I probably should've said this sooner but there has been a change of plans!

Current Beeb game will be a stand alone game with the events of the comic and the other routes will be sequels/spin offs

Routes as in, the different options presented at the office starting place, the current game will still have multiple endings.

Why you say? well

It will take less time to produce

It's easier to code and manage one story at a time

The final product will NOT weight like 40 GB, i have like 2/5s done and it's already weighting more than expected.

Gives me more freedom to work on the other routes at my own pace, for better life/work balance

every time i vent a little about the kotlc fandom on this blog, i just imagine a chronically online 15 year old screenshoting all my posts/replies/tags to use in a witch hunt again

then i think to myself why does that even matter, i barely give a shit if that happens again because most of my friends are out of fandom now, and it’s not like it’s gonna get me mass blocked. the witch hunt didn’t even work the first time because i was in the discord severs and it acted as a buffer, because apparently the line of who they’ll block for being pro life and who they won’t is literally based on if you’re in their little friend group.

#the initial plan was to work august september #but it turned out i'll be going to vienna at the beginning of september so i was planning to work for almost the whole august instead #so i messaged a buddy of mine who's been already working in a few shops #to ask which ones would be most eagar to hire me for a month #he didn't tell me and instead went 'lmao only for a month?' and it somehow pissed me off so much #i don't need money at the moment because i have a shit ton of savings so i was planning to work mostly so i wouldn't sit bored at home #but everyone around me seems to think that all people my age should definitely work for the whole summer #that at this age that's how ot should be because adults should work instead of staying at home for weeks #well fuck you all the same thing was going on when i said i wouldn't make a diving license ans that's why im already considered a #disappointment to society #i was grinding the schoolwork like crazy this year and ended up with maxed grades from the majority of the subject meaning i will most #definitely get a scholarship that is like 500-800zl a month for a year #which is FAR MORE than I'd make working in some clothes store for 2 months #i was working so hard at school i believe i deserve a break during holidays because guess what? I went to Les Diablerets for a math workshop. Absolutely gorgeous mountain village in Switzerland. Still, on the third day, when the organizers provided a free afternoon, instead of joining any of the groups who were going hiking, I took the train to Montreux. I looked up at the snow covered mountain from my balcony and thought, if I’ll never get to climb up it, I will not regret it as much as I will regret not seeing Montreux when I had the chance. My thesis advisor made fun of me a little at dinner: she only lasted two days in the mountains, three was too much for her, and I took it all in good fun, but it is true that I love cities more than nature. Human settlements that can be reached by train are enough for me. I don’t need to climb on my hands and knees, huffing and puffing, drenched in rain and sweat, shivering in the wind, to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Reading on the balcony of my hotel that is reachable by train and looking up at the peaks from the comfort of my chair is enough. I love streets and trams and trains and tall buildings and human designed parks and supermarkets and bookstores and public toilets and ice cream stands and benches that let you charge your phone. The noise doesn’t bother me, I understand it’s the price to pay for everything else. I love being alone in a crowd of people moving through the streets, a little bit more than being alone on a deserted mountain peak. 

#i'm not a complainer and i can endure a lot of uncomfortable situations #so i like to believe that if i HAD to cross a mountain chain to get to freedom or something i would do it #but hiking for fun?? i'm afraid i'm at a point in my life when i don't really get #and ofc that i because i'm terribly unfit #but there's so much that could go wrong on the mountain. so much pain to endure until the top #it's just not really worth it for me you know? i don't take pleasure in that pain and i see no reason to volunteer for it #thoughts #i august i'll go to antwerp for another conferece. and the postdocs that were from there tried to tell me it's boring and there's nothing #to see there??? first of all bruxelles is 1 hour away by train which is nothing #secondly i love every single central european city i can sit on a bench and look up at buildings for hours i'm sure it will be gorgeous for #me haha

I have a class where I need to submit 5 papers but they can be submitted on any Monday of my 11 week school term, but only 1 paper can be submitted once a week.

I’m at the point where I need to submit a paper once a week or I will simply not be able to hand in papers at all.

I wrote this all to say that such a turning in system is too much freedom for my anxiety ridden brain I been sitting here for like 20 minutes making sure I didn’t fuck up the timeline and still can hand a paper in every week with the time I have left
