having/getting a deeper understanding to a topic ( not necessarily study related). There is something about it, idk but i sometimes wish the human life was longer for me to learn and understand every single one of my interests. i want to know so much. I want to be an observer, taking in as much information as possible. I want to be smart, not just the science-math-book-smart but also the philosophical-psychological-type-smart.

mere pagle gharwale : Mumma, papa, meri sar dard choti behen ipu, scobby the doggo, and so many more ppl i just love all the deep conversations i have with my maa, she is my Gandalf, my Dumbledore, my Chiron, she is my mentor. She is just so amazing. She gives me hope that if someone like her can gain wisdom and change then why can't i. She grounds me to reality. my dad is a man who changed himself for his daughter at the age of 50(almost). He was never someone who talked much and is always tired and looks grumpy, but he made the effort to change, he actually started have conversations with me and i wasn't the only one carrying them. my sister is 9.5yrs old and she was ready to beat a 15-16 yr old with her heels because that girl called me a 'psycho' doggo, need i say more

First of all thank u i love deer woman hehe! 2nd of all by god I sat on this for over 3 months bc, like, see, the thing about scp is that the line between fanfic and canon might as well not exist. I sincerely recommend that if youre trying to get back into it you start with the actual site itself bc most of the good writers who are into scp are just straight up on there.

However (!) there’s still a handful of offsite scp writing deemed “too soft” for the site or written by someone unwilling to engage with the wikis greenlighting process (which I respect massively, same hat) that im very fond of that I put under the cut 4 you. I hope you find something you like in there!

Follows Troy Lament during the events of In His Own Image, but with a few more glimpses into his private life and inner workings than he is afforded on the wiki. Also features some really charming appearances from miscellaneous senior staff, most prominently Agatha Rights. An examination of what it would actually be like to work for the Foundation, especially under one of its old legends, carried by very real-feeling character interactions.

Clef/Kondraki fic taking place in the same universe as SCP-4231, and in fact written by the same guy. Perpetually unfinished, but what's there is enough to tear my heart out thrice over. Those old men can be so doomed.

Arguably not fanfic at all by virtue of being written by Light's author, but it fits the above-mentioned criteria of being offsite writing that I think is really underrated. Light and her assistant Vaux's first Christmas at their newly acquired Site up in Scandinavia where they look at ghosts and contemplate the past and the Foundation and their place within it. Wonderful little character study and full of the humanity that authorlight imbues all of her writing with

In the same weird not-really-fanfic-limbo as the above Light story since it's written by authorkondraki, but who cares. Set in the same universe as Quiet Days, Kondraki and his twin sister explore the ruins of Site-17 some few years after the end. A bit hammy, but I think about it a lot.

Iris angst set in the Devils Advocate canon but not necessarily requiring having read it to understand what's going on. Wingfic, which I didn't know was like, a whole thing, before stumbling across it but it sure does take the concept of "people having wings" places. Ongoing, I'm acquainted with the author and they're planning on continuing it!

Also I fail to pick just one but I think everyone should check out my friend John @handsome-john's entire ao3 gallery he is such a skilled writer and I think everyone should clap and cheer for him. Known on this blog mostly for Mann/Kondraki cannibalism yaoi so far but he's been letting me peep his works in progress and he's dropping some massive bangers soon it looks like. There's no significance of there not being a mangalsutra. They probably wanted no neck jewelry on Sanaya so she could look extra hot (and boy she did).

Odelie Mai was the only daughter and the second child of the royal couple born in 1050. Being a princess she was raised very strictly and encouraged to partake in many differ hobbies, some of her favorites of which included astronomy and philosophy. Being the second child and a daughter there wasn’t much expectations placed on her originally until her father spotted her intelligence and talent. Her older brother Alistaire was not as academically gift so Mai quickly became her father’s favorite. She reveled in his favoritism but tried her best not to alienate her elder brother. They both enjoyed pretty equal treatment by their mother who was very happy to have children and a family.

As the siblings got older the favoritism got worse and her brother and father would argue over it constantly. Mai tried to keep her head down in these years and focused severely on school. It came to a head when her brother announced that he wouldnt be going to any higher education, which really pissed off their father who wanted to disinherit him right there. Noemie convinced her husband to calm his anger but the relationship between father and son deteriorated, and Mai was blamed for this by her brother. When she eventually went to Miletus, she left to live on campus while doing so and met Merielle a royal from Glimmerier who was her roommate. Not only did they kick it off but Mai increasingly fell in love with Meri, and Meri felt the same. The pair after Meri’s graduation travelled to Glimmerier, Mai under the alias of the Comtesse of Larguite to get married. When discovered by her father the marriage was deemed illegitimate due to the alias, and Mai was sent back to Idealps.

She married Lord Kenichi Minawara in 1071, a man who she despised. The pair lived apart most of their relationship both in love with other people. In 1072 during a coronation dinner, Mai’s brother Alistaire ran away. Not only was this a great embarrassment for the royal family, but especially her brother’s wife, whom Mai became close friends with. Since their father had signed a document already abdicating, Mai was chosen to govern until hopefully her brother returned, however as she lost the desire to rule most powers were given to Camilla. Due to the difficult situation Mai was forced to potentially reconcile with her husband in the case that her brother didn’t come back before their father’s death, in which case she’d become Queen officially.

I wont reveal if Alistaire ever came back yet but >:3 enjoy
