I saw this book recommended on Instagram & I gotta say A freakin plus W. Winters! Holy crap! This book is insane in the best way possible. I was on the edge of my seat in anticipation throughout the whole book.

Fellow warning though: if you’re like me and you saw this book recommended as a nice spicy romance read, it ain’t. It’s spicy, yeah, but it’s all action packed intense drama more than anything.

I defiantly have to post this review. I swear idk why I read these damn books. I don’t even like this genre. 😂I think Danielle Lori could write anything and I would read it. 🙄

Story: Mila is born from money & excepted to marry into marry & live a predetermined existence. Mila, however, only wants one thing: to know her history. Knowing she was born in Russia, Mila wants to visit but her father protests. So one night she sneaks out and boards a plane. She’s in Russia less than 24 hours before all hell breaks loose. She quickly discovers that her father is not that the man she thinks he is & he’s withheld many secrets from her. She gets attacked & ends up on the doorsteps on a deliciously dangerous man seeking help. Now enter Ronan. Ronan’s badass Mafia & rules Russia with an iron fist. He & Mila instantly have a spark between them. The first week they spend together is full of lust & blissful happiness until Mila sees something she should & Ronan kidnaps her. (Yes, freaking kidnaps her even tho she probably would have went willingly, sees as she’s all school girl crushing on him.) More hell breaks loose as Mila gets to know more about Ronan, her father & the dark underworld of the Mafia. During her time as a captive Mila’s feelings become conflicted & she ends up liking Ronan & slowly begins to despise her farther despite everything.

Oh! & Gianna and Christian appear multiple times throughout the book. (Ronan is Christian’s brother.) I do like that all three of the Made series books overlap.

It’s freaking chaos from page 1. Freaking, Danielle Lori starts off with this sweet lustful romance, love at first site crap & then bam! Intense drama & hellfire begins. It’s a really good read tho. But I will say that just like The Maddest Obsession I kind of hated the ending but given the type of book this is the ending was probably fitting. I was also shocked by the level of spiciness.

Anyway here’s my rating:
