2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

It’s impossible to pick one thing because practically every canon aspect of him I adore. So, in a list of no particular order: 1. His CHARM. The way he’s unaware of the true nature of his delusions but somehow aware enough to recognize that they’re something he should keep hidden, and the charisma that he exudes in the coverup. 2. The reason why he killed Dr. Vivian. Never has a character been characterized so succinctly and so well. OSC sure can write (sometimes). 3. “There should be more kindness and respect in the world.” AND LOOK WHO’S TALKING. HUH. HE’S INSANE. YOU’RE INSANE. HUH. HUH. HUH. 4. The fringe extremist group he spawned? I just think that’s neat. 5. Opening the door to the plane so he can force Petra to hold his hand; kissing, then killing Poke. His idea of love is fascinating. Something something the enmeshment of passion and pain and what that implies about his undocumented past. 6. Getting judo-flipped by Petra, being extremely collected about it, and then being convinced that it was all to demonstrate how Super Cool he is. Also love the fact that he’s easily judo-flip-able. What a small, frail, and insignificant man…

10. Could you be best friends with this character (provided he won’t kill you)?

If he doesn’t become a serial killer and if he somehow sees me as someone he can work with, then this is a tentative yes. I think we’d have great fun bonding over badmouthing other people. Not to mention, he seems funny. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t be of the caliber for him spend time on me.

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

See, I have an inside joke with 🍬 that Achilles could be a fashion model, and, because of this, I’m often reminded of him when I see photos of androgynous high fashion runways from the 90s and 2000s. Not the type of modern high fashion that’s somewhat incomprehensible; specifically the type where it’s clothes that look REALLY expensive, things that exude luxury without being overtly opulent. It’s either this or grunge punk. Tattered converse and roughed up denim. He should look like he just escaped a movie adaptation of a young adult novel set in a toxic wasteland. Ashen smudges on the face necessary.

hi! to be honest, my style is not all that interesting bc i mostly prioritize comfort and convenience over anything else but a couple years ago my friend did describe it as “androgynous and kinda preppy” which was nice 🤸🤸 it’s gotten way less preppy over time (i was a big fan of collars under sweaters in freshman year) but i still do feel most comfortable in more masc presenting outfits and styles so here are a few pics saved from my pinterest that are really similar to pieces i own!

big fan of layers and tote bags and crew neck sweatshirts and dangly earrings and chunky rings and the big pants + little shirt + bigger shirt on top combo!! also a big fan of layers which is why i die every summer when i CAN’T DO THAT :(

hey loz i am losing my mind. i’m not rlly following much plushblr but i thought you might be interested in the fact that i just learned ive had a rare beanie baby since i was like 7 or something?! its the weimaraner one and i have both the big one and the small one but i literally cuddle the big one every night when i sleep! i had no idea shes a weimaraner until i was trying to figure out if its normal that she only has beans on one side of her legs. she doesn’t have any tags anymore except the tiniest fabric tag that just has wash info so i didn’t even know to use beanie baby in my searches 😭

but i found her anyway! i still don’t know why she only has beans in her left legs tho :/

the official name of the plush is ‘Frisbee’ but mine is named Princess

ooo loki? what can you tell us about them?

oh boy. loki. as an organization head I named him after a mythological figure, namely the norse god loki of course, and honestly he probably would trick someone into killing someone with mistletoe. except he would never get tied to a rock with a snake to drip acid into his eyes because he never faces consequences for his actions ever.

mythological jokes and comparisons aside, loki, as the head of the obsidian, has a lot of major plot tie-ins, so… putting those under a cut for anyone who wants to wait to read em (I’m honored if you do)

loki leads the obsidian, and therefore has hands and eyes all across the world, and let’s be honest, he is NOT a good person. some say he wasn’t always like this, and heck he even had a family some years ago, but that family left him in light of his increasingly horrendous deeds. as to who is in that family well… I’m not putting all of my cards on the table and in sight just yet.

the obsidian was once a small band of mercenaries, including loki who was taken in by its founder when he was younger. with the founder’s passing, loki took over. eventually, the firefly started paying the obsidian off to do certain… jobs for them. this was when the organization was truly lost. they could practically get away with whatever they so pleased with only the illusion of concern from the authorities.

the power sort of got to his head, and with his family leaving him, he went a liiiittle…. insane. which is a SEVERE understatement given everything with the obsidian.

most people are afraid of him, the rest want nothing to do with him. no one knows the truth behind the obsidian’s… supporter (being the firefly of course). not even members of either organization know, only a select few and the leaders know.

loki doesn’t have a clue as to why ares of the firefly actively supports him financially, so long as what she needs done gets done, but he doesn’t complain.

Hundreds! Idk the exact amount but just sitting in bed counting what I can see I got to 113!

Aaa it’s so hard to choose! I definitely have favorites though like Sardine (zip teenie beanie), Fish Cracker (Mattie), Petunia Stardust (Purr beanie buddy) and of course all my Inch the worms!

7. How’d you get into collecting beanie babies?

I was super into them as a kid, my brothers and I had a hamper full of them and I’d crawl in there and hang out with the beanies. My mom got rid of them when I was still a kid but she felt bad about it and started to buy them back for me at thrift stores and that’s how I started collecting them!

8. Do you remember your first beanie?

I do!! It was this orange cat, I still have her she’s just in the attic
