Werewolf Jace x Witch Reader: Date A Werewolf They Said

Summary: Just a cute little series that I am working on with werewolf Jace and A witch reader.

It would be fun, they said.

You and Jace were having date night tonight, the both of you decided that it was best to stay in tonight, because the full moon is out. Since Jace is a werewolf, it’s harder for him to have control. When it's the full moon, Jace can’t really control his appearances like he usually can. Right now he has his wolf tail, ears, and his fangs are out. His eyes that are usually a dark brown, are now golden yellow. You always thought his wolf form was cute, and you love playing with his wolf ears. Jace is not complaining, he loves it when you play with his ears, it gives him comfort.

The both of you were sitting on your guys coach, in your shared apartment watching a movie. Of course Jace was clinging on to you like his life depends on it, he wasn’t kidding when he said he would be more clingy than usual. You are used to it, considering the two have been together for two years now. Jace was always the clingy one out of the two of you, which you honestly don’t mind. But on the full moon, for him it gets harder for him to be away from you for so long. His stepfather Daemon did warn you guys about this when you two started dating, telling you it was a mate thing. It will take a while, but it will get better over time.

You noticed that you two were running on popcorn. “I’ll be right back, I’m going to make more popcorn.” You start to get up to the kitchen, but stop by Jace, clinging on to you snarling and growling a bit.

You were startled at first, but remembered what Daemon said to you. You can feel Jace’s fangs grazing on your neck, and his hot breath tickling your skin. You turn slightly, facing him cupping his cheek with your hand.

“Easy there boy. Easy now.” You try to calm him down. “Do you want to come with me?”

Jace wined a bit, and nodded. Slowly releasing you, and the two of you made your way to the kitchen. You put the popcorn in the microwave, and wait for it to be done. Jace was holding you from behind, having his arms around waist. You were enjoying his embrace, then you heard him murmur something.

“I’m sorry Jace what did you say?” You asked.

“I’m sorry.” You hear him clearly this time, with a wine.

You turn around to face him, confused on why he is apologizing. “Why are you apologizing my wolf?” You asked.

Everytime you call Jace my wolf, it always makes his heart flutter. “For being so clingy when it’s the full moon. I know I should control it, and I am trying my love. It’s just hard…” Jace looks at you with sad puppy eyes, and his wolf ears start to drop, like a puppy who is sad when its owner is away.

“Jace.” You said softly. Wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you. While his hands rest on your hips. Both of your foreheads resting against each other.

“I’m sorry Y/N, that I am annoying you with this.” Jace continued.

“Shhhh.” You shushed him by kissing him on the lips. “Jacaerys Velaryon. You listen to me okay.”

“I love you. And this isn’t a bother. Your step dad did warn us about this when we first got together, and when we both found out we are mates.” You start to explain. “I would never change this for anything.”

Jace smiled, rubbing his nose against yours. “I love you so much. My sorceress.”

You love it when Jace calls you that, like him it makes your heart flutter. You kiss him once again, but this time more deeply. His tongue was exploring yours, tasting every inch of you, you can feel his fangs graze against your lips. As the kiss deepens even more, your hands start to explore his hair. While Jace starts to grip on your hips, you can feel his nails digging into your skin. The both of you pull apart for air, and Jace’s lips start to travel down your neck. You can feel his fangs on your neck. You hitch your breath when he found the sweet spot on your neck.

The microwave started to beep, telling you the popcorn is done. “Jace.” You try to get his attention.

“Hm.” You hear him, sucking on the spot on your neck. You gripped on his shirt, and moaned a little. You can feel him smirking at your reaction.

“Jace. The popcorn is done.” You try again.

Jace pulled away from you, but still held you in his arms smirking. “I have a better idea.”

Before you can ask what he means, he picks you up and throws you over his shoulders. Earning a squeak from you and a giggle. Jace starts to carry you to your shared bedroom, you know you're in for a long night. You wouldn’t have it any other way. Yeah dating a werewolf can be overwhelming, but you can never be happier being with the man that you love, your mate.

