Of course I don’t do all those steps daily but on Sundays I try to do every single one of them 💕

Cleanser : Cerave hydrating facial cleanser and Drunk elephant n9 jelly cleanser or from time to time byebye black head by SOMEBYME.

Exfoliant : The ordinary Solution de Peeling AHA 30% + BHA 2% or Hello Body Cocos pure coconut coffee face scrub.

Lip scrub : Sugar lip polish by Fresh.

Lip mask : Laneige lip mask + vaseline on top.

Toner : Laneige essential balancing Emulsion.

Essence : Advanced Snail 96 Mucin power essence by COSRX.

Serum : Protini power peptide resurf serum by drunk elephant.

Mask : any sheet mask from Sephora.

Lashes : Grande lash above the lash line for growth and castor oil directly on the lashes.

Moisturizer : Advanced Snail 92 all in one cream by COSRX + Cerave moisturizing Cream for dry to very dry skin.

Anti aging : Yves Rocher Beauty Elixir 100% Botanical Origin ( I usually use Guasha right after that).

Anti-imperfections : The ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

That’s my whole routine, it can take a long time to complete so I usually listen to my favorite songs and enjoy an iced coffee while doing it 🧖‍♀️💅🏻

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

The slow burn growth between the girls hits.

That song is hummed while peach works in her garden on a day off. She can’t help but think about plum, worry even when she’s taking time out not on the clock.

Starting to smile more but Plum never sees, it’s under the mask.

A sweet thought to leave home grown strawberries on her boss’ front step, not about to get caught doing that…but plum likes them. And there’s way too many for peach to eat on her own. She does this with home made jam too. Learning plum likes pickles, she’s in her kitchen at home, eyeing vegetables that she’s got to use. Spends the day denying that she’s doing this for that woman, but Google’s a method, goes to the store, gets everything, spends hours making it just so. Leaves a jar of them in plums fridge. Doesn’t say.

Scared nights after battles where there’s quiet acceptance, peach holds plum tight, her duties are to protect her, and she did just that, but plum still got scared, it was close. An arm around her helps, plums head on her guards thigh, dozing off, peach cannot now move at all, keeping her eyes peeled, trying not to look at her boss through her mask, trying not to get caught up on this moment. It is embarrassing how much this makes her heart squeeze.

And sweet little plum, so unfairly treated by the world, finding her trust in a wanted killer. Learning to accept people are there to help, to support, the arguments and flair ups that show she’s just afraid, more that peach is going to go, or die, or leave her, less about the danger in plums own job.

Until one day they realise they can’t go on without each other. It’s too late, they’re down bad.

This is going to be extremely long and it’s probably going to become a series of posts 🫠 however thanks for enabling me >:)

I PRESENT PART ONE OF THE REASON WHY I PUT THESE SONGS IN THESE PLAYLISTS

The Captain

For these playlists I wanted to keep it in the specific time period but in some cases that may not happen. Without further ado, I explain the Captain in songs!

We’ll Meet Again: a self explanatory one. It’s a wartime classic and it’s also about the hope meeting loved ones back from the war

My Heart Belongs to Daddy: it was mentioned by the Captain himself in the show

I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire: a classic love song from the Ink Spots about a yearning love with the request of it being reciprocated (haha I used this song for a fic)

Moonlight Serenade: this was surprising to me because I know how popular it is, but the lyrics in itself was already enough of a shock because it was about kissing at the gate in June

A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square: I like to think this song is about the Captain’s feelings towards Havers in the POV of a bird. And also! The song of a nightingale is impossible and unbelievable and such are these thoughts.

I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major General: it’s self explanatory

Our Last Summer (Mamma Mia Version): it’s a gay dad hanging out with his alleged daughter. If that ain’t Kitty and the Captain-

ABBA songs: cmon. When Julian said “Money, Money, Money” he resorted to ABBA. That man is an ABBA gay. Waterloo? Using the battle of Waterloo as a metaphor for being defeated with love? Mamma Mia?? The Captain, even when Havers left, still loved him. How can he resist him? Gimme Gimme Gimme! Already says a lot. Hoe behaviour. Man liker. Lay All Your Love On Me, personally I think the Captain would get jealous of Havers for being so socially adept and good at talking to others. So now he’s just yearning

Can’t Take My Eyes Off You: the Captain would definitely not take his eyes off of Havers.

In the Mood: the Captain’s favourite song! Specifically the one about the daddy with the beautiful eyes

Sing Sing Sing: the Captain actually enjoys good morale amongst the men in a war. If that doesn’t explain the remain gay poster idk what. Sing Sing Sing is a big band song by Benny Goodman and in the BHA, during the New Years festivities a big band song can be heard in the recording. Not entirely sure what the song is but it had the same vibes as Sing Sing Sing

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy: he is a good old fashioned lover boy. He would be one.

