, childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candyfloss. The next, it takes you somewhere you don't want to be. Somewhere dark and cold, filled with damp, ambiguous-shaped things you'd rather forget. Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children, no?“  “Remembering's dangerous. I find the past such a worrying, anxious place.“ “So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, headed for places in your past where the screaming is unavoidable. Remember this, there's always madness.” “You had a bad day and everything changed. Dressing up like a flying rat doesn't hide it, it screams it. You had a bad day and it drove you as crazy as everybody else, only you won 't admit it. You have to keep pretending that life makes sense, that there's some point to all this struggling. You make me want to puke.“  “I'm not exactly sure what happened. Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another. If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice! My point is I Went Crazy! And I'm smart enough to admit it! Why Can't You?“  “By clinging to reality, you're denying the reality of the situation. I mean do you ever think about how close we've come to world war 3 over a flock of geese on a computer screen? Silly goose it's all a joke everything we valued or struggled for... It's Monsterous“ “So, I quit to be a comedian, to make people laugh because when they laugh, they feel good. The thing is... They didn't.“ “So, Commissioner, I need your help. Well, that's why you're here right now, like right now, as in this moment. Do me a favor and live in it, okay? Anyway, me and my colleagues, we couldn't come up with one sound mind and body between us. So we're counting on yours.“

#3 The Clown “Joker”: He’s sadistic, he takes utmost joy in the suffering of others and he wants to laugh at others pain. He’s the one who had killed Jason with a crowbar by smashing his head and beating him up over and over again before leaving him to die in an explosion in the warehouse - The Clown killing Jason can be seen in the movie “Death In The Family” and “Under The Red Hood”. Gaggy is his Court Jester. He plays with laughing fish, razor-sharp cards, and acid-spraying flowers. He calls people “my darling”, he’s charismatic-ly insane and delusional, considering himself “the one true Joker”. He wants people to suffer and he delights in their pain. He wants to hurt Batman, and he isn’t afraid to hurt those close to Batman just to do so. He wants to make Batman’s life miserable, and he considers Red Hood aka Jason his Robin. He’s mocking, and has little value in his life. He has morbid and salacious humor, and he also has a thing for nicknames. He’s flirtatious and dirty and he loves his jokes. He actively tries to goad people into killing him, he seems to have some sort of death wish. Truthfully though, he just wants to laugh at others, is that such a crime? Quotes from Death In The Family/Under The Red Hood: "I knew there was a joke under that hood! I got you your crowbar, a dance, a little dynamite in your pants, and you were reborn! So admit it, son, who's your daddy?" “Gotta give the boy points. He came all the way from the dead to make this shindig happen. So who's got a camera? Ooh! Ooh! Get one of me and the kid first. Then you and me, then the three of us. And then the one with the crowbar.“ “What hurts more? A? Or B? Forehand? Or backhand? A little louder, lamb chop. I think you may have a collapsed lung. That always impedes the oratory. - Now, that was rude. The first boy blunder had some manners. I suppose I'm going to have to teach you a lesson so you can better follow in his footsteps. Nah, I'm just gonna keep beating you with this crowbar." “Okay kiddo, I've got to go. But it's been fun though, right? Well maybe a smidge more fun for me than you, I'm guessing, since you're being awful quiet. Anyway be a good boy, finish your homework, and be in bed by nine. And hey, please tell the big man I said... hello!“ “You know, it only hurts when I laugh. But hey... I gotta know. Who are you? You said we knew one another. You do seem really familiar. We double at the prom? Or maybe blow up a school bus together?“ “No! Don't spoil it, this is better! I'm the only one who's going to get what he wants tonight! Yes! Big-Bang-Boom! We all go out together! Don't you just love a happy ending?“

All in all, it’s not surprising to know that there’s been at least three different Jokers that have existed to be Batmans opposite.
