Fae darlings anon with more fae darlings! ;) starring the not so feral but can become feral darlings.
While I don't think Witch would need to become a fae, if she did she'd definitely be powerful. So powerful her skin almost seems to glow with this ethereal shine. The magic radiates off her in gentle waves, warm or cold depending on the season. You can't believe this ethereal being called you to her domain. Honestly, you're not even a novice witch, yet you still managed to catch the eye of such an ancient being. Since she called you in the height of summer, her golden antlers are at their largest almost seeming to touch the ceiling. It wouldn't be till winter when they'd fall off. You feel intimidated standing before her, so in a small voice, you ask "Oh ancient fae of seasons, what do you need from me?" But she only laughs, saying that she's not some ancient she was actually a 80s kid. You're confused as she then asks you for some of your weed promising to pay in money. Well, you can't expect all over powered fae to be eons old. (I don't really see Witch as the hunting type more like her usual self just now she's OP)
For Angel, I could see her looking like she's almost made of stars. Her skin twinkles with all the constellations etched on and inside it, like you could reach out and hold them. But when you look at her hair it's all feathery and soft. With small wings on her head and larger ones on her back, she looks like a space harpy or maybe a mother goddess. You'll often find her caring for her little monsters and even ones that aren't hers but have slowly become a part of her family. She's safe to be around you're free to talk without fear of being eaten, assuming you don't insult her children. Any who do become victims to her claws and sharp teeth, a true mama bear. But if you find your child missing and happen to stumble upon them after a long search. You might initially be happy believing that Angel will give them back to you. She was so kind her voice like bells, protecting your child from other fae. You wouldn't once think Angel to be the child thief, and she might not be, but finders keepers. As you stare into her wide pitch black eyes you realize you'll never get your child back. So just let her keep you're kid she'll be a good mom to them and she'd really hate to....hurt the person who created her newest family member.
Honestly, Angel and Keegan just see a lost child and go "It's free real-estate". Also I just know Angel got a owl neck that she swivels 180° when the kids are up to something.
Ugh Yes.
Darling thoughts and descriptions under cut, you know the drill
Witch doesn't become fae, exactly, she just becomes... more. She teems with magic, soaks it in from the air and it simply becomes her. She blooms with the seasons, always radiating the sun's warmth and shining like the pretty beacon she is. You see her on Price's arm and wonder how he pulled the sun from the sky, because he must have a goddess pressed close against his side. All fluffy hair and sweet words, she looks startlingly human, her magic repelling the worst of the wild's influence. Even for seers, the only difference is that she's harder to look at, it's like staring at the sun, it hurts their eyes, makes them blink spots from their vision. She leaves flowers in her footsteps, the earth blooming for her with each touch. She sits pretty with Price at court meetings and no one makes eye contact. She does occasionally call young witches to the woods so she can teach them a few things, pass on the knowledge she worked so hard for. Too many stories circulate in the witch community about the summer sun sitting in the frozen forest, you can buy weed from her it's cool, and she takes venmo. It's very confusing for young witches to see her pull out her phone to google something. She takes on a lot of apprentices, and is very patient with them. The ones that have seen her mad warn that her patience is not something to try, the sun is made to burn.
Angel is an angel, you're right. She's all stars and moonbeams, pinpricks of light shining through her like freckles, little constellation lines shifting through the starmap of her skin, lighting up different spots when touched. She seems very other worldly, many eyes --closed to keep the children comfortable-- and wings to cover them. She has a mask like Keegan's but she doesn't wear it, always cognizant of what will frighten a child, what will scare them off. It's not her fault if a child wanders into her part of the woods, it's yours for losing track of them. She and Keegan have their little monsters by blood, starry eyed and inquisitive, but they have plenty more that they've saved from bad situations. Angel knows well enough how painful it is to separate from a child, so she's happy to guide the babies back to their parents, all of them telling stories of strange angels that had stared at the woods with many eyes and a twisting head, that curled around them to bear their teeth at whatever unseen threat had showed its head. She's sweet as anything, always soft spoken with children, but she's more than happy to tear into anyone that threatens that. More than capable too, Keegan likes a darling that can hold her own(that doesn't mean he isn't hiding in the shadows, waiting for the word to pounce).