It’s a Long Long Way to Tipperary: the Captain did a one man rendition of it in Music Club!

2001: A Space Odyssey Theme: depression.

When I grow too old to dream: the Captain may be dead, but he will remember Havers in his heart and most likely in his dreams.

In the Still of the Night: it reminded me of the Captain at his window spot in the film club room, looking out into the night at the gate.

Cheek to Cheek: specifically the Fred Astaire version because Fred Astaire is notorious for his musical performances and songs like Puttin on the Ritz and Cheek to Cheek are featured in musicals with him in it. This is more leaning on the Captain’s love for musicals and classics.

(There’ll be Blue Birds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover: hope that the war would finally be over and peace will finally come. Shows how much war is pointless. In BHA he says how the war is wretched and he hopes it will be over soon.

Chiquitita: another Captain and Kitty sentiment song :’)

Heartaches: bro had a heart attack. Call that a heartache. Now all he has is a burning memory of that man. This man’s heart literally ached for him.

Achy Breaky Heart: Carpe Diem.

There Ain’t No Sweet Man That’s Worth the Salt of my Tears: a song I just thought the Captain may enjoy. (Also crazy how every time it’s a man singing a love song and it’s supposed to be a woman singing, it’s sounds so fucking gay.)

Last Christmas: “it will all be over by Christmas. I’m sure of it.”

The British Grenadiers to Gibraltar March: I play holdfast nations at war, these are the military songs that plays when you’re a British musician for the army. He’d love this for real.

I Want to Hold Your Hand: once more with the Captain yearning. It’s a shit ton of yearning oh my god. (It’s also in Jojo Rabbit, a satire WWII movie focusing on the last year of War in crumbling Nazı Germany by Taika Waititi)

Can’t Help Falling in Love: bro can’t help it idk what else to say. He is a fool and he can’t help falling in love

Fernando: oh my god it’s about a man coming back from war AND it’s by ABBA

It’s Been a Long Long Time: the Captain’s sentiments towards Havers when they finally met again at Button House in 1945 (without the dying)

Goodby Yellow Brick Road: I like to headcannon that the Captain lived in the city and when he was stationed at Button House, it’s this song cuz Button House is in the country side. I can also say that this is about the regrets that the Captain still harbours even in death about what he should have done (it’s the instrumentals that get me. Its just sad Cap)

Holding Out For A Hero: that man needs to be saved. That man is a damsel in distress looking at strong men’s forearms 💀

The Day Before You Came: the day in the life of the Captain!

Under Attack: the Captain’s cold heart being thawed and his Captain front coming down in favour of James

Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow: When Havers told the Captain that he was leaving for the front. Cap's thoughts when that happened is this song. The urgency to love and to be loved. Also, in a historical context, Freddie Mercury wrote this song for his partner, Jim Hutton, who he had a long term relationship with. Same thing with.

Stand By Me: a song about enduring love through tough and difficult times!

Jukebox Saturday Night: One of Glenn Miller's greatest hits! He'd love it

Great Balls of Fire: Romantic repression but whops he's yearning. He'd hear this song at one point in his purgatory at Button House it he couldn't help but tap his foot

That is my first playlist explanation! Essentially saying how this WWII Captain would fight for love or essentially be a secret romantic who likes war things named James under that soldier facade. Aruto: See, Fumiya Takahashi can indeed sing! He's in an idol drama and I think the song he will sing is Kimi no Hana ni Naru (the same song his character from the said drama wrote I think) because honestly, he wants to cheer people up. He wants them to be happy and really, this song also reminds him that he isn't alone. Because someone, somewhere out there, will be your bloom, your blossom. There's going to be good things ahead. Somehow, someway.

Yua: See, Yua has a lot of stress in her life and she needs to let it out. Think Aggrestuko. So yeah she sings a lot of sings to get rid of her stress but sometimes she just wants peppy songs so I can't help but think she'll sing Disney songs and theme songs to shows she likes. A song I cannot help but think of is Heaven is Here. She can be as feral as she can be and be worshiped as she deserves.

Isamu: It's no secret that his actor, Okada-san, can sing! But Fuwa doesn't know any fucking English so honestly, he would sing mostly Japanese songs. Despite this, I think he would sing Believe 4 leaves. It may seem seem for him to pick out a peppy song but the lyrics: "If you don't need it, just give it up. If it's not enough, you'll just have to get it." just...scream Fuwa to me. not sure how. Also the growl. The growl too. Thats him. Oh and Exceed!

Naki: Tungsten. Find Naki waiting in that fire, find them waiting to help and support others. They are a problem in the eyes of Gai Amatsu but they rose out of it. They're strong, powerful. Oh and Carnival, because Satsuki can sing hehe.

Horobi: Lift Your Wings, sort of for Jin but for anyone who will listen. He wants to see people fly, to flourish, with or without him. He wants to alleviate their burden, why else is he helping Aruto and the others keep an eye on Ark? Why else would he chose to sacrifice himself like this? He will lift them towards the sky, no matter what happens to him.

Ikazuchi: Daichi-san can sing too! His song would be Bright Burning Shout. Idk the idea of him singing something that goes HARD. He's a skileld singer and Daichi-san has performed in musicals so I think something that would show off his vocal range would be ideal.

Jin: The Bha Bha Song! I just think it's cute and Jin who wants to understand more of the world...he wants a peppy sing to bring them all together (Humans and humagears) and he just wants to have fun! Expect him and Aruto to team up to sing all the time.

I love getting my life back together<3. Today was such a productive day. I woke up, performed my stomach vacuum exercises, made my daily celery juice and had it with my breakfast. I then oiled my hair and massaged my scalp. I did my skincare routine and made sure to apply sunscreen because I applied The Ordinary's AHA BHA mask last night so my skin was extra sensitive. I wore my posture corrector, sat down and finally finished an essay for my politics class, after that I decided to spend an hour or so revising for my math exam. I had a nutritious and filling lunch (chicken and quinoa yum), took my vitamins and then decided to go take a walk and watch the sunset at the beach. I played Cigs after Sex songs while looking for shells and enjoying the water; it was great to have some alone time. When I got home I threaded my upper lip, dry brushed my body, showered, washed my hair, moisturised my body and spritzed my favorite rose scented body mist. I did a few quick math questions and filled out a few application forms while i waited for my brownies to bake. I did my skincare routine and now I'm going to plan my day tomorrow and massage my cuticle oil onto my nails b4 I go to bed.

On September 21st 1808, Eóghann MacColla,  commonly known in his native language as Bàrd Loch Fìne (the “Poet of Loch Fyne”), was born.

Known more commonly as Evan MacColl, yer man was born at Kenmore on the banks of Loch Fyne, Argyll and Bute, not to be confused with the Perthshire Kenmore, on Loch Tay.

It was with a rich heritage of tradition  MacColla was born into, his father was Dugald MacColl who was possessed of “the richest store of Celtic song of any man living in his part of the country.” His mother, Mary Cameron, “was noted for her storehouse of traditional tales, legendary and fairy tales.” and the are he was brought up in was by and large a  Gaelic speaking region, hence I am using his birth name in the language he knew as he grew up.

Though MacColla was fully employed farming and fishing, and later with road repairs, he nevertheless received a fair education. His father was fond of literature and procured books for his children when he could. The local village school offered a very limited education in English, and his father employed a tutor who taught his son English and instilled in him a love of Burns  and of English literature in general. His poetic efforts began in boyhood, founded on a rich vein of the native Gaelic literary tradition surrounding him in youth and inherited from his family, although also inflected by the growing influence of Lowland Scots and anglophone literature.

The majority of the MacColla family emigrated to Canada in 1831, but he could not make up his mind to leave Scotland. He continued his employment in road repairs while composing many of his best-regarded Gaelic lyrics. He published his first book of poems at his own expense in Glasgow in 1836. This was The Mountain Minstrel; or, Clàrsach nam Beann, and it sold enough to give the author a small profit. In 1837, he began contributing to the Gaelic Magazine then published in Glasgow. From October 1838 to January 1839, MacColl made a tour of northeast Scotland which was recorded in a diary published by Alexander Mackenzie in his biography of MacColla. Later in 1839 he became a clerk with the Customs House in Liverpool.

He remained in Liverpool until 1850, when, because of declining health, he obtained six months’ leave of absence and visited friends and relatives in Canada. While staying on his brother’s farm on the Trent River, he was introduced to Malcolm Cameron, then a Minister of the Crown and was offered a position in the Canadian Customs at Kingston, Ontario, which he accepted, a  post he stayed in for some thirty years.

MacColla wrote numerous poems while in Canada, including one in Gaelic in praise of a Scottish organization in Toronto in 1858. Being literate in Gaelic and was a well respected authority on the literature of the Highlands Eóghann was sought out in Canada by those who took an interest in the subject. During this time he became known as “the Gaelic Bard of Canada”

One of MacColl’s English poems is “Robin”, written for the occasion of the Burns Centennial celebration in Kingston.  The poem’s easy and melodious expression is in excellent imitation of Burns’ own style. He had been for many years the bard of the St. Andrew’s Society of Kingston, and his anniversary poems are greatly appreciated by all Scotsmen. His poetic gifts were inherited by his daughter, Mary J. MacColl who was also a published poet.
