The two met before the time that the Arcane show started,,

Marly is an art student at Piltover’s Academy, but also specializes in History, Writing, and Genetics (SCIENCE MENTION?? 🤯🧬🧪)

Originally met Viktor via having to show him around the school when he walked in and became Heimerdinger’s assistant enrolled,, a friendly tour guide pretty much!!

With Marly being easygoing as well as easy to talk to, the two got along quickly

She’s fast to accommodate for others without saying anything. Keeping a nice walking pace for Viktor, avoiding crowded areas, never making any rude comments and being open minded (to which was heavily appreciated by Viktor)

Offered for him to have lunch in the school library with her, so he wouldn’t be lonely

Blud took the offer up, and they had a great time getting to know each other better!!

As time passed they grew closer omgg

Marly could now also be considered somewhat of a scientist, due to spending so much time with Viktor,, bro made her more of a nerd

But she’s still mainly an artist!! She would often draw him and even gift him drawings (Viktor has a lil drawer filled with things from her)

Marly doesn’t care that he’s from the Undercity, and doesn’t mind him limp. She’s very mindful of the latter, and does her best to help him out.

Fun fact she helped design his cane,, when he first arrived he still had some heavy duty sticks he tied together, but soon enough Marly helped get him a new one, practically hand made by her and some friends

Marly is VERY persistent when it came to defending Viktor when other students were unkind to him (she WILL beat their ass and WILL use her words no mercy)

MWHAHA THEN A SCHOOL DANCE HAPPENED? Whaaatt no way,,

Marly definitely went, dressed in a brightly colored dress, ready to party

She spotted Viktor in the corner and went to go over and talk to him

With enough convincing,, they danced together, with Marly being extremely mindful of his leg and all that,,, very happy close intimacy wooaaahhh, then they got juice bc they don’t drink LMAO,,, ooohhh that dance brought them much closer together HOLAY MOLAY

Hello darling! I'm very glad you've enjoyed my little collection of works! I'm working on so more seviktor peices, as they've taken turns with meljay and are now giving me brainrot.

The amazing @eddawrites was the one who introduced me to this ship and converted me into seviktorism. I'll share the post again after I post this.

My thoughts on Seviktor are this: they seem like opposites, but they are not. At first glance, Sevika is everything Viktor is not. Calculating, street smart, ruthless, outspoken. Viktor is oblivious for the most part, too focused on his research to live in the real world, and he shies away from the spotlight.

Now let's look at the ways they are alike. Both from Zaun, they share the mark of the city on their bodies. Their disabilities exist, and they have modded their bodies to meet the challenges. They both use shimmer (i have a hippie Seviktor au that i am messing around with), and they are both very loyal to those who they choose to follow. They have strong love for their city and long to see it improved.

There is so much potential in the ways they can empower one another. Sevika is a follower, seems unable to act on her own without a leader, and when, inevitably, Viktor descends into Zaun for good, she could operate as his right hand in an effort to better their city. Viktor as the leadership (revolutionary), Sevika as the enforcement of his vision. They have the potential to be the best team, binary stars, tunnel-visioned in their purpose. I want them to meet and immediately be fixated on each other.

In a time of loss and what seems to be betrayal, Viktor uses Sevika to replace Jayce, and Sevika uses Viktor to replace Silco. Why? It's easy to fall back into familiar patterns, even with different people. The connection that they had with people from their past will not be perfectly replicated, but that's not what important, it's about filling a void.

I can see them having such an effect on each other that they change the way the other sees the world and see themselves. I want them to appreciate each other in a way others have failed to, I want them to survive together. I want some codependency between them, where they aren't able to function properly without each other.

And if Arcane s2 doesn't give it to me? I'll have to give it to myself :)

Top 3 ships: My own ocs/personal ships always at the top. Then, Trickster Knight-Commander (player character possibility) and Daeran Arendae from Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous game (this was honestly my top favorite romance in any game ever). Recently Gale and my tav Eadgar (BG3) comes to mind. I hope I get some inspiration to draw them again soon haha. PS: I do like a bunch of ships of characters I don't own (such as Zagreus and Thanatos), but the brainrot only truly happens when at least one of my characters are involved, I guess haha.

First ship: Hm, can't remember. Probably Sakura x Syaoran from Sakura CC anime as I was really young when I used to love it (8? 9-ish years old), but it wasn't a hyperfixation.

Well, well, well. It has been quite some time since I last left you an ask of any kind (more like rambled forever on a tangent, but whatever lol). Anyways, this game seemed super cool, so I decided to return to Tumblr to do the thing... and here I am now! So onwards...

1 - So... this is very well timed, with you falling back into Arcane, but my favorite fic (beyond your lovely gift fics for me) was actually It Carries Over! And mind you, I'm not just saying that as a general sucker for 900 word fics (though that was a clear bonus, but because it felt so same-brainy in a way? The presentation, the emotional and relationship evolution between Cait and Vi over the three scenes feels like the perfect intersection between your style and my own, so it was very ooooooh to read and my brain really clicked on it! Of course, that was also a fic I reread (answering #12, alongside the gift fics).

Speaking of the gift-fics - both of those works, A Flower in Hands and A Brush in Hands, were super thoughtful and amazing (and were the 900 word type too)! Seeing you and @sliebman10 (who also wrote two super cool gift fics in my world... and I just realized I forgot to mention that in my ask to her oops, time for a part 2 ask after this XD) get your brains invaded by my idiots and writing pieces that are uniquely yours, even if closely aligned to my stuff, was really special and technically fascinating! Naturally, I've reread those pieces too XD

8 - The same-brain is strong, but the whole "building a scene in your head, and playing it like a movie" deal! I love how our brains are really similar in that outcome, but the way we get there is so different but similarly effective! But you already know that I revel in the details XD

9 - I am super excited for your new project! I don't want to spoil so much here, but after seeing you ramble on and on about the Lethal Company AU! It's always so delightful to see you ramble on about something you're super passionate about! That, and Part 2 of your inevitable Arcane brainrot, naturally XD

Look, my brain puts in soundtracks and cinematic angles for basic fics! I hear quivers in voices and can see facial expressions change! My brain is operating in 4K UltraHD! I just wish it would do the same for my own writing, that is, for actually writing the damn fics and not just daydreaming about them! Though I have to say, our brains seeing nearly the same thing while reading, down to the color of the scene, is just eerie and cool as fuck!
