This is my late summer wildfire season fey eladrin (more like yeahladrin). His name is 7th of August. Those locust legs will send him flying for about 20 times his own body length. Thus far he's sent himself to fey jesus four times because he is very cool and very stupid. Thrice by his own fireball and once by fall damage. Overshot the cliff's edge by five meters because he can't see shit, lenses thicker than bottle bottoms.

Backstory:

Lor and her parents left the feywild when she was young, living in a small village not to far from the portal they left from. However, after hearing news that her brother, Xicxis had died in a battle, her parents took her to travel back to the feywild. On their journey back, they were attacked. Lor was told to run and her parents would find her. She did as they said, running as far as she could before running headfirst into a carriage on the road.

The owner of the carriage stopped , making sure she was alright. The man calmed Lor down, saying that she was more than welcome to stay with him at his estate until her parents found her. She accepted- not knowing that he would never allow her to leave. She was forced into servitude, cleaning, cooking, clerical work.

Years later, the manor that had kept her captive was attacked. She, along with others in her position, were shoved into a carriage to be transported elsewhere, only for the driver to be killed a little less than 30 feet down the road. The door of the carriage burst open, a half orc man standing at the entrance. He tells them to not be afraid, that he was once like them, and he was there to liberate them.

She found the group he was leading was the Unbound, freedom fighter who worked to free the fey and beast races from the chains of man, and that members of his group called him father. Father took care of Lor, nursing any wounds, teaching her to fight. Everything she learned about leadership, she learned from him. He inspired people. he inspired her.

It started off small, favors so run errands for him, pass along messages. But as she got older and more skilled in the arcane and the blade, he let her accompany him to stop the slavers of the kingdom. Eventually, he trusted her enough to send her in his stead, and it became widely known that her authority was Father’s and her words were his. She was given the title “daughter.”

It took her too long- far too long- to realize the unbound was not what they said they were. They said they were freedom fighters, those who sought liberation from man. However, she learned they sought to only turn the tables, put humans in chains instead. She had told herself these were things over her head, that father surely knew what was best. That is, she found herself shackling a small human girl, no bigger than she was when she was first in chains.

She realized this needed to end, but she needed a plan.

So, I drew my newest dnd character. His name is Ravazarwryn, Rava for short, and he’s an Eladrin Elf Wild Magic Barbarian noble who is sick of everyone’s shit.