My Babysitter's a Vampire HOTD AU Moodboards Extended

Jace Velaryon based on Ethan

His unique ability came to fruition only recently, with strange blurred images appearing every now and again. Jace is a seer who has visions of the future through physical touch. He has a crush on his little brother Joffrey's babysitter, though he quickly finds out that she and others in his school are vampires. However, it seems that the supernatural creatures in town aren't limited to just vampires. Sometimes they get out of hand, threatening to cause chaos in the small town, that's where he and his friends come in.

Luke Velaryon based on Benny

Being a spell caster was apparently something that ran in the family, though it seemed to have skipped a generation before landing on him. His estranged grandmother, Rhaenys, a former spell caster herself gave him a spellbook to master his powers, though spell casting is not as simple as he initially thought. Luke quickly found out, however, that it does come in handy when he and his brother Jace find themselves against monsters.

Aegon Targaryen based on Rory

Though once a human, he was turned into a vampire by his brother Aemond during an episode of extreme thirst. However, Aegon didn't mind his transformation and if anything found a sense of freedom in his newfound abilities. Being able to fly and have fast reflexes has its perks, after all. The blood-sucking thing wasn't even bothersome for him. Occasionally, he helps his friends Jace and Luke whenever other monsters appear in their town, which surprisingly is often.

Aemond Targaryen based on Erica

Once a quiet and studious teenager after being bitten Aemond changed. He would argue for the better though his friends would say that was debatable. As a vampire, he's more confident and assertive though with a penchant for snark. Interestingly, the supernatural creatures in town don't end with him and his brother, Aegon. He doesn't know where they're coming from but he's willing to help Jace and Luke with getting rid of them especially if they irritate him.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?: I have 9 so far! I ended up deleting some old works that were abandoned and didn't have a lot of interaction that were over a decade old (and they didn't have bookmarks either so I wasn't worried)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Always! (and if I don't it's legit cause I forgot/thought I did and AO3 ate the comment). I love the community aspect of fic writing so if you take the time to leave me a comment, I love to engage. I especially love it when commenters ask questions and look for discussion.

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? probably one of the old Prequel Star Wars Fics I wrote way back in the day.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Right now, it's a tie between You're the Lighting of the Blaze and Bright Star

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not on my fics directly but I have gotten some rancid hate in my inbox re: Abby (And then that escalated to telling me to end myself so). This is why I now have anons turned off. Sorry guys.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do write smut! I'm not sure what it means by 'what kind'? I've done a few solo smut-shots, and Maiden will have a few explicit scenes when this arc is completed. I'm definitely someone who loves Plot with a side of Porn, and as long as the smut flows well and isn't overly repetitive, I'm here for it.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? I have written a crossover! I had a mini-series of Whedon-verse/Supernatural called It Must Be Tuesday back on LiveJournal. Sam and Dean meet River Tam in a bar and the apocalypse happen. Dean and Buffy hooked up. I was acutally very proud of that LOL

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not stolen but I did have some concepts lifted from a Once Upon a Time fic

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not that I'm aware of!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes! Soulmates Never Die was co-written with a friend at the time (we've lost touch since then), and then when I was in the Charmed fandom, I adopted out an abandoned fic of mine and was the beta/co-writer on a big future Fic series with Wyatt, Chris, and Chris' friends. Those were some fantastic stories.

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship? Oh man. I really love me Jacelaena and Helaemond still has a soft place in my heart (but the trajectory of a lot of the fics has just been... a turn off). Harry/Luna will always be warm and fuzzy for me (I used to be the ship captain back in the Fiction Alley days). Buffy/Angel was my first real Fandom OTP.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? Hmmm... I don't have anything right now that fits that. I did have Isabelle Martin's Life is Totally Over which was a Derek/Lydia future Kid fic that I was actually enjoying but the fandom was such an utter turn off by that point.

16. What are your writing strengths? God fuck if I know. I think I'm really good at tying things together/call backs and really emphasizing those themes. I like to think I'm thoughtful at cause/effect of character action and consequences.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I feel like my descriptions are lacking and I get lost in the weeds. I struggle with finding the stakes in a story. Conflict is difficult.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? me crying with dote on doing some appropriately translated high valyrian for Maiden instead of just copy/pasting from one of the online translators. Only very, very, VERY few people will know that they're grammatically correct and honoring the original development of HV, but it was important to ME.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Star Wars back in the late 90s.

