Lyrics from I Will Be Back One Day by Lord Huron
A while ago I said I had a post-Trimax comic idea. It proved to be far too complicated drawing-wise, so I had to abandon it. Instead I've condensed several ideas from that and other potential pieces into this. I tried to keep everything as simple and relaxed as I could so finishing would be easier. Some things might look messy though.
In The Wind from the same album (Lonesome Dreams) is a good companion song. That one feels more like Meryl's perspective. I could probably connect anything to Lord Huron, but Trigun fits especially well with several tracks.

5 sentences fic, with Charles and Lando where Lando is sitting on Charles lap trying to get Charles’ attention while he is on the simulator <3
There's another heavy sigh behind him, drawn out and exaggerated beyond anything believable and Charles bites the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing.
He keeps his eyes forward, focus on the track in front of him, memorising the apexes and optimal lines, where track limits might get pushed, embedding them enough in his mind he'd be able to race with his eyes closed.
There's another sigh, this one sad and a little frustrated, and Charles hears movement behind him as his boyfriend shifts from being sprawled dramatically across the sofa. There's a shuffle of socks on carpet, a little ruffling of fabric that he knows means Lando's pulled his sleeves to cover his hands, and then he's being nudged.
Lando doesn't say anything and neither does he. He simply moves his arm, carefully steering as best he can with one hand, letting Lando lithely wriggle his way onto the simulator with him.
There's another sigh, this one content and Charles feels the vibration of the pleased little hum where they're sitting chest to chest, Lando's legs either side of his hips. He smiles softly, pausing the simulation to run one hand up and down Lando's back, the other tangling in messy curls, and he smiles more when a gentle kiss is pressed against the side of his neck.

"I'm sorry I bit you, I was trying to flirt!"
(Sho has tried everything he can think of to make his feelings clear to Kei, and gotten no acknowledgement - or, almost everything. . .)

"Hey, uh weird question, but what's the easiest way to steal a man's wallet?"
Lando feels three sets of eyes snap towards him, and the heat rises in his cheeks. He ducks his head, a little embarrassed, until a warm hand squeezes his own and he smiles shyly at Pierre.
"Personally, I'd go knife to the throat. Pretty effective and they're usually quick to give it up." Max is nonchalant as he says it, simply stirring through his coffee with a biscotti.
"Nah, too easy to leave a mark." George is quick to throw in, taking a sip of his tea. "You just get behind them, gun to the back, tell them to drop it and keep walking."
Lando opens his mouth, eyes wide and more than a little concerned, but before he can say anything Charles pipes up.
"Both of you are far too obvious. Depending on the situation the best way would be just perform a simple lift, and if you're in a more suited situation, a little poison in their drink, disguise it as drunk or fainted and in the confusion the wallet's yours."
Pierre's glares at them all, squeezing Lando's hand gently. "You're all horrible." He says.
Lando smiles softly at him, pecking his cheek as he stands and heads towards the counter. He flicks the kettle on, pulling another batch of cookies out of the oven just as a timer beeps. He busies himself making another tea for himself and George, and puts a few of the freshly baked goods on a plate. His hand disappears for a moment, and when it reappears it's holding four wallets.
The men at the table all scramble for their pockets, staring at Lando open-mouthed and with more than a hint of pride in their eyes.
"I think the answer to the question should have been distraction." Lando smirks.
