Hm.

That ofmd episode was…jarring. I don’t even know how I feel about it. I’m not really leaning one way or the other I’m just confused.

Calypso’s birthday is my favorite episode of the entire series so far, but everything after that feels kind of disorganized. It is to be expected as this season was produced during the writer’s strike, and the livelihood of the cast and crew obviously comes first, that’s not even a question.

I guess I’m just like, where the fuck do we go from here? I’ve got no threads to follow and my brain is frazzled.

Like I’m upset that Izzy died, big duh, of course that’s not where I personally wanted shit to go, but it went there and he’s gone. It doesn’t feel right to say his growth was for nothing, life doesn’t lose meaning in the face of death, death gives life meaning.

I think I’m okay with the ending of S2, we got what we got and I’m just happy we get to follow along for one more season. Here’s to 8 more episodes of Ed and Stede being innkeepers (nothing bad will happen) 🩵