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written? Maiden obviously holds my heart and soul, and it's always going to be everything for me, but I'm actually incredibly proud of Fight For Me (If It's Not Too Late). It was a two parter, and I wrote it in the span of a week? Maybe two weeks? and it was the last thing I wrote for a very long time.

It would be fun, they said.

Jace loves living with you, he loves the fact he can fall asleep next to you and wake up the next morning with you in his arms. The two of you learned about each other's quirks and habits while living together. Some of them are cute, and of course there are some that do drive the both of you crazy. Luckily you and Jace learned to communicate and compromise with each other.

One of the things that Jace loves seeing you do, is you practicing magic. Something about his mate practicing their abilities he just finds so attractive. It was night time, Jace was wearing black basketball shorts and he was shirtless, since Jace is a werewolf he gets hot easily. You were wearing a spaghetti strap tank top and black short shorts pajamas set. Jace was laying on the bed and on his laptop, writing his essay for one of his classes. You were in the middle of the room practicing one of your spells. Jace couldn’t help but to look up from his laptop and sees you levitating from the floor, a circle glowing a light purple around you. Your eyes are close and your hands are open, you were speaking the spell in a language Jace doesn’t even know.

Jace bit his lower lip a little bit, seeing that your tank top is lifting up a little bit. Showing a little bit of your skin and your belly button. Times like this Jace still can’t believe that you are his.

“God you’re fucking hot.” Jace says out loud, with no shame.

You chuckled, and your feet landed on the ground. You open your eyes, and you see your boyfriend smirking at you. You just rolled your eyes, and shook your head, not surprised that Jace finds whatever you do attractive.

“Jace, you think everything I do is hot.” You pointed out, walking to the bed. Jace shrugs, of course he thinks everything you do is hot. You're his girlfriend, his mate. You're attractive as hell to him.

Jace moves his arm so you can crawl next to him and cuddle with him. One of the things you learned about werewolves is that they love physical affection. If a werewolf has found their mate, any type of touch keeps them grounded. You crawl up to Jace, having your face into his bare chest as he does his homework.

As Jace types, you were slowly drifting to sleep. Feeling the warmth from Jace's natural body heat always gave you some sort of comfort and security. Just being near Jace just gave you comfort.

Jace noticed you were falling asleep, he chuckled. He finished typing and closed his laptop and put it away. Luckily for you two, you casted a spell to turn off the lights by command; just in case one of you fell asleep on the other and can't move.

"Lights off." Jace whispered, trying not to wake you. The lights slowly went down, and Jace pulled the covers over the both of you.

He pulls you closer, having your head under his chin. Jace kisses on top of your head and whispers. "Good night my love. Sweet dreams."

The two of you fell asleep in each other's arms, and slept soundly and wonderfully. Knowing the next day, you'll wake up in each other's arms.

Hi, anon :) Thank you for the asks!

7. Any world building you're particularly proud of?

Two supernatural (not the show) AU fics I wrote from back in the day! One was Blood Feud, which was a fic I wrote for the Arrow fandom that involved a supernatural romance between a werewolf and a vampire! Another fic with fun world building was Devil Dogs which I wrote for the Punisher fandom. Once again, I think this was such an interesting experience for me because the canon sources are pretty removed from the supernatural genre (mostly). So, it was fun trying to weave that element in a way that didn't feel super outlandish.

Another fic that I was pretty proud of was Indebted, which was for the Kin fandom. It was just such an interesting experience writing this modern Irish mob drama into a western!

24. Are there any easter eggs in [insert fic], and if so, what are they?

This is a tricky one, just because I've written in SO many fandoms. But, we'll stick to HotD for right now. In the A Brother's Love JaceLuke series, there hints of Aemond peppered throughout, not so much an easter egg, but he is not explicitly stated! There is an easter egg of sorts planned for the Luke Rivers series. Can't say what or who though.

Bonus. 37. A deep cut fic that didn't get the traction it deserved is most of my rarepairs I write LOL. Um in terms of HotD and specifically Luke Rivers, The River Road saw a huge drop off in traction at the time in my opinion. It was actually pretty disheartening, which is sad because i adored that aspect of the Luke Rivers tale.

JaceLuke in general feels very niche, but I've had such fun writing them.
