ohhhh okay I love this!! so I had to look up what flirting under fire meant haha I'm sorry if I got this wrong, I took some liberties I hope this still counts!! It's very silly (but what else did u expect from me hehe):

It's a muggle AU, they're both working in a flowershop and I'm going to throw in another trope here and say it's coworkers to lovers, lots of mutual pining and timid flirting that gets bolder as the time goes on. Both are now preeeetty sure the other one is flirting back and likes them back but they have not confessed their feelings yet. Until one day there is a mix-up with a flower delivery and a very angry Karen comes into their store and starts screaming bc SHE ORDERED LILAC FLOWERS AND SHE GOT PURPLE ONES HOW CAN YOU BE SO STUPID GOD NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING AROUND HERE Come here Sirius!