SYNOPSIS (MIXED WITH DC DATABASE)
The Mole burrows a tunnel below Metropolis and starts to dig through the steel beams supporting the Daily Planet. Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White sense the building shaking and realize the Mole is carrying out his threats. Clark Kent instantly slips away, changes to Superman and flies off to stop the Mole, but all of sudden his body starts fading. Superman gets pulled in the time-stream and tossed out in the Medieval England.
Tumblr media
Superman sees hundreds of people slaving around a strange disk-like construction which he's being drawn towards. Superman finally crashes into the ground, and listening to the villagers talking he gleans he's landed in 14th Century England, and Satanis is ruling over that people. Superman is trying to reason with the villagers when Satanis shows up, confirming he brought Superman there and stating he needs his invulnerable body to gain ultimate power. Superman lunges but flies through Satanis. Superman is wondering where the real Satanis is when his enemy casts a spell after another until Superman is captured, knocked unconscious and brought to Satanis' castle.
Tumblr media
Superman is brought to Satanis presence. The sorcerer still intends to rule all time, even though he is still weakened after their last meeting when his wife, Syrene plunged the Runestone of Merlin into the past. Satanis and Syrene chased each other through time, but Syrene cast a spell which got Satanis trapped by his namesake. The Devil was willing to strike a bargain, though, and sent Satanis further into the past. Satanis landed on that village, nearly dead. He was nursed back to health by the villagers, and annoyed because they had seen his weakened state, he killed them.
Superman feels incensed, but he's held in place by Satanis' paralyzing spell. Then Satanis points out at the disk-shaped tower where the Runestone is being drawn to right now. When the gem is caught, Satanis casts a spell to make its powers filter through Superman. Superman feels its power pulling his body apart, but Satanis doesn't care. He expects Superman's body can withstand the gem's power long enough for him absorbing it. Though, when he is going to touch Superman, he's repelled backwards by a force-shield.
Syrene appears and declares she isn't relinquishing her father's gem without a fight. Satanis and Syrene magic-duel over power-charged Superman's body and accidentally pull him apart into two separate Supermen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right after being split up by Satanis and Syrene's dueling spells, one of the Supermen reappears in 20th Century Metropolis right when the Daily Planet is toppling down. Superman finds he has lost his invulnerability and heat vision, but he manages to shore up the building thanks to the creative use of his remaining powers. Unfortunately he is struck by a falling boulder and plummets down, but he is caught and flown to safety by Harpis from the Omega Men. After they help him save the Galaxy Building, they try to leave on their quest to get help from Green Lantern (who is out in space). Superman is injured in battle by the Mole and is taken to the hospital and goes into surgery. Primus and Kalista bring Lois Lane to help.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mole, seeing that Superman is vulnerable, takes the opportunity to kidnap him and take him to an underground city.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Mole takes a weakened and barely conscious Superman to his hideout-- an abandoned underground city. His men right away want to beat Superman to death, but the Mole has other plans and orders them to tie him up and lock him up. Upon coming around, Superman wonders how he will get himself out of that situation. He has been split up in two supermen, he has lost his invulnerability and it'll be a while until his strength returns fully.
Meanwhile, the Omega Men return to Metropolis General Hospital and learn the Mole has turned the place into ruins and kidnapped Superman in spite of Lois Lane's efforts. The team decides to save Superman, but the Mole has collapsed his getaway tunnel, and they can't drill through it fast enough. Lois, though, knows of someone who can help.
In the meantime, Mole has chained Superman to a pillar and summoned a gathering of super-villains, every one of them wielding a weapon. Mole will let the one with the greatest weapon kill Superman in exchange for his weapon.
