ARE YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE LIVING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS?
Cool, me too.
I’m assembling a community of like minded humans who can relate to the feeling of their own flesh+bone matter constantly contending with their sentient consciousness in a bid for power and control over their decisions and emotions… and/or humans who love other humans who continuously battle their own prefrontal cortex and endorphin creators for a bid at happiness…
come… rest here, weary traveller. find out more below ⬇️
delivered in a clear & chaotic voice of authenticity, my content centers around conquering challenges made into marathons by, often times common, mental health symptoms.
FIRST EPISODE: MY ROTTING TOOTH THAY ANXIETY AND FEAR HELPED ME AVOID
i didn’t explicitly reveal in the video… but I lived with a rotting tooth in my skull for months until it finally fell out of my jaw, months after my first botched root canal. 🙂
EPISODE TWO: STUPID WACK TAXES AND SHOCKINGLY I END UP MORE POOR!!! BUT I DID IT! (spoiler alert)
this new editing style for the 2nd video is going to land so ✨wildly✨upon your retinas…
i wanted you to FEEL what I feel and understand what those closest to me experience when I bang their lines with a new story of hardship overcome, as friends often do 📱🧠📱
unexpectedly entertaining & a true visual representation, a reflection, of the way I often perceive and process information and life😵💫
EPISODE ONE… was the prototype
for a fleshy & meaty ep 2: TAX TORMENT
(because it IS and ISN’T that serious) 🫠
I also fought a bug i guess… because spring sprung all up on me…

Hi there.
So I read your tags on an other post and thought I would give you challenge.
What were your 10 (or really how many you want) favourite locations in 2023 QLs?
Can be places or buildings, or both. Your choice.
Rose💜
@nothingsbetterthancoffee thank you for enabling on the clown website!! Did you have any favourite locations in this year's QLs?
I referred to MDL and so I've only included shows that started in 2023 and to keep this under Tumblr's maximum of 30 images, so I didn't include all screenshots for shared locations!
Anyway, these are my favourite QL locations from 2023:
1. Chong Nonsi Canal Park (Bed Friend, Chains of Heart and The Promise) (location)
Shout out to @winnythanawin (aka @aprilblossomgirl) for our discussions about parks lol
2. The timber mill (Chains of Heart)
I love wide angle and maximalist shots, so this location has been stuck in my mind.
3. Thai Muslim Women Foundation School (My Dear Gangster Oppa, Y-Destiny, Return Man, 55:15 Never Too Late, Midnight Motel, Never Let Me Go and My Only 12%) (location)
I love that the building has specific motifs that are seen in other Islamic architecture. But also, an excessive number of chandeliers is always fun to me. (There are also far too many shared locations, so I picked only a few screenshots).
4. Chakngeaw Chinese Market (Moonlight Chicken) (location)
Maybe it's the lanterns and the colours in the scenes, but I loved this location!
5. Como Metropolian Bangkok (Step by Step and Middleman's Love) (location)
I described this as a Pride & Prejudice moment once. LOOK AT THE HUGE WINDOWS. That is all, lol
6. 13 Coins Tower Ngamwongwan (Playboyy and 3 Will Be Free) (location)
I cannot explain how the slightly dead and uninhabited vibes of this hotel appeal to me but here we are 🤷♀️🤷♂️🤷
7. The houses (I Feel You Linger in the Air) (location, location)
These details are *everything*. I'm especially a fan of the windows and stained glass!
8. Factopia (Pit Babe) (location)
One thing about me is that I am chaotic. Look at this studio that's being used as a home. I love it lol
9. These two temples (Cherry Magic Thailand) (locations)
The boat is selling the whole idea for me, though I've been told that there isn't actually a boat operating in these canals anymore, but let me imagine it!
10. Chao Phraya Sky Park (Last Twilight and Low Frequency Pilot Trailer) (location to come)
I have actually been waiting to see this bridge/park used and was so excited to see it in Low Frequency's pilot trailer, though it didn't make it to the show. THEN Last Twilight showed up for me. Thank you to the location manager of the show.
11. Tokyo Tower (Shigatsu no Tokyo wa... / Tokyo in April is...)
Please ignore how bad Ren looks in the screenshot. I don't care that only the base of my favourite tower can be seen. I'm taking it!!!
12. Whatever this building is (Pit Babe)
I mean, I AM CURIOUS about it but haven't found the location. Maybe that's why I'm obsessing a little. Just let me find the location and I will get over it. Probably.
