Yay, a blog I follow who also loves In the Flesh! What's your favorite part in the series? Mine has to be the reveal in the last episode of the first season where Kieren's family finally talk about his death and its aftermath. The show has been slowly revealing it over the first two episodes in conversations and Kieren showing Amy his scars but the reveal of how the aftermath his whole family especially his dad had been greatly affected ripped my heart to shreds.
Waaaayyy! A fellow In the Flesh fan. Fantabulous! Always feel free to come and natter about it anon. 😁
A favorite part... Uff that's a hard one. I'm notoriously bad at picking favourites. And 'In the Flesh' is one of those shows that has so many... Either heart meltingly beautiful, or soul renderingly tragic. But there are a few lines in the show that have always stuck with me over the years. And this one from Sue...just nails it.

I love how the Walkers aren't painted as eithet perfect or awful parents. There's a brutal honestly in the way they try their best for Kieren in a very difficult situation. And sometimes they fail him, but that they love him is never in doubt. And this line, you want to stand up and give Sue a round of bleedin applause!
Steve finally opening up and talking about Keiren's death though... You're so right. Your heart is just left in tatters.

Back on my Last Tango bullshit once again with probably my most ambitious project to date... Decided to write a Canon compliant companion to try and explain all of the moments between my two favourite stepsisters!
