Winter soldier did immense damage to me as a 14 year old. It's embarrassing that i still think it's good. Would you ever write in a fandom you're not in and have no clue about? (Like you've never seen an Episode, never played the game, never read the book etc)

That's a really interesting question I actually thought about quite a bit along the afternoon! Hmm, so let's see.... I think it would be very challenging (if not impossible) to write in a fandom I have absolutely no clue about because I need at least a hint of an idea what and who I'm writing about. What came to my mind were those "If you are someone who never consumed media xyz please try to explain this scene" - TikToks. I think that would be a possible thing to do, but really writing entire stories in a fandom I know nothing about? I don't think that would work out all too well. Thank you for this very nice ask! 🌸💕

The thing about ‘Tim is into blondes’ that really weirds me out is that no only has he dated more girls with dark hair but it’s that people are actively ignoring the women of colour that were love interests bc that doesn’t fit their narrative. Like Tim is shown to specifically not have a type like you said he specifically states he doesn’t care but in insisting that he likes blondes it just ends up feeling worse than just a little fanon. Idk I don’t think people are actually trying to be racist bc I don’t trust them to actually know canon but you know it’s just weird.

i'm obsessed with what could have happened if tim had got out the fact that he's robin...like would kon have immediately been like 'oh my god, thank god' or if tim hadn't gotten kidnapped and then avoids kon for an eternity as both himself and robin before hitting him with the reveal

there are so many branching paths!! here’s my fun/silly take on what would’ve happened if tim got to do his reveal first.

and i imagine that if tim didn’t get kidnapped, he would have come up with a new, sort of businesslike/emotionless plan to reveal his identity to the team at large, because he’s committed already, and he would have worked so hard to do it in the Least Awkward way possible (re: kon specifically) that it would end up coming across like he was both apologizing for ever seeing kon as tim drake and also preemptively rejecting kon’s interest in robin (which kon would assume tim knows about but tim very much would not know about). basically tim would get in his own way again for a while. and maybe tim drake would have some sort of publicized new relationship (fake dating someone to officially end the tim drake/superboy rumors) and kon feels so totally 100% fine about that and tim feels fine about kon feeling fine about it and everyone feels super definitely fine about everything for a while. then they’d finally have their feelings reveal the next time one of them had a near-death experience and then the superhero gossip forums would shift to talking about how superboy and robin were seen kissing on the golden gate bridge saturday night. ✌️
