Thinking about the Crane family’s chickens… originally, there were six of them: three named by Jacob, and three named by Wes. The two brothers split the chore of caring for them, but Wesley especially took a liking to it — and he especially liked when the chickens started following him around. It was nice, having the little creatures so excited to see him. But of course, on a farm like that, nothing good can ever last.

One night, Wesley woke up to a horrific sound. Bolting out of bed and down the stairs, he ran outside only to discover exactly what he was afraid of: a coyote had gotten into the coop.

He managed to scare it off with his dad’s shotgun, but not before two of the chickens had already been killed. Of the four that remained, three of them were Wesley’s: Peep, Mable, and Bossy. He vowed to make sure the coyotes wouldn’t get them, too, spending the whole next day fixing up the coop and building better fences around it.

Somehow, a cat has escaped its confines and accidentally managed to ensare itself in one of the smaller ventilation vents that runs above your personal quarters,’ Data inferred, tossing a sideward glance at Lore. ‘The most prudent course of action would be to liberate the feline and reunite it with its family ⸺ if it has a family.’

There's a difference. No, the actual answer is only mentioned once so far: Pitch Perfect, more specifically Jeca (and also SwanSongs aka Jesse/Beca/Chloe), even more specifically the secret good sequel to the third movie where Jeca can still win (and everyone is truly, canonically queer in a myriad of ways) that lives rent-free in my head, multiple pages of my sketchbooks, and as the Big Damn Fic™ I've been posting very slowly to AO3 since last year. Don't believe me? i still need to finalize my timeskip designs for Kris and Silver methinks . I've had Lyra and Ethan's done for over a year now but I just can't seem to get my finger down on exactly what I want for Kris visually .

For my verse and all this I'm having it set up like. Lyra becomes the professors assistant with Celebi. Ethan travels the world with Lugia and takes on as many challenges as he can, always looking for new and more difficult ones. Kris defeats Lance and becomes champion with Suicune and defends her title, ect ect . A self care afternoon for Pinocchio is an afternoon where he can REST. Curl up in bed with a book, take a nap if it's a VERY good day mentally wise (he doesn't tend to get a good rest at night, particularly in his teenage years/between Camelot and the Two Stars ending timeframe), enjoy the quiet...Being alone is favorable but not mandatory - he does like getting a break from other people every now and then, especially after being in crowds or something similar, but he also actively enjoys company. The caveat is that it has to be the RIGHT people when he's in this mindset: his dad, Archie, Lampwick sedated and not hyperactive...Eugene is also very sought after if he's not overstimulated, because a calm Eugene means a calm environment devoid of most stressors, and therefore a calm Pinocchio hanging out with him (:
