Invisible ~ Never Alone There are moments in a day where I feel unseen or unheard. I am trying to connect to you and I can’t get my message across or you are not able to receive it. I feel like you’re ignoring me or like you don’t value me enough to pay attention to my needs. I am shrinking and start feeling transparent, as if nobody notices my presence. There are a few different ways to get your attention, will they all have the same effect? Before I try to reach you, can I figure out myself what message I would like to get across. I can simply show you this star, a quiet clue that indicates that I feel set aside and I don’t know why. Perhaps I can find one or two words to make my request a more clear. The most important thing at this moment is, that I reconnect with you again. When you look at me, sharing with you how I feel, will you recognise me again? To feel invisible is a powerless feeling, regardless of the situation, the intention or the reason it is happening. It is a state of mind that can result in unpleasant demanding of attention and harsh ways of indicating needs. Recognising this feeling is step one in the process of being recognised again. Once I realise that all the uncomfortable feelings that are overwhelming me are caused because I feel unseen, I might actually choose to stay there for a bit. Because sometimes it can be quite nice to be concealed from the eyes of others. Hiding away in my own little world for a short while might give me the comfort and confidence to grow back into my shining visible ME again! Rooted I feel safe in my own space, where ever I am. I am supported by everyone that is part of my life. Earth is my home and I am leaving light footprints everywhere I go. The colour red represents my love for others and for life itself. I know that I have to take good care of myself and listen to my body and intuition. My fears are real sometimes and I recognise them all. I am brave enough to face them or to accept them the way they are. When I don’t feel balanced in my roots I look for the biggest tree I can find and I have a look at its strong roots. When I close my eyes I can imagine roots growing from the base of my spine growing all the way into the earth. They keep me grounded and balanced. Deep breaths in and out will calm me down when dealing with my fears. I am brave. I am loved. I am safe.