Meanwhile, Lois and the Mole Men make their way to S.T.A.R. Labs. Cave Carson is away, but Kalista's magic teleports him and his Mighty Mole in. At the beginning, Carson wants nothing to do with their problems until Lois tells him Superman is in danger.
As digging their way to their destination, Carson says he suspects where they're heading to. Long ago, he and his friends found an underground ciy. He also suspects the Mole is a former assistant of his who made off with an old model of the Mighty Mole and several underground charts, the first of several incidents which led Carson to stop trusting people.
Tumblr media
Far below, a villain named the Hunter shows off his Omni-wave blaster, claiming it can kill even a full-powered Superman. Hunter wins the chance to kill Superman, but the Omega Men turn up before he can shoot his weapon. Superman takes advantage of the chaos caused by his arrival and breaks his chains. Superman and the Omega Men join forces and take down the gathered villains easily. Lois shoots Hunter in the shoulder before he can fire his blaster at Superman, and Superman smashes the Mole into a wall. Superman thanks all of them, but Carson states what he only did what was necessary and walks away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later, Superman and the Omega Men are in the Fortress of Solitude. Superman has ascertained the elements the Omega Men need to fuel their trip back home don't exist in Earth, but he can obtain them anyway.
In the Justice League Satellite Superman is providing them with their much-needed fuel when the emergency alert sounds. Superman checks someone has gotten past the perimeter defenses and is floating out in the space. Superman tractor-beams the figure inside the Satellite and is shocked to meet the Teen Titans.
Tumblr media
In the midst of official investigations into the Titans' battle with Brother Blood and his cult, Starfire is affected by a Gordanian mental probe and goes wild. She is then taken captive by the Gordanian slavers under the command of her renegade sister, Princess Kornand'r. After battling the aliens, the other Teen Titans, with the help of Aqualad, restore and commandeer two Gordanian ships and follow their foes to their orbiting mother ship. There they are overcome by robotic drones and hurled into space, where Raven's soul-self sustains them until they can be rescued by Superman who uses a tractor beam from the Justice League satellite. However, Superman is unable to aid the Titans' rescue mission, since his powers were halved (as seen in Action Comics 534-541) by magical enemies, and the Gordanians escape with Starfire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Omega Men, a hand of freedom fighters from the Vegan system who have previously encountered Green Lantern and are currently working with Superman, take the Titans with them on their return to their home system. On the Citadel homeworld, Blackfire turns Starfire over to Lord Damyn, the repulsive Citadel chieftain, and learns of the Citadel's plans to kidnap X'Hal, the Vegans' living goddess. When the Citadel attacks Okaara, the Titans and the Omega Men aid in the planet's defense, while Changeling, disguised as a Gordanian, attempts to smuggle Robin and Cyborg into the enemy mother ship to rescue Starfire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While the other Titans' attempts to infiltrate the Gordanian ranks go awry, Raven is almost overcome by the evil Trigon side of her personality as she struggles to heal those wounded in the ongoing battle, and Demonia of the Omega Men attempts unsuccessfully to betray her comrades to Lord Damyn. Blackfire presents the Citadel leaders with the captive X'Hal, just as the Titans attack to rescue Starfire. A standoff results when Cyborg threatens to kill Lord Damyn unless Komand'r surrenders. Blackfire resolves the situation by ruthlessly destroying Damyn herself and claiming the throne of the Citadel homeworld.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Starfire recovers and attacks her sister, beginning a new skirmish between Titans and aliens, until Lord Damyn's Psion advisor takes control of the Citadel forces. He then pits Starfire against Blackfire in a duel to the death, ostensibly to decide Komand'r's succession and the fate of Tamaran, although he secretly plans a double-cross. Meanwhile, aboard the Omega Mens ship. Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Raven learn the origin of X'Hal from Primus and ICalista. Once the greatest warrior of the Vegan system. X'Hal was primarily responsible for repelling a Psion invasion, and was therefore made the Vegans high priestess and ruler. The Psions returned, however, killing X'Hal and experimenting on her lifeless body, eventually converting it to pure energy, which unexpectedly brought her back to life as a powerful battle goddess. Destroying the attacking Psions. she then turned her uncontrolled power against her own people, destroying three of the twenty-five Vegan worlds before she could be captured and brought under control by those who would later become the Warlords of Okaara. On Tamaran's surface, the death-duel results in Black-fire's seeming demise, but triggers a series of explosions that will wipe out the Vegan system (as the Psion had planned), even as the other Titans and the Omega Men are reunited on the Citadel homeworld. Vega is saved only when X'Hal breaks free and detonates the explosives harmlessly. Raven heals the badly injured Starfire. after which Koriand'r is reunited briefly with her parents and brother before returning to Earth with her teammates.

Aquaman has a dream of Mera calling to him for help.
After he awakens, he keeps an appointment to see Dr. Todd Carmel and Admiral Murphy at a S.T.A.R. sea station. They hope to learn how Aquaman telepathically “talks” to sea creatures, so that normal men will be able to do the same, by using a “brain-print” machine on Aquaman.
Tumblr media
When Aquaman asks if the device can be used to tap into a person's memories, and is told it might be possible, he has Carmel use it on him to focus on his memory of Mera's dream. When the readout on the dream-memory is compared to a real memory he has of Mera, the two readings match. This indicates that Mera's communication was real, and not just a dream.
Tumblr media
The process is interrupted by a quake that rocks the sea station. Aquaman checks outside and sees that the water around the station has turned solid, but is being ripped apart by tidal action. He breaks through its hard surface layer and discovers that the water below it is liquid. Aquaman summons whales to steady the sea station and rescues a helmeted diver trapped in the solid water. When he gets the diver back on the surface and the diver's helmet is removed, Aquaman is astonished to learn the person's identity: Mera.

REVIEW
Sometimes reading a Marv Wolfman story makes you read several other comics to get the full picture. And as if this wasn’t enough, we have Adrian Chase (Vigilante) first appearance.
First, the Superman story (which is not over yet), brings us an underpowered Superman with a Lois Lane that pretty much starts talking about her man when in proximity of other females. But she has her moment of redemption when she actually saves Superman’s life.
This doesn’t seem to be a memorable Superman story (but it is a long one). It’s a standard bronze age Superman story, which makes it very strange, as it blends into a modern age New Teen Titans/Omega Men story.
By the time the Titans are in space, you have to take a good look at Robin, and realize that the kid got far. The whole group are their own entity now. While Kid Flash, Wonder Girl and Robin seem to be very close to each other, the new members have integrated very well. We actually care more for the new characters, as the old ones sometimes have a very low profile, Wally in particular.
And Dick Grayson, seems to me, is very underused. But I feel that after this saga is when Wolfman and Perez will start playing with him a bit more (a relationship with Kory is very obvious at this point).
There is also the one story we all knew were gonna get at some point, with Starfire finally resolving her past. She was created so that we could see the Titans in space, and this has paid off very nicely.
Omega Men... I think their designs are horrible. But Perez manages to at least make them look decent. Wolfman is putting them on every title he is writing for, sometimes it works for the best, like in this case. Both teams had their motivations to go to the Vegan system (where, ironically, would face cannibals).
Finally, there is a new Aquaman back up story starting in Action Comics #536, with the return of Mera. Looks promising, but it just started at this point.
The art is obviously better by Perez-Tanghal. Staton and Swan are good, but sometimes the characters look too weird (mostly the Omega Men).
I give this issues a score of 7

OMEGA MEN #9-11 DECEMBER 1983 - FEBRUARY 1984 BY ROGER SLIFER, TOD SMITH, MIKE DECARLO, ANTHONY TOLLIN AND ADRIENNE ROY
SYNOPSIS (FROM DC DATABASE)
Kalista attends the royal coronation ceremony at the royal palace and resumes the role of queen of Euphorix. Her first official act as the reinstated queen is the deactivation of Euphorix's planetary shield. A huge celebration is held and hundreds of attendees rejoice at their newfound freedom from tyranny.
Elsewhere, fringe elements of the Citadel Empire regroup under the leadership of the Citadel's supreme military commander and the Earth man Harry Hokum. Together they travel to formerly occupied worlds executing political prisoners. They also succeed in locating the crippled Omega Men mothership and find the injured Harpis. Shlagen however, also on the ship, manages to avoid capture in an escape pod. Hokum sends a ship to retrieve him, and Shalgen's shuttle is shot down where it crashes onto a planetoid. Shlagen emerges from the wreckage but runs into the bounty hunter Lobo. Lobo agrees to take Shlagen to Euphorix.
When the Citadel learns that Euphorix's planetary shield has been dissolved, they mount a steadfast invasion. Raider ships bombard the coronation ceremony and the attending Omega Men are quick to fight back. They succeed in repelling the invaders and former monarch Alonzo Dulak re-activates the shield. Primus transmits a broadcast to Harry Hokum requesting a summit in the hopes that the two factions might be able to forge an accord. Hokum agrees to the meeting.
Meanwhile, Tigorr, on his way back from the Citadel Homeworld finds the scuttled remains of the Omega Men mothership. Inspecting its empty corridors, he is surprised when two predatory animals known as Ravagers leap out and attack him. He shapeshifts into his full feline form and fights back, but the overwhelming strength of the Ravagers prove too much for him and he is knocked unconscious.
Elsewhere, Primus sends Nimbus to act as the Omega Men's official delegate. He arrives at the pre-arranged meeting place to discuss terms with Harry Hokum. Unfortunately for Nimbus, Hokum baits him into a trap and Nimubs is locked inside an airtight room. Even his shadow powers won't allow him to escape. When Primus learns what has happened, he has little choice but to turn to Lobo for help. Lobo agrees to help Primus, but for a very special price - a single human life.
Tumblr media
Lobo brings the remaining fugitive Omega Men to a prison planet run by the Citadel. Harry Hokum is content with simply disintegrating the lot of them, but the Citadel commander wants to savor their pain. Once inside, the Omega Men are marched down one of the numerous prison blocks. Suddenly, the Omega Men break free of their bonds. It was all a ruse. Lobo is actually working alongside the Omega Men in an effort to rescue their captured allies. Harry Hokum presses a switch that releases a pack of Ravagers. The vicious animals pounce on the Omega Men and even their own various powers are not enough to keep them at bay. Broot, still haunted by his recent experiences, is reluctant to raise his fists, even to defend himself. Lobo encourages the Changralynian by planting the idea that the ones responsible for ordering the death of Broot's child might reside inside this facility. Brute finally unleashes his anger and begins battering the walls until his fists smash through to an adjacent passageway. The Omega Men scramble into the tunnel to escape from the Ravagers.
The tunnel leads them to the prison's command center where the Citadel commander and Harry Hokum have Tigorr suspended from a torture device. Primus uses his telekinesis to unseat the Citadel commander, bringing him down to their level. Harry activates a laser grid, but the Omega Men have come prepared for just such a trap. Each of them is fitted with a personal force shield designed by Euphorix's Alonzo Dulak. Lobo disconnects an explosive device from his belt and gets in close to the Citadel commander. The device explodes and the commander is killed. Primus extends his force shield to protect Lobo from the blast.
