Can we not pirate indie authors, please? We Own the Stars was up on 85 piracy websites! Guess how much I've made from that book so far? It's so embarrassing that I don't want to tell. I'll be fortunate indeed if I ever break even on it.
finding my books on pirating sites again & this new one has a whole song and dance about how "knowledge should be free" to justify it. I guess how to fuck a minotaur with a gigantic cock is some kind of essential information now.
so, I figured out what absolutely critical piece of knowledge each of my books offers to the world.

My writing goals for 2024 have more to do with the craft itself rather than publishing. I want to become proficient in writing sensual, smoldering scenes outside of physical intimacy. Leaning hard into my demisexual self in the new year, I guess. I've read really hot scenes this year that involved characters just LOOKING at each other and I'm like hell yeah. I wanna deconstruct and do that, too.