+ BONUS
13. Ikea Sukhumvit (Cherry Magic Thailand)
I'm just kidding about this one, but I did google to see where it was @callipigio
Tagging @blmpff, @callipigio, @dribs-and-drabbles, @telomeke because we discuss locations, or at least I make you listen to me talk about them. I'd love to know if you had any favourites/ones that I forgot to add to the list!
If anyone else has their favourite locations, I'd love to know!
Also including these collections of locations, because why not:
Troye Sivan's Got Me Started and its shared locations in Thai queer media
If I were in Bangkok, I might want to... in response to @lurkingshan's ask about my favourite locations
Yeah, i think my We Are tangent touhghts are less unhinged and more like normal incoherent thoughts cause of the nature of this show. but hey, it's all about the branding baby!
I just had root canal and the anesthetic shot is starting to wear off. so let's fucking go with Gay Vibes the show ep 5, the not so special loy krathong episode.
Ok fine! phum and peem were cute this episode. phum still needs a good smack or two but he was extra sweet on the not-date loy krathong and he gave peem that Super duper cute buffalo stuffy which is an automatic win in my book, sue me, i just loved when people use stuffed animals as love language (btw, there like no way a normal balloon darts booth in a temple fair would have that kind of detailed looking merch thing irl.) i liked that it's phuwin who get to kissed pond first this time around. i know that the "นายเอก" characters are supposed to be stand in for all the girlies but in the year of not my lord 2567, just let the bottoms be BOLD and Horny! more of this plz.
I think aou is one of the best gmmtv boys in term of acting skill and difinitely the storngest with comedy in my opinion. i loved him even when the script was kinda meh as the slimy senior in Enchante. and i absolutely adored him in Be My favorite. the tangfang loy kratong confession scene in this episode was mesmerizing to watch, the chemistry was oozing and its was delicious. although i've been gushing non stop only about aou since this show started, boom definitely is a perfect casting choice for fang. we haven't got a lot of scene with fang but i 100% understand why tan is in love with him. this man is so cool and aloof that it make sense that someone hyper like tan would falls head over heels for.
Toey contiuned to be cute as heck and such a delighful little cupid for peem and phum. and Satang got to sings my favorite BL opening i truly had been blessed.
So chain is a manwhore who would have thought. ok, i might be delulu here and just want to make excuse for my man chain but from the interactions he had with those girls i think he just like taking care of other people. maybe he dated every person who confessed to him and rolls with it because he care too much not to hurts their feelings. anyways this man doesn't need a girlfriend he need a puppy and well well he happened to have the most puppy personification person alive by his side :3
Lastly i want to talk about loy krathong. so i myself never vibe with valentine day, growing up i felt it's too commercialized, too pink, too heartsy, and definitely too hetero. so in my opinion valentine just fail miserably as a day about love. and here come loy krathong although it's not originally a holiday celebrating love it did what valentine couldn't for me. floating those krathongs with my family, friends, and maybe one day someone special *cry in single* are to me a more fitting act of cerebrating love of all kinds than going on a date and giving chocolate on a day some dead priest who probably hated queer people died (i have no knowledge about the actual lore of this day and i also doesn't care. 😗) what i want to say is that loy krathong in thai BLs = Yay! valentine in thai BLs = Boo!
Description: Kelani helps you with your nerves on the morning of your root canal that you've been dreading for weeks
Kelani knew from the moment she looked at you that you were scared as you finished getting ready to leave for your dentist appointment. The two of you eat at a local diner before continuing the drive, "Baby here, take this before we get there" you turn your head to see half of a Xanax on her hand which you took to help your anxiety mostly when you would go to the dentist or on business trips out of town for your job but you were very nervous today since you would be having a root canal which made your anxiety act up worse than it already does half the time when you're stressed, the nerves felt calmer as you walk in the office and wait before being taken back and waiting for the numbing to take effect until you were in a state mixed between being numb and half asleep. But you still felt pressure during the appointment for the next half hour which felt like an eternity once you got past the fifty minute mark, finally it was over after another round of numbing and feeling more tired than you did half of the previous night for another hour until a nurse washes out your mouth before slowly getting up and walking out the door, kelani immediately leads you to the car where you fall asleep as she stops by your favorite Thai restaurant then another hour of driving before being home leading to you watching tv while eating some of the food before falling asleep after changing clothes and kelani was sitting beside you after she brought you tea to help your stomach and relax your body so you could sleep which you do for the next four hours due to the novacaine that always made you tired but you enjoy more thai after waking up with kelani watching Chicago Med.
Wow kemarin ku habis libur panjang Jumat-Senin easter break 2024.
Oh awalnya kami bahas The Gentleman si Theo James bagus, terus seniorku bilang “kita tahu Theo James dari White Lotus tuh, bagus deh recommended”. Jadinya aku langsung subscribe Now (buat sebulan ini aja sih), dan langsung ngebingewatch 2 season langsung selama long weekend kemarin.
Si temanku ini sampai nanya “Non, can you see yourself living in Oxford for good?”. Ku jawabnya agak ragu-ragu, tapi setelah mikir lama: “I think yes”. Hhhh. Betulan deh. Vibenya tuh mirip banget kaya pas aku lagi ngerjain TA tinggal di Tuabatan, Timor. Slow living aja gitu. Saling sapa antar warga.
Udah sih. Apa lagi ya.
Oh, my verdict on White Lotus: it’s great 8.5/10 lah (esp season 1). Season 2 terlalu fokus pada kenikmatan duniawi berupa sex, jadi agak redundant aja menurutku. Season 1-nya OK sih.
Setiap hari sebelum tidur (setelah melakukan ritual duolingo), ku usahakan baca sedikit. Ku lagi baca simultaneously: Good Enough-nya Dolly Alderton (agak boring karena pov-nya white man brits banget jadi susah relate), Backwards in High Heels (ini mayan rame, ku suka banget writersnya super sassy jadi selalu giggling sendiri kalau baca ini), sama Your Brain on Art.
Lupa pertama kali kenapa sampe ke-ekspos sama Your Brain on Art tuh. Ku tapi sampe dibeliin sama RSL ni buku karena ku request. So far nggak terlalu seru lagi ☹, jauh lebih insightful baca This is Your Brain on Music-nya David Levitin (jauh lebih scientific dan jelas evidence dari argument yang dibawa). Si your brain on art ini jatohnya jadi lebih kaya anekdot orang-orang cerita aja dia kerja di suatu institusi mental health dan incorporating art in their method and it proved work (for some of them). Tapi yaudah udah kepalang baca jadi harus bertanggungjawab menyelesaikan Non.
Udah sepertinya itu dulu aja update-annya. Kerjaan lagi mayan behind tapi gapapa semangat!
Wow. Tapi ku senang banget. $35 yang super worth it.
Oh holdon, I almost forgot :v Did Flower almost kicked the bucket cuz they bled too much when Lullaby was born?
Short answer, yeah basically. They lost a lot of void and used up all of their soul reserves trying to heal. They obviously heal, but at thay point they already lost a massive amount of void and pass out shortly after Lullaby is born. Yeah, they lose consciousness without even knowing if their baby's alive.
Long answer under the cut, bc it goes more in-depth about medical stuff and childbirth. Srs, if you're weirded out or triggered by childbirth or medical complications I'd recommend not reading that
I'm thinking the main cause would be either because Lullaby was born in an abnormal position or because of placenta previa, perhaps both.
Placenta previa is a condition where the placenta partly or fully covers the cervix. Because the placenta is am organ dense in blood vessels it can lead to these vessels to tear during childbirth, leading to massive blood loss (or void loss, in this case). It can cause both premature birth an an abnormal presentation of the fetus at birth.
Premie babies are more likely to be born in an incorrect position, so I'm thinking another cause could be that Lullaby was born in a transverse position, where they'd be positioned horizontaly to the cervix and come out shoulder first. It's rare, but can lead to massive damage to the birth canal and damage the fetus as well.
So essentially, their womb and birth canal got torn to absolute shit and their body used up all of its soul reserves trying to heal all that mess.
Not enough of Bangkok’s canals in Thai BL for my taste. Didn’t even realize how extensive they are until I watched some of Bangkok Pat’s YouTube videos. I imagine there’s some hesitation to push the canals front and center until they get more cleaned up, but shots like this might help move that along.

At both the beginning and the end of the boat trip, we had to pass through locks because of the varying depth of the canals.
We then disembarked at Wat Arun where a 76-meter-high stupa is decorated with glazed ceramic pieces that reflect the rising sun and that gave the temple its name: “The Temple of Dawn.”
Rich assured me that pretty much every time I see a structure in Bangkok decorated with Chinese porcelain or broken pieces of it, it was build during the reign of the third Thai king who had a particular fascination with this material.
The stupa is built in layers, with humans at the bottom
and the creatures becoming more and more celestial as you move to the top.
A peculiar custom that arose at Wat Arun is that tourists, typically Vietnamese, buy or rent traditional Thai clothing and bring photographers to have their portraits taken there.
One particularly ornate Buddha at the Wat Arun has the Prabang mudra, a posture that my guide, Rich, described as a “calming the waters” pose.
We then took a ferry to the Wat Pho (“The Temple of The Bodhi Tree,” the tree under which the Buddha obtained enlightenment). The Wat Pho does not (and I know you were thinking it) mean “The Temple of Vietnamese Noodle Soup.”
It is this temple where there is a gold statue of the reclining Buddha, 15 meters high and 46 meters long.
The soles of the Buddha’s sandals are adorned with 108 images created from mother of pearl.
108 is an important number in Hinduism and thus in Buddhism. There are 108 beads in a set of mala beads (a form of rosary), and, behind the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho are 108 buckets. The faithful often come with 108 coins and make a separate wish as they drop a coin in each bucket.
As you leave Wat Pho, you pass a number of courtyards that contain dozens of Buddha statues, most of which were recovered when the Burmese sacked and burned Ayuthaya (pronounced: eye-YOU-thee-uh), tomorrow’s destination.
We left the Cumberland Covered Bridge parking area in a vividly colored sunrise. “Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning.”
A mile west, we see a sign for the road to the Covered Bridge. “Wanna drive it?” “You bet!” We take the small detour for the fun of driving a covered bridge. Most covered bridges are too low clearance for the RV.
A 5-point turn on the narrow road heads us back through the bridge in the other direction. Having sated our lust for covered bridges, we head west. The first thing we do is check the cloud cover forecast for the eclipse Saturday morning. New Mexico is looking better than it did yesterday, but there are still going to be clouds. West Texas looks completely clear, but it adds a lot of driving to see our friends in Colorado after the eclipse.
Meanwhile, the clouds are moving in on our drive across Illinois. At 7:46am, the cloud cover increased.
By 8:20am, it was pouring.
And by 8:39am, we were putting our sunglasses on.
We crossed over the Chain of Rocks Canal noteworthy mostly for our canal theme. The Chain of Rocks Canal is an 8 mile canal just north of St Louis, MO that bypasses a steep drop of the Mississippi River with a series of locks. This opened river traffic from Minneapolis to New Orleans.
We had lunch at Lake Stephen Park in Columbia, MO and walked Dora around the lake. Now, it was sunny and hot in the low 80s. Dora was her charming self to small children.
Back on the road, it was time to check the Saturday cloud cover again. The situation continues to improve in New Mexico. Thin clouds at 8:00am, clear skies by 2:00. The full eclipse is at 10:30.
We decide to check again in the morning. Jeanne calculates that we can drive as far as Wichita before we have to decide which way to go to find the least cloud cover.
Tonight we are staying with Tim’s nephew’s family near Kansas City and going out to dinner at Buck Tui — a Thai barbecue restaurant. The food was outstanding!! The Kansas branch of the family loves Halloween.
@lurkingshan Thanks for your ask! I'm going to admit right away that I'm gonna cheat with my answers because I am simply incapable of having a singular answer for things like this!
I'll phrase my answers in terms of some things that I might want do, were I in Bangkok!
If I wanted to take a boat ride with an optional and unadvised swim in the Chao Phraya River, I'd take a ride on Banyan Tree Bangkok’s dinner cruise boat (KinnPorsche) (location)
If I wanted to take a train, I'd go to Hua Lamphong Station (Theory of Love) (location)
If I wanted to cross a bridge, I'd go to the Chao Phraya Sky Park on Phra Pokklao Bridge (Low Frequency's Official Pilot)
If I liked drinking, I'd head to Philtration (Step by Step) (location)
If I wanted a hotel room with some huge-ass windows, I'd go to COMO Metropolitan Bangkok (Step by Step) (location)
If I wanted to learn some Thai, I'd find myself at AUA Language Center (Vice Versa) (location)
If I wanted to go to a park that used to be a canal, I'd go to Chong Nonsi Canal Park (Bed Friend) (location)
If I wanted some greenery in the city, I'd walk over to Benchakitti Park (Vice Versa) (location)
If I wanted to mourn a lost movie theatre, I'd think about Scala Cinema (Why R U?) (location)
If I wanted to get on a plane that didn't go anywhere, I'd eat at Na-Oh Bangkok (Vice Versa) (location)
If I wanted to practise diving in a pool, I'd find myself at the So Heng Tai Mansion (Our Sky x Dark Blue Kiss) (location)
If I wanted to visit an aquarium, I'd go to SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World (I Promised You the Moon)
If I wanted to check out architecture, I'd love to visit the Thai Muslim Women Foundation School (Never Let Me Go, My Only 12%, Y-Destiny) (location)