Tumblr media
Harry Hokum, in a bid to consolidate his power proposes a deal with the Omega Men. Now that the commander has been killed, Harry is the highest ranking member of the old Citadel Empire. He suggests that Primus and he should split the territory of the Vega star system between them. After some deliberation, Primus agrees, but with the caveat that Hokum's Empire may only include worlds that join with him of their own free will. All others will be invited to join the New Vega coalition. Hokum agrees and a broadcast is sent out to the various races within the Vega star system. Surprisingly, several worlds voluntarily agree to become part of the New Citadel Empire, including Broot's home world of Changralyn. Just as many however, decide to align themselves with Primus.
After solidifying the deal, Primus receives a message from Kalista on Euphorix. Unwilling to risk any further invasions to her world, she is erecting the planetary shield permanently. Once this is done, nobody will be able to enter or leave Euphorian air space. Primus is left with a choice: Stay and help rebuild the coalition of free Vegan worlds, or return to the world of his birth.
The Omega Men bring Harpis to the world of Rashashoon. Harpis has suffered a sever nervous breakdown due to her injuries as well as learning that her sister Demonia had been killed. Prior to becoming the winged warrior, Harpis spent a great deal of her youth working at a bordello in the city of Raggashoon. The bordello's mistress Mama Madame greets the Omega Men and Harpis is hooked up to a neural stabilizer. Mama Madame uses a process known as a Psycho-Drama in an effort to heal Harpis' psychological scars. The Omega Men witness the visual display and learn a great deal about their teammate's past.
Flashback While still humanoid, Harpis and her older sister Demonia came to Raggashoon many years ago to work as professional companions. hey were both thrilled with the prospect of earning wealth and power and living in the sort of opulence that only Mama Madame could provide. Harpis found herself highly suited to most of Raggashoon's clients and became one of Madame's most popular providers - even more so than her jealous, yet protective sister Demonia. Although Mama Madame usually catered to clients loyal to the Citadel, she also provided companionship to various revolutionaries.
During these years, Harpis had relations with the Karnan Tigorr, as well as Tigorr's second-in-command Delengis Jarouq, the latter of whom she fell deeply in love with. Such attachment was strongly discouraged amongst those under Mama Madame's charge and it was made all the worse by the fact that Jarouq was a revolutionary.
One evening, a high ranking Citadel leader, Komand'r of Tamaran, came to Raggashoon to find suitable mates for her troops. Harpis and Demonia were both selected, but Komand'r was not content with simply hiring them for an evening. She had both women undergo drastic genetic modification so that they would be physically alluring for their selected mates. Demonia was transformed into a serpentine woman whose visage reflected her twisted heart. Harpis was turned into a winged bat-like creature with claws and a tail. While Demonia embraced her new appearance, Harpis was horrified. Komand'r would often times have the women present at battle sites so they could witness their mates in action. Harpis was present when Komand'r's forces fought against Tigorr's revolutionaries at the Battle of Tamaran.
Seeing her lover Delengis Jarouq present on the field, she could no longer sit idly by and do nothing. She fled from her keepers and joined the ranks of the revolutionaries. The revolt failed, and Harpis was sent to a prison planet along with Delengis and Tigorr.
While in prison, Harpis learned that another band of revolutionaries led by the warriors Primus, Broot and Kalista had staged a breakout. This incident exploded into a violent firefight and where it was believed that Jarouq had been killed. Free from captivity, Harpis, Demonia and Tigorr joined with Primus' team to form the Omega Men.
Tumblr media
As the rest of the Omega Men keep vigil over their comrade, a strange visitor enters the room - Delengis Jaroug. He had actually survived the original attack, but is now a cyborg.
REVIEW
This could count as a “Secret Origins” for the whole group, but there is still much backstory to reveal. This is amazing because it means that there may have been some kind of bible before the series started (either that or Slifer improvised very well).
This Lobo is a different character, he is not even a Czarnian yet. I wonder if we are going to see him change before the crisis. He is more intelligent than the Lobo we know.
Primus makes some really difficult choices, and while Tigorr failed in keeping the peace... I still agree with his methods. There is no diplomacy that can keep freedom in the Vegan Star System at this point.
I give these issues a score of 8
